This private double bedroom (one out of 4 bedroom for other guests) is fitted comfy double bed, it has also a desk with a chair, a wardrobe and some drawers, its a very bright space. Towels and hairdryer are provided and you'll share the communal area (bathroom, kitchen) with other other guests Big bathroom with bathtub and standing shower with shower gel, shampoo, conditioner are provided. Kitchen with everything provided: fridge freezer, kettle, toaster, microwave, washing machine, cooking set, dining set and cutlery. Small Back Garden
One of the most amazing things about Waterloo is its location! To be honest you couldn’t wish for a better location as there are hundreds of fascinating places to visit, either in or within walking distance of this great district. There’s modern attractions such as the BFI IMAX and world famous places such as the and London Eye for you to experience. There is also a thriving arts and cultural scene in Waterloo with theatres such as The Old Vic providing entertainment, and a large selection of bars, cafes and restaurants. You’ll also find Westminster and its landmarks (including the Houses of Parliament) just across Westminster Bridge. Waterloo Train and Tube Station is another huge positive of the district as you can access all areas of London and beyond in next to no time! Waterloo is one of the busiest parts of London thanks to its train station; in fact, it is estimated that around 170 million passengers use Waterloo Train Station each year! This means that you should not expect a peaceful time here, but let’s be honest, you don’t come to the heart of London for peace and quiet! Having said this, the area surrounding Waterloo Train Station is arguably quieter than some of the neighbouring districts as it has a large residential area, mostly full of professionals who’ll be at work during the day. As with all Central London districts, there’s the usual problem of traffic congestion and it can be really difficult to drive to the area. To counter this, excellent transport links circle Waterloo, and as you can walk to so many places, you shouldn’t need or want to drive anyway!

The area is the epitome of old London. Perfect location, beautiful house, sunny garden & a comfortable double room; all just a short walk through the park to the Thames. Relax, cook, dine al fresco, sleep in peace, enjoy your stay & discover London. Perfect for walking and public transit. Recently Renovated.
This bright and beautiful room is newly refurbished and perfect for a welcoming and comfy stay. It has a double bed, a console desk, and full height mirror. By London standards, the room is spacious, and its sash window looks out over our quiet leafy street. Our house is something of a gem. It retains the old character for which the entire terrace has been given heritage protection, but has been renovated to a high and modern standard. Guests have access to our lovely open-plan living spaces, as well as to our sunny and secluded south/west facing garden. Despite being incredibly central, our house is located on a charming and quiet residential street. New visitors never fail to remark how calm our street is, and how surprised they are to find such serenity at the heart of the metropolis.
We honestly believe it when we say that we think this is the perfect location. The South Bank is probably London's #1 destination, and no visit to London is complete without a walk along the River. Our neighbourhood is clearly 'on-the-up', but thankfully remains quiet* and unspoiled. (*excepting when there are fireworks) We're near four great food markets, including the amazing and famous Borough Market and the oh-so-hipster Maltby Street Market. For more cheap-eats, there's the Lower Marsh Market and the (yummy) Real Food Market at Royal Festival Hall. There are also lots of great restaurants and bars nearby, including a few hidden gems and some great new ones. Top cultural offerings are nearby, including the aforementioned Royal Festival Hall, with many free events, the South Bank Centre, the Hayward Gallery, the National Theatre, the British Film Institute, the Tate Modern & Shakespeare's Globe, as well as the London Eye and the Shard. While the west-end and "theatre-land" are only a 15 minutes walk across the bridge, our neighbourhood hosts great cutting edge theatres. Many big west-end & broadway shows have been born at the Menier Chocolate Factory, while the big names often feature at the Old Vic and Young Vic. (With over a dozen theatres nearby that is far from an exhaustive list.) For shoppers, there are lots of small independant designer boutiques nearby at OXO Tower Wharf and across the river in Covent Garden & Seven Dials. In addition to the lovely South Bank and its string of parks, we are near to the main Royal Parks, as well as the ancient City of London. Hampton Court and Greenwich are short train rides away.

My place is close to Big Ben and Bermondsey St. You’ll love my place because of the ambiance, the neighborhood, and the comfy bed. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). The flat is located on 4th floor and there is a lift in the building.
This is a cozy double room with balcony and with a magnificent view of London’s skyline. It has a comfortable bed, plenty of wardrobe space, little table and a locker. The apartment is located on the 4th floor of a quiet residential block with lift access. The centrepiece of the apartment is a spacious and light-filled. The compact but tidy kitchen is well equipped with gas hob and oven, microwave, fridge freezer, well stocked store cupboard and washing machine, all of which you are welcome to use. Kitchen, the bathroom and separate WC are shared with other Airbnb guests.
It is ideally placed to explore the vibrant cultural scene of the Southbank, including the London Eye, the National Theatre, Royal Festival Hall, British Film Institute, Tate Modern Gallery and Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre. Venture a little further to enjoy the iconic views of Big Ben, Tower Bridge and St Paul’s Cathedral. On your way home try out our favourite local haunts along ‘The Cut’ – a street buzzing with trendy pubs and restaurants, not to mention the Old Vic and New Vic theatres and the Ministry of Sound nightclub.

An historically listed 1840's terraced house in a very quiet, extremely scenic Victorian street (often used as a film set!), just five minutes' walk from Waterloo Station and the South Bank. The property is all newly refurbished, and you will have your own bedroom with use of the bathroom, garden, dining room, living room, and kitchen. An ideal location for visiting the heart of London!
The bedroom has original 1840's wood panelling and fire grate, a double bed, fitted wardrobes, two chests of drawers and a television. Hair straighteners, a hair dryer, and a desk fan are also included. The room measures approximately 8.74 square metres/94 square feet. The houses on the street were built around 1840 as a home for artisan workers (stone masons, blacksmiths, coopers etc.). All of the properties are now grade II listed under the Roupell Street Conservation Area, meaning that they're of "special architectural or historic interest considered to be of national importance and therefore worth protecting." Due to the historic nature of the properties the street is often used as a film set, and has appeared in Legend, Doctor Who, Call The Midwife, and most recently The Aeronauts starring Eddie Redmayne (photos can be found on the Lambeth Estates Residents Association website). A history of the Roupell Street Conservation Area can be found here: london-walking-tours dot co dot uk/secret-london/roupell-street-conservation-area.htm
This is an historic property on an 1840's street. Although it is only a five minute walk from the South Bank, it is extremely quiet, with hardly any noise whatsoever. The West End, Parliament, Buckingham Palace, and the Tower of London are only a twenty to thirty minute walk away, and there are three historic pubs within a five minute walk of the house (the Kings Arms, the Rose & Crown, and the White Hart).

Characterful two bed flat in a calm spot in the heart of London super close to all the sights. This is my home! Guests share the flat with me rather than a house full of other airbnb guests. Perfect for independent travellers excited to see the city. Please note this is shared accommodation, not a hotel. My flat is perfectly located: a 7 minute WALK to the South Bank, 10 to Big Ben, 20 to Covent Garden. Excellent public transport and a quiet spot make it good for business travellers.
Very comfortable double bed and generous storage space. Smart TV in living room. The TV in the bedroom has ChromeCast, which means you can view downloaded films from your laptop or smartphone, or stream SVOD or catchup TV. Fast wifi. Separate shower/bath room and loo. They are shared and not en suite, but it is closest to the guest room and across the corridor from my bedroom. Kitchen and open plan living room. Sunny leafy balcony. My flat is in a small ex-council block so there is very little noise from neighbours due to thick walls (unlike converted Victorian housing). The neighbours are friendly, and street noise is low despite such a central location. There is one short flight of stairs up to the flat, and the flat is extra safe as there's both an external door and an inner door. The area is well lit at night, and I have never experienced any trouble in the neighbourhood in the past six years I have lived here.
Central London - what more is there to say! And Waterloo is a wonderful area. Ask me for tips and I'll let you know of all the best places to eat/drink locally. I also have a number of guidebooks stocked in the guest room.

Venturing south instead, will take you to theatregoers' favourites the Old Vic, the Young Vic as well as the shops and market stalls along Lower Marsh.
