Brighton & Hove's great pubs and restaurants are all within walking distance, but you get the peace and quiet of our Palmeira Avenue location. LGBT+ very welcome.
Cricket fans may be interested to know that we are a stone's throw from the Sussex Cricket Ground, so ideal if you are attending a match or an event. We are a 30 minute walk or a 15 minute bus ride from Kemp Town's Gay Village. You can be in the centre of town by the Clocktower for Churchill Square, The Lanes, The North Laine plus the museums and the Pavilion in 20 minutes by foot or a short bus ride. There are also 2 bike sharing ranks within a couple of minutes walk of the front door - great for exploring the city and brilliant value. If you smoke, feel free to use the balcony, we don't permit smoking in the flat itself, however. Please ask if you need the use of an iron and we will set it up for you. We offer a simple breakfast - help yourself to tea or coffee, toast, cereal and jams in the kitchen. There are some great cafés/restaurants/coffee shops within walking distance of the flat and we would be very happy to point you in the direction of the ones that we enjoy visiting. The building is quiet and restful, so great for relaxing after a day/evening out. There is an electrical plug converter to UK standard in your room. Parking is not available on site, but there is meter parking on Palmeira Avenue and adjoining streets. There is also a reasonably priced multi-storey car park on Norton Road by the Town Hall which is a 5 minute walk away Wifi, we will give you the access code on arrival.
Palmeira Avenue and surrounding streets is quietly residential, but just a few minutes walk from the city centre so you get the best of both worlds as in just 5 minutes you will find yourself on Western Road which is the main shopping street of Brighton & Hove, there you will find pubs, restaurants, cafés and shops. We are just a few minutes from Hove seafront which you can get to via the beautiful Palmeira Square/Adelaide Crescent Gardens. We are a 15 minute walk into the centre of town or you can get one of the numerous buses that stop in Palmeira Square. If you want to see life at a slightly slower more sedate pace than Brighton, check out Church Road, Hove (the continuation west of Western Road) and you will find many independent shops, cafés, bars and restaurants and you will be sharing your space with local residents rather than tourists.

Our room is small but perfectly formed. We live in a gorgeous house located in a working mews. It's like walking into the olden days! Just a 10 minute walk to the seafront & easy access to boutique shops.
Lovely, light and airy bedroom with a comfortable double bed made with 100% cotton bedding. There is also a bathroom next door which will be yours apart from one of us having an occasional bath.
Our house is in a working mews so on the weekdays and Saturdays the street is bustling with mechanics fixing cars and cool boutique workspaces. Sundays are super quiet and calm. We have a gorgeous little coffee shop open for morning cakes and superb coffee on Saturdays on our street. We are a 15 minute walk from the lovely Hove Lawns and seafront. Maraccos, my favourite Italian seafood restaurant is on the seafront too. Gorgeous food and ice cream. We are also 10 minutes from lovely boutique shops on Church Road. A Tesco grocery shop is a 7 minute walk away.

Cozy double room in a period flat in central Hove, 2 mins to seafront, 15 mins to train station, close to public transport and local amenities. Includes shared bathroom, limited use of kitchen plus wifi.
A double room with a north-facing window, which nevertheless is bright and airy. It is relatively cosy, but there is an electric heater for chilly nights. There is a double bed, a large desk, shelving and, if required, a clothing rail. If needed, we can provide a travel cot with a nice mattress for a child. We are a couple with a toddler - accordingly, we are happy to host guests with children and are equipped with handy gadgets to prepare food/bathing facilities, etc. Also, in this circumstance, we are happy to extend our hospitality to our son´s play areas.
The flat is set on one of Hove´s wide avenues, just adjacent to the main thoroughfare connecting Brighton with all points west. Locally there are a heap of coffee shops, bars, restaurants, late night shops. There is a large Tesco ten minutes away. The flat is very closed to George Street, Hove´s main high street, full of charity shops, coffee shops, a Boots shop, etc. Two minutes walk from Hove beach.

The private and secluded loft floor of our house consists of a bedroom and ensuite bathroom which are exclusively for your use. The bedroom has a king bed (150cmx200cm), TV/DVD/Netflix, and wardrobe. The shower has a selectable hand-held spray or overhead rain shower. Each room has its own radiator and the windows and skylight are openable in summer. There are coat hangers, a hairdryer, and tea/coffee facilities in the room, as well as a selection of DVDs, books, and visitors guides. You are also welcome to use our WiFi. There is one off-road parking spot directly in front of the house which you are free to use if you are bringing a car (parking can be expensive in Brighton & Hove!).

• A cool, calm modern space in a characterful row of Victorian mews houses, all painted with different pastel coloured stable doors in a lovely cobbled street. A lot of creative people choose to live or work in our mews. • We have an open designer staircase (as shown in the picture of our living area) not safe or suitable for very young children.
Brighton is quirky, cosmopolitan, liberal and tolerant – anything goes! It has a thriving café culture, especially around the bustling 'Lanes' area and North Laine with its many independent shops and bars. For more high street shopping there is Churchill Square shopping mall.  Brighton seafront is bustling all year round. We have the pier, the Sealife Aquarium and the recently opened i360 – the world's tallest moving observation platform (higher than the London Eye)! It has a long stretch of seafront bars, clubs, restaurants, shops and galleries, with arcades, outside entertainment and many children's activities. There is also a thriving gay scene. Basically Brighton has something for everyone! If you are looking for nightlife, Brighton has it in abundance, with many restaurants, live music venues and nightclubs. For its size there are more restaurants per person here than anywhere else in Britain. Venues like the Komedia are a comedy club, a cinema, a music venue and a restaurant combined. Brighton has a vibrant and eclectic music scene with music to suit all tastes, be it jazz or rock, folk or alternative, and buskers can be found everywhere on good days! If it's culture and heritage you want, you could visit the spectacular Royal Pavilion, with its quirky mix of Indian and Oriental styles. There are also many independent artists, galleries, museums and theatre venues. Slightly further afield, near the lovely town of Lewes, is Charleston the beautiful home and gardens of the Bloomsbury/Omega workshop set. Brighton has its own racecourse up on the highest point overlooking the city, which also has a large car boot sale every Sunday. A short drive or easy bus ride will take you to the beautiful South Downs National Park, with wonderful walks for strollers or serious ramblers.  There is a thriving LGBT scene, with of course the fantastic annual Pride parade which takes over the city for one day in August, starting at Hove seafront. Basically Brighton has something for everyone! Hove itself is quieter and more residential than Brighton, although it still has many great cafés, bars and restaurants, and is good to come back to after a busy day in Brighton. As in Brighton, there are many quirky, independent designer shops, but in Hove the shops are a little more exclusive. It's possible to pick up unusual one-off items. The beaches in Hove are quieter than in Brighton and are lined with the much-photographed beach huts. Beach barbecues are permitted after 6pm. Behind the seafront are the wonderful Hove Lawns, a wide grass area where many people get together during the warmer evenings as the sun goes down. Hove has some fantastic Regency architecture, especially along the seafront and areas like Palmeira Square.

This is a small single bedroom at the front of my house. As a guest, you'll have access to my bathroom, shower room, bathroom, kitchen, living room and a choice of two WCs. Two other rooms in the house are offered on Airbnb so you would be sharing the common areas with other Airbnb guests. I offer my driveway on justpark so if you need off street partking please let me know in advance and I can send you the booking details. The location is really great for easy access to public transport.
There will be up to 5 people staying in the house at any one time. The room faces the road, however, the windows do a great job of keeping down the sound of cars passing in this residential street. In winter we keep the house nice and warm. The upstairs has a bathroom with mixer shower, it's not a power shower. This room is ideal for a single person wanting a short stay in a friendly home near to the sea and the attractions of Hove and Brighton.
It's an exclusive residential neighborhood. Lot's of large private owned detached mansions. Semi-detached houses such as mine, residential care homes, sheltered housing and mansion blocks of flats. There are a couple of green open leisure spaces and several schools in the immediate area.

We are 5 minutes from the beach and around 15 minutes to the i360. We have coffee shops and restaurants galore on our doorstep and it is around a 15/20 minute walk into central Brighton, buses and a taxi rank are just 2 minutes away. The studio is part of a 5 storey Victorian town house which has permanent residents. The host has an adjoining apartment to the studio and you will share the same entrance.
It is a fabulous neighbourhood. It is literally 5 minutes from the sea and less than that to the pretty gardens and green areas. There are oodles of coffee shops and restaurants in the area to choose from and it is just 15/20 minutes to walk to central Brighton or a 5 minute bus/cab ride. There is quite a buzz in the area but it is relaxed and slightly removed from the bustling down town Brighton. I consider it to be a very safe and friendly place to be.

Stay in a slice of undiscovered history - wake up and feel like you’re in a film set. A wonderful stylishmews owned by designer in a great location close to Hove station, the beach and the city. Parking is available. A luxurious laid-back space filled with interesting finds, where you can relax and enjoy yourself. Suitable for 2 adults (and small children) and well behaved pets are welcome. Come and enjoy something different in this wonderful city close to the the sea.
This is a one bed studio flat with its own small kitchen and en-suite shower room. Its on the first floor of a large mews house. The room has a large armchair and a really comfortable high quality superking-sized mattress with the best quality linen. The space is best for two adults only but you could have small children in here with you (pull out beds available). There is a well equipped kitchen and a cool en-suite shower room with sink and loo. Please note: there is not enough space for a washer/dryer but there is one in the building. Please ask if you want to use it as you are very welcome. I am also happy to organise a service wash at the local laundry for a small charge - just give me the washing and I will drop it off for you. Come and enjoy the ever-changing art and the wonderful textiles in the studio. We have wifi, a large tv with dvd player, lots of films and apple tv. A nespresso coffee machine with pods, a radio, a small speaker and wood and coal for the fire (in winter). There are lots of things (jams/marmite etc) you can use for breakfast so please help yourself. If you need me to get in bread and milk for you please just ask. You are welcome to have a fire in the victorian fireplace. On Saturdays you can pop across the road to Pharmacie, for the best coffee and coolest (and most secret) coffee shop in Brighton. Try the vegan muffins. They are exceptional. Lots of things to do close by and close to the city centre. Go to Church Road for restaurants, bars and shops. See my guide for the best eating and drinking close by.
Our street is just very special. Its also a great spot. Its close to Hove station, Tesco Express, pubs and restaurants in Hove and also the city centre. All of the joy of being close to the centre without any of the hassle. This neighbourhood/street is a total one-off.

Kitchen is very well-equipped and one could easily live in this space for extended periods, extra touches such as herbs to use and seating outside make this a very enjoyable space.
The area is quiet and residential. Lloyd road is a wide tree-lined street. Beautiful Hove Park is a five minute walk away, the beach is a ten minute walk and there are great eateries and patisseries in Church Road, also a short walk away.

Quiet, spacious, private, bright and luxurious Victorian garden flat with easy on-street parking and the sea at the end of the road, literally a stones throw from the bars and restaurants of Hove and a 15 min walk to Brighton centre. A sturdy four-poster bed with a Hypnos mattress and high quality bedding will ensure a good night's sleep. The bathroom has a steel bath with a quality shower overhead. A conservatory off the kitchen has a table for dining, a sofa and a Smart TV with Netflix.
Fully refurbished in summer 2018 this garden flat is kept sparkling clean and is located in the Avenues Conservation area. The garden is wild but there's a decked area with table and chairs to enjoy the fresh air. If you need to store bicycles let me know and you can have the key to the side gate.
Hove is fantastic. It has a mainline railway station that connects to London in around an hour. It has a good selection of mid-priced restaurants, gastro pubs, wine bars, pubs etc. If you like jogging you could go for miles along the seafront in either direction. There are trendy cafes and Bars popping up all over Hove so eating and drinking is available within a very short stroll. The beaches in Hove are much quieter than Brighton, so you can get your own patch of pebbles to sit on if the sun shines.

This flat is situated in a pretty Conservation area, so it is quiet but still only a couple of minutes walk from all the shops, restaurants, cafes, pubs and public transport. It is wonderfully bright and sunny and I fully recommend sitting by the front window whilst the sun streams in and enjoying a glass of wine! There is a pretty window box outside, so feel free to help yourself to the fresh herbs.
This lovely apartment is situated in a quiet road, yet still only a few minutes walk from local amenities - supermarket, cafes, restaurants, shops, train station and the seafront. Of all the tree-lined streets and grand boulevards of Hove, there is one that captures best the Victorian spirit that many of the others have lost. Running from Blatchington Road to Hove Station, Denmark Villas, with its tall elms and sycamores, has retained its character from all those years back. The spacious sitting room is stylishly furnished and decorated and offers ample room to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Browse the books, watch TV, use my record player or just chill! For cold nights there is a lovely flame effect fire for added warmth. The apartment is on the first floor so if you have mobility issues this may not be suitable for you. Please don't make an enquiry if you are planning a drunken weekend, crazy clubbing or wild nights. This is a quiet residential house and I want to keep it this way. Included in the price is all your bed linen, towels and welcome pack to ease you into your stay. Fresh flowers, free tea and coffee, Virgin cable TV, DVD player, stereo and books to browse are just some of the bonuses. I always like to think of Hove as the classier sister to Brighton. Central Hove is blessed with several excellent places to eat and drink and boasts some exceptional Gastro pubs - be it the Urchin that specialises in seafood and craft beers. Hove Place has a beautiful Italianate Garden out back where you can enjoy a glass or two of wine and enjoy their Modern European menu. Central Hove is also two minutes walk away and boasts a whole array of shops. Hixon Green is wonderful for breakfast and brunch and only five minutes away. If venturing into Brighton I can make numerous suggestions of what to see and do and can advise on where to eat - be it meat eaters, gluten free, pescatarian or veggie/vegan.

This bedroom is in a semi-detached 4 bed house in Hove arranged over two floors. Guests will have access to wifi, bathroom/shower & WC. Hot water/heating and beverages are included in the price. The house dates from the 1970s and was updated and re-decorated throughout in 2010. There is a view of the garden from the bedroom window. Convenient for buses, Hove station, cricket ground and sea front.
It is a bright and airy, uncluttered double room, with a memory foam mattress and wardrobe. There is a medium sized fabric wardrobe to hang clothes and a desk with drawers and a lamp. Ideal for short breaks, business trips or for students. You will have complete privacy in the room itself and shared use of the bathroom and WC. There is a separate shower room and WC downstairs for use by the owner. There are lots of restaurants, cafes and pubs in the area so dining out is recommended during the stay. It's a very peaceful neighbourhood under one mile away from the beach.
It's a lovely place, well served for public transport and private car. Lots of green space, a vibrant nightlife, plenty of restaurants and attractions. The cricket ground is less than a mile away and there are exciting events year round.

Comfortable room overlooking the patio garden. Sturdy double bed, wooden floor boards, en-suite private toilet. This is a busy family home, with a teenager and an eight year old, and we always enjoy having friends and family come to stay. Our aim is to provide all our guests with a clean, comfortable and reasonably priced place to stay in a fantastic location, to use as a base to explore the wonderful and exciting Brighton (and Hove, actually). Our flat constitutes the entire basement level of a historic Regency grade 2 listed building. Considered by many one of the nicest roads in Brighton & Hove, our beautiful residential street leads straight down to Hove Lawns and the beach.
Not that I'm biased, but this is one of the nicest parts of Brighton & Hove. Flanked by the historic Brunswick Square and Adelaide Crescent, this wide but surprisingly quiet Regency road slopes gently down to the seafront. Half-way between Churchill Square and the Lanes (the main shopping and tourist areas of Brighton) and the pretty pedestrianized George Street in Hove, you are literally spoiled for choice of the things to do and places to see.

A studio flat two mins walk from the sea, in a beautiful Victorian mansion block.
This is my home- I love living here as it’s so close to the beach, and vibrant and cosmopolitan Hove. Also so close to its noisier sister Brighton... My flat is well designed by the previous owners... and it’s eclectic in its style, which I’ve added to with my own things and paintings. It’s a brilliant space, a few things need updating perhaps, but it is unique and everyone who walks in says WOW! So... I hope you will love it as much as I do for a little escape. Opening the curtains every morning is always a moment, usually one of great joy, looking out to sea and the blue, and the wind farms, and then green of Hove Lawns...
As above. Shops, bars, restaurants... loads of places for breakfast and sunny bars to sit at on warm evenings. (La Fourchette for people watching the wealthy of Hove! And Hove Place around the corner has a lovely garden and is very busy) The Wick Inn is a great pub, as is The Albion. Flour Pot bakery/cafe on First Avenue and Small Batch cafe just over road on Wilbury Road. Pizza, also corner Wilbury Road, handy Mulberry store corner of Second Avenue and the Nisa store round the corner with really sweet Sri Lanken owners who are always so helpful. Too much to mention here in terms of restaurants and bars- there are loads nearby. Oh and the beach two mins walk away with a safe swimming beach with lifeguards May to September; :)
