What a fun cooking class with Juli and her husband Walt! We had a great time and left feeling that we could actually make our own ricotta cheese and delicious pasta dish! We highly recommend this experience! 10/10

Just a wonderful experience for us and our teenage boys and girls. I highly recommend this for any foodie or anyone how likes good food. Juli's knowledge of various cuisines was impressive and even though I thought myself knowledgeable about Italian cooking, I learned more than I can remember.
Walt was a master of exotic and delicious drinks (non-alcoholic) and we couldn't get enough.
We're recommending this experience to all our friends and family.

Our girl group had an unforgettable celebration with Juli's incredible cooking experience! The homemade food was not only delicious but also simple enough to recreate at home, and the shrub beverages and tartine toppings inspired so much creativity. The cacio e pepe pasta was perfection and the surprise homemade dessert at the end was the sweetest touch to a perfect day! Juli is truly the kindest host—genuinely passionate about teaching and sharing her love of cooking, making everyone feel welcome and confident in the kitchen. Walt is a wonderful co-host and sous chef who kept us entertained with his humor while the rescue dogs, Bella and Dexter, we're the sweetest clean up crew. Thank you so much for hosting us and we can't wait to sign up for another class!

This was one of the best classes we have been to! Juli and Walt were amazing hosts. Juli is such a great host and an amazing chef. Walt made sure we were all taken care of and that our glasses were never empty. They were absolutely the most incredible hosts. I will be back. Oh, and did I mention that the food was delicious.

Juli has a lifetime of knowledge to share and makes it really fun to learn. My partner and are picky foodies and found the specialty shrub drinks and dishes we made together to be exceptionally delicious. We love cooking classes! This experience was so much more. It was exactly as described but the graciousness and friendliness of our host Juli made us feel so welcome. It was hands on, creative and we made something we have never thought of making. Making ricotta was like an experiment, it was fun and the results were yummy. Somehow, between our courses, the kitchen was magically cleaned. Thanks Walt! I recommend this experience for beginner or advanced cooks.

About me
Chef and teacher
I am a lifelong chef. I have taught hundreds of fine cooking classes, including several hundred on Zoom during Covid. My grandfather was born in Italy and was a cheese maker and restaurant operator. His ricotta is one of my earliest food memories that this class allows me to share with you.
