  • Enjoyable 5-night stay in Ciara's apartment. The photos advertised are a true reflection of this well designed, well decorated apartment. Ciara was very prompt and communicative through email from the initial booking stages to check-out. The apartments is located in a secure residential building with a concierge that makes check-in and check-out easy. Ciara gave detailed instructions from Kings Cross station and after a day or two we found a couple of bus routes close to the apartment that make commuting to the station a breeze. A good experience and highly recommended. Thanks Ciara.

  • This is a lovely apartment in a great location. Very clean and tidy with everything we could ask for. Ciara was a fantastic host, very helpful and always on call if we needed her. A mention should also go to the concierge people outside the apartment who were very friendly and attentive too! A very pleasant stay!

5 mins walk from King's Cross/ St Pancras stations. London's most connected transport hub. Direct connections to all London airports. I can only accommodate ONE person (please don't ask if I can take two people). The bedroom is very quiet (triple glazing). I try to be flexible about check in time. You are welcome to leave your luggage on departure day and collect it later - giving you time to do last minute shopping or site seeing. I don't allow guests to have parcels delivered to my home.
Right in the centre of London life yet quiet, warm and peaceful. The bathroom is adjacent to the bedroom. Modern cotton bed linen is provided for your comfort. The bedroom is small (3.2 m x 2.6m) and the bed is 'three quarters' i.e. 1.2m wide -half way between a single and double. Let me know if you wish to hang clothes in the wardrobe. Street level access so travellers with heavy luggage don't have to worry about stairs!
King's Place is 3 minutes away for music and galleries. The magnificently restored railway stations of King's Cross and St Pancras are worth looking at closely. The Regent's Canal has colourful houseboats (including a floating bookshop: 'Word on the Water'; swans, ducks, moorhens, cormorants and terrapins. FREE WIFI at St Pancras station and The British Library (ask at the desk for password).
  • Mike was a splendid host and was most helpful in giving me advice on places to visit in London. I had no difficulties in finding the apartment and its location is indeed very central and makes traveling in London quite convenient. The place was clean and tidy with easy access at all hours. Would definitely recommend to anyone seeking a pleasant and affordable location in Central London

    Justin2014-10-30T00:00:00Z
  • Mike is nice and tolerent of my later-than-appointed arrival. The block is quiet and convienient and the room was clean and comfortable. Good experience.

  • Mike is nice and easy-going. He was really helpful and assisted me to settle in early in the morning. He also shared with me the good food in the area. The apartment is clean with a perfect location. It was really convenient for me to take a train to the airport and places of interest as King's Cross is just a few minutes away. I will definitely book a stay with Mike when I return to London.

    Yvonne2015-05-13T00:00:00Z
  • A fine location right next to the King's Cross station. Great for access to public transportation. Mike was an excellent host that kept a clean apartment and made me feel very welcome. Highly recommended.

    Christopher2015-10-25T00:00:00Z
  • I had a pleasant stay in Mike's flat. The bed was comfortable and I slept very soundly. The room would I imagine be just a little too cramped for more than a night or two but for my short stay it was fine. And of course getting to St Pancras for an early train was a breeze. I was very pleased with my choice and I'd happily stay again.

  • Richard’s place was really nice. Both hosts were super friendly. The room was spacious and very clean and we got clean towels every day. We were in and out a lot and it was perfect for a few nights. I will say though that in the description it said it was close to public transport but it is a bit of a walk. Just something to consider if you are coming home late and wish to walk from the tube. Apart from that I can’t fault it- absolutely amazing!

    Renske2019-09-13T00:00:00Z
  • Richard and Chijioke were perfect hosts. The flat was beautiful. Just what we needed. The balcony was lovely especially on a night. Although we came on a very warm week, there was a nice touch of a fan and cold bottles of water for us in the fridge. Richard thought of everything. Also such a bonus that we could use the underground car park.

    Gemma2019-09-25T00:00:00Z
  • Easy to access and good quality room with a good host.

    Patrick2019-08-17T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect for a one night stay! Richard met us at the door, and showed us everything. Tea and coffee available, milk and water in the fridge, bathroom clean with spare towels provided! Bedroom was a little bit cluttered but there was room for hanging clothes, with a fan, speaker and TV, should you want it. We were staying as we were going to a gig in Islington, and it was perfect for that! Also surprisingly close to Kings Cross. Probably wouldn't be suitable for a long stay, but perfect for a couple nights - would definitely book again!

    Joanna2019-07-31T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic host, good communication, very nice and clean place in a great location. Richard was extremely flexible with checking in and out timings. I would definitely stay there again!

  • Private room in Camden - no frills but exactly as expected. I enjoyed my stay.

    Olivia2019-04-13T00:00:00Z
  • Even before I arrived, they contact me and told me how to come there and find the house. What a service!? From the beginning they have been warm and friendly, as we would know each other already. My sweet room was really comfortable, lovely decorated and totally perfect for my vacation. The bed was so cosy, I was sleeping better than at home! The guesthouse is in a good condition, all is very clean, tidy and with a good smell. The house is cleaned every day and if you have some questions there is always someone to contact and you're getting soon answer. The other people of the house were very nice, so that you don't need to feel alone. My next stay in London I'd sleep again in this beauty place together with the sweet birds! All my friends I would advise this house, cause it was just the best place I could have! Thanks a lot for everything and I wish you always nice and good people in your home... Hopefully we will see us again! <3

  • Always a great stay.

    Luis2017-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • Vivian and Alex were great! The room is exactly as described. It is very quaint and cozy. The rack and dresser are perfect for singular stays. Most nights were very quiet, so I slept well enough. They were kind enough to let me use some soap for laundry, offered me tea, and also gave me some sandwich stuff when I woke up feeling nauseous as I fell asleep without eating and didn't know of anything open at 4am. Alex even let me use his laptop briefly when I was trying to upload video from my phone and it kept failing. They are very nice people and keep a clean house. I would definitely stay there again.

    Sarah2015-10-25T00:00:00Z

  • Very good room for spend the nights on city holidays. Few improvements for door locking would be nice to get, but over all good experience. Thanks Lisa.

    Riku2018-10-26T00:00:00Z
  • Lisa's apartment is positioned in an old council estate which outside doesn't represent how good the apartment is inside. Access to the property was easy with the use of a key safe. My apartment (A) was rather large and overlooked a small garden at the rear of the property. WiFi was excellent (c. 100 Mbps). The single bathroom was upstairs and my own door was lockable. The apartment, given it's next to the canal and away from the main road was actually a lot quieter than I expected. I had to pay a few pounds extra for a towel which I would have been happy just bolting onto my total bill. For the price and location, a real find.

Our flat is located in the heart of London, within five to six minutes' walk from Kings Cross and St Pancras station. Its location is perfect for exploring all the sites and attractions of London including Big Ben, Covent Garden, The British Museum, Madame Tussauds, Buckingham Palace, the Tower of London, St Paul's Cathedral, Tate Modern and many more. Kings Cross and St. Pancras stations provide excellent transport links including the tube, bus, overground trains.
King’s Cross might be best known for King’s Cross and St Pancras stations (plus Harry Potter’s Platform 9¾), but there is much more to the area than travel and train timetables. Recent regeneration has made the area flourish. Bars and pubs in and around King’s Cross range from traditional to achingly hip, and the restaurants feature everything from British to Ethiopian cuisine. There are a host of other things to do as well, with outstanding clubs, music venues and museums nearby, much-loved green spaces, popular Granary Square and a pretty stretch of Regent’s Canal, all of which makes King’s Cross an ace destination in its own right. Clerkenwell is mainly known for its abundance of wonderful places to eat and drink, but there is also a variety of interesting things to do and see in this central neighbourhood. What makes this part of the city such a noteworthy place to visit is the wealth of history that its cobbled streets hold. Book a History Lesson A fascinating place for historians is the Museum of the Order of St John. Dating back to the sixteenth century, St. John’s Gate once formed the entrance to the Priory of Clerkenwell, which dates back even further, to the eleventh century. This was the headquarters of the ancient Order of St. John, where knights would set off to Israel, Cyprus, Rhodes, and Malta. The museum is open from Monday to Saturday from 10AM to 5PM, but a tour is recommended (Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays) for an informative and educational visit. For more of a literary experience, The Charles Dickens Museum is just down the road. Visit the author’s beautiful townhouse on Doughty Street for an insight into his life and the inspiration behind his famous works. If it’s good shopping that you look for in an area, the small-village feel of Clerkenwell adds charm to its array of delightful independent shops. Design specialist Magma, on Clerkenwell Road, shouldn’t be missed; it has a diverse collection of magazines, DVDs, toys, pinhole cameras, and a series of limited-edition posters. Exmouth Market is a must for gift shops; head to In With The Old for some lovely stocking fillers this Christmas. London is hardly short on food markets as it is, but Clerkenwell has three of the best in the city. Famous Smithfield Market, a Grade II listed building, was designed by a Victorian architect in the nineteenth century. It is not only the design of this market that is fascinating, though; Smithfield is now the city’s main wholesale market, known mainly for its daily cuts of exquisite, quality meat. For a quick market lunch, don’t miss Leather Lane, historically a bric-a-brac market, but now the epicenter of street food in central London, with stalls serving cuisine from Mexico, Thailand, India, Indonesia, and Greece, among other nations. Exmouth Market is a calmer option during the midweek lunchtime rush; Culture Trip advises trying Hummus Bros for a delicious Levantine lunch. Once home to hundreds of Italian families that migrated to London in the 1870s, Clerkenwell still has the Italian charm that was brought to it all of those years ago. The city’s oldest Italian delicatessen is situated on Clerkenwell Road, next to the beautiful St Peter’s Roman Catholic Church. Terroni is the perfect place to pick up cured meats, cheese, and pasta or just grab a coffee in a unique, continental setting. It is no secret that tourists flock to Farringdon station on the weekend, making their way to London’s most famous nightclub. Fabric hosts world famous DJs and is open until 6AM, giving its guests the opportunity to literally dance all night.
  • Great location near St Pancras.

  • Nice simple room in a good area of London!

    Maria2019-07-11T00:00:00Z
  • The one advantage of this spot is it’s proximity to public transportation. There is also an attractive area on the other side of the train station. We found a lovely Indian restaurant there. We were disappointed that the photo was so different from the actual accommodations. The room is extremely small and well worn. It was so small, it was actually difficult to get to the other side of the bed. We shared a bathroom with 4 other tenants. But everything was clean, and our host was nice.

  • Great convenient place to stay!!

  • Best value for money in London.

    Iulian2019-06-18T00:00:00Z
  • Charlie communicates through giant inbox messages, I never spoke with him directly as he refuses to answer calls. Room is hard to find, grimey & insecure.

    Dudley2019-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • Charlie gave very detailed instructions on how to find the accommodation and tips on what to see around the area. The room is a very good value for what you get. There is no kitchen but there is a fridge, microwave and kettle provided if needed. Great place for a solo traveler!

    Carolyn2018-02-13T00:00:00Z
  • Charlie's place is exactly what I needed as an early 20-something traveling solo - somewhere safe and affordable in London, within a reasonable distance from public transport and the cultural hub of Camden. The building itself is older, but Charlie obviously puts work into keeping it as clean and hospitable as possible. The room is really just a bed and a door that locks, which is all I needed it to be. And on top of that, his communication was stellar. All of his check-in notes and in-flat guidelines were so detailed, I had no doubt about any part of the process. Cheers, Charlie. And thanks for the in-room tea!

    Kayla2018-10-08T00:00:00Z
  • I would recommend for few nights

    Lara2019-02-08T00:00:00Z
  • About 15min walk from both Kings Cross and Camden Town station. Room was very small, suitable only for 1 person as there is no luggage space. The apartment is on the top floor and there are a few flights of stairs.

    Michaela2018-01-22T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed for one night before heading out again from Euston, it was perfect for me. However, the window frame was quite moldy, and the bed wasn't so comfortable. Also, it's on the top floor (I believe it's 3rd floor) with stairs only. If you have heavy suitcases by yourself, it can be a bit annoying. However, overall, very cheap price in central London, perfect for people who need that.

  • Jennie is an excellent host. When I could not find the entrance she came to look for me even if she’d sent me a map. Her place is roomy and great value - excellent location near Kings Cross. If available I’ll be back ...

This single bedroom has wall to wall carpet on floors throughout, tastefully decorated and a shared bathroom. There is not a self catering option and no kitchen facilities apart from a mini fridge, kettle. Gray's Inn Road is located just 30 seconds away from King's Cross St Pancras Station with convenient access to St Pancras International. Please be advised there is a security cameras at the main doors and on the stairs recording 24/7
Relatively cheap rents and a central London location make King's Cross attractive to artists and designers, attractions and cultural establishments: a major arts centre, Kings Place, next to the Regent's Canal hosts numerous art, music, live comedy and cultural events throughout the year both Antony Gormley and Thomas Heatherwick have studios in the area The London Sinfonietta and the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment are both based here, alongside the Pangolin Sculpture Gallery; Central St Martins College of Art and Design has taken up residence in the Granary Building, which looks out over Granary Square, a new public space decorated with more than 1,000 coloured fountains the cutting-edge Gagosian Gallery moved its main London premises to King's Cross in 2004. Kings Cross has a heritage of nurturing arts and culture. The British Library is located next to St Pancras Station, displaying some of the world's most famous written and printed items, such as the Magna Carta (1215) and Shakespeare's First Folio. The London Canal Museum commemorates the importance of London's canals. The fascinating Foundling Museum tells the story of the Foundling Hospital, London's first home for abandoned babies. The area also features a number of theatres, including the Shaw Theatre and the Bloomsbury Theatre. The Camley Street Natural Park is a great way to escape the hustle and bustle of King's Cross: spot wildlife, relax by the pond and learn more at the park's visitor centre. The peaceful St Pancras Old Church is also worth a visit: look out for the Grade I listed mausoleum of Sir John Soane, which inspired the design of London's red telephone boxes. Eat, drink and party in King's Cross King's Cross is full of lively bars, some of which are relatively new to the area, such as, the Spanish Camino, Drink Shop Do and VOC. If you're feeling peckish, there is a great selection of restaurants, including the Caravan cafe, Golden Arrow at Pullman London St Pancras or Bruno Loubet’s Grain Store. Pubs in the area include The Lighterman, The Fellow, and The Driver. For a quick snack at lunch, the Sourced Market in St Pancras International station offers a diverse range of gourmet foods. Alternatively, the exquisite St Pancras Renaissance Hotel – which was originally built by Sir George Gilbert Scott, and saved from demolition by Sir John Betjeman, despite his comment that it was "too beautiful and too romantic to survive" – is the perfect place to treat that special someone: take them for drinks in the Booking Office bar, or for a meal at The Gilbert Scott. You'll also find an all-day restaurant, Plum + Spilt Milk, in the historic Great Northern Hotel, London's first railway hotel. King's Cross is a great place to party! The Scala and the Big Chill House are both in close proximity. Venture a bit further north for Egg, a three-floor club venue with a great outdoor area for lounging. King's Cross is just a short walk from Euston Station – find out more about hotels and attractions near Euston. The King's Cross Partnership was established to fund regeneration projects and the first stage is now open to the public. You can find out more about the current redevelopment at the King's Cross Visitor Centre.
  • Very close to st pancras and clean, but very small and noisy from bathroom and ventilation Good for the price

    Simone2019-06-10T00:00:00Z
  • Great place for a single visitor. Great communication, easy check in, super clean. There are two bathrooms - one with a shower and toilet, the other just a toilet. Was never an issue using either. Overall great stay. Thanks again Omar!

  • Very cosy! Close to everything.

    Nicolene2019-06-20T00:00:00Z
  • Good location, a few minutes walk from King's Cross tube station. I stayed at room #9 on the last floor. There is quite a bit of stairs to get to it up a narrow corridor so it may be a problem for anyone carrying heavy luggage. The room is small but clean and has all the basic utilities. Overall, I would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to sleep over in central London.

    Darko2019-05-16T00:00:00Z
  • Couldn’t be better located, just minutes away from King’s Cross station so if you need a private place to shower and lay your head for a night and don’t want to deal with the crowds of hostels, this is a good option.

    Beth2019-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed there during the heatwave. I'm not claustrophobic but the room is really tiny, it was suffocating. The ventilation you can see above the hangers on one of the pictures is condemned. I could barely breathe, even with the window open all night. It would have been nice to at least have a fan. The room is on the third floor and accessible through a very narrow staircase. I wonder what would happen in case of fire... I didn't feel safe. Positive points: The location is great, easy check in and check out (I didn't meet Omar, you access the building and room with codes) and the room and bathroom were very clean. Omar provided info right after I booked.

This is a spacious and bright double room in zone 1 very close to King's Cross station (9 min walk). Camden Town, British Museum within walking distance. Famous Regent's Canal is just 1 minute away with many artisan coffee shops, restaurants & art galleries. Waitrose Supermarket is just across the apartment Direct metro link to all London attraction points as Tower Bridge, Big Ben, Westminster, London Eye, Oxford Street, Hyde Park and more.
Central location at the very heart of London. King's Cross's super access to many of the underground lines makes your visit efficient. (Northern, Picadilly, Victoria & Circle-Hammersmith & Metropolitan lines) Transportation: Direct trains to Heathrow, Gatwick and Luton Airports. Easy reach to Stansted and City Airports.
  • It's a big comfortable room, it has a nice view and is in a good location too walk around the city or take the underground, it worked great. You share the place with some other people but they were nice too.

  • Nice location, 8 minutes walking to Kings Cross station. Apartment is really neat. Only issue was the bed, it has some loosen boards for support that make a lot a lot of noise when you move so at night time it is very annoying. Great value for price, recommended place!!

  • Spacious and quiet place.

    Ajith2018-10-26T00:00:00Z
  • The actual location is great. The place is a short walk to the train station and easy access to restaurants and shops. The apartment outside was unkept with three trash cans over flowing out front. Note the bathroom is shared by a family and another renter. You have to buy your own towels? This was a surprise for us and thought that would be part of the cleaning service. Location was great but apartment was just okay.

  • Amazing cute and comfortable place with a great location. A stones throw from central and J was accommodating and helpful for every thing I needed!

    Kirthana2019-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • Overall good stay, good value for money. Excellent localisation, walking distance from Kings Cross-St. Pancras, which gives you easy access to the whole city. The area is full of bars and restaurants, and yet the flat itself is in a quiet location, next to the pleasant Regent's Canal. Do take into consideration though that this is a room in a shared house - we had 5 more people staying in other rooms, which meant that there were sometimes queues to the shower, the kitchen was a bit crowded and we got woken up by people going to the toilet next to the room early in the morning.

    Daniel2019-06-09T00:00:00Z

Please see other listings on my profile for reviews on the same boat I’m listing here. Had to re list as Airbnb will only let people rent there places for 90 days max with each listing, hence why I don’t have any reviews on here yet luxury house boat situated in Islington central london, ideal for sight seeing and enjoying the wonders of one of the greatest cities in the world. Minutes away from cosmopolitan Islington, with its vast array of wonderful pubs, shops and restaurants, you’ll
escape from the city to the tranquility of the river knowing that the hustle and bustle of city life is only a stones throw away. The boat is fully centrally heated and has all mod cons.

    Paul2019-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • Matthew's boat is a great place to stay is you want something private, distinctive and close to Central London. There is a good sized living room, kitchen and bedroom. The bed and sofa are very comfortable. But staying on the canal is of course the key feature. We stayed for a wondered night in August when we were able to sit out on the prow and listen to the live music played early evening from the roof of the floating bookshop Word on the Water which is just on the opposite bank. Moored on the section of the Regent's Canal at King's Cross, the boat is perfectly located for the bars, restaurants and shops of Granary Square, and to move around London, it is only five minutes walk to the nearest tube at KIng's Cross/St. Pancras.

Welcome to my lovely and restful room! It's located in a great location, 5 min walking away to King's Cross / St. Pancras International Station. There're 2 rooms in the flat for Airbnb guests. • Ezra's flat is very well located but very old and slightly run down. The flat was not entirely clean (very sticky floor). The check in instructions were not clear - the host told me to get the wrong key. On top of that the key would not lock my bedroom door. I tried calling Ezra a few times as well as texting him but he only responded 6 hours later. Overall I would not recommend this place for more than one night !

    Katie2019-06-06T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent location! Ezra was a helpful host. We rented the room for 5 people and it was too crowded. If you don't mind that, the place is fine. Also, there is only 1 bathroom, and the apartment has 2 rooms (8 people in total). The bright side, the building has a lift so you don't have to carry the luggage though the stairs :) Overall a nice stay that I would repeat (maybe just for 3 people instead of 5)

    Carolina2019-09-08T00:00:00Z

  • Dirty - ill equipped - and extremely basic. If you don’t mind roughing it, then this very small flat is the place for you. Andrei ‘s flat (if it is even his) does not live up to the standards I expect of Airb&b. Even basic standards - the cooker is dirty and unsafe - the kitchen is ill equipped - the bathroom is dirty and an over the bath shower with dirt fabric shower curtain. We had a water leak from the flat above for the whole 4 days we were there - keeping us awake at night and rotating sodden towels to soak up water. Lock to entrance of close was unreliable - and Yale to flat very loose, so a security risk. Strange men hanging around the front door to pass on messages from host was very unnerving and scary. This host needs to up his game to get to a basic standard expected by guests.

Needs a couple of bits like a lighter to light the gas grill and parking scratch cards for during the week. Andrei was very helpful when I messaged. Sainsburys is just round the corner too. And parking right outside the flat. Bit noisy in the morning, but otherwise a very convenient place to stay. Thanks

Enjoy a warm welcome to a comfortable room in a friendly houseshare in Zone 1, very close to Kings Cross, the Eurostar, Camden and Euston. Play pinball in a refurbished open-plan living space and garden, and help yourself to free breakfast + BEER!
Very central large recently refurbished townhouse in Kings Cross. The house is shared with myself and other airbnb guests, and is relaxed, friendly and fun! The bedroom is comfy and the shared bathrooms are newly decorated. The ground floor is a big open-plan space with a sunny garden, a cool kitchen with an American fridge full of water and beer to help yourself to. There's a pinball machine set to freeplay and a big-screen tv with sky movies. Finally, I'm a very friendly host and am always up for a beer and a chat! You will be given your own fob and key for anytime access. This is a friendly houseshare, but your bedroom is private and you won't be disturbed if you prefer privacy. Vibrant, funky and very close to the west end. Kings Cross is the best-connected transport hub in london! Fun and friendly host! You will be given your own fob and key for anytime access. • Great host who is very welcoming. Perfectly situated near Kings Cross/St Pancras so great access to anywhere. Good room with top notch facilities. Would definitely recommend staying her and would book again

  • Convenient location and very quick communication!

    Andrew2018-03-19T00:00:00Z
  • Thanks to Paul for making my first Airbnb experience a good one. The house was lovely, and totally spotless. He provided towels, shower gel, breakfast, even beer on arrival and disposable slippers! My only complaint was the broken TV box but that was the fault of a previous guest and didn't affect the quality of our stay at all. Wouldn't hesitate to book again!

    Sarah2018-01-09T00:00:00Z
  • Paul is king.

  • Thanks for your hospitality during our short trip to London. We thought your house was in a great location for exploring the city. The facilities and 'add ons' were greatly received. It was a very hot day and cooled bottle water or the offer of a beer was superb. In addition to this the fan in our bedroom was well needed given the weather. We thoroughly enjoyed chatting and chilling with you on our evening return. If we ever find our selves in London and in need of accommodation we will definitely contact you again. All the best Beckie and Chris.

  • Excellent location, you can't be any closer from St Pancras Intl station. Clean and well decorated house. Paul is a really cool and friendly host.

    Yannick2017-01-11T00:00:00Z
  • Paul's place was perfect for our needs. We needed a comfortable place to stay, it was close to the St. Pancras train station, there was beer in the fridge, and other friendly guests staying there. We had a nice chat with Paul's mum when she stopped by to change out linens. The kitchen is equipped so it's easy to cook up something to eat. We would have loved to enjoy the back patio, but it was a bit of a cold rainy weekend. Overall a great stay!

  • S&D's place was ideal for an overnight stay in the city centre. The check-in process was straightforward, and the room was very comfortable and clean. There was a little noise from other guests coming/going late in the evening and early in the morning, but nothing too disruptive. I'd be happy to stay here again. Thanks!

  • Love the location of Shen & Dido’s place! Very near King’s Cross especially if you are travelling outside London. Very easy to go to airport and any other location within the city because of the tube lines. They are both friendly too. Answered all my questions and also printed a copy of my tour voucher! I really recommend the place for solo or couple travellers.

  • Nice place at a good price

    Jason2019-06-07T00:00:00Z
  • I would not recommend. The apartment is located in a very dangerous part of London. There are people screaming all night outside, and it was not safe to walk around outside the apartment after dark. On top of that, the window did not lock, so, that made us feel very uneasy. The apartment is clean, although the area around it is dangerous, and the window did not lock. The blinds did not completely cover the window either, and this apartment was on the ground floor. I would not recommend at all, and I will NOT be back.

  • Yun is a an amazing host. I really enjoy staying at her Airbnb.

    Pom2019-10-01T00:00:00Z
  • Good location, bus stop across the street. Station quite a walk away. Sorry I never got to meet my host in 3 days. Room OK (quilt should be larger size for a double bed) but bathroom could have been cleaner, flush too weak, and you have to wait too long to flush a second time. Lighting system in the narrow staircase too short, leaves you in the dark half way up. I got to discover a part of London I didn’t know by staying there, that‘ s very positive.

  • Good value for the money. Its what you get on the tin. Is it a luxury hotel...no. But the location is great and teh communication around check in is good to. The bathroom is a bit basic and shared by 1 to many rooms but other than that, I cant really complain. Especially for the money.

  • The flat was only 2 minutes away from Euston station and 4-5 minutes from Kings Cross, which was really good. Beside of the fact that the room was quite small, it was neatly and cozy. We had to share the bathroom with 6-8 other persons, so it was quite dirty and because of the badly soundproofed walls it was quite loud.

    Janine2019-06-18T00:00:00Z
  • This place was great! In a well connected area, easy check in, and a nice and clean space. The room is small but quite comfortable, fit two of us perfectly!

  • If u come London, Mr Hikmet’s rooms will be best choice. They are much bigger as well as cheaper compared to the others. What’s more, it is near Kings X station so it’s really convenient in traffic! Mr Hikmet is a gentleman who is so kind and warm hearted!

  • Finding a place to stay in London can be tricky. On one hand of the spectrum it is possible to stay at a youth hostel and whilst it is cheap, it can be super busy and it is common to have an awful night being in a dormitory. On the other hand, you can stay at a hotel but it can be super expensive and not necessarily great, in space and cleanliness. Basil's place is right in between, affordable, not big, but clean and providing some privacy to relax in the evenings. There is a desk, well located near Kings's cross. I will come back as it was a positive experience.

    Lorene2019-06-18T00:00:00Z
  • Super located place, right next to King's Cross station. Very simple and quick check-in/out procedure. Clean and well stocked with essentials - I even managed to pick up a toothbrush which I forgot to bring with me. Would stay here again.

    Dalibor2019-07-15T00:00:00Z
  • This place is very central and Convenience to get to all attractions. Basil is a great host, quick response to all questions and needs. I stayed in room #3 for 5 nights, it’s small but good enough for me since I’m a petite lady and travel by myself. I didn’t like the fact that I shared the two toilets with 4 other rooms which can be up to 10 people, male and female at a time. Basil said, sometime he cleans the toilets twice a day, and he keeps it as clean as he can. Overall, this is a good value place to stay in London, but I will pay a little more to have my own bathroom next time.

  • Host was incredibly welcoming and after a long train ride was extremely grateful for the help. Place was really convenient and near to the tube as i had an early flight and had to leave early in the morning. The place was extremely safe as well. Very cosy would definitely book this place again

  • Good location which you can easily find it out. Warm-hearted host who guided me to the location though I arrived late at night and also gave me some suggestions on the local travel in a short day. The only thing that is a little unsatisfying is that I can sometimes heard the noise from the neighbors, but that didn’t matter much.

The location is perfect as well for London sight seeing~~~~ Thank you so much for your hospitality. See you soon again~~~

• Great communication with both hosts and Jane was at the accommodation when I arrived to let me know everything I needed to know. Location was great and easy to get to. Room was great with a great view and bed was really comfy. Bath was very high and hard to get in and out of. Other guests were very loud throughout the night and also other people in the flat. Enjoyed my stay though and would definitely come back.

  • Just like the pics. Jane and Mustafa was super nice and quick to answer my questions. Easy to find and quiet neighborhood (seemed safe). The nearest bus stop only has two buses but great connection to Kings Cross. I also walked with a small suitcase to Kings Cross and had no problem. Would love to have a mirror in the room tho!

  • It's a really nice place to live for any kinds of travelers as it is close to the kings' cross station. Jane is a really good landlord for her useful help and quick responses. Highly recommend this room!

  • Room is small, house is noisy and hot, and the toilet is shared with other 5 rooms (not specified in the description). Only the position was great. For the rest clean the room, but common spaces not cleaned properly. Not reccomanded, cause it isn't even cheap.

  • Jane was extremely helpful when I arrived to the apartment. She was waiting for me to explain me every detail of the house. Then when I didn’t know how to open the door, I asked her for help and she immediately responded my message. I loved the Jane’s apartment because it’s located in a very strategic place. It was clean, as well as the bathroom. If you’re looking for something clean, cheap and well situated, go to this place!

  • Very good location

    Xinshi2019-07-06T00:00:00Z
  • The window opens on the back of a Chinese restaurant, so you will have to choose between an extremely warm temperature inside the room and a terrible smell if you open the window

  • The location can't be more perfect, and the room is very private. I recommend this place, that was my 2nd visit there.

  • This place is pretty awesome. Great location, easy self check in with keypad entry to building, unit, and your room door. Very clean room with mini fridge and plate/cups/coffee/tea/hot water heater in room as well. Couple of minor things about the space to know. The walls are pretty thin and my room, unfortunately, was right next to the bathroom so every time someone went in there I heard the door open, close, lock, toilet flush, sink run, unlock, door open. And that’s a lot of times because there’s 3 rooms on the floor I was on. There’s also some weird humming noise that goes on and off periodically? I’m honestly not sure if it was from the building or outside, it is located in the middle of the city, but I could definitely hear it even with ear plugs in. They also offered a clean towel and while there were two hanging on my door when I checked in, one of them was wet so I’m not sure either were clean and ended up using my own towel I had packed. All in all those are very minor things for an all around great place and awesome host. Omar is quick in responding and was kind enough to let me check in a little early to drop off my bags. Definitely recommended!

  • Excellent location, professional and efficient host, simple but perfectly equipped bedroom with kettle, mini fridge, plate, mug, and cutlery in the room. Well heated with control of the thermostat in the room Location is safe, and is busy at all times so you can walk around at night safely. The apartment is a little noisy - not from the street, but from the other apartments in the building as the walls are thin. This didn’t bother me much though. Would definitely stay again
