A warm, cosy terraced three storey house on a quiet back street close to Macclesfield Town Centre and South Park
My house is on a quiet street close to the town centre and South park. We are ideally located for journeys into the Manchester, with it taking an hour by car or twenty minutes on the train which is a ten minute walk away. Macclesfield also offers some stunning walking and cycling paths, with the forest, canal and Middlewood way all close by. I have a dog so guests need to be dog friendly, but he's very friendly. I also work from home so spend most of the day in and out. The house is three storey, with the ground floor offering the lounge and kitchen. The first floor is where the guest bedroom is as well as the shared bathroom. The top floor is where my bedroom is located. There is internet available in the house, and the only TV (freeview) is located in the spare room for your personal use. I am out most evenings, and in and out throughout the day. Although privacy is no an issue as I will mainly be on the top floor if I am in in the evening. There is tea and coffee next to the kettle for you to use. My house is great for individuals or couples.
Located on a quiet street with the park and town centre all within five minutes walk. Futher afield, you can discover the stunning scenery around, including Macclesfield forest and the canal.

A recently fully refurbished single storey self contained building situated surrounded by fields on our organic bio farm in beautiful Cheshire countryside. Down a private drive it is quiet but close to local railway stations Goostrey and Holmes Chapel and 8 minutes to junction 18 M6. We can provide a do-it-yourself breakfast hamper with organic cereals, bread, fruit and eggs. A selection of pubs locally with one in easy walking distance. A great location to explore the North west and Manchester.
We are proud of the environmental credentials of the cottage. A warm cosy space with a wood burning stove and sheep's wool insulation under the roof. An efficient LPG gas central heating system adds background heat and ensures instantaneous hot water. The paint is solvent free mineral paint. The floor-boards are reclaimed from a Manchester cotton mill. Our bedding and towels are all organic cotton and the duvet is made with welsh organic wool. Our toiletries are all organic and we use ecological cleaning products. In the summer relax at the picnic table on the patio area in front of the cottage. Eat you breakfast or evening meal al-fresco if you wish.
Our farm is located just above the valley of the River Dane. There is good walking with a network of public paths. The national cycle way No 573 passes past the end of the farm drive and links to route 70 and ultimately route 5. Ideally located to explore the North West; Cheshire, Greater Manchester, North Wales, Shropshire, the Borders, Staffordshire or the Peak District National Park. Have a few days with us to break the journey to and from The Lakes, Scotland or the West Country. Walk to the village of Swettenham with a nature reserve and the Quinta Arboretum. Welcome to Beartown Cottage, located just a stone's throw from the town centre but just far enough away to avoid any noise! Having just been renovated throughout, the cottage is perfectly placed for your visit to Congleton. The cottage gets its name from the town's nickname 'Beartown' as legend has it that the town's bible was sold to buy a bear! This is the perfect base to explore the history of the region!
A traditional 2-up, 2-down end of terrace cottage, it has a quirky shape which adds to its charm! On the ground floor, you will find an open plan style kitchen and living room. Upstairs you will find a good sized double bedroom, a single bedroom and a shower room. The kitchen/diner has everything you need for a comfortable stay with washing machine, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster and microwave.
The property is located just a 2-minute walk from the town centre with all the local amenities you would expect from a thriving market town! There are several bars and restaurants well worth a visit!

You will be delighted with our chic and modern one bedroom apartment with its own terrace and enchanted garden. Set within a quiet area in Wilmslow, our apartment is perfect for business travelers, couples and small families. We have a dedicated parking space, as well as free WiFi. Wilmslow town centre with all its stylish lively bars and elegant restaurants is a mere 20 minutes' walk through a lovely housing estate. Additionally, a Lidl, Tesco, chippy and pub are located a stone's throw away.
Our Cheshire Garden Apartment comprises a modern, newly refurbished one bedroom apartment located on the ground floor. Our apartment is a real home from home and is equipped with everything you might need during your stay. We have summarised the property's amenities as follows: • Free wireless broadband • Dedicated off-road parking space to the rear of the property • New fully fitted kitchen including supplies of tea, coffee, sugar, oil, spread, jams or marmalade, cornflakes, washing up liquid, kitchen roll, plus a few other items. • Fresh linen and towels are provided including bathroom soap, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner • Flat screen smart TV with Netflix • Hair-dryer • Iron & ironing board • Cafeteria • Washing machine & washing pods • Various books including cook books & pens and a pad Given that the property is located on the ground floor it is suitable for disabled people. We can provide a travel cot for your little one, if prior notice is given. Hire of the cot is £20 per stay, which includes bedding and towel.
Our apartment is uniquely located 10 minutes' drive from Manchester Airport, 20 minutes from Manchester city centre and about half an hour from the Peak District. Wilmslow town centre and railway station can be reached within 20 minutes by foot. The walk takes you through a lovely affluent housing estate and along the edge of Wilmslow Park. There are lots of fabulous restaurants, cafes, bars and pubs in Wilmlsow town centre. Our favourite pub where we can be found on most Friday and Saturday evenings is the Unicorn pub on Adlington Road (about 20 minutes by foot) - it's a great no-nonsense gastro pub with a menu of traditional British dishes and a family-friendly vibe. It has a great beer garden to the rear and Noah is a huge fan of their fish fingers, chips and beans. Another insider tip is The Cheshire Butcher and Farm shop on Lees Lane (5 minute drive). We get most of our fresh meat and produce from them and they never disappoint - a real gem! We highly recommend the homemade pies. Wilmslow Garden Centre is also a must during your stay (located on Manchester Road, within 5 minutes' drive). It is widely considered to be the best garden centre in Cheshire and has a great restaurant. If you are interested in discovering the area's history, we would recommend paying Quarry Bank Mill a visit. The mill is one of the best preserved cotton mills on the Industrial Revolution and allows visitors to understand the hardships faced by the workers who toiled in the mill, and uncover engineering genius at work. I visited for the first time on a school trip in 1995 and have returned many times since.
