What you'll do

Starting from City bridge we will take sunset panorama of the City. In one hour Sunset Panorama we will pass by the most significant architectural buildings and sights of the old town. The most important are Zadar's ramparts that are listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List from 2017. Next is
the oldest University in Croatia from 14th century. By the university is classic and now closed Hotel Zagreb from which in May 1964, Alfred Hitchcock said “The sunset of Zadar is the world’s most beautiful". Riding along the shore we reach the Sea organs- architectural sound art object which plays music by way of sea waves and tubes located underneath a set of large marble steps. Sunset on the sea, from the boat, with the sound of Sea organs is a unique experience that will make your trip unforgettable.

Hi, my name is Andrej. I am a professor of history and geography and a great sea lover, also I am founder of „Banalis boats“, a small business that I started by myself. Five years ago I bought a boat from 1985 and spent a year reconstructing it, mostly by myself. Since my early childhood I have been exploring all the islands and bays of Zadar archipelago, fishing and spearfishing. I am happy to share my knowledge with people who are interested in discovering the old city from the boat.

From the first moment we contacted Andrej, he was very quick to respond, accommodating and nice. This tour was the first thing we did in a very short trip to Zadar, and it was a wonderful way to get a quick overview of the history and old town architecture, while enjoying the boat ride and the gorgeous views. Thank you, Andrej!

Andrej is the captain of his ship. He made me feel very comfortable and he was happy to have me aboard. He shared some stories about the harbor and the histories of landmarks along the coast, and l wish l could have stayed aboard longer.
