My homely one bedroom apartment is on the beach road looking out towards Robben Island. It is an easy walk to the V&A Waterfront (1,5km) and trendy restaurants as well as being on the MyCiti and Hop On Hop Off bus routes. It is close to the buzzing city, the stadium and spectacular beaches!
My apartment is unique because of its incredible location and it is extremely comfortable - a home away from home (with a view).
Mouille Point is a great area, safe and close to everything. Although it is a peaceful beachfront neighbourhood, there is a lot of activity just in front of the apartment. The V&A Waterfront is in walking distance, as well restaurants, Virgin Active gym, the stadium and the city. Bicycles are for hire nearby which is a great way to get to know the area - it is an easy cycle to the famous beaches of Cape Town. The Hellenic Club is just behind the apartment block, which caters to the Greek community (Friday nights) and anyone else who loves the cuisine.

Directions to a "Room with a View" from Cape Town Int; Airport. The most reasonable and safe mode of public transport would be the "My Citi" bus service which has a bus station at the airport. Purchase a My Citi bus card , load it with points (approx R60) which will get one to the Civic Centre Bus Station Don't forget to "tap in and tap out" ! From the Civic Centre Station I would take a private cab to my address, which is not too far away. This should cost in the region of R40- R45 and points remaining, can be used on the many routes around Cape Town. A landmark for the cab driver would be The Radisson Blu Hotel , which is very close to my building. In the foyer one would see an electronic keyboard, enter the flat number and I can let you in. Is easily accessed from my building -- just cross the road and you are on the promenade and can walk, to the right, to The V&A Waterfront which is the most visited attraction in Cape Town and jam packed with shops, restaurants, movie houses, boat or helicopter rides etc; To the left one overlooks the sea and beach and walking along the Promenade with the sea pounding against the sea wall is an exhilarating experience. You will also find many restaurants, the super eco- friendly Green Point Park with it's green gym and just adjacent to it is the fully equipped Virgin Active Gym which sports a large pool. Generally , one always feels in holiday mood in Mouille Point.
