It's a small nice and cozy house, with large yard, the stop bus is outside my house, and only two blocks from the train station, 7 minutes from the Xcel energy center and Downtown Saint Paul.
  • Place is pretty straight forward and pretty close to places. About 15-20 minutes away. Odette is sweet and her lovely dog is waiting when you get to the door :) overallmy stay was pleasant and would stay here again if I come back to Minnesota.

    Princess2019-05-27T00:00:00Z
  • This is a really nice place! Safe, comfy, spacious, and clean. Odette was a wonderful host and she was kind enough to stay up when we were super late for checking in. It was also super close to the rivercentre! Overall excellent place to stay.

  • I have stayed in St. Paul on and off for two years at six different Airbnb locations. For the money this place is as good as you will find. You essentially have half the house to yourself. The check-in is easy and through a lock box, you have a living room, a bathroom, a closet, and a nice bedroom. Great place to stay and I will definitely be requesting to come back!

    Neil2019-05-04T00:00:00Z
  • I’ve stayed with Odette a couple times and she’s always welcoming. Thanks Odette!

    Julie2018-12-30T00:00:00Z
  • Odette is very accommodating. Her house is very clean and the bed is comfy.

    Julie2018-12-02T00:00:00Z
  • Odette was very attentive and made me feel at home! Her dog Nana was also a sweetheart! I definitely recommend her to anyone staying in MN for an extended amount of time.

    Houa2019-07-04T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed our stay at Odette’s place. Her dog was very friendly, the house was clean, we like the location, we would come back anytime. She was a very hospitable host and was nice to talk to you.

    Ruben2019-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • I chose Odette’s place because it had really good cleanliness reviews even though it’s not as pricey as other places, but when I arrived it was as if someone else had stayed their and nothing was clean. There was a big sticky stain on the nightstands and we have a huge ant crawling all over it a foot from my face. This wouldn’t have been such a big problem if the bed was not also directly on the floor. The bathroom was also seemed like it also hadn’t been cleaned in awhile which was concerning. I never met the host but I did meet her multiple camera security system right outside our bedroom door.

Comfortable, sunny room. Extra long double bed, sunny room with both north and west-facing windows. Equipped with a desk, wardrobe, vanity and arm chair. Shared bath next to bedrooms (upstairs). (Additional private bath attached to downstairs bedroom.) Use of main floor - dining room, living room, foyer and kitchen. Bikes available. Laundry negotiable. Fenced-in yard. Plenty of street parking. Close to busses.
This room gets the afternoon sun. Because the room looks out over the garage roof, you can leave your shades open and still get privacy. The room is provided with an extra-long double bed, book shelves (and a collection of VHS tapes with a television to play them), a desk, an armchair, a wardrobe with shelves and a clothing rod, a vanity/toiletries table, a small lingerie dresser/night stand, and a 3-drawer built-in dresser and a television with local stations. My things are stored in the walk-in closet and the linen closet/built in dresser.
Como Park is one of the city's jewels. In addition to the lake and surrounding park there's a free zoo and conservatory, open year-round. Downtown Saint Paul is only 3 miles away on a direct bus line, and Minneapolis is a little farther in the opposite direction, but also on the same line. Roseville is convenient for shopping of all kinds with supermarkets and a variety of malls, big and small. University Avenue, to the south, has a great selection of ethnic shops and restaurants as well as the standard big box stores.
  • Lovely stay beautiful home. Well situated between the Twin Cities and a great host in Gayle. Definitely recommend.

    Nick2017-07-08T00:00:00Z
  • Gayle is very knowledgeable about what's happening around town and the sites to visit. She's a very fun person to talk with.

    Cindy2018-08-17T00:00:00Z
  • Gayle is a splendid host. She made me feel at home and was helpfull in every way possible. Room was super comfortable and clean. I had my privacy and felt safe the whole time. 5 stars for Gayle and her home.

    Donnell2019-05-08T00:00:00Z
  • Gayle was a great host! She was in great communication with me before and during the trip. She went out of her way several times to assist me with things I needed while getting ready and helping out with my friends wedding. She also save me a lot of heartache by telling me the best ways to get around town to avoid local construction! I highly recommend staying with Gayle. She is a sweetheart!

    Lindsay2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • Gayle made me feel welcome early on when she accepted my request to stay. She asked prior to my arrival what some of my special requests would consist of. The room is very spacious and the bed was very cozy. Every night I stayed I had some of the best rest. The place is tucked away so there is not a constant traffic around the area. This is nice when you want to conveniently pull up to park and walk in with little to no hassle of foot or car traffic.

    William2016-04-08T00:00:00Z
  • Affordable stay, and Gayle is flexible with travel plan changes!

    Jacquelyn2019-06-29T00:00:00Z
  • Gayle is a very friendly and attentive hostess. She was always checking that I had what I needed, took the time to get me set up on a bike, gave me advice on what to see and how to get places, and maintains a clean, beautiful home and garden. She is very invested and active in the Lake Como community. I would stay there again if I need a BnB in the Twin Cities.

  • Very kind and nice Vietnamese couple. The husband just finished his graduate study and is looking for a job, and his wife came to this country recentry. They have a cute fourteen-month old girl. The wife is now in graduate program. Their starter house is very simple. The room is very simple and plain. My room contained a desk and a chair. There was a dresser, but I didn't use it. And one mattress on the floor to sleep on. So it was more of a crash pad - a place to sleep. Think of it as you are staying at your friend's extra room with mattress. Both of them are new ABA hosts, and they are relatively new to this country, so they are still learning the customs and expectations of this country. I learned something new from them. I didn'realize this until I get there, but there is another room that they rent out. They only have one bathroom bathroom and is shared by the couple and ABA guests from two rooms.

Single family home with open first floor plan. Bedroom on 1st floor next to kitchen. We are up by 7am. Fresh veggies from the garden in summer and homemade jam in the winter. Breakfast provided to daily and weekly guests. Clean, comfortable, quiet and organized home. 2 blks to bus. 1/2 mile to Green Line train for easy access to both downtowns. 2 miles to Midway Shopping Center (Target, Cub Foods, etc). Very close to Frogtown Park and Farm. 1/2 mile to University Ave with many restaurants.
We are urban gardeners. We cook from scratch. We will have breakfast options available for daily and weekly guest. These could include homemade granola and made from scratch chocolate sourdough waffles. Coffee and tea are available too.
Frogtown has always been a working class neighborhood. The people who built the original trolley line from Minneapolis to Saint Paul lived in this neighborhood. In terms of ethnic composition it is about 1/3 white, 1/3 African American and 1/3 Asian. It used to be a very swampy area before it was drained and there were a lot of frogs - thus the name, Frogtown. There are GREAT and affordable restarants nearby on University Ave.
  • A lovely place to stay. The house is comfy and clean, with very nice touches. Lara is a great host!

    Yan Yan2019-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • This feels like what the spirit of Air B&B should be... a nice home with friendly people.

    Chris2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • Lara and her mother are wonderful hosts, the space has stylish touches, and the bed was super comfortable. The only thing I would critique is just the location which Lara cannot change. I didn’t expect it to be a somewhat more run down part of town, but Lara’s House was not at all run down and I had no issues at all the entire time I was there. I would definitely stay again if I needed to.

    Julie2019-04-12T00:00:00Z
  • Lara’s house was a lovely stop for us on our one day trip to Minneapolis. Her breakfasts are delicious and the bed very comfy!

    Zoe2018-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • A wonderful place to stay! Lara and her mother are excellent hosts, full of great information about the area. She went above and beyond, putting the "bed and breakfast" back in AirBnB - breakfast was always available and the bed linens were washed and renewed every week. Dogs Tia and Pheobe are adorable and friendly (even if they bark a bit). The neighborhood is great as well. 5 Stars, would stay again.

  • The rental space is absolutly charming with its bright colors and quirks. I'm not normally one to socialize with my hosts but the family is so warm and welcoming its hard not to love them. Great tips on local eats and very helpful with anything you could need. It's truly become my home in St. Paul.

  • Mirabella and George were warm and friendly hosts with multiple suggestions on what best to see in my short time in the Twin Cities. The space was cheerful with potential needs anticipated (e.g., heat turned on prior to my arthritis). I was shown great hospitality and can’t recommend this Airbnb enough.

My home is great for a couple or family looking for a comfortable, clean, cozy place for their stay. It is located in Como Park in St. Paul. A short drive to the zoo and either downtown St. Paul or Minneapolis, as well as numerous other attractions.
This is a one and a half floor Cape Cod house. You will have access to the main level and second floor bedroom. My children’s rooms, basement, and upstairs closet are private, sorry! In the warmer months, enjoy the deck, grill, and fenced backyard. Stay warm by the fire, I'll provide the wood!
My part of Como is terrific. It is a short drive to Como Zoo, a local free zoo and park with a wonderful conservatory. It is only a ten to fifteen minute drive to either downtown Saint Paul or Minneapolis. Restaurants abound and I have my favorites that I'd be happy to share with you! The neighborhood is quiet. Enjoy a walk down the tree-lined streets and make your way to Como Lake for coffee, a drink, ice cream, or rent a surrey to cruise around the lake!

  • Benjamin’s house is a really cosy place where you can sleep very well. They provide you with enough blankets and they’re really fluffy. The bathroom is also really nice. Benjamin is also a very communicative host. Minus point for me was the cleanliness. But they have a fireplace. Which we didn’t get to try out, but would probably be wonderful!

    Kris2019-03-29T00:00:00Z
  • Benjamin's place was perfect for us! The location was great and there were plenty of places to sleep and was a very comfortable place to stay.

    Hin Sing2019-06-11T00:00:00Z
  • My stay at Benjamin's house was perfect. There is a lot of room in the house, and it is obviously well-cared for. Easy parking was an added bonus. I've used Airbnb quite a lot over the past five years, both as a host and as a guest. Benjamin's place stays true to the original concept of Airbnb: it's his actual house, that he rents out from time-to-time. If you're expecting a hotel, book a hotel. This place has all the charm of a lived-in house, and plenty of privacy, room to stretch out and amenities to make it very comfortable. I plan to stay here again soon, as my travels bring me back to St. Paul.

    Gabriel2019-04-05T00:00:00Z
  • This was my second stay at Benjamin's house. The house was a perfect, comfortable and spacious place to stay while on business in the Twin Cities. There are a few areas where you can tell this is an actual, lived-in house: evidence of kids spilling juice on the carpet, but you can tell that everything has been thoroughly cleaned between guests. After a day here, it already felt just like home! I would stay here again, gladly.

Quaint and charming are some of the words used to describe this unique place. The manor has an enclosed courtyard with plenty of room for your next family function or gathering. We have a wonderful doberman named Scorch. She is very well socialized and well behaved. We are close to downtown St. Paul and Mpls with access to the freeway within a mile or so.
I live in a diverse neighborhood that is often busy and bustling but we have a compound that creates an inner sanctum, like a place out of time. It has been described as a country place hidden in the city.
  • I stayed in the Manor for a month while I was studying in St Paul. It was a great choice. For me the most important things were all there - a very comfortable bed, a great shower, plenty of space and quiet for me to study, very friendly and accommodating host (Sean lent me a bicycle for the whole time I was there which was a lifesaver), and the trees and space in the Garden allowed for a feeling of being in the countryside, even so close to downtown!

    Carol2013-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • Sean was very resourceful and Scorch was very friendly. The home was beautiful, and the bed was comfy. I would definitely stay here again!

    Adam2013-06-13T00:00:00Z
  • Sean was a fantastic host and his pup, Scorch, was very sweet! He was a great source of information on suggestions of things to and eat. The room was spacious and the bed was quite comfortable. I would most definitely stay here again if in town!

  • Sean is very friendly & accommodating!! Being able to bring my dog was a real plus & the fenced property was much appreciated! His dog Scorch is a gentleman, also! We were very comfortable & intrigued with the Manor!! Cleanliness was a 10!

  • Great stay. Private room and bathroom, nice sheets and fast wi-fi. Sean and Scorch are perfect hosts.

    J.D.2012-08-09T00:00:00Z
  • A beautiful, unique place to stay in the Twin Cities area! Close to the airport and downtown made my stay very convenient. More so, I got a better night's sleep than I had had in days and was grateful for a warm, welcoming, comfortable place to lay my head during my travels. Sean is a gracious, accommodating host, and the environment is artistically stimulating- from his singular talent, and the distinctive architecture! Scorch is extraordinarily well behaved, and I was delighted all around.

    Jennie2012-11-18T00:00:00Z
  • As always, staying with Sean and scorch is such an amazing experience. The two are such great hosts, and Sean is such a wonderful person to have a conversation with. Always very respectful and kind. Plus he keeps his home very clean. I am never ever disappointed when I stay with Sean and scorch and would highly recommend to everyone looking for a fun, warm, and inviting Airbnb to stay at.

    Zak2019-06-01T00:00:00Z
  • My boyfriend and I stayed with Sean over the weekend and had the most amazing time!! We were seeing a concert at the Xcel Centre which was a very short drive from Sean's place. The moment we got there we knew we'd have a wonderful weekend. The house is absolutely beautiful, Sean and Scorch were so welcoming and made us feel right at home. Sean is incredibly interesting and has a lot of great stories if you take the time to talk! A lot of the interior was made by Sean which made the location feel that much more special. His place is very close to some great restaurants (especially the Red Cow) and was easy to get to for us out of towners. We are both looking forward to staying with Sean next time we travel down to the US! P.S. Scorch is the sweetest dog you'll ever encounter, she is so friendly, polite and well behaved. Make sure you ask her and Sean to play the treat game! She was definitely a highlight of our trip!! Thank you so much Sean, we couldn't have asked for a better weekend.

Welcome to our newly renovated basement guest suite! We rent this out on a very limited basis. This suite is large and sun filled with 3 windows, large attached bathroom with walk in shower, and a small desk for study and relaxation. This suite is perfect for a student, business traveler, or traveler who will be visiting family/friends in the Twin Cities. This suite is not appropriate for couples looking for a romantic or intimate night away.
This is a basement bedroom with attached bathroom. This room is located directly below an AirBnB room on our main level. While it offers significant amount of privacy, our home is not entirely sound proof. We ask you limit loud telephone conversations and media during your stay here.
Como Park is a beautiful neighborhood within Saint Paul. Como Lake is within 3 blocks of our home, trails to Como Park and Zoo within 2 blocks. Door to door from our home to the zoo is less than a mile.
  • Alec’s space was perfect for my St.Paul mini vacation. It is very spacious, includes a wet bar, comfy bed, and ample sunlight for a first floor space from an egress window. I loved that it is within walking distance to the lake with a beautiful walking trail along the lake. Also enjoyed the close proximity to the Como conservatory and zoo. This place was a great value, clean, and with wonderful hosts. The checkin and communication were easy!

    Jenn2018-06-21T00:00:00Z
  • I've stayed twice now at Alec's Airbnb and he has been a terrific host. His communication was very prompt and timely, his space very clean and tidy, and the location unbeatable!

  • Quick responses. accurate address and easy to find. The hosts were helpful in introducing the area and very easy going people. The room was recently done so everything about it is new, modernized and very clean. Would deffinitely stay there again in the future(:

  • Alec and Erin were very accommodating. We came in late and left early and they were so flexible. Very clean, comfortable bed, great shower.

  • I’m not going to say “wow” but...WOW! Such an amazing time here. Alec was a wonderful host, super responsive with communication and prepared a wonderful place for me to stay during my trip to St Paul. I will be back for sure!!

    Bryce2017-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • Alec and his wife, Erin, are beyond nice. They communicate throughout the process and are very thorough throughout. They treat you like they have known you for 30 years. The place is newly renovated as of April 2019. It is clean, trendy, modern and nothing is lacking. I have nothing negative to say.

Find yourself at home and in luxury at this cozy Unit only 1 Mile from DT Saint Paul. With its own access and amenities you will have everything you need. There is a Full Gym Right next door that you have access to that includes a sauna and all the things you need to get a great workout. I am also available as a resource to exploring the city. Feel free to ask me anything that can help you with your stay. Both bedrooms , bathrooms, kitchen and living room are all on one floor.
Comfy beds, easy access to freeways an Light rail , wi fi, everything You need with a great host for help. I purchased this house 7 years ago and renting out the unit I have lived in. This unit and house have been completely redone. Down to the studs in my unit everything is new. I don’t smoke nor is there smoking allowed in the house. I’ve never had pets in there and have made things very comfortable. The unit includes a loft feel with the perks of a fish tank in the wall between the living room and master bed. I installed a 2000 jacuzzi and a $10k granite surround for an ultimate room of zen. The unit has easy access to the porch and private entry in the back. It also provides a half bath between the kitchen and living room. Laminate floors and in unit washer and dryer make for comfortable stay. There is a loft upstairs that has a small extra bedroom(3rd) and an office. There is really no need to go up there if you don’t want but it is there if you’d like. Railing finished and loft stairs. There have been a couple picky people pointing things out about cleanliness. We have a cleaning lady now and it is gone through after each stay. Also the gym pictures are showing access to a full gym business that I own in the building next to where you stay. It’s about 1500 sq ft and offers all the resources of a gym. Cardio machines, sauna, free weights and machines. The unique part of my gym is that the screens offer guided workouts each day. Updated 8/15/18
I moved to this house 8 years ago and haven’t had any issues with the neighborhood. It is called Northend and is directly north of the city, you can actually see the state capital from the upstairs window. It is a middle to low income class neighborhood. I own the brick building on the corner and the house that has the unit in it. They appraise at about 300k each. We are 1 mile from very high end neighborhoods such as cathedral hill and como . The location is very strategic and in the middle of everything. Easy to Uber anywhere Dt St. Paul for not over $8 a lot of times under 5. I own the parking lot in back for one parking spot and all of my tenants are great. I also know all of my neighbors. While there are no Starbucks on the corner this location offers a lot of value. Updated 8/15/18
  • Poorly maintained with an absent host. The jets in the hot tub don't work, neither do the heated floors in the bathroom, and the cables on the left are falling apart. There were stains on the carpet and furniture and unidentified grime (mold?) on the refrigerator and shower. No one has lived here in quite a while and the lack of thought and care show. We were very disappointed and ended our trip to Minneapolis early because of the poor condition of our living arrangements. Very unfortunate, as you can see this could be a beautiful space if someone cared for it.

    Kayla2019-06-03T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment honestly wasn't the cleanest. Felt like the last renters just left and it wasn't prepared for us. The apartment also had a pretty bad smoke smell. The tub requires 1.5 hours to run enough hot water, but is nice when you get to it. Needs a good cleaning and updated decor. Overall not our fave.

    Amber2019-04-09T00:00:00Z
  • This is an amazing place to stay.. I will refer friends and family.

    Precious2019-03-23T00:00:00Z
  • This isn’t a Luxury stay it’s a normal 2 bed Apt the place looks nice but nothing really works the Stove has an eye that doesn’t work with the knob just coming right off. He has mice traps in the kitchen with dirty dishes and A LOT Of expired food dating all the way back to 2006, Also the tub doesn’t work the stopper doesn’t stay down, the water doesn’t stay hot after 10 mins it starts running cold the knob to turn the hot water on is also broken the grill doesn’t even work first off only 1 section of the grill will even fire up and to get it lit we had to light a piece of paper and throw it on the grill it won’t even fire up you will only smell gas with no flame unless you do something like that. The stay wasn’t worth my $500 at all hard to enjoy yourself with newborns and grandmas under you anyways I wouldn’t recommend to anyone who wants to have a good time Tbh

  • The best air bnb yet so cozy and clean, Greg was so helpful in any concern I had. The place was comfortable and getting caught in a thunder storm in it was awesome. I did use the gym it was perfect and had everything I needed

  • my husband and I wanted a refreshing night away from our toddlers, and messy home and walking into Greg's place was literally a breath of fresh air. Our stay was an absolute oasis....the care he took in making the place cozy, super clean, - we HIGHLY recommend any one to stay here! lovely, cozy home that he clearly put a lot of time, effort and heart into making it a very special place to stay. we plan to return for another night away. Not to mention the jacuzzi tub is an excellent touch and big fish tank had a real calming effect!

  • Great modern apartment. Fun local bar downstairs, bartender stayed open just for us one night.

  • This is a nice place above the Nickel Joint. Bin and his brother are absolutely fantastic hosts. The location below is a fun neighborhood bar that closes at a decent hour. The apartment itself is second to none with a chefs kitchen and spa like bath. Highly recommend for visiting the area.

    Rob2018-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome location for attendance to the Minnesota State Fair, downtown St. Paul/state capitol building and Como Zoo and only a 20 min drive to downtown Minneapolis and the Mall of America. Our host was awesome! And the flat didn't disappoint. There was loud music downstairs at night but it did not affect us whatsoever, it falls away into a dim humm in the bedrooms which is awesome! We also quite enjoyed going down and having a drink in the neighborhood Nickel Joint. For the price you pay the quality was on point. Would definitely stay here again.

  • My husband and I stayed here for a couple of nights during Super Bowl weekend. This was a great Airbnb! The space is newly renovated, very spacious, everything is new, very comfortable beds and bedding, super clean, ample amount of towels and we felt at home. Check in was easy and they were very responsive to any questions. I would highly recommend staying here! There’s also an awesome little neighborhood bar downstairs!

    Andrea2018-02-05T00:00:00Z
  • Easy check in/check out. Nice apartment, but book with caution if you are staying on a weekend - the bar music was very audible and loud, making it difficult to sleep.

    Lindsey2018-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • Place is accurately described in listing. Good location, easy to find and exactly what we needed.

    Emily2019-02-03T00:00:00Z

    Ameris2018-04-14T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed at this location for a convention in St. Paul We had four persons total in our group it was comfortable sleeping arrangements and a beautiful newly renovated apartment. The neighborhood is a bit rough for this small town girl, but we did not have any negative experiences. Checking in and out was very convenient we just picked up and dropped off the keys with the bar downstairs. We did not sleep well due to loud music from the bar all night but I think if you are going to be out at night this is a very nice location to stay.

  • Booked this last minute and got pre-approved right away! Ha was very patient as we worked out the details. Communication was on point throughout the reservation process, check-in, stay, and check-out. The place was vintage, well-maintained, and sparkling clean! We were cognizant of quiet hours and the number of guests, and communicated all updates to Ha. He was very flexible. We checked out after the cleaning lady got there (with Ha's permission), and she too was very friendly. An all around nice stay & a good bang for your buck!

Hotter than hot hot water in the shower, made for perfect wake up. Extended our stay, just couldn't bring ourselves to leave this comfortable home. Would book again in a heart beat!

  • We were in town for a reunion, and this place is great for families! Anthony and his wife have two small kids, so their house was ready for our 21mo old kiddo! There were 2 cribs, a high chair, some toddler toys, baby gates, and even some food in the fridge! Our extended family (5 adults and 1 toddler) had a great time!

    Scott2019-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • Anthony's place was great for our travel needs. His place is very clean and comfortable. Anthony was a great host very personable and great at responding. I would recommend stay with Anthony during your travels.

  • Great place to stay. We stayed for 14 days during the MN State Fair. We had a short quick comute to & from the Fair. Very comfortable. Nice to have a good washer & dryer.

  • Home-y, comfortable and clean.

    LaVonne2019-06-24T00:00:00Z
  • We rented the house for our family and adult children to attend a wedding nearby in St Paul. For us, the location was ideal because it was about 10 minutes from the bride and groom's home, and about 7 minutes from the wedding venue which was a park. It was also about 10 minutes from all the downtown activity, including museums and restaurants that we wanted to go to with the family. Getting to the house itself was very easy -- it's literally just off the Interstate. So, within a day we were familiar with how to get on and off the main highways to get to different places.

    Amir2018-06-17T00:00:00Z
  • This house was amazing! I loved the decor and the at home feel. Anthony and his wife was so thoughtful. The home was very spacious, the bedrooms were very nice and the beds were so comfortable! Anthony was very thoughtful of a question I asked him and made a special arrangement for me. He extended me a late check-out! If I'm here next year I will most definitely be back!

    Angela2019-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • Anthony, we wanted to thank you so very much for the stay. The house was in fantastic shape and we appreciate the little things like the toiletries. This is our first time staying at a place like this and it was a great experience. Again, thank you very much and what a great place to stay!

  • The place is exceptionally clean right when you walk in and in a great neighborhood really close to a nice running/walking trail around Lake Como. Perfect location for going to the fair and close enough to just about anything you might be looking to do in the Twin Cities. Ben responds to messages quickly and overall the experience was excellent.

  • A nice two bedroom basement with a private entrance. Was only there briefly, but it was clean and everything we expected. Second bed in an air mattress, but a high quality one. Overall a positive experience.

    Eric2019-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • Benjamin was an excellent host, he was very responsive to all communications. Nice rooms in his basement. Bedroom and living room had doors for privacy. Second bed is a pull out couch and a single mattress can be used also. He also has a blow up mattress which we didn't use. The bathroom is huge and very nice. Great place to stay if you are attending the fair. Thanks Benjamin!

  • We were pretty disappointed when we walked in the door. Not that the description of the house was off....it just reeked of a large amount of pot that was partook of at some point before we got there (in communicating with Greg he said the renters before us was the reason for that). We did find some residue and fortunately found it before our two year old daughter found it herself! The floors were extremely dirty as well. We found out after looking at our daughters feet after she was moving about the house. They were completely black! Greg answered us very quickly and even came to the house the next day to mop the floor while we were gone. We saw he had another property and asked him if that was available and he said we could use it if we wanted to. I would have given TWO STARS if Greg didn’t reply promptly to our messages. The property had many good ratings so maybe this was an “off day”, I don’t know. We just felt uncomfortable and caught between a rock and a hard place....stay there and continue to feel uncomfortable or spend an extra $300-500 for two nights in a hotel and lose the $$ we spend on this place. Unfortunately this is one place we will not be renting when we come back to visit Minneapolis :(

Charming home with tons of space! Perfect for a family or group of friends in town for a vacation, wedding, sports weekend, etc... Newly built and full of all amenities needed to give you peace of mind for a comfortable stay. The house is just one block from a local bus line connecting both Minneapolis and St. Paul downtowns. It's also only an easy two mile drive to hop on the light rail with easy and direct access to U.S. Bank Stadium, Target Field, Xcel Energy Center, TCF Stadium and more!
With 3,000 square feet, the house has everything you may need: a private backyard, huge deck for summer-time grilling, well-stocked kitchen, living room, family room, and more. Upstairs has a guest bedroom and a study that can easily convert to accommodating more overnight guests that share a full bathroom. For a little more space, there is a basement bedroom as well in addition to a family room that converts into sleeping areas with a sleeper sofa and portable twin mattress. All your needs should be covered for whatever the duration of your stay including television for entertainment, washer/dryer for laundry, and backyard for warm weather fun.
Nestled within a neighborhood, the house has a quaint and friendly vibe usually found in a suburb yet close to both metropolitan areas. Downtown St. Paul is only a ten minute drive and downtown Minneapolis is just fifteen minutes away. Como Park is a casual bike ride away with a lake, zoo, conservatory, golf course, and more.
  • Wonderful place. Clean, accommodating, and decent area. The coffee shop on the corner looked out of business which would have been nice to see open but other then that great place!

  • We loved Ben and Bekah's place. It is spacious, clean, and pretty. They had enough rooms for all 7 of us. There was also a lot of space for relaxing and interacting. They were very prompt in responding to my emails and they had everything well organized when we got to their place. They had a binder on where we could go for restaurants and on touristy places that we could visit.

My house is between twins city, two blocks away from bus station and food court. It is very convenient for tourist. Especially, it's one block away from school so it is a safe place with tennis court, football and baseball court.
Enjoy your private spacious bedroom. You are also welcome to any of our common spaces in the house. Our house is close to Cub food, Mc Donald’s, restaurants and 2 minutes to Public park by foot (tennis court, soccer yard). Relax outside? We have coffee table at the balcony. You can enjoy your fresh air in the morning We have no pets in house
There are many restaurants, fastfood around this area

    G2019-02-04T00:00:00Z
  • Staying here for two nights with my significant other for a weekend trip to St.Paul/Minneapolis. One of the cheapest options for the general area we wished to stay. The home is nice from the exterior and has your basic necessities indoors. Good for a place to just come in and out and to sleep. We stayed in the large spacious room upstairs in the attic. The mattress is on the floor and the pillows provided are more for decor than sleep. Suggest bringing your own pillows and blankets as the ones provided are scarce. There doesn't seem to be any central air, so we had the window cracked open. Unfortunately, this led to finding many bugs in the room (which we simply released outside and closed the window from then on out). Nguyen and Victor are lovely hosts, keeping to themselves and welcoming people into their own home. Their toddler (Gin) is so so sweet and will follow you around in the common areas. We had to ask for towels as they were not immediately provided. Appears to be one bathroom in the home that is shared between residents and guests. Access into the home was simple as door was left open for us - couple stays up late and waits for guests to get back before locking the home. All in all the stay was acceptable but nothing above and beyond. I felt I was in someones personal home that was very genuine and not necessarily "made-up" for guests or for show, as most airbnbs are. Minor issues with wifi arose that were fixed immediately. Any questions we had Nguyen or Victor were available to answer. The couple, their family and home were authentic and well intended. Great value for the stay. A bed is all we needed, and a bed is what we received. As expected. Thank you for welcoming us into your home!

  • Awesome place and better people. Would recomend to anyone.

    Erik2017-10-15T00:00:00Z
  • Disregard my rating here: I’m a fellow Airbnb host, and I just never rate a place less than five stars because on Airbnb 5 stars = good and anything under 5 stars = bad when it comes to search engine optimization. This is not by any stretch of the imagination a five-star listing; I would only recommend it for 1-2 travelers (absolute max of two), and you’d best be pretty well-traveled and worldly, because this place is unlike anything any novice American has likely experienced. There is no self check-in, hosts cannot be expected to accommodate an early or short notice check-in time, and shoes are expected to come off at the door and stay off while you’re in the home. This can be tricky, as you are unlikely to especially want to go on to the porch/front door area prior to putting your shoes on as it was quite cluttered and congested. The stairs are very tight & low; I am 6’2”, and I had to contort to clear the doorway coming downstairs. The room is a refinished attic, and it shows: There is only the very minimum of decor/furniture upstairs, including a mattress directly on the floor. I suspect getting a box spring up those stairs is just about impossible, so don’t hold that against them. The window A/C unit worked well; it was a very humid couple of days in the high 80s during my stay, but the window unit cooled the room off quick. Not sure if the TV worked in the room worked or had any cable/streaming options, didn’t look particularly encouraging. WiFi was good. Room front door locked but was pretty finicky. There is NO private bathroom, and the bathroom that is available is all the way downstairs and across the house, which is the main reason I’d recommend against more than one person booking this place, and probably only a male traveler at that since they have at least one other room that they also Airbnb. This makes it an extremely challenging option for a business traveler, such as myself. They also issued me one towel for a two-night stay, so if you’re particular about that sort of thing, be advised. The room did have ample hangers and space in general, and the room itself was quiet and clean. This place is definitely bare bones and not at all for the faint of heart (you walk up a muddy driveway full of cars, loose tools, kids toys, etc.), but the fact remains that these guys offer an extremely budget-friendly option in a part of the Twin Cities that currently has very few options for places to stay. This place offers a good value - provided you seriously adjust your expectations, as you should.

  • Nice couple eager to be good AirBnb hosts. I got there on a weekend on the later side and they were nice enough to invite me to sing karaoke with them + 2 friends. Air conditioner is available in room. I was offered some granola bars the next morning. Wifi was not working at the time so host was gracious enough to give me his cell phone to use as a hotspot and also give me some links of things to do in the area. Thanks!

The room is about 8x9, one window, 9 ft ceilings, wood floor, walk in closet and very cozy. Twin size bed.
This area is close to everything, three blocks from the green line train which can take you to downtown St. Paul within 15 minutes or downtown Minneapolis in about 20. There's great restaurants, shops, grocery stores and anything else you would need within walking distance.
  • Though my stay at Tatiana's was brief, it was all that I could ask for in a host. The listing was clear and accurate. Check in was quick and easy. All house rules and expectations were clearly articulated. Even when I needed to unexpectedly check out early, she helped to accommodate my request without hassle. I highly recommend her place for anyone needing to stay in that part of Saint Paul.

  • This is a lovely old home with a beautiful yard in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to public transportation to get you anywhere in the city quickly. The hardwood floors creak and sound carries so light sleepers be sure to remember ear plugs. The hosts are friendly and accommodating and the dogs are friendly, curious, and live indoors - a plus for dog people.

    Paige2017-05-31T00:00:00Z
  • If you are young and not used to living in the uncharted rundown parts of town dont stay here. I hardly felt safe biking and wouldnt walk around day or night alone without expecting street harassment. I was treated like a unwanted mother in law and she has a blind and abused ferret and dogs that stink up the place.

    Kaitlin2016-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • Tatiana's house is an amazing place to stay! The decor is lovely, the house is beautiful, and the room is perfect for a few nights for the solo traveler. I felt welcomed and at home, which was just what I needed after a long day of driving. Highly recommend booking here!

    Mariko2016-07-19T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed at Tatiana's house for one month waiting for my apartment to become available. Tatiana and Robert, her roommate, were friendly, easygoing, respectful of my space, and helpful in any way that I needed. The room has an antique look and it's comfortable. They have two dogs that love guests, that's a plus. The house is very close to a train station that goes to downtown St Paul in a matter of minutes, or to Minneapolis. I had a fun stay and recommend them to anyone.

We own a cute house in a quiet neighborhood. You will have full access to the house and our fenced in backyard. We are located near main highways and freeways, and waiting to take you anywhere in the Twin Cities is: the Metro Transit bus stop two blocks away, or the Greenline Light Rail 1.5 miles away. We are just a 10 minute drive from downtown St Paul, and 15 minutes from downtown Minneapolis. Please, no smoking, no loud parties and no pets.
We have 2 bedrooms for guests... the master suite has a king sized bed and the other room has a day bed with a trundle pull-out underneath. People are also welcome to sleep on our comfy sofas in the two living areas. There are one and a half bathrooms. We have one amazingly sweet adult cat that lives there and will be there during your stay, so please take caution if you have allergies... we are not responsible for any health issues that take place during your stay in association with our animals. You will not be responsible for the care of the cat, unless you are doubling the length of your stay.
