About your host

Archeologist and passionate about cooking, I was elected Miss Chef Lazio 2017. With “Le delizie di Chloe” brand, I do the home chef, organize events and control an e-commerce network of short-chain Bio products. I like to be a free chef because this allows me to express my creativity in the kitchen to the fullest by revisiting in a modern and gourmand key the best dishes of ancient Rome

What we’ll do

Maybe not everyone knows that Ancient Romans have invented fast food and aperitif. In the prestigious frame of ancient Palace, we will travel with the imagination preparing together street food eated by pilgrims and merchants. There, we will learn to cook the "capitone" (eel) in chickpea soup. This recipe finds its historical base in devotional offerings to the “Sacred snake” and in the apotropaic…

What else you should know

-Please warn if there are intollerances and allergies to food and drink -It doesn’t include shift and archaelogical visit of the mentioned sites (you can book the archaelogical guide separately)

What I’ll provide

Food
Eel in chickpea soup The meal will be prepared by you with the chef who will enrich your exprience with anecdotes related to the story of the dish
Drinks
Archeoaperitif We are going to prepare the aperitif with the same genuine products used by Ancient Romans for their streetfood

Where you'll be

I'll meet you in Piazza Navona and we will move to the location. Will be guests in a delightful fifteenth century Palace, near Campo de’ Fiori, or in a eighteenth century apartment back Pantheon (depending on the date). After showcooking, will take you on a walk through the heart of the most authentic and ancient Rome.
