Brightly decorated double bedroom in a quiet flat. Less than 1 mile (1.2Km) from the city centre as well as 7 different bus routes within 2 mins walk. Peterborough is a vibrant city with much to do and see. The Nene Valley Railway and Peterborough Cathedral are some of the biggest highlights and are within walking distance. I have enlisted my partner as co-host but he doesn't live here and I'm usually at his house. It's listed as a room but you'll mostly have the place to yourself.
You'll have a wardrobe, draws, TV and Tea/Coffee making facilities all in your own room. The room will have a lockable door so you can keep your things securely and have some privacy.
There's a restaurant, pizza takeaway, pub and an Italian corner shop all within 2-5 mins walk. The football grounds are about 5-10 mins away and the property is far enough from the night life to be unaffected.

The kitchen has built-in appliances - an electric oven, halogen hob, with extractor over, fridge-freezer and slim-lime dishwasher; there is also a microwave, kettle, toaster, various pieces of kitchenware - including pans, crockery and cutlery. The bedroom is located off the hallway and provides a double bed, wardrobe, two chest of drawer units and two bedside table with lamps. The bathroom is also off the hallway (opposite the bedroom) and provides a walk-in shower, basin, toilet and heated towel rail. Lovely terraced period property with original fireplaces. The house boasts a well-equipped kitchen, downstairs bathroom and three bedrooms, one of which will be locked. The bedrooms have a king and double bed. There is currently a 14% discount when booking for a week or more, and a 30% discount if booking for a month.
It is a beautiful little terraced house from the 1900's. I particularly love the fire places and wood floors. There is a well equipped galley style kitchen, and three large bedrooms. The front bedroom has a king sized bed with a memory foam mattress. The room also includes a vanity table, cupboard and drawers that are currently filled with bed linen. The double room at the back of the house has a standard double bed. The room also has shelving and a chest of drawers. The office room has a small double bed, two wardrobes, a small desk with a chair and shelves that have my belongings on them. I've also stored my bike there. This room will be locked and not available if the house is booked for 4 people or fewer. If you would like to use this room and are booking for fewer than 4 people let me know and I will have it unlocked for you. The bed in there is more comfy than the sofa bed, but you'll be sharing with a bike! The steps in the house are quite steep, and might not be ideal for people with mobility issues or small children, particularly since the bathroom is downstairs. I have turned the garden into an allotment style space, but while I've been away it has got a little overgrown. It is currently producing kale and soon Broccoli, so feel free to partake if you'd like to.
The best shop in the area is the Pasta shop at the end of the road. It has a great deli with lots of meats and cheeses. They make fresh sandwiches and often sell dough and pizza slices. I'd highly recommend it.

Founded as a monastic community in 654 AD, it became one of the most significant medieval abbeys in the country, the burial place of two queens and the scene of Civil War upheavals.
