Dove’s Perch is wrapped in a soothing lavender color and furnished with Great Uncle Everett’s bedroom set. Uncle Everett loved to take photos and a sampling of images he captured, along with his old Brownie camera, are on display. Dove’s Perch has a comfortable queen bed with a memory foam top for a wonderfully restful sleep. The shared full bathroom (with neighboring room) has a shower and bathtub. A well-lit vanity offers drawer space appointed to each room for personal toiletries.
Robin’s Nest is a petite bed and breakfast expressly designed to be casually relaxed and personable. It is infused with sprightly color and eclectically furnished with family heirlooms to blend a touch of nostalgia with contemporary comfort and convenience. The home was built in 2006 and renovated in 2017 to ensure our guests have a completely enjoyable experience. Upstairs, we have three unique guest rooms that are somewhat defined by the keepsakes displayed in them. Downstairs, the common room with it’s open floor plan serves as a breakfast area, a sitting room with fireplace and a kitchen. It is banked by large picture windows overlooking a secluded yard – great for watching the crazy antics of squirrels and birds as they vie for space at the feeders. Lodgers are invited to begin their day here with richly brewed coffee, a selection of tea and juices and a healthy buffet of fresh and dried fruits, nuts, granola, cage free organic hard boiled eggs, English muffins and organic low-fat yogurt. On summer mornings, guests can soak up the sun and sweet fragrance of flowers in the garden and at the end of the day relax with a glass of wine on the deck. In the fall and winter months, they might laze in the quiet seclusion of their room or toast by a cozy bon fire outside. L#011868
Robin's Nest is in a sunny area on top of Castle Hill, near the century old and reportedly haunted Manresa Castle. It's a short walk to see some wonderful views of the Port Townsend's historical skyline, and a five-minute drive to the heart of up-town, down-town, all local events, marinas, trails and everything else the area has to offer.

What IS it, about a periwinkle house? Your private room is in this light and open, peaceful home on a quiet street in Port Townsend, approximately 30-40 minutes walk from historic downtown. It is tucked in by the blackberries, wild roses and fir trees, next to one of PT's walking trails.
I love meeting travelers! Even if you're just popping up to Port Townsend from Seattle, everyone always has a story, and a lens on life that broadens my own. Welcome to my home. The house is located in what I call "the suburbs" of Port Townsend: not Uptown, not Downtown, but atop one of the first hills as you're heading away from each. It's about a 5 minute drive - or a 30-40 minute walk to downtown. Your room is peaceful and calm -- the kind that makes you exhale when you walk in. The knotty pine doors, simple rocking chair, a wee bit of art, and a fluffy blue duvet invite you to slow down, snuggle in to your queen-sized bed, and relax (don't be thrown off -- sometimes I'll have a sunshine-yellow and white duvet cover on the bed... still inviting, still comfortable). The room-darkening shade makes it easy to sleep-in.... We'll even stop Time for you -- pausing the pendulum on the old kitchen clock, leaving it silent, while you sleep. In order to create a space where you can get away from the trappings of modern life, there is no TV, but feel free to access the wi-fi to watch movies on your laptop using headphones. (I tend to turn off the wi-fi late at night, for better dreaming... but it'll be back on, in the morning!) I enjoy getting to know my guests, so please feel welcome to enjoy the main living areas of house. In the summer months, the front porch is a wonderful place to hang out. As you'll see, the garden is a work in progress... deer, bunnies, butterflies and birds are always around - it gets a bit Disney-esque around here, and if you don't move too quickly, the deer will glide in and rest on the garden knee-wall, while you're drinking your tea. I think you'll enjoy being here!
The neighborhood is quiet, with easy access to wooded trails. We actually have little kids who play and ride their bicycles in the street (like back in the old days), about a block up the road. In the other direction, at the end of the block, there's a stellar view of Mt. Baker, and out into the straits. Plenty of blackberries to pick in August... and that kind of ease that prompts us to say with a combination of wonder and gratitude, "Wow. We live here."

The studio is great for a romantic getaways because of the the beautiful setting, the view, the water and the spacious area. It is close to Port Townsend, Olympic Peninsula & accessible by bridge! There are parks, art and culture, dining, and tastings nearby and in Port Townsend. Mystery Bay access for paddle-boards, kayaks, etc., right off the property. There is a king-size bed, sitting area, dining table, full kitchen, and separate bathroom with washer/dryer.
The apartment is great for couples. The building has a warm wood interior. And a view of the Oyster/Clam Company and Mystery Bay out the window. There are chairs for sitting near the bank and enjoying the view. The king-size bed is very comfortable and there is a sitting area, a dining table, a full kitchen, and a separate bathroom with washer/dryer. We provide coffee, tea, milk & sweetner & a few other amenities. The QFC grocery store is 15 minutes away, if you want to cook (china, pots and pans included). There is a TV screen w/ HDMI cable (no TV channels). We have recently upgraded the Wifi, but some cell phone service is spotty (we are out on an island). ... NOTE 1: The Guest House has a metal roof which makes some noise as the weather changes. We call it "The Ghost". We provide ear plugs, but no one seems to use them. ... NOTE 2: The property has a "low bank" with direct access to the water and a "high bank", which can be dangerous if you walk to close too the edge. Due to the high bank conditions, we will not accept children under 18 in the Guest House.
You can drive to Marrowstone Island, there is a bridge to Indian Island and a bridge to Marrowstone Island. The property is right next to the Marrowstone Shellfish Co., and just down the street from the old Nordland General Store. Mystery Bay Park is up the road and people love to swim there. There is hiking at Fort Flagler and at different areas around the Island. You'll see boats, kayaks and paddle-boards on Mystery Bay. Tranquil room in Strawbale house located on the outskirts of picturesque Port Townsend approximately 30-40 minutes walk from historic downtown. We live on 3/4 acre with views of Mt. Baker, Mt. Rainer (on a clear day) and Port Townsend Bay. Although we are in the city limits, we feel as though we are out in the country! IF THIS LISTING IS BOOKED WE HAVE ANOTHER LISTING: SUMPTUOUS ROOM IN STRAWBALE HOUSE.
Our hand-built strawbale house is located in lovely Port Townsend and is a 5 minute drive or 30-40 minute walk to downtown. Our little corner room is filled with light and views of Mt. Baker and Port Townsend bay as well as the green field below the house. The two-foot thick walls are hand plastered, lending an organic feel to the room as well as creating a warm and quiet space. Enjoy the 100% wool carpet, cotton sheets and natural linen duvet. In order to create a space where you can get away from the trappings of modern life, there is no TV in the room, but feel free to access our wi-fi to watch movies on your laptop using headphones. Our sweet kitty Tibby will most likely come and visit you as well! We are very social people and love to get to know our guests so please feel welcome to enjoy the rest of the house! The bathroom is just a few steps away across the hall from your room and has a separate shared toilet space. As you will see, our house and property is still a work in progress! There are still unfinished aspects to the house and we have yet to accomplish much outside landscaping due, in part, to a lack of deer fencing. Therefore, anything we plant will get eaten at this point! With this being said, our home is very comfortable and functional and we think you will love being here.
Although we are within the city limits, you will feel as if you are out in the country. Our little lane will take you past a charming neighborhood of houses but our 3/4 acre feels private and serene.

Truly one of a kind character setting just above high tide. Covered porch, well hidden, close up yacht harbor view. Very VINTAGE experience. Not for the spoiled or a remote control setting! It's 1936 here with wifi & dvd, library, two fireplaces, full scale kitchen, Comfortable Italian seating, custom furniture, cotton sheets, quilts. Quick access to sandy beach & downtown. new Stearns & Foster mattress, spa sink, oak floors new Frigidaire. Serene wooded yard, spacious privacy. Recess rocks!
We are often told the cottage possesses other worldliness. A refreshing, uncluttered habitat where relaxing comes easy. If you adore a slower pace. If you are expecting everything you have at home... Thats not our goal or decor.
The neighborhood is ultra contrasting. It can be a cartoon with the kiddie pirates on their way to sailing (URL HIDDEN) a working maritime focal point with a sail loft, rigger and yacht workers as our closest neighbors. The deer stroll by, otter scurry through the yard...two restaurants are across the docks. Two spas are in the other direction and just as close. It all interfaces perfectly as the storybook cottage yard is a spacious treed traffic stopper and cottage is the little charm bracelet on the corner!

You will be housed on the first floor of our home. Directly past the house is your private driveway. You will see the entrance to the guest house from there. In the bedroom is a king sized bed, and there is a couch/futon in the living room area. The two rooms are separated by an open "window" area that closes with wooden blinds. This is fine for people who don't need the privacy of 2 completely closed, separate bedrooms.
Please note that the town speed limit is 25mph. This is for your protection, and for the protection of the deer (and the many fawns) who wander very freely in this town, stepping in front of traffic at any moment. You'll probably notice them foraging for food in the yard.

Sparrow’s Perch sits in a southeast corner, so is drenched in a warm glow of morning sun. Grandma Bertha’s oak vanity is the focal point of the room, topped with her porcelain cosmetics tray. Her favorite reading chair is under the windows. This room has a queen-sized bed with support foam that gently contours the body for an amazing night of sweet sleep. The shared full bathroom has a shower and bathtub.
Our sumptuous room is located in picturesque Port Townsend approximately 30-40 minutes walk from historic downtown. We live on 3/4 acre with views of Mt. Baker, Mt. Rainer (on a clear day) and Port Townsend Bay on the outskirts of Port Townsend. Even though we are in the city limits, we feel as though we are out in the country.
One of the most wonderful aspects of a straw bale house is the sense of safety and quiet that these two foot thick walls provide. The wall surface is stucco and structolite plaster which we troweled on by hand, with the help of our friends and family. The three bay windows provide a lovely territorial view of the trees across the road and of Mt. Baker on a clear day. Our king sized bed is natural latex with cotton sheets and down duvet. The 100% wool carpet feels great on your feet! PLEASE NOTE THAT THE ROOM IS ON THE 2ND FLOOR SO YOU WILL NEED TO BE COMFORTABLE CLIMBING STAIRS.
Although we are within the city limits, you will feel as if you are out in the country. We are on the outskirts of Port Townsend so it is not right 'in town'. Our little lane will take you past a charming neighborhood of houses but our 3/4 acre feels private and serene.
