  • My husband & I live in Long Island City but booked this space because our wedding was going to take place at a venue close by & we needed a place where my bridesmaids & myself could get ready beforehand. However it was just myself & my husband that stayed here overnight. The place was wonderful & clean. I loved the decor inside & it had everything we needed/was listed. However the issue I had was with how I was treated & spoken to by the host. I found it very condescending & very stressful. I believe part of their concern was that I was having more than 2 people staying at the location & I could understand how’d they’d think that since several ladies came over to help me with items for the wedding the day before & day of. I don’t take issue with being asked about this but I think there are better ways to communicate with someone when you’re essentially running a business & they’re your client. Regardless, it all turned out just fine.

  • Chris was unavoidably unavailable but organized key pick up. The apartment is well located for activities in Greenpoint area. Some lighting issues and thermostat would not get above 61F but overall the stay was good for my needs.

  • Chris was a friendly and accommodating host and his apartment was charming and very clean and comfortable. The location was perfect for us. Washing machine and dryer listed in the amenities were not available. We would have liked to unpack our suitcases for a 2 week stay, but there was nowhere to put our clothes.

  • We enjoyed our stay in greenpoint so much! Best trip out of all the times we’ve been to NYC. Thanks for being so accommodating, for holding our luggage after check out, and for letting us stay in your wonderful home! Hope to come back soon! It was a fantastic cozy little apartment and we had a great stay.

  • If you’re looking for a funky and cozy place to stay, look no further! This place was absolutely perfect for my first trip to NY. It’s near a bunch of cute cafes and shops, and in walking distance of the metro. Chris has a great eye for design and I really enjoyed all of the personal touches + fun light fixtures around his home.

    Gaby2019-07-12T00:00:00Z
  • My girlfriend and I had a wonderful experience! Chris was a great host - very responsive on text and accommodating of our schedule. He also shared some great pointers on local restaurants and things to do. The apartment was beautiful and is in a great location (just a few steps from Greenpoint station). I'll definitely consider staying here again when I'm in the Brooklyn area next!

  • My family came to my graduation in upstate New York and we wanted to spend a couple of days in the city. Sky was very nice. She replied always in a timely manner, had the apartment very neat, let use use the coffee machine and cappuccino maker and gave me and my family plenty of privacy. The apartment's view is breathtaking and location is close to the subway station and also to JFK. There were plenty of towels, sheets, pillows and everything else we needed. Instructions and description were very accurate. The neighborhood feels safe and hipster with nice and affordable cafes and restaurants around. I really enjoyed my time there and would really recommend it to anyone. Kudos to Sky on great hosting.

My cool and comfortable prewar apartment with exposed brick and skylights has a definite Brooklyn vibe. The room is cozy and bright located on a quiet residential side street, steps away from boutiques, restaurants, coffee shops and grocery stores. I hope you will get a taste of what it’s like to live as a local as there aren't many tourists around. You'll be about two blocks from the subway to get to Manhattan and walking distance to Williamsburg.
Female guests only, please:) It's a two bedroom apartment in a Brooklyn walk-up building built in 1931. The kitchen and bathroom are renovated. Charming exposed brick and original exposed wood beam ceilings throughout gives it the kind of charm and character you can only find in the city. Super high 12 foot ceilings and skylights allows the sunlight in and gives it a bright and airy feel. Your room: The mattress is new, purchased within the last year and is memory foam. I provide you with bedding, along with towels. The room is very bright, especially in the mornings and has its own sky light. One of the windows faces a back yard, so you won't get a lot of street noise, but may hear the kids playing on occasion. There is a dresser and a closet for you plus a fold out table and a chair for working if needed. The Air conditioning is a separate unit in the room (not pictured), inserted into the wall. It will be installed from June-September.
The apartment is just steps away from organic grocery stores plus lots of bars, coffee shops and restaurants. The neighborhood has a definite local, Brooklyn vibe. You won't see a lot of tourists. The demographic consists of creative young professionals and young families. It's also very safe, with a low crime rate. Greenpoint is famous for its Polish population, too which adds diversity to the mix (plus great pirogies). There is excellent coffee in the neighborhood- odd fox, Sweet Leaf and Champion, to name a few. For groceries, the Garden is stocked with vegan/vegetarian/organic foods. For fun, one of my favorite things to do is walk down Franklin street, stop in at Maman for a homemade Oreo and soak up the Manhattan skyline at the waterfront park.
  • Wonderful stay. Great space - Excellent light comes into the bedroom, great location in the heart of greenpoint, very clean and well maintained without being crowded with anything unnecessary. Great host - Britt was attentive and kind without being invasive. She really made me feel very comfortable. Thanks so much to you, Britt

  • I really loved staying with Britt! The room and the whole flat was very clean, centrally located and beautiful. Britt is a really sweet and welcoming host who made me feel at home. I really liked this part of Brooklyn and walked across the bridge into Manhattan several times. I would definitely love to stay here again when I am coming back to New York!

    Sarah2017-09-11T00:00:00Z
  • Great apartment in a nice area where you can find restaurants, coffee shops, supermarkets... The subway is pretty close as well. Britt is very friendly and helpful, I will definitely book this apt. if I go back to NY.

    Guls822018-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • My 2-months stay was PERFECT. Britt was the best host I've ever met. She really made me feel home every single day. The bed was quite big and comfy in the room, and it was a great experience to get up with a lot of sunlight in the morning. The apartment was clean, quiet, and warm. The location is also great. There are a lot of restaurants, delis, coffee shops, etc. I could easily take G-train too. I'll miss her, and I will definitely stay at her place if I get a chance to come back. Thank you so much, Britt!

  • Brittany was a wonderful and friendly host - the apartment was very clean and the bedroom had a lovely view of the backyard. Greenpoint is a fun neighborhood with lots of bars and restaurants. Easy commute to Manhattan! Would highly recommend.

    Annie2017-05-30T00:00:00Z
  • Britt's apartment was clean and easy to access, and there was plenty of space in my room. I loved that the bathroom is immediately off the room. And Britt seems to be a very lovely person. Note that the radiator can be a bit noisy while you're trying to sleep, but it shouldn't prevent a stay. I hope to stay here again in the future.

    Vicky2018-03-18T00:00:00Z
  • Britt is a great host and I knew she was there if I needed anything. Her place is really nice and was perfect for my trip and kept very clean.

Greenpoint has been our home for the last decade. In that time we've seen a lot of change. Every corner is evolving... new restaurants, shops come and go, strollers and dogs multiplying. However, the constant has been an awesome loft; a quiet refuge from the city. My wife's great sense of style and comfort are the biggest reason for that, but even as you take in our incredible midtown views, there is definitely a sense of calm once you open the door!
Similar to the contrast between the city skyline seen from our roof and the bird sanctuary outside of our window, we built a loft that captures an NY artists energy and a quiet refuge. We our so lucky to live here and even more to share our home. Cozy 800 square ft loft with views of city skyline. Rooftop access and a location 2 blocks from East River ferry or subway giving you almost instant access to New York city whether visiting or admiring from across the river. Would you believe that Brooklyn is quiet? Maybe not all of our borough is so sweet and serene, but we are lucky enough to wake up to a bird sanctuary in our backyard. Our FOUR large windows look out to trees and beyond that, the midtown skyline. After living street-side in my first two apartments here, I thought New York really was the city that never sleeps. Now I know that some of us sleep perfectly well! You just need to be in our apartment. Great shops and restaurants in our quiet neighborhood give you perfect home-base to attend Broadway shows or go shopping and sightseeing without having to stay in the city or pay NYC hotel prices. Full kitchen, bath for two, queen size mattress in separate sleeping area and enclosed guest nook with full size futon. Wifi and air-conditioning to make your stay an easy and comfortable one. We have fallen in love with the neighborhood to the point that my wife has opened up a salon called The Karcher down Franklin street. We are mainstays in this neighborhood, but when we leave on the weekend or for vacation we have loved sharing our home. One of our favorite things about Brooklyn, is that you get to SEE the city and there is nowhere better to do that than our roof. Some of our neighbors are into rooftop gardening, but with our crazy lives, we like to put a blanket down for a beer or a picnic with wine. We know you will enjoy your stay! Per a recent request, a parking spot can be reserved for an additional fee. Small dogs are allowed for an extra fee. Unfortunately we have cat allergies. I always try to get back to our guests questions within a couple hours prior to their arrival. We are around the neighborhood often but mostly we stay out of our guests way. When they need a guide and I am able to step away from the toddler business, I have enjoyed a beer from time to time, but I think our guests have preferred feeling like our home was their home for a while.
I tell my friends and family in the midwest that Greenpoint has the feel of Sesame St. I am constantly running running into people I know, or just have seen so many times that it feels that way. Even complete strangers seem to smile and say hello here. I think seeing the river down every street seems to give us some mental separation from the city and you can feel it in the air.
  • I rented Pat's apartment for my host family who were visiting NYC for our wedding. This apartment is so pretty, well kept, and tastefully decorated. On top of it, it is also quiet place to recuperate, which is a luxury in the city. Pat was very flexible and quick to response to any of our questions and requests. Pat made the process so simple and easy, and that took a load off from our shoulders as we planned our wedding. Thank you so much Pat!

    Steven2017-10-15T00:00:00Z
  • Pat is literally a lifesaver. With only a week to go before my stay at another airbnb host was cancelled without warning. What really ticked me off was a week before the cancellation I reached out to the previous host and asked specifically if everything was good to go? He responded that everything was fine. Airbnb please revoke his host privileges. So with no time left to look for a new place and during the Christmas/ New Year holiday season I thought I was screwed. Airbnb assisted me with finding a new place but in addition I reached out to Pat and he was gracious enough to allow me to stay at his place. Awesome location in Greenpoint and beautiful apartment. I'm glad the other host cancelled because this place was leaps and bounds better.

  • This spot was great! Comfortable and stylish in an excellent location. We made a last minute reservation and the check in and out was extremely smooth. Thanks again!

  • Pats place was perfect. We had four of us and were concerned about space, however the place was extremely spacious. Fantastic kitchen which allowed us to cook some great dinners. The location is in a nice area, G line train is a little infrequent however a walk to L line makes Manhattan more accessible. Some great bars and food stores close to his house and close to funky Williamsburg. Had a fantastic time.

    Alana2012-10-21T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful time staying by Pat. From the start he was very accommodating, communicative and caring. We were thrilled with how clean the space was with everything organized and no dust or dirtiness. The kitchen, floors and much of the furniture is new and fresh.

    Raizel2016-04-26T00:00:00Z
  • Flat was clean, comfortable, nice bed. Nothing to complain about, we had a great time. Host was always available for questions.

  • Alex's place was great! Definitely recommend this spot for anyone looking to stay in Greenpoint.

  • Great cozy apartment on the ground floor of the building. AC works amazingly. There is a Keurig for coffee/tea, pods provided, and a good sized Brita water filter. Lots of plates, bowls, utensils, dishwasher. Refrigerator works great and is very clean. Conveniently located near bodegas (one next door) and cafés and bars. Although there isn't a living room, the kitchen is a well lit common space. Bedrooms are clean. Bathroom is cozy but with a large sink, well flushing toilet, and clean shower. Alex is very responsive and gracious. Definitely a superhost. Happy with our stay.

Three blocks away from the Greenpoint Av G Subway stop; twenty five minutes to Union Square with access to all of Manhattan; and ten blocks from the East River Ferry. Great for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids).
  • This place is in a great location. Check in / check out / communication with Aaron was perfect.

    Michael2019-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • Great host, apartment, location and price. No complaints, exactly as advertised. Aaron was easy to communicate with and very helpful. Excellent location and best bang for your buck experience I’ve had in airbnb. Thanks Aaron

  • Nice loft with excellent air conditioning. Clean and spacious. Would stay again

    Rebecca2019-07-02T00:00:00Z
  • We had such a nice stay at Aaron's apartment. It's really stylish, clean and spacious and one can see the love for detail. You have everything you need, all the equipment is in the apartment. Working A/C and Wifi. Just to mention, (as described in the announcement) there's no elevator in the building, so you have to carry your bags 3 floors upstairs - so take strong men with you :). The neighborhood is totally hipster - loved it - reminded me of Berlin. Many small bars/restaurants, shops and bakeries with affordable prices. Also, a laundromat is close to the apartment what was really convenient. Subway: G line is about 10 mins away (unfortunately we had bad luck, as there was construction work in the downtown direction, but that's typical NYC), L line is a 15-20 mins walk away to go directly to Manhattan. The communication with Aaron was top - replied fast, and sent us all the details for the check-in in an extra message in advance of our stay. He also let us drop off our luggage 3 hrs prior to the usual check-in time what was really attentive. Definitely worth the price. I would stay there again - Thank you so much, Aaron.

    Lisa2018-06-27T00:00:00Z
  • Great spot for the price. Clean with everything you need. It’s a 4 story walk up so keep that in mind if you’re disabled or in bad health. Good value for the neighborhood. Would stay again.

So close to Manhattan and easy to get to on the subway and ferry. Aaron is a great host, who made a late check in for my and my sister super easy plus was always available on messages and communicated really quickly.

    Joe2018-10-03T00:00:00Z
  • Aaron's apartment in Greenpoint is exactly as it is pictured in the photos. It is very comfortable and clean. My family of 4 was there for a week and we loved it. The location is great, with easy access to Nassau Ave (five min walk) and Greenpoint Ave stations, where you can catch the G Train, or if you walk for 10 mins you can get to Bedford Ave for the L Train. This gives you really easy access to Manhattan, Queens and all of Brooklyn. Locally, the neighbourhood is really interesting, with some cool places to eat, drink and grab a coffee. There are also some interesting and arty second-hand stores.

    Chris2019-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed at Aaron’s place for two nights and it was just great! A lot of useful amenities, comfy beds, clean, AC, close to the metro station. Check in was very fast, Aaron responds very quickly. I totally recommend his place! Thank you Aaron!

Welcome to our beautiful, cozy townhouse! We have 2 floors, and you’d have an entire floor to yourself, complete with your own bathroom and living space. We are one block from trendy Williamsburg, with bars/restaurants such as Westlight, Berry Park & the Brooklyn Bowl just minutes away. Gorgeous Mccarran Park is only a 4 minute stroll. If you’d prefer to stay in, we have our own private back yard, complete with a grill. And we may have some sneaky tips on nearby rooftops for the best NYC views!
My roommate Hamilton is an architect and artist, so a lot of the art & furniture was created by him. We love music, so our guitars are “functional art pieces” but feel free to jam. Also, this is a pre-war build so we installed a modern fireplace under the mantle just in case you’re in a cozy mood. There is so much space that it’s tough to fill, enjoy, and welcome!
We’re 1 block from the water, 4 minutes from Westlight and Mccarren Park, 7 minutes from the ferry, 5 minutes from the G train, steps away from dozens of incredible restaurants.
  • Terrific hospitality, welcome, cleanliness. Great walking area.

  • Great host in a good location, gave us some really good recommendations, very welcoming and generous, would highly recommend!

  • Marlowe is an exceptional host. He went above and beyond to help us check in very late. This space is comfortable and spacious. I would stay here again.

    Andrew2019-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • This space worked great for us - we had our own space downstairs when we wanted it, but could also venture upstairs to do a bit of cooking or get some great local recommendations from Marlowe & Hamilton. The guys were very friendly and helpful, and we had a great time staying here.

    Allison2019-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • Job done for simple and close to Williamsburg

    Chris2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • This place was amazing! Right in the heart of Greenpoint and Williamsburg. Marlowe is a fantastic host and made me feel right at home from the moment I first walked in. The room is amazing and a tremendous value for your money. Tons of great things to do in the area, and Marlowe went out of his way to make it a home away from home. I highly recommend staying here, 10 out of 10!

  • A great place to stay! Marlowe was a very welcoming host and super helpful when it came to navigating the city! Place was very clean and easy to check in and out of. Would stay here again if I'm ever in the city!

You're never going to want to leave. Quintessential tree-lined Brooklyn street, sandwiched between two epic streets of restaurants, bars, cafes, retro antique shops, thrift stores... The bedroom has one full-sized bed, and a bright window overlooking the street. The apartment has two bathrooms. Our guests will have exclusive access to one of the bathrooms during their stay. Guests have access to a washer and dryer as needed.
Beautiful city skyline view from across the East river and a 20 minute walk to McCarren park and Williamsburg. Steps away from the G-train, which will take you into Union Square in 20 minutes. Citibike dock less than a minute's walk away. Street parking is available. You can get on the NYC Ferry right at the end of our street & ride it for fun, or to Williamsburg/DUMBO/Manhattan. Two floor walk-up. Bedroom with full-sized bed and a door that locks from the inside. The window looks over a beautiful tree-lined street. The apartment gets a lot of natural sunlight. Washer and dryer in the unit for your use. Both bathrooms have a shower and heated floors.
The apartment is sandwiched between two streets filled with great bars and restaurants, but our street itself is quiet and residential. McCarren Park and Williamsburg is a 20 minute walk, or 8 minute bike ride. The ferry station is at the end of our block where you can sit and watch the boats go up and down the East River, or hop on the ferry for a ride. Must try Paulie G's pizza a few blocks south of the apartment!

Beautiful apartment in the hippest part off Greenpoint. Right by the water. Subway. Water Ferry. The perfect Brooklyn location. Live like a local.
The apartment is located in a great area of Greenpoint Brooklyn. Manhattan is a short subway ride away, but you still have great restaurants, bars, shopping, etc. at your doorstep. If you choose to keep it Eco-friendly, there are two Citi Bike outposts on the street the apartment is located on. A 3-day pass is $24 dollars. You can either catch the G Train uptown to go to Upper East Side or the L train to Union Square to go anywhere in Manhattan. It is a very safe and comfortable area with lots of local restaurants and nightlife if you choose to explore Brooklyn. Towels and clean linens will be provided for your stay and you have full use of the bathroom, kitchen and living room. If you choose to cook at home, please feel free to use the kitchen. It is stocked with pots and pans, cutlery, etc. There is a blow dryer and flat iron in the bathroom. Everything you need to feel at home. Free Wi-Fi is provided, please see manual for password. The Nassau G train is a 3 minute walk, unless you stop for an ice coffee or latte on the way. The Bedford L train stop is a 15 minute walk through McCarren Park. The neighborhood is loaded with great restaurants, bars and easy access to Manhattan. The great thing about Greenpoint is it also has all the everyday things you need too...grocery stores, produce stores, there are two large Rite Aids (24 hour drugstores) around the corner, liquor stores, shopping, laundry mats; that can sometimes be missing in smaller more "industrial" areas. It is a clean, safe and inexpensive way to enjoy all Brooklyn and NYC has to offer! Email me with any questions you have. An early or late check-in is never an issue; please just send me an email with details. Thanks for looking!

  • This listing is amazing!!! Right in the heart of Greenpoint and walkable to all major points of interest there. The space is open, airy, spacious and incredibly comfortable. The bathroom was amazing with a deep tub and provided toiletries. We will definitely rent again! Kimberly was super communicative and hospitable.

BEAUTIFUL LOFT APARTMENT: 3 blocks away from Greenpoint Ave G Subway stop; 25 minutes to Union Square by L Subway at Bedford Ave; 10 blocks to the East River Ferry. Great for couples, solo adventure rs, business travelers and families.
This apartment is a newly renovated building from a sugar factory. Industrialized design yet artistically fun and interesting. It is right on the broader of Williamsburg and Greenpoint, less than ten minutes walk to subway station. The place is spacious, got high ceiling and is super cozy! We try to keep the apartment as minimal as possible so that you can relax and chill. You may access to the rooftop and overlook the amazing Manhattan skyline view at night :) I promise you will want to come back and visit again. Cheers!
Williamsburg has emerged in recent years as a pop-culture darling, and a force in defining NYC trends. While it seems that everyone has an opinion on Williamsburg's true cultural cache, those that live in the neighborhood prefer not to overthink it. Instead, you'll find a refreshingly care-free community where the motto is "do your own thing" - and always have a good time along way.
  • The apartment was mostly clean and the bed was comfortable, but a photo production that rented one of the other 3 Airbnb rooms in the apartment woke me at 5:45 am. Thankfully I was able to receive a refund from Airbnb because there were at least 10 Unverified guests in the apartment and the door was left unlocked and opened by the photo crew.

  • Fine for a single night stay. Nice apartment.

    Kaitie2019-09-19T00:00:00Z
  • Jimmy is great! Very responsive and sensitive to the needs of the guests. The place is super cool and the location is perfect. The building is also full of young people so it’s always full of life but never had problems with noise or other stuff. Great place.

    Stefano2019-09-12T00:00:00Z
  • Jimmy was very responsive and allowed us to book the place last minute! I would definitely recommend people staying here. I will say, however, it was a bit cold. I don’t believe the room had a built in heater. Jimmy did give us a plug in heater but it didn’t work at such a great capacity. Overall, I would totally recommend!

    Kiana2019-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • Overall, Jimmy's apartment is conveniently located and well-situated. The bedroom contains a loft bed. My main issue was that there's a new cat in the apartment, which wasn't mentioned in the initial description I read. Fortunately, I did not have to interact with the cat very much, but it did make a lot of noise as I tried to sleep in the evening.

    Junius2018-06-24T00:00:00Z
  • Booked a private room for 1 bed and 1 sofa bed for 2 people. Our room only had 1 bed and host was not able to accommodate for the sofa bed. Besides this issue, the room and complex was very clean and had a beautiful bathroom.

    Ricky2018-06-10T00:00:00Z
  • It was a clean, stylish loft. Very comfortable. Check in was very easy and private.

Enjoy a unique Brooklyn artist experience in our modern, sun-filled room. Located in a renovated warehouse in the heart of Greenpoint/Williamsburg. Only 20 mins to Manhattan, close to the L train & G train, ONE stop from Manhattan! Our neighborhood is known for incredible restaurants, shopping, coffee, juices, parks, and nightlife. We have the famous Five Leaves, Wythe Hotel, East River Ferry, and McCarren park nearby. Our home is truly a local's only experience!
We welcome friendly, open minded, and easy going people who are open to sharing our home with us. If you prefer to have your own private space and a hotel-like service, then we encourage you to look for hotels in the area or 'entire apartments' instead of a private room. *************** PLEASE READ EVERYTHING BELOW BEFORE BOOKING WITH US AND ASKING ANY QUESTIONS! Most of your questions can be answered in this listing. We try to cover everything in this listing to be SUPER clear and to meet all expectations. THIS IS A PRIVATE ROOM THAT IS SHARED WITH OTHERS! This is our personal home, NOT a hotel, that we open up and share with our guests. We love sharing our home, our experiences, and meeting new people, but our home is NOT for those who expect a completely private, entire home at a "cheaper" rate. Our home is not for everyone, but we do our best to accommodate our guests in every way. If you are someone who prefers a completely private place with hotel-like service, our home is not for you so please don't book our home. Seriously. PLEASE SELECT TWO GUESTS WHEN BOOKING FOR TWO PEOPLE! Make sure you select TWO guests in that drop-down. We do charge a small fee for the extra guest, which helps us keep this listing at a lower price than comparable establishments around us. This helps us with the extra cost of taxes, utilities, amenities, and supplies that we offer. TWO GUESTS MAX: We have a strict two-guest-per-booking maximum and do not allow extra guests to sleep in the living room, or below the loft. So, if you aren't comfortable sharing a bed with your traveling partner, this place probably isn't for you. Our place is not suitable for babies or children, so please don’t ask. CANCELLATION POLICY: We have a strict cancellation policy, no exceptions (including health & weather). Make sure to read everything before you book. If you need to cancel for ANY reason, you are agreeing to our refund policy by booking. COMMUNICATION: We expect all our guests to be able to communicate with us before and during their stay in a timely manner. If this is your first time using Airbnb, download the app so you can get up to date messaging. There will be moments every now and then where we may have to reach out about the apartment, or check in to see if everything is okay. This is important during your stay with us, so please keep that in mind when booking. QUIET HOURS: We want to be respectful of everyone's sleeping schedule. We ask you to be considerate of noise between 10pm-9am. We don't care how late you are out, or how early you wake up, you can come and go at whatever time you please. But seriously, don't be on your phone, talking loud, playing music, leaving lights on, etc., when you come in late/early or slamming doors when you come in/out. DISCOUNTS: Discounts are automatically applied if you are staying longer than a week or months. Do not ask us for any additional discounts. We have fantastic hotels nearby that start at $500+ per night if you prefer that. WE HAVE ANOTHER ROOM FOR SOLO TRAVELERS ONLY: Have a look at our other, one guest maximum, Airbnb listing within the same apartment with a 5-STAR rating and reviews for a cheaper rate! Also not suitable for babies or children. https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/14176286 BEFORE YOU CLICK THAT "INSTANT BOOK" WITH US... We assume that once you book with us, you have read everything here– agree to our “house rules” at the bottom of this listing and agree with the expectations. We have full rights to cancel your reservation if you do not abide to our rules. We appreciate it and look forward to having you stay with us! *************** WE ARE FEATURED IN: - Refinery 29 "Airbnb's under $100 in NYC" - Popeye Magazine, a Japanese Magazine for City Boys Check out the photos in the gallery! THE APARTMENT: A spacious 4 bedroom loft-style home with a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, and living room. The space in quite large for New York City and the room has east facing windows which provides tons of light that most New York spaces won't have. The apartment is thoughtfully curated and designed with handmade furniture by us, mid-century interior aesthetics, plants, art, and vintage goods. You'll also have access to our rooftop with a gorgeous skyline view. THE NEIGHBORHOOD: You'll be close to a weekend farmer's market at the park, tons of bars, coffee shops, restaurants, and parks. We are also close to plenty of options for gyms, salons, spas, grocery stores, deli's, convenience stores, late night snack spots, and more! Everything is walking distance and the neighborhood is incredibly safe (there's a neighborhood police station a few blocks away). Greenpoint has so many sweeping views of NYC's skyline in different parks and bars around us. You'll be minutes walking distance to the G train and L train, the ferry, or the bus. Our home is our sanctuary. It is peaceful and always kept clean. We expect you, as our guests, to respect our home in the same way.
LOCATED IN THE HEART OF GREENPOINT/WILLIAMSBURG: Home to a large Polish-American community, Brooklyn's evolving Greenpoint neighborhood is a residential area with hipster appeal. Traditional Polish shops and restaurants share the streets with trend-setting eateries, bars and live music venues. Galleries and artist studios are found in converted warehouses. The revitalized East River waterfront has parks and new high-rises with sweeping views of midtown Manhattan. The East River Ferry is a nice walk with great shops, bars, cafes along the way on Franklin Ave. The Ferry can take you to Dumbo, Manhattan (8 min ride), or Long Island City in just minutes! Traditional Polish restaurants serve pierogi and borscht near sleek eateries that dish out modern cuisine. Inexpensive dive bars and cushy cocktail dens coexist in harmony, and small boutiques do business alongside massive vintage shops. The neighborhood’s biggest draw is its coffee-and-doughnut scene—with 60-year-old Peter Pan Donut & Pastry Shop leading the pack. The apartment is located in a quiet area just tucked away from the noisy streets of Bedford Ave, Williamsburg and Manhattan Ave, Greenpoint. Some of Brooklyn's hidden secrets are just around the corner. If you want to be close to the city but away from the noise, our place is PERFECT for you! It is extremely SAFE and friendly!
  • I love the place, it was super cozy and they really made the bedroom unique! My sister and I had a great time taking pictures before leaving because #aestheticgoals. The toilets are shared and wonderfully stocked with products for airbnb guests to use! So that was amazing because then, we don't have to spend on amenities. We were baked some cookies too on our 2nd night and it was amazing! The airbnb was near to the blooming Brooklyn and everything was within walkable distance if you want to grab brunch or donuts from Peter Pan's(world famous btw!!)!

    Caroline2016-12-21T00:00:00Z
  • This was a great place to stay. The location was not too bad (like a 6-minute walk to the subway). I didn't explore much around the location but it seemed like a nice and safe neighborhood. I felt safe walking to the apartment even late at night. The apartment was very clean and aesthetically pleasing (rooftop view is a plus). Tiffany was great at responding to any questions and or concerns and made. This was my first time staying with a host and would highly recommend staying here.

    Karla2019-05-07T00:00:00Z
  • Tiffany's place is nice, cool, charming, beautiful, clean and central. I highly recommend it!

    Anna2017-03-18T00:00:00Z
  • Very clean, organized, nice place to stay. Neighbors can be a little loud on the weekends. Tiffany is helpful and friendly, but not pushy or intrusive. A great to be a low-key base of operations to explore Brooklyn.

  • Best airbnb ever I had. Lovely Place! Can't forget.

    영지2017-10-12T00:00:00Z
  • Gorgeous apartment with outstanding hosts who were considerate and provided help in ways we didn't even think we needed- would definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking to stay in Brooklyn!

    Francesca2018-01-14T00:00:00Z
  • Tiffany's place is precisely as described, a creative's home, both hosts are warm and welcoming. It has all required amenities available for use and bonus access to the roof where you can get some perspective on the neighbourhood. You are in close proximity to nighttime venues and neighbours so be aware that there will be city noise. I totally loved my stay and enjoyed exploring the variety of shops, bars and open spaces.

    Angela2017-10-16T00:00:00Z
  • Tiffany and Alvaro were very welcoming and nice! I enjoyed staying at their place, located in a quiet neighborhood with nice places for brunch and close to Manhattan (though the future shut down of the L line in 2019 will make it a bit longer to reach Manhattan)

Spacious basement studio in lovely Greenpoint neighborhood on historic block. The space is private with a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Microwave/convection oven, no cook top. Wireless Internet access. Easily accessible to Manhattan by subway, ferry across the East River or car. Perfect for short stay, getaway.
  • Thank you for the best possible experience! We really loved the apartment and neighbourhood and would book again anytime! We couldn't have booked a better location and host in Greenpoint. Small cosy cafés, shops, restaurants and bars on every corner. All the best from Copenhagen

  • We had a wonderful stay at Jane and Sante's house in Greenpoint. Our hosts were welcoming and helpful – especially their two friendly dogs! The apartment was very spacious and well lit and had a homey feel. Simply furnished with "real" furniture (not soulless IKEA stuff) and an amazingly comfortable bed. In the morning you could hear birds tweeting in the backyard and no traffic. Greenpoint is a laid back but super interesting part of the city and the studio apartment located right in the centre of the neighbourhood. For us it was the perfect base for exploring the city.

    Peter2013-04-02T00:00:00Z
  • Location was great, with some really nice bars and cafes in the area. Only 10minutes walk to Williamsburg but easy to get to Manhattan too. A good balance. Apartment was clean, tidy and quiet. Hosts were friendly and helpful. Recommended.

    Ann2013-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Janes apartment is located in the quiet part of Greenpoint but near subway, restaurants, supermarkets and pubs. The host is very careful, gave us lots of informations about transportation, restaurants and pubs. The studio is located in the basement but it's really cosy and spacious, ideal for shorter stay wen visiting NYC. I would definitely recommend the host and next time visiting NYC i'll book the same studio.

    Ivana2012-10-10T00:00:00Z
  • Great apartment and a great travel experience! I appreciated that Jane got back to me quickly with any questions I had before arriving to Brooklyn. The room itself was spotless, the bed and pillows super comfy, the apartment cool in the heat wave and a funky and safe neighborhood! The apartment is close to transit, so whether you want to explore brooklyn, manhattan or other environs, it is convenient. And Jane and Sante are lovely. I highly recommend this apartment!

    Aliya2012-07-22T00:00:00Z
  • I've been in New York several times before coming to Jane's apartment. I've never been so well hosted than here. Jane's studio is very spacious, comfortable and quiet. It is very well decorated and anything bothered us during our stay. The bed is very comfortable and the shower is great. The apartment is very close to Manhattan via subway (one change to 5th ave/Times Square) or Ferry to midtown, Brooklyn or downtown (a Must Go, even with cold weather). You will easily find restaurants, cafes, delis and stores in a walking distance. We would definitely stay here again in a new trip to NYC. We stayed for 8 nights and Sante welcome us with a lot of recommendations nearby and a very nice talk. We met him some times during our stay and also met Jane. Both were cool and available for any request. Sante even helped us with a cab to Manhattan in our last day. If you are looking for privacy and practicality this is the right place.

    Raphael2015-12-11T00:00:00Z
  • We had a superb stay at Jane and Sante's studio apartment. It is in a great location, right beside the subway and very clean. Our hosts were more than helpful and made us feel right at home. All in all this apartment added to our overall experience of Brooklyn and New York. I would happily stay here again without second thought.

    Darragh2015-06-20T00:00:00Z
  • Jane and Sante were very welcoming hosts. They are at your disposal to help you in anything for your visits. They are careful, and even brought us new towels in the middle of our stay. The apartment is exactly as it appears in the photos, there is only one window in the lounge so the appartment is not luminous so much, but you do not really care because you are outside all the time. It is very clean and the bed is very comfortable. The area is very nice, and it's nice to stay in Brooklyn rather than Manhattan, it's much more human. The subway is really at 2 minutes of walk, located on a line quite useful to join Manhattan. The ferry is really close (2 minutes) and the view is splendid!

Enjoy your stay in a quiet oasis in the heart of Brooklyn, with easy access to Manhattan. Walking distance from great restaurants, coffee shops, chic bars, and parks. Easily explore the city using the G train, 7 train, and East River Ferry-- all just a few blocks from the apartment. There are also two buses on the block that take you straight to Williamsburg.
A tranquil private room with a closet, bedding, and towels for you. The room is sunny and spacious. Kitchenware and appliances, wifi/cable/on demand are all free for you to use. Help yourself to coffee every morning!
There are so many food options within walking distance! You must try Paulie Gees pizza and the delicious baked goods at Bakari. There is a cute wine store down the street that has tastings every Thursday. You can walk over the bridge to LIC for a comedy show, or stay in the neighborhood and barhop. Check out the Sunshine Laundromat while you are here! There is a fake washer and dryer in the back that opens up to a speakeasy bar. There are several great brunch spots and a lovely park 5 minutes away.
  • Had the best stay at Lindsey’s. She’s relaxed, really welcoming and hospitable. Her insider tips will go a long way and she is great to have a chat to as well. Will definitely be back to stay here if I’m in Brooklyn again!

  • TV wasn’t hooked up. Otherwise, a stellar experience. Lindsey’s great. The apartment was basically completely available to me. Great location. Couldn’t have asked for a better price or experience. Definitely would stay there again in the future. Highest recommendation

It felt like a home away from home. The neighbourhood is great too with lots of coffee houses, bars and restaurants worth visiting.

  • I stayed at Lindsey's place in the beginning of my stay (see my previouse review), then went to visit my daughter in upstate New York, then we came back again to stay after seeing a show. This place is very convenient via a couple subway lines from the theater district, as well as back to Grand Central and JFK. We also had time to enjoy a great brunch place and 2nd hand store nearby before we left (Lindsey has a nice print out of recommendations in the area!)

  • Very clean and neat, air conditioner in your room and coffee in the morning. The G train is a few minutes walk, so Manhattan is a quick ride away. There are two good cafes on the street and some cool clubs close by too. I had a super experience!

    Clare2018-07-24T00:00:00Z
  • Our destination in that part of Brooklyn was the Expo Center and Lindsey's place is within easy walking distance of there. There were great restaurants, bars, and bakeries all around and within walking distance. The Neighborhood was quiet and made us feel safe and Lindsey's place was on the first floor so it was awesome to not have to walk up a bunch of stairs. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. The room and bathroom had ample space for two travelers. We would definitely stay here again.

  • Very nice place, clean and bright. Superb location - close to the subway with easy access to Manhattan. Very hip Brooklyn - two good coffee shops on the same block.

I love my apartment. It's on the 2nd floor of what was a sweater factory in the early 1900's, now converted into a unique loft space with high ceilings and original architectural details. The neighborhood is everything you want from Brooklyn; from Michelin star restaurants to dive bars and boutiques full of locally made wares. Your bedroom is cozy and filled with light. The cherry (literally) on top is the large roof area with sweeping views of Manhattan and the East River.
I will be around during the day most days if you need me. I have coffee and tea for you and a kitchen fully equipped for you to cook. Pay-Per-Load Washers and Dryers are available on every floor, just let me know if you want to use them and I can give you instructions.
Greenpoint is the best neighborhood I have ever lived in. You will be steps away from neighborhood favorites like Paulie Gee's pizza as well as Michelin Star restaurants like Oxomoco. There are 3 grocery stores within a 5-10 minute walk. Nearby Franklin Avenue is full of cocktail spots which range from divey, to low-key with a back yard, to Brooklyn chic. You will be a 10 minute walk from the heart of Williamsburg with it's many bars restaurants, shops, music venues and good vibes. You can walk 7 minutes from your front door to Transmitter park which is directly on the banks of the East River, or you can walk 7 minutes to McCarren park to do laps on the brand new track. The Brooklyn Expo is 3 minutes from my front door on foot and Brooklyn Bazaar 5 minutes. You'll be so glad you chose to stay here.
  • Alex is super nice host! the place is amazing (also the night view at the roof) hope to se u again soon

  • This Greenpoint gem is located ideally and comes with a large accessible roof that offers the best Manhattan skyline view. The bedrooms are small but comfortable. The apartment is nicely decorated and clean. Walk 15 mins to the L train on Bedford and N7th or be adventurous and take the G :-) Manhattan is close and easy to reach. Enjoy Mc Carren Park and don't forget to have lunch or dinner at Kristina's, the old Polish restaurant on Manhattan Ave. Enjoy this apartment and Greenpoint, Brooklyn!

Brand new renovated 3 bedroom apartment in the heart of Greenpoint with your private office, right off the G Train, close to L Train. 6 minutes to Midtown New York by ferry. Free parking in entire area. People of all backgrounds, orientation, color, gender, culture and age are welcome in this apartment. I love to host and make a special effort to keep this place super clean. Live at the water, close to ferry, subway and bikes. Only myself living here. You will have lots of privacy.
In this apartment I put lots of importance on decor. You will find a lot of art up my walls, curated plants and carefully picked designer furniture. I have windows on every side, the entire top floor and gorgeous skyline views. Bathroom, floors and walls all newly renovated. Very modern interior design. I take great pride in excellent hygiene and cleanliness.
You will live in a brick building in the heart of Greenpoint that was registered as a 'historic landmark'. The street you live on is probably one of the most picturesque streets in Brooklyn. This neighborhood has so much charme with all its bars, little cafes and shops, with its boutiques and diverse restaurants, you'll never want to leave. Even though you're in the heart of New York, it feels like you're in suburbia.
  • Joe is an awesome host! The place was clean and convenient. He responded to my messages in no time. We were on very different schedules so I didn’t get to visit much with him. But I felt welcome the entire time. Thanks for such a good experience!

  • Fabulous place with an amazingly nice host

    Sylvia2018-05-05T00:00:00Z
  • Thank you for the wonderful stay at your place Joe! This was my first time booking a room instead of the entire place and my experience was better than expected. Joe was easy to communicate with and made me very comfortable. I spent most of my time out and about, but when I was home it felt like I had the entire place to myself. Joe was very hospitable and had nice touches like coffee in the morning and an oil diffuser and iHome speaker in my room. My mini vacation was a blast and I hope this would be available for my next visit to Brooklyn!

  • Great view, really nice host

    Jesse2017-11-24T00:00:00Z
  • Dear all, We have mixed feelings about the experience : I came in NY with my best friend and we stayed there for 8 nights. The location is great, close to 24/7 markets, fastfoods and subway, but the appartment is in building with no lift and it is on the 4th floor. The place itself is very cozy and clean, but the room and the bed are a bit small for 2. We had 2 hosts: John and Joe. On one side, John welcomed us at our arrival, he was kind and warm, and we felt so happy and thrilled. He gave us a tea, some chocolates and offered us some MET invitation tickets he got. Due to his job, we only get the chance to see him few times. Everytime we saw him, he was always smileful, delightful, warm and helped us at his best. He was so nice with us. On the other side, Joe was pretty cold and unfriendly. His attitude made us feel uncomfortable and not very welcomed at his place. Besides, playing music at loud in the bathroom at 2am is not respectful. We even had some pretty tense talks, because he didn't keep his words: we agreed on some organization points, but then he changed his mind; so we were very confused and stressed at some point, and we truly didn't understand why he acted like this. However, he helped us to find a laundry outside, provide us some detergent & softener, and offer us some coffee some days. In conclusion, despite those bad events, we still enjoyed our stay and visiting New York! Helene & Marwa

Located on the Williamsburg-Greenpoint border, there are many great restaurants, bars and music venues nearby. Union square with access to all of Manhattan is 25 minutes away, the Nassau G subway is two blocks away, the Bedford L is 10 minutes away.
This three bedroom factory-loft-style apartment has everything you need to enjoy your stay in New York. One bedroom has a queen-sized bed and the other two have full beds. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a table for two, and a spacious bathroom.
Right in center of the Williamsburg-Greenpoint border you are close to all the action without the noise. Whether you want to go North into Greenpoint or south into Williamsburg there are restaurants, bars, and music venues all within a few blocks. You could spend your entire trip within five blocks and have a great time!

  • We loved Cyrus's place. It's exactly what you see in the pictures. Cyrus added some chairs at the dinner area which we really appreciated since we were 6 people. The location is great, commute friendly. A few blocks from cafes, restaurants, markets and all the action. There are metro stations very close to the apartment so going to Manhattan is super easy. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you, Cyrus.

  • A great place to stay! Right in the heart of Williamsburg, with plenty of cool places to explore in the neighbourhood. The apartment block has a roof terrace, with fantastic views of the New York skyline. Easy/quick subway and ferry links to Manhattan. The apartment itself was clean, well-appointed, and very spacious (we had three people staying here, all with plenty of room). Many thanks! John, Matt and Phil

Hello, I rent a cosy private room with a confy convertible couch to sleep on. Ideal for travelers on a budget in a perfect location. Private entrance shared bathroom and kitchen. Subway is right outside (1 minute walking) Ferry to Manhattan only 5 minutes walking. Lots of restaurants, bars, supermarkets in the trendy Greenpoint neighborhood
Private room on a two bedroom apartment ideally for travelers on a budget. Private entrance to the apartment. Shared kitchen and bathroom
Lots of restaurants, bars, supermarkets, waterfront in the trendy Greenpoint neighborhood
  • The place is perfect for a solo traveler staying for a couple of days, intending to visit the city and happy to come back to a more relaxed part of town in the evening (with awesome cafes and bars around the corner) The apartment is only a few metro stops (or ferry stops) away from Manhattan and walking distance from Williamsburg, so its a proper “live New York like a local” type of experience. Yes the apartment is small, but there’s everything you need to rest your feet after all the fun you had outside. And on top of that Anika and Alejandro are awesome hosts !

If you are someone who prefers a completely private space with hotel-like service, our home is not for you. You'll also have access to our rooftop with a gorgeous skyline view. THE NEIGHBORHOOD: You'll be close to a weekend farmer's market at the park, tons of bars, coffee shops, restaurants, and parks. Our home is our sanctuary and it is peaceful and always kept clean.
  • What a lovely, artsy abode in a quieter, but still hip, pocket in Brooklyn. Tiffany and Alvaro were excellent communicators, kept an impeccably clean home, and enabled a very comfortable stay for me to get away from DC for a couple nights. I loved their place and everything was convenient & efficient from check-in to check-out. Tiffany was so sweet, too!

    Sasha2017-11-16T00:00:00Z
  • my experience staying at Tiffany's, Alvaro's and Ulises' was great. I felt very comfortable and welcome. All of them were so nice and pleasant. the apartment is beautiful and the room is cosy. I could balance my privacy and social time easily. Tiffany was willingly to answer all of my questions (and there were a few) and all of her advice were useful. It was all i could expect from an Airbnb experience and I am definitely going to command it to my friends.

  • I spend special 3weeks. Tiffany is so helpful and approachable, As if Tiffany’s room was my house in NY. I had till time and relaxing When I came home. I want to came back this place .

  • It’s an extremely comfortable space to relax and rest after a hectic day in NYC. There’s plenty of great food around the apartment and it’s walkable distance to 2 different subway lines. Tiffany is quick at responding too. Highly recommended!

    Ivy2018-08-06T00:00:00Z
  • This was a great, fully lived-in apartment with a built-in loft inside the cozy little room with a bed on top in a really efficiently designed space. Ulises was there to help me as much as possible throughout my stay as Tiffany and Alvaro were out of town. Communication was pretty much superb overall. I felt like I had the whole place to myself most of the time, and enjoyed using the projector to watch shows on Netflix, boiling water in their percolator for some evening tea, relishing the ample space in the big bathroom, climbing up the ladder to my little comfortable bed and even checking out the rooftop on the final night during my trip. Tiffany and Ulises didn't mind that I unplugged the two wall air fresheners since I was sensitive to synthetic fragrances and also I was able to rectify the apartment key issue when Ulises gave me his key to use on the last few days of my stay. This is a totally unique place to stay for solo travelers who want to be as close as possible to the hippest parts of Williamsburg and Greenpoint. Highly recommended!

  • My husband and I stayed at Nicks apartment for a full month! The apartment has everything you could ask for + everything is sparkling clean. Nick met us upon arrival and helped us carry up all of our luggage (which was quite a bit). Only thing worth to know before is that the floor in the apartment has an angle (a slit angle along all of the apartment which gives waking there a strange feel) - other than that, great apartment! We would be happy to stay with Nick again in the future.

  • Nick's place is such a gem! It will really transport you to the full hipster haven experience Greenpoint has to offer. His thoughtful style and decor made the space a real oasis - and it's even larger than the photos make it seem! Nick was very accommodating with our check-in time and offering to help get our bags up the four flights of stairs. Would definitely recommend!

  • We had a really good stay at Nick's. His apartment is clean and comfortable and the neighbourhood is perfect. Although we never got to meet Nick he was always in touch to make sure we were doing ok. Also a hat tip to his friend Will that let us in when we arrived, even though we were hours delayed he was very calm and welcoming. Highly recommended!

*CLICK "READ MORE" TO READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION* Hello! I'm seeking a clean & responsible guest looking to stay for multiple months. *IMPORTANT: all reservations must be a minimum of 3 months. Your reservation MUST begin on Dec 1st 2019 and end on the LAST day of whichever month you'll be checking out (even if your arrival/departure dates are different). NO exceptions - please do NOT request different dates. Please read the full listing for more details. I look forward to hosting you! :)
This is a creatively decorated, newly renovated studio on the first floor of a historic NYC building. REASONS TO STAY HERE: ~Greenpoint is (in my opinion) the best and coolest neighborhood in all of NYC. ~There are tons of shops, restaurants, bars, delis, bodegas, and grocery stores within walking distance. ~You'll have easy access to Manhattan and Williamsburg. ~The area is VERY safe, and the apartment is very quiet. ~At the request of past guests, I've installed an AC so the apartment stays very cool in the summer. It also has a quality heating system, so it's very warm in the winter. ***** This location has several public transportation options: you'll be 5 blocks from the Greenpoint stop on the G-train, and you'll have easy access to the Lorimer L-train in Williamsburg, or the E/M/7 trains at Court Square. You can also walk over the Pulaski bridge to the Vernon/Jackson 7-train station in under 10 minutes. It takes about 25 min to get to Times Square or Union Square by subway during peak hours. It's important to me to rent to guests who are clean, quiet, trustworthy, responsible, and will treat my place with respect. Please don't book here if you plan to throw parties or engage in any behavior that may disturb neighbors. Please get in touch if you're interested or have any questions! ~Skylar
Greenpoint has a charming and historic feel to it. There's plenty to do in the area, and it's right next to Williamsburg and Manhattan.
  • My husband and I were very happy with the place. It’s quite small (200-400 sq ft maybe?)- Probably ok if you’re alone. If you’re a couple, then it depends. For us we didn’t have a problem with the size. We found the small apartment cute, cozy, and comfy. It made cleaning super easy. Another thing we liked about the apartment was that it was very warm. Some people might find it too hot during late fall or early Spring, but it was a big plus for us because I love warm apartments. The location was great. Greenpoint is full of bars, restaurants, and shops. Manhattan and Williamsberg are close. I’d take a walk to Williamsberg every day (about 1 ½ - 2 miles or about 2 stops away on the subway). Skylar, the host, was a very nice person. He’s friendly and easy to talk to. He was responsive to our requests. We felt quite lucky to be able to stay here. Thanks Skylar!

  • Our stay in Greenpoint was great! Skylar is a very welcoming and friendly host. It was extremly easy to get in touch with him and he was available to help us. About the apartment, it is quite small but cozy and perfectly clean, located in a quiet neighbourhood. Thank you again Skylar!

    Léna2013-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • Skylar is one of the most welcoming and interesting Airbnb hosts I've ever met. He always communicated actively to make sure I was always accommodated at the apartment. The apartment is small indeed, but enough for someone who's on a temporary internship. Its location is wonderful. There many great restaurants, tea/coffee places, and supermarkets nearby. Commuting to Manhattan only takes a 10-minute walk to East River Ferry or across Pulaski Bridge to Line 7 in Queens. I strongly recommend this place.

    Lenny2016-08-01T00:00:00Z
  • The location of the Greenpoint neighborhood can't be beat. There are plenty of shops, bars, restaurants to visit. It's easy to get to Brooklyn, Queens, and Manhattan from here. The kitchen had just what I needed for cooking my daily meals. The other apartment tenants were quiet yet friendly. I didn't run into them often in fact. Skylar's last guest was not very respectful of the space, but he worked out an emergency plan to accommodate my arrival. He was very considerate in this regard. Skylar was available by phone for my questions, and never popped by until check-out day (which I prefer).

    Jonathan2016-05-02T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice art-filled cozy apartment with personality in a quiet yet hip neighborhood in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Great place to stay if you want to escape from the noise and stress of Manhattan or your day job. Short walk to Greenpoint subway and all the restaurants and shops there. Short trip to Manhattan or even walk to Williamsburg. Really nice stay and plenty of freedom with the place. I'd definitely stay here again.

    Adam2013-06-01T00:00:00Z
  • Skylar was a spectacular host and the place is killer. Spectacular location, fully stocked, fun and quirky decor. Skylar was super responsive and is as hands off or involved as you want it to be. It is a little small, but perfect for one person and laid out really well so it feels larger than it is. I can't recommend enough!

Hello, my name is Jon! I've been in hospitality for over 15 years as a massage therapist, restaurant and bar manager, hotel hospitality director, and hotel marketing professional. Now I'm sharing all of the things I've picked up along the way. You'll enjoy a private entrance, a quiet modern bedroom sanctuary, stocked Blue Bottle coffee, Aesop bath products, Japanese incense, real down bedding, high thread count sheets, and more from Greenpoint's most central location.
Your room is on the second floor on the back side of our prewar building on Manhattan Avenue. It faces a row of yards and gardens behind the building which are delightfully quiet at all hours of the day. It faces east, so the sun can come in past the blackout window treatments if you please. The room is enclosed by thick brick walls (one of which is exposed and ornamented by collections from my world travels) which does an amazing job of insulating the unit from sound on all sides. The bedroom has a television, desk with chair, and bench for sitting. The door opens into the kitchen which has a counter height table which seats two. This kitchen seating and counter space is dedicated for your use, as the living room on the front side of the apartment has been converted into my massage studio and is private. There is one bathroom in the unit that we share featuring a bathtub in a marble lined inset. Taking baths with the provided salts is encouraged!
Greenpoint is full of quietly amazing little boutique bars, restaurants, and shopping. It is one stop on the G train away from the madness of the L train which delightfully keeps most of the tourists out. It's got a great local vibe, and closes down early so it remains a quiet sanctuary.
  • Jon is truly an extraordinary host with a gift for hospitality and making people feel at ease. His apartment is exceptionally clean, quiet, and peaceful. The private entrance really sets this place apart from other Airbnbs, along with all the personal touches Jon puts into the stay—from giving you a complimentary juice/smoothie at check-in at the juice bar next door to the lovely Aesop products in the bathroom—it truly felt like I was staying in a hotel at times. The apartment is also in a terrific location, a few blocks from the subway and right in front of a 24-hour Rite Aid. Jon himself is a very responsive, respectful, and trustworthy host who was willing to go out of his way to accommodate me during my stay. I'm really looking forward to returning to this super zen gem of a stay whenever I need to come to New York!

    Geraldine2018-11-22T00:00:00Z
  • My stay was perfect. Great having separate entrance into the bedroom. Room is quiet, bed super comfortable, apartment is clean and functional. What I loved most was Jon’s attention to detail; bed sheets are amazing, apartment is modern and minimalist. Jon is a lovely guy, was available, considerate, and easy going. I loved hanging out in Greenpoint. I’ve stayed all over Brooklyn and it’s easily the most interesting and dynamic part of New York. Will definitely stay again!

    Joseph2018-12-16T00:00:00Z
  • Jon’s place is just as described. A really nice room and shared area, the bed in particular was amazing. So nice to have good quality products made available to us as well. The location is perfect if you want to be close to everything going on in Greenpoint and Williamsburg, just a short ride to Manhattan. Being at the back of the building means you can get some quality chill out time. Jon is really responsive to messages and check is was super easy. Thanks for a five star stay!

    Mel2019-05-27T00:00:00Z
  • Jon's space was the perfect home base for my recent trip to Brooklyn. The location was ideal - lots to do locally, and a quick and easy commute to other neighbourhoods and into Manhattan. The space was so cozy and funky, and Jon was easy to get ahold of and very helpful with any questions that came up.

    Molly2019-03-27T00:00:00Z
  • Jon's place is beautifully appointed, perfectly maintained, and conveniently located. We will stay there again any time we are in Brooklyn. Of particular note are the comfortable bed and thoughtful amenities. The attention to detail is apparent throughout. Aesop products in the bathroom, flat screen TV with streaming services, and Jon's open bar are just a few examples. Jon himself is an exceptional host. He knows Brooklyn, and is brimming with ideas and recommendations for any guest. He is out of the apartment during the day, so you will likely have the place to yourself much of the time. The apartment is on a busy street, but the bedroom is in the back overlooking the backyard. It is very quiet and we never heard street noise. It is also a couple of blocks to the G train station, and all of Greenpoint and Williamsburg are just a short walk or ride away. This place is a real gem!

    Steven2018-11-26T00:00:00Z
  • This place is an 11 out of 10 on all fronts. Make sure to eat at Oxomoco down the street! 👌

    Bob2019-05-31T00:00:00Z
  • Very cozy and well equipped room, with good room for clothes, comfortable bed and nice decorations. The bathroom is located in the middle of the appartment, just a few feet from the bedroom, and is complete and spacious. The kitchen is also available for use, with an oven, refrigerator, coffee appliance and tableware. Jon and Iryna were very kind and accommodating hosts, we had a great time during our stay.

    Victoria2019-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • 10/10 would recommend! Jon was very accommodating. His home is wonderful and clean, and though I wouldn’t have minded I didn’t see him after he kindly checked me in. Thanks, Jon!

Live in a big bright room with a private entrance in an apartment in trendy neighborhood Greenpoint. Right next to the G train, and you can get to Manhattan in just 15 minutes. Also just a 5-10 min walk from McCarren Park and Williamsburg. Tons of great restaurants, coffee shops, vintage stores and more in this lovely area! There is a queen size sofa bed, a projectors + Apple TV. Mini fridge stocked with water bottles in the bedroom. Everything you need to be comfortable!
I love everything about this space and I’m sure you will too! The apartment is located just a few blocks from lovely McCarren Park and a 10 minute walk from the heart of Williamsburg. You can get to both Midtown and Downtown Manhattan in about 15 minutes with the subway, or a cab if the traffic isn't slow. The bathroom and kitchen are shared with me whenever I am home, but I spend a lot of nights at my boyfriend's house so I am not home that much. The bathroom and kitchen are not directly connected to your bedroom, you access these rooms by walking 20 feet down the hallway and entering into the second entrance of the apartment.
Greenpoint is an amazing part of New York and Brooklyn! It is close to Manhattan but also hig neigborhoods like Bushwick and Williamsburg. The neighborhood has tons of little cute cafés, diners, restaurants, delis, bars and vintage shops. My favorite part about living here is being a 5 minute walk from McCarren Park where you can just bring a blanket, book and some snacks and lie in the sun or shade all day watching all the people walking by.
  • Shelley’s place is wonderful! Very well located, 20 mins from midtown and a couple blocks from the heart of Williamsburg, you cant have it better. It is absolutely a hidden gem, ideal for short stays. The apartment was exactly as depicted in the pictures, we were three adults and it worked well provided two of us shared a queen bed. Shelley is an excellent host. We didn’t get to meet her personally but she (or her boyfriend) were always available through chat or phone. In short, i would definitely recommend Shelley’s place it is absolutely worth its value.

    Veronica2018-07-10T00:00:00Z
  • It’s nice room but the room is near by the road so it’s little be noisy. bathroom was little small and we need cross a hallway to get kitchen room and bathroom. But I like the living room with projector. I will recommended you to go stay here

    Minghao2018-11-25T00:00:00Z
  • Shelley's apartment was really amazing! I live in New York and I booked it for when my friends were in town for the three of us to stay there. It was definitely spacious enough, super clean, both the bed and sofa bed were very comfortable, there were 2 window AC:s so it stayed nice and cool in the apartment even during the current 95 degree heat wave in NYC. The subway station is just a 2 minute walk away so it was quick and easy to get in to Manhattan, and we also enjoyed having McCarren park and Williamsburg just a short walk away. Will be saving this listing for the future if I ever need to book a place in New York again.

    Austin2018-06-30T00:00:00Z
  • Shelley’s little spot is so adorable and located in a fun, convenient area. The subway is right around the corner and there are a bunch of trendy shops nearby. For solo travelers you should note it’s on the first floor facing the road, but since it’s on a main road and right next to a school my friend and I felt totally safe! Thanks Shelley!

    Chelsea2018-09-26T00:00:00Z
  • Shelley was a great host. The apartment was extremely clean and she was very communicative.

    Danielle2019-03-18T00:00:00Z
  • Such a cute space! Very walkable, lots of cute restaurants and bars nearby. Super close (like 2 minutes) to the G train. I had an amazing stay, would definitely book Shelley’s place again.

    Victoria2018-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • Shelley was an amazing host! I would absolutely recommend staying here. It’s very comfortable and had all necessary amenities. The proximity to the subway was great and made it easy to explore Brooklyn and Manhattan!

This is a cozy, clean and spacious furnished private room with three windows and amazing view of the East River, and the Manhattan skyline- You can literally see the Empire State Building from your window as you're lying in bed. The apartment has a very authentic Brooklyn feel and look, a lovely place to call home.
It's in a safe and trendy neighborhood in Brooklyn, Greenpoint, in the heart of the historical enclave. Surrounded with Cute Cafes, great little restaurants and bars, a bookstore, and a park by the river. The train, is one block away, very convenient transportation options. I am one block from the G train.( 20-35 minutes subway ride to the city.) And one block from the water ferry, (5-10 minutes ferry ride to midtown Manhattan.) and there are plenty of City- Bike stations for those who ride. You are welcome to store food in the kitchen and prepare some of your meals. Prefer people who are light on cooking and keep the food preparation vegetarian/ pescatarian. (I am vegetarian/ pescaterian.) This is a pre- war historically preserved building and it doesn't have an elevator or handicap excess. The apartments located on the six floor. Nevertheless people find it easy to climb and I will certainly be glad to help you with your suitcase when you arrive.
It's my favorite neighborhood in the city, because it's quiet, cool, lots to do, cafe, yoga, parks, art... clean, and safe!
  • Excellent cozy room. Incredible view of Manhattan. Runn is a very good person.

    Seba2017-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed for almost two months at Runn's place. Runn was there at my arrival, he greeted me and showed me my room and the apartment and explained to me a few things. He was very nice and welcoming. He was not there most of the time (he was outside NY travelling) but he kept constantly in touch and kept checking with me to make sure I had everything I needed and to answer any of my questions. The room is a nice size room, with a good size closet (I was there almost two months, so I had lots of clothes with me). The view from the room is stunning, you can view Manhattan and at night it is very nice to see all the lights. The bed is comfortable and I slept quite well. The kitchen is very large and you can eat in it, it has a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, all in good working conditions. There is also a nice pantry to store your food. And then there is the neighbourhood. As Runn says, Greenpoint is really charming. It is in an old Polish neighbourhood, very charming, with lots of restaurants and pubs at nights, and good cafés during the day. If you like to cook, there is a nice grocery store right at the corner, and a couple of very good large organic stores just a block away on Manhattan Avenue. Until late fall there is also a corner fruit and vegetable truck. In addition, there is also a laundromat on the other corner of the building, on Franklyn Avenue. Finally, the place is just 15 minutes from Manhattan, but I found myself staying in this neighbourhood a lot, being so beautiful. If you walk south towards Nassau you end up in Williamsburg which is another charming neighbourhood. Should I stay in Brooklyn again, I will definitively stay at Runn's place again.

    Valentino2016-10-30T00:00:00Z
  • Runn is salt of the earth, as they say. Fantastic host who went out of his way to make sure my stay was as pleasant as possible. The room was comfortable and the view was outstanding. Can't beat that neighborhood either... has all the fun brooklyn stuff at yr doorstep.

    Julian2014-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • Runn was the perfect host! He was warm, welcoming and responsive, and also perfectly understands the guest's occasional need for space. The room was very clean and comfortable and simply decorated, with a beautiful view of the city and the river. It's close to a lovely little park on the water, and tons of little coffee shops and restaurants. Very highly recommended location and host! Thank you Runn!

    Rachel2015-07-09T00:00:00Z
  • Ryan was a great host! He accepted my last-minute (same day!!) request after my hotel room was cancelled and was extremely nice and kind to me during my stay in his place. His place is located in a great area, within walking distance to many great bars and restaurants, and it's an easy commute to Manhattan. Also, I must say that the bedroom has a great view of NY's skyline :)

    Catarina2018-05-28T00:00:00Z
  • I had an absolutely lovely stay in this adorable room! Another host canceled my reservation a month before my trip but it was a good thing – I ended up here. I loved everything about this flat and my room. It was clean and cozy. Everything I needed was provided. The view was AMAZING! Or what do you say about seeing Empire State Building from your comfortable bed?! The bathroom was convenient and clean, and so was the kitchen. The apartment is in an old house, so it is beautifully worn out (I like!). There are good vibes in this apartment! There was no AC and as the weather got hotter, it was quite warm in my room too, but Runn had promised to arrange an AC in case it would get too hot. It is a sixth floor walk-up, but it is not too bad! I would say, totally worth it. Runn wasn't at home during all of my stay, but he seemed to care that everything is fine and we messaged to each other. I can recommend this lovely home! I wish I get the opportunity to stay here again. <3

  • I had a fantastic stay in Greenpoint at Runn's apartment. I am medical student who stayed for an extended period of time and Runn was very helpful throughout the entire process. Everything from booking the apartment to initially navigating my way around the city. The view of Manhattan is absolutely spectacular, and the area is very safe. I thoroughly recommend!

  • This place was very pleasant, I especally liked the plants, the water pressure and Greem herself who was very friendly and communicative. It was clean and tidy and reasonably well located. Things to note, the apartment is small and the room itself is close to a main street I also couldnt get a cold shower in 90+degs. The bed and pillows were really comfortable and there are some nice cafes, restaurants and bars nearby. All in all a good experience, I can definately recommend this Airbnb

  • Greem was a very energetic and friendly host. She is also an artist working in New York. My trip in New York became more abundant due to local details from her. Her house was filled with her wonderful sense. The area around the house was very safe and it was nice to have lots of cheap grocery stores. Williamsburg was close enough to walk. If I ever visit Brooklyn again, I want to stay here again.

    Jun Hwa2019-05-29T00:00:00Z
  • Staying at Greem’s place was truly an excellent experience. Location is superb - there are so many things around 24/7 and generally, the place is very clean and safe. The room itself is very sunny and comfortable. Greem was a wonderful host, super nice, friendly and interesting person.. it was like visiting an old friend living in a super cool neighborhood :) She was very responsive and has great local tips and recommendations. I'm looking forward to staying there again!

Charming one bedroom floor-through apartment located in a two-family townhouse, on a tree-lined, landmark block in historic Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Recently voted "Best Block to live on in the Metropolitan Area" by New York Magazine. This tranquil neighborhood is filled with wonderful parks, restaurants, book shops, and all you'll need for a wonderful stay in New York. Walking distance to Williamsburg, currently one of New York's hippest neighborhoods, with its galleries, boutiques, bars, and restaurants. There's a health food grocery store on the corner and the subway to Manhattan a block away. Manhattan's East River Ferry is just 2 blocks away. With public transportation, you are 10 minutes from Midtown. Our one bedroom apartment has been recently renovated with many original details and is clean and comfortable.
  • Alex's apartment is comfortable and well equipped. It's a great place to relax after a day exploring the neighbourhood (or further afield) and quiet at night. A great location. Greenpoint!! Alex's suggestions are just right. We had a great time...

  • This was my second time staying at the Greenpoint apartment. Alex and Karyn are always quick to respond to questions or needs. Perfect location with great restaurants, shops and access to subway nearby. Feels safe, apartment clean and comfortable. SO much better than staying at a hotel. Has become my first choice when visiting my son who lives nearby. Thanks again!

  • This is a very comfortable, spacious apartment in a great location. There are plenty of shops and restaurants in easy walking distance and even though the local subway station was temporarily closed, access to the subway system was convenient. Our hosts were away while we were there, but they were accessible by phone and very helpful.

  • Three of us stayed here for 17 days and found the apartment overall very pleasant and comfortable to stay in. Karyn was very nice to deal with and happy to help when I asked her for some more cooking utensils. We had some issues with the fridge not keeping food cold which was a nuisance but Karyn and Alex are having the fridge serviced. So future guests shouldn't have to endure that frustration. The apartment is beautiful and very close to the subway and the ferry as well as manhattan street which is bursting with shops to shop or dine in. Peter Pan's is a great place for bagels and donuts worth the walk there. The Garden which carries everything you could need to stock your pantry is right on the corner close to the apartment, very handy. There are also cheaper places to shop if you are on a budget. We had a great stay here.

Hi everyone and welcome to my lovely apartment. I recently just moved into this gorgeous apartment with amazing neighborhood.
This is a four bedrooms apartment with one full bathroom with bathtub and marble floor. The apartment furnished with hardwood floors, common courtyard and great light. Located in the heart of Williamsburg.
Around my apartment has ton of bars and restaurants for guests to enjoy, steps to Wythe hotel, Freehold, Output, galleries and much more interesting places just right around the corner for you. Also, there are a lot of different kinds types of food to choose from just on Bedford ave alone. This neighborhood has a unique vibe and is very convenient.
  • Atthaphon was very kind and attentive all the time, he always responded immediately to all our questions. His apartment is near to a metro station and it’s really easy to get anywhere from there. Our room was very comfortable and cozy. I’d definitely stay again in there.

  • The place was amazing, great location and friendly, knowledgeable host

  • Amazing location, just a couple block from the L and right in the middle of trendy Williamsburg with great coffee places and bar right around the corner. There might be other residents in the same apartment and only one bathroom - so sometimes had to wait to use the bathroom but other than that, everything else was great!

  • Ken was very kind and quick to deal with my problems.Sometimes I ate the food he cooked and it was very delicious. The room was very clean and had a good time.

  • We arrived at Ken’s an hour later than we had expected due to immigration. Thankfully, Ken was very understanding and was kind enough to wait up for us. The room was as described clean, spacious, and comfortable. Some people have commented on the sound of cars as the room is located next to the street. Perhaps if you’re a light sleeper, this is something to keep in mind; however, we had no issue with this and slept very well. The AC unit in the room is a blessing to have after a long day of exploring in the sun. Ken’s place is in a great location with a grocery store, a subway stop, and the East River Ferry all close by. Highly recommend staying with Ken while you’re in NY!

  • Perfect place if you want to experience the Brooklyn area. Ten min walk from G train. Kens house was quiet and clean. Bed was firm but that wasn’t an issue for me, might be for others though. His quick responses were appreciated.

  • No mattress, just two box springs stacked on each other currently. Hopefully this is changes ASAP as bed is the most important part of an AirBNB. However the stay was overall good and Ken is a great host as far as communication and flexibility goes. Very cute place overall and easy access to greenpoint station to get anywhere in Brooklyn or manhattan. Provided nice slippers for in the unit and sharing bathroom was never an issue. He has a cat that stays in his room - not an issue unless severely allergic. Host is great overall but needs to purchase mattress ASAP

  • Very clean private space. Very nice host. Good location.

    Gabriel2019-06-24T00:00:00Z
  • Ken was a gracious host. Room was super spacious and in a convenient location. Bed was a little firm, but overall a pleasant stay!

    Marissa2019-05-26T00:00:00Z
  • Ken is a very friendly host, always asking me if I want food :) Spacious room that I can use my yoga mat. Convenient location (very close to G train and B62 B32 buses to Long Island City). The room is on the first floor which was great for me because I had a large luggage. Only one thing to note is that it’s just by the road—can hear the cars passing by, and sometimes can feel the shaking if a truck pass by. Overall it was a great stay, and yes I’ll recommend Ken’s place.
