  • This place is an 11/10. Plain and Simple

  • Amazing place to stay. It was clean, comfortable, and exactly as advertised. I would highly recommend this place.

  • Beautifully remodeled apartment suite right along the bourbon trail. The pictures didnt do it justice! David was very responsive and helpful. Would definitely recommend!

  • Sprit on Main is a great choice while visiting the Bourbon Trail! The space was stylish, open, quiet, homey and well done. We truly enjoyed making it our home base visiting a few of the local distilleries (be sure to hit the smaller ones too like Limestone that is just down the road). Right on the heart of main street with many restaurant options around and a grocery store just down the way if you want to cook using the full kitchen. Easy, free parking and quick/easy check in and David was a great host. Get in the "spirit" -- you won't be disappointed!

    Aimee2018-05-15T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent location for Maker’s Mark and the Bourbon Trail. Easy to find, excellent communication with check-in and the door code. Appears to be brand new and remodeled, so extremely clean. Will absolutely stay at again when back in the area and would recommend to anyone!

    Jonathan2017-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • Spirit on Main - what can I say. When we walked in, we were surprised at how spacious the apartment was. We loved the bourbon related decor which was a very thoughtful nod to the region. The bed was super soft and comfy and the sofas were also big and comfy. We didn't use the kitchen much but if we stayed longer, it would have been great to cook in. It was a great quick stay and when we're in the area again, we'll definitely look to stay here again.

    Marisela2019-09-20T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing stay. Will definitely use again when we return to do the bourbon trail in its entirety. Highly recommend.

    * LOCATED RIGHT ON THE BOURBON TRAIL * At the Barrel Head bed, we strive to make our guest feel as comfortable as possible. This location has been newly remodeled and furnished; a brand new queen size bed, pull out sofa, and coffee bar ensure that you are getting the sleep and energy you need for all of your endeavors while staying on the Bourbon Trail. The Barrel Head is also handicap accessible. There are not any steps, and we have installed a walk in shower for anyone in a wheel chair.
The Barrel Head is located directly in the middle of the Bourbon Trail. Maker's Mark Distillery is a quick 3 minute drive away, and the five star rated Limestone Branch Distillery is 10 minutes away. Jester's Winery and cafe is also right down the road from the bed breakfast. You can also find a surplus of other distillerys located 30 miles or less from this location; a couple of these include Heaven Hill and Jim Beam Distillery. • Fantastic place to stay. The space was cute, clean, and super convenient for bourbon touring. We highly recommend it!

    Eleni2019-07-13T00:00:00Z
  • The pictures on the site does not do the place justice. It is an annex to a double detached garage located across a gorgeous view of the Kentuky rolling hills. The renovation of the apartment was done with care and good materials, all in neutral colors and decorated simply and elegantly enough to fit anyones taste. We really felt at home. The open floor dinning, kitchen, living room space is very comfy, elegant, simple and clean. You have all the utensils, glass, kitchen equipment you need. The coffee station is great. The bedroom is really spa like (The whole place is like a spa). The colors are perfect for relaxation and the bed is absolutely wonderful. The room is big enought to walk comfortably around the bed the closet spacious and the bathroom located across a wide hallway from the bedroom is also great and big. The shower is espacious (no tub) and handicap accessible. The lighting here is perfect every where and the windows are placed to allow you to see the rolling hills from every location. It is about 4 minutes from the Maker's Mark distillery and a few minutes from a barrell making company that offers tours. There are two large T.Vs and plenty of bedding to accomodate a family. Bottom line we loved it's privacy and comfort. There where plenty of snacks for the two of us. Kim was available to us when needed. We would return here every time. Stay longer if you can arrange things to do. This is a good central location for an extended break. Not too far from Louisville, Mt Washington. Elizabethtown, Hodgenville and all their attractions.

    Italia2019-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay! Only 5 minutes from the makers mark distillery and very accommodating!

  • This place is out of this world. It’s literally located on a farm. I’ve never stayed anywhere more beautiful. 100% on the clean scale and decorated adorably!!

    Melissa2019-05-24T00:00:00Z
  • We were closing out our bourbon trail tour with Maker's Mark and needed a place to relax for the night and this space was perfect! Only 3 mins away from Maker's Mark, very quiet + comfy, and a binder with plenty of recommendations of places to grab a bite/other activities nearby. Breakfast snacks were a great addition to get our next morning started off on the right foot! Wish we stayed for more than 1 night to explore more.

    Veronica2019-06-27T00:00:00Z

Enjoy your stay with us, in this stunning 160 year old home. You can admire and appreciate the Italianate architecture while having the comfort of modern amenities. Located in the heart of Kentucky, our place is perfect for families, couples or individuals on business.
The front lower level of the house is used as a wedding business (ran by my husband and myself), and is closed off to guests. This business is open by appointment only and it is rare that we would be there at the same time as guests. If you would like a tour of the remaining space please just let us know and we are happy to let you in and show you around!
We are located right in downtown Lebanon, within walking distance of several restaurants, including Hennings, Chasers, Sandy's Sweet Shop and McDonalds. We are on the Bourbon Trail and only 10 miles away from Maker's Mark Distillery.
  • Gorgeous facility in a picturesque town. Lovingly restored mansion home, guest rooms are on the top floor with lots of steps. But once you get there, WOW. Huge rooms & a massive sitting area. Access to modern kitchen on ground floor. Beautiful & comfortable and so many lovely, thoughtful touches. A treat!

The home is on a 3rd generation family farm. The decor is all country related and most is original to the house. It was a dairy farm until recently, but we now raise beef cattle which you can see grazing from the front or back porch. It's still actively worked so my husband will be on a tractor doing something almost every day. Lebanon is located in the heart of KY and within 30 minutes of various distilleries along the Bourbon Trail. We are 15 minutes from the famous Maker's Mark Distillery.
It's an older home but has all been completely remodeled by me over a 3 year span. I hope you can appreciate how special this home is.
You will be on a farm in a very private space. You will hear cows mooing during the day & coyotes howling at night. Deer are everywhere so if you make the 5 minute trip to town you will need to drive carefully. They are always grazing in the soybean & corn fields along the road.
  • A stay at the farmhouse will be one of your most enjoyable experiences! The setting is breathtaking and peaceful. The farmhouse is welcoming, warm and intriguing with all of its unique decor which is not only fascinating, but also fun. The hosts are lovely, helpful and keep an amazing clean home which will meet all of your needs! Can’t wait to go back!!

  • First I'll say I'm excited to leave a review for the Maple hill manor. The generous hospitality made us feel welcomed right away. Everything was so wonderful and Robert made sure everything was as perfect as we could imagine it to be. Upon arriving to such beautiful scenery, Robert welcomed us and offered to help with our bags. The grounds are spectacular, the livestock is so cool to see "alpaca are so goofy sometimes". My girlfriend was greeted by the friendly horse and she was all smiles after the got to pet Penny's head, " that's the horse". Robert prepared a pie at night and in the morning breakfast was perfectly done. Well done Maple Hill Manor and staff, we do hope to see you again.

  • Lisa was a great host. She gave us lots of recommendations for places to eat and things to do. The bungalow was cozy and perfect for just the two of us. The back porch was fantastic for morning coffees and evening nightcaps.

    Sara2016-06-28T00:00:00Z
  • This place was wonderful. She had everything we needed and offered a good suggestion for a food place. She was very accommodating and kind when we were having difficulties with the internet. It was also in a very nice area and the town is quiet. Our favorite part was sitting on the back porch at night looking up at all the stars. I would recommend this place to anyone.

    Clay2017-10-15T00:00:00Z
  • Lisa is a great host. She interacts enough that you feel welcomed and know she is there if you need her but, she respects your privacy. The back porch overlooks the countryside and is a nice place to sit and relax.

  • This is the greatest country stay in my opinion. We had 6 adults and our 2 year old son for a mini weekend getaway. We did two bourbon tours and drove to Mammoth Cave National Park. The scenery and location of the house was spectacular. We spent our first night sitting on the front porch watch the thunderstorm move in, the next night we ate dinner in the yard just enjoying the nature. Later that evening we listened to the cattle in the distance and some coyotes in the distance as well. This location exceeded our expectations and the grounds made for some awesome picture taking. Can’t say thank you enough to Caron she answered any questions we had very quickly! We are thinking about coming down again in the future and will keep Caron’s place in mind. Great memories were made this weekend

    Michael2019-06-23T00:00:00Z
  • I CANNOT say enough good things about this home. Caron went above and beyond to accommodate our large group. We rented all three of her homes on this property and had a wonderful time celebrating my husbands 40th birthday and touring bourbon country. She also catered an amazing dinner for the first night of our arrival. The homes is located on one of the prettiest roads in Kentucky and the views surrounding the home are stunning. We loved sitting on the porch and enjoying the peacefulness of this place. Hope to get time to return one day!

  • This was an absolutely fantastic place to visit! The house is gorgeous and set out in the country, so you get plenty of peace and quiet to relax. Caron is an amazing host, willing to show us around and tell us about the farm and her animals. My daughters loved exploring the barns and meeting the animals. Highly recommend this listing if you're looking to relax and recharge. Definitely will be looking to do this again in the future.

Welcome to Lebanon Suites. We are located in historical downtown Lebanon, Kentucky. We have practically everything in our facility to make your stay here as pleasant and comfortable as possible. Our goal is to be your "Home Away From Home." A stroll down the street will get you to all the downtown attractions, restaurants and commercial businesses, and we are situated just 10 miles away from Makers Mark Distillery.
  • The suite was very spacious and comfortable. So much so that we slept over 10 hours, first time I've done that in years. We didn't have time to enjoy the workout facilities and sauna, but it was a nice option. Great golf courses nearby and a good resting spot for the Bourbon Trail. Also enjoyed late night cocktail and amazing dessert at the County Seat restaurant within walking distance. We had a full kitchen and used it to cook a nice meal. There is a washer and dryer in the suite and lots of storage space, but bring your own detergent for the washer and the dishwasher. There is a drip coffee maker, no Keurig which is fine with us. You could stay here a long time and be very comfortable. You will want to bring breakfast food along as there is no place nearby to eat breakfast other than fast food. However Walmart and Kroger are both not far away. Hostess was very accommodating.

    Leslie2017-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • The host, Sue, was accommodating and always available to answer any questions leading up to and during our stay. The suite and building were clean, comfortable and exceeded our expectations. With such close proximity to Makers Mark distillery the Lebanon Suites was a pleasant surprise to accompany a restful weekend getaway.

    Bryan2017-10-08T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice space, quiet even though its above a gym! We didn't hear any noise at all. #225 is a beautifully done apartment all needs included. Full kitchen, pots and pans, even a washer dryer combo in the huge master walk in closet. This is an excellent place to stay! The only negative think I could possibly say is that you must be able to walk up stairs. Other than that, this is an excellent property! Would be ideal to rent the whole floor out and have wedding party stay there. Great great space.

Imagine yourself sitting on the porch with your cup of coffee looking out at white tail deer grazing in the morning. Take a hike on one of the many trails right outside your door. Trek the bourbon trail, historic churches and landmarks of Lebanon or Bardstown, Shaker Village, Lexington where you will find the historic Keeneland race course, or go to Louisville and see Churchill Downs. You may just want to relax and enjoy farm living at its best. What ever you want we hope to see you on the farm.
You are in the middle of a 2500 acre farm surrounded by knob woodland. A perfect get away for family and friends. Wide open space with no neighbors except wildlife. Cross a very small creek and onto a gravel driveway to get to your "tucked away" retreat. Sit by the fire pit and enjoy star gazing. Come explore farm living at its best.
Lebanon is 7 miles away with Makers Mark, cooperage, shops, and restaurants. Bardstown is 28 miles away for the start of the Bourbon trail. Many Historic places to visit like Shaker Village in Harrodsburg 30 miles away, Perryville battle field 18 miles, Louisville and Lexington are 65 miles.
  • The house is great. We had 3 couples and there were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. There is a master bedroom on the main level and a master bath and 1 other full bathroom. The downstairs has 3 bedrooms and 1 full bath. One of the couples slept downstairs and used one of the bathrooms upstairs. The road is a bit rough so if you decide to stay here, I wouldn't drive a low lying sports car. The kitchen is fully equipped and the Fridge has a built-in ice and water dispenser on the door. There is a great dining table and there were enough chairs for everyone to sit out on the deck. The only negative was a slight musty odor in the lower level. Overall, we had a great time and would go back again.

  • This get-a-way is highly recommended for spaciousness, cleanliness, and a lovely remote location. Comfy beds and furniture including ample outside porch space. Caren thoughtfully brought out a small Christmas tree in April because we had indicated that this was our "family Christmas together time." I also had a chance to bottle feed a baby calf! Only concern was that two of three cell phone providers we had were unable to process data or provide navigation in the area. Caren was willing to share use of her personal wi fi if needed, and phones worked for calls and basic texts.

  • This place is beautifully updated. Caron is a wonderful host and being out in the country was fun! Highly recommend staying at any of Caron’s properties.

  • This was an oasis at the end of a long journey. This is real Kentucky living minus the farming. The house was clean, fresh and very well equipped with everything we need. Caron was a phone call away. We were running from hurricane Irma but my son was coming anyway on that Sunday anyway for the whiskey festival which made the whole adventure even better. We were very pleasantly surprised Thanks Caron for EVERYTHING Lee

  • Amazing place to stay. Perfectly fit our large group and was such a relaxing, private location. We spent a lot of time on the big porch, explored the woods, had a bonfire... it couldn't have been better. Clean, cute, and welcoming. Great communication with the host. Definitely recommend.

  • Caron's place is an absolute gem! If you want privacy and lots of space in the woods this place is for you. The house is in great condition, every bedroom has personal touches that make it feel like home. Open spaces make a great for family get togethers. The deck on the house makes it a nice place to hangout and enjoy the stars. Fire pit included and dog friendly!

  • Caron is a warm and welcoming host, easy to reach and full of information on the local things to do and see. The house itself is spotlessly clean, pleasant, but not fussy, decor, very comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped and since this is a secluded location, eating out is not so easy. You should be aware that you reach the house via a rock road and the fording of a very small creek. After the first time, no worries. However, the location is so beautiful that grilling there and eating on the deck or inside with a view into the trees is the perfect stress reliever. We loved everything about our stay with Caron.

  • A group of friends and family stayed here for the Kentucky Derby. While we initially wanted something closer, we found Caron's listing and were sold (the drive was really easy). Caron was very nice and easy to work with, and we felt comfortable knowing she was close by if we needed anything. The house can easily sleep 12 people (4 on couches) and all beds and couches were VERY comfortable! The entire top floor of the house had recently been redone and is beautiful. The kitchen is great for large groups, as we hung out there most of the time. We even went on a hike as a group! The property has so much room, including a fire pit, grill and beautiful porch. I would highly recommend!

  • I had such a wonderful relaxing stay with Victor and Esther. They went out of their way to make me feel like a welcomed guest in their beautiful home and property! The breakfast and conversations we had were such a highlight and the antique decor was so lovely. It feels like home from , "Hello". Thanks again for a wonderful and comfortable stay, and hope to be back soon! :-)

  • We had such a fantastic time! Victor and Esther were so welcoming and warm...they provided a truly wonderful Kentucky experience! The plantation home (built in 1803) was absolutely beautiful with gorgeous views of the countryside. We had the whole top floor/upstairs to ourselves! It was so relaxing...we loved taking morning and evening strolls, and sitting (rocking chairs!) on the patio looking out into the pasture. We even got the opportunity to feed and pet the horses. We absolutely loved it!!...And so appreciate Victor and Esther for hospitality...and the delicious home cooked breakfast that was provided every morning!

  • When looking for a place to stay for our trip to the Kentucky Derby, we wanted more of an experience than a room...and we got just that and more from our wonderful hosts Victor and Esther. They were extremely welcoming, provided excellent recommendations for dining and personally gave us a tour of the area and local museum. The conversations were endless as we bonded during delicious, home-cooked breakfasts and late-night beverages. We learned and appreciated the historical aspects of the home, as well as the surroundings. Our accommodations included a very large bedroom (the Hamilton) and large bathroom down the hall. The bed was extremely comfortable and we slept so well. With full access to the home and property, it was nice to take in the outdoors as well as enjoy some peace and quiet to read. What a treasure this "old Kentucky home" is...and our hosts embody true Southern Hospitality. We're already planning a return trip.

  • Fantastic! This gorgeous home is inviting and classic without paralyzing you with fear of breaking something expensive or irreplaceable. Breakfast was fantastic and the owners were so welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. We can't wait to go back!

  • Lovely historic home in midst of Bourbon Trail and within 1 hour of Louisville, Frankfort, or Lexington. Do be aware that this isn’t a typical bed and breakfast—it is very much like renting a room in someone’s home. We knew this going into it and didn’t mind it. Vic and Esther are incredibly friendly and accommodating. A great visit!

  • Beautiful property and excellent hospitality. Victor and Esther are a fun pair and go out of their way to accommodate you.

  • My wife and I stayed here with Victor and Esther to use their home as a launching pad to catch the eclipse. First thing I noticed was that Victor did not raise his price to cash in on the event. We both had a great time with the hosts and would not hesitate to stay with them again. Esther did a fine job with breakfast and the local town, Springfield, had enough food choices to satisfy us. A concern I did have was air conditioning. I was happy to find out that they had central air and they kept it at a very comfortable temperature. Victor's passions are music and literature so if you have a desire talk those subjects he is your man. Great breakfasts, beautiful home, great couple....A+

They helped with every need we had, and our rooms and beds for our family of 6 travelers were so comfortable, spacious, and delightful.
