Lovely room in house, in Southville area of Bristol. Only 5 mins walk to the Docks area, and 10-15 mins to the city centre, across the small river. Also, it's 10 mins walk the other way to the North Street area, with its variety of independent shops & cafes etc.
You will find a very comfortable double mattress, a clean room with towels and hairdryer provided. There is a good shower & bath.
The City Centre is an easy walk away. For example, in 7 mins you can be at the M-Shed museum, 10 mins at the Arnolfini Gallery, on the on the docks. A 14 minute walk will take you to the Waterfront area, where there is the Watershed arthouse cinema and many pubs and bars along the harbourside. You can also walk to King St in 15 minutes, where there are lots of historical pubs and bars, and free live music in the evenings. I have listed various places of interest (some bars, restaurants, galleries etc) on my 'Guidebook' function, on the top right of the page here. They are all places that I've been to and recommend for this reason, and are within walking distance around the city. There is a large supermarket only 8 mins walk away, a great local organic deli 10 mins walk away (on North St), and a swimming pool 10 minutes walk away. There are also other local food shops in Bedminister and Southville (quite nearby).

This is a small light room with a single futon bed, a desk AND a cat door for my black cat to go in and out of...! Please be aware there is a curtain to this room instead of a door! The flat is surrounded by trees and is quiet and peaceful, about 20 minutes walk to the University, Clifton and central Bristol. There are no cooking facilities. There is a kettle & teas. There is a bath and shower. Enquire if you need different checking in times. Local shops and a bus stop are close by!
Please be aware that my cat will be going in and out of your room because the cat flap is at the bottom of the bed! It is also a very light room in the morning particularly in summer. My flat is just below Clifton Suspension Bridge and Bristol University. Please contact me before booking if you have a specific check in time, I will be as flexible as I can but I am not always available.
It's peaceful, green, close to bus stops to central Bristol. The river is close by, plenty of nice cafes and restaurants in Clifton. It will feel private, calm and comfortable.

Room in top (third) floor flat of Georgian terrace. WARNING: there are 63 STEPS TO CLIMB and there is NO ELEVATOR. If you have HEALTH OR MOBILITY RESTRICTIONS this is not for you, sorry. One room for your use with double bed, table, TV, WiFi, share kitchen and shower room with toilet and washing machine. Modern kitchen. Compact but functional, clean, quiet. Central heating. Come and go at any time. We are in a Residents' Parking Zone (Clifton and Hotwells), daily visitor's permits available.
Top floor flat in Georgian terrace (the servants' quarters, up under the roof), built about 1792. This is Airbnb, a house share not a hotel. There is not much common space so if you feel uncomfortable around strangers this may not be for you. Warm, clean and functional. Quiet. Set up for working or visiting. Far enough from the Centre, University etc to be peaceful and easy to park but within walking distance (20-30 minutes to most). Within easy walking distance (5-10 minutes) of shops and bus and taxi stops. Quiet residential street. Views across South Bristol to Dundry and Mendip Hills.
Shops in Clifton Village (5-10 minutes up the hill) including Tesco, Co-op, Delis, Late store/Post Office, Charity shops (6), restaurants (Fish'n'chips, Indian, Thai, Fish, Pizza..), cafes and coffee shops (35 at last count..) Brunel's Suspension Bridge (of course) about 5 minutes walk up the hill and round the corner. Clifton Downs start at the Bridge and extend miles along the River Avon, which meets the harbour exit at the bottom of the hill (5 minutes). You can cross the harbour and walk along the river, stroll along the harbour side into the Centre, , Watershed, Arnolfini, restaurants, clubs, take the cross-harbour ferry to the SS Great Britain and The Matthew, yeah lots of stuff.. You can stroll to Bristol Zoo in 20-25 minutes or take the bus from Clifton Village. Bus stops in Clifton Village for the City Centre, Redland, Zoo, bus and railway stations and University campuses. Catch the ferry along the harbour from the bottom of the hill (5-10 minutes) to SS Great Britain, Centre and Temple Meads Rail Station. The original Bristol Hotwells was a competitor to Bath Spa but fell from fashion; the site is located below the Suspension Bridge but it is somewhat blighted by the Portway (the main road to Avonmouth and the M5). Clifton is largely Georgian and Victorian. There are small corners of older building that precede the Georgian building boom of the mid to late 18th century. Across the Suspension Bridge are Ashton Court and Leigh Woods; you can walk, cycle easy paths or tackle mountain bike trails, some of which are challenging.

A cozy, welcoming basement space awaits you in this Grade II listed flat located on Clifton's iconic Royal York Crescent. With your own private entrance, this space is quite a find! As you enter, you are greeted by a surprisingly light and airy room with white washed stone walls. The room has 1 double bed, private bathroom, fridge, work desk and tea/coffee making facilities.
Located on the road level, the entrance to property is through a keypad gate. This code will be given to you on arrival. There are uneven stairs down to the basement (as shown) and therefore it is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. The floor is uneven consisting of flagstones with colourful rugs. Due to the age of the property (nearly 200 years) the ceiling height varies, from 2m (6'8") in the front bedroom area to 1.8m(6' 2") in the bathroom. There is a small fridge and tea/coffee facilities but no kitchen. There are plenty of shops and eateries located within a 5 minute walk.
5 minutes walk from the heart of Clifton Village, bus route and the Suspension Bridge, this little hideaway is a great base to explore what Bristol has to offer. If you're looking for somewhere to explore from or just to get away from it all, this is the perfect choice.

The twin room has 1 x conventional bed and 1 x sofa bed which is made up whenever required for the second guest. This is our family home and currently my youngest daughter, her husband and their little one are living with me as they relocate to Bristol from London. They are both working in Bristol since April 2018. They are selling their home in London and looking to buy a home in Bristol as they have decided to make Bristol their home. With views of the famous Clifton Suspension Bridge, this is a spacious, light attic room in a four storey Victorian house, on a quiet street in a great area, very close to Bristol city centre. The room comfortably sleeps two and is spacious. There's also a desk and sofa in the room. Relaxed, friendly family home.
Proximity to Temple Meads Station and Bristol City Centre/Docks area. Great local amenities which include The Tobacco Factory Theatre and a great choice of bars, decent restaurants and independent shops. Shower room and bathroom; kitchen; dining room. I'm more than happy to advise on the local area. It's a friendly and relaxed household but there's plenty of space and privacy, too. It's very close to Bristol city centre and there's lots going on. It's a short walk to the Centre, there are plenty of buses and about a fifteen minute walk to Bristol Temple Meads train station. Check in time is negotiable. Check out time would usually be midday but I can be flexible about this, depending on whether new guests are due that day. There is on street parking (not on the premises. We have Residents' Parking in place 9am-5pm Monday-Friday. If you have a car and are staying for a short time, I have daily visitors' permits, either free or £1 per day, according to availability. There is free parking evenings and weekends after 5pm and I can advise on other places to park free quite nearby.
It's a friendly, creative area, with plenty of decent places to eat nearby. There's a good range of shops (independent ones, supermarkets, deli) on the doorstep and two pleasant local parks. Bristol is a great City to stroll around and the house is very close to Bristol city centre and the Harbourside so the culture and sights are very accessible.

Ideally located in Bedminster, near local pubs and restaurants, this is a great place to stay for business/leisure with easy access to the city centre and beyond. It's a super little place with all that you could want for a comfortable stay. It's worth knowing that this is also my home for some of the time (when you stay, you will have the whole place to your self), this means that it is set up as a home rather than a guest house and will have all the home comforts that you may need.
Check out Tin Can Coffee for a great cuppa. Walking distance to the city centre (20 minute walk) There is a brilliant pub quiz on a Tuesday at the Spotted Cow (pub at the end of the road). Lots going on in and around North St: theatre, Sunday Market, live music, great bakery (Mark's Bread), Comedy Club and lovely, local independent shops.

Single bedroom in a beautiful flat on the Harbourside in Bristol. Great location, within walking distance of the city centre, Ashton gate stadium, Clifton Suspension Bridge and Wapping Wharf. Perfect for solo travellers looking for a quiet hub to retreat to after a day spent seeing the sights Bristol has to offer.
The living room is clean and spacious, and has a beautiful view of the river and gets lots of light in through the window, the perfect place to chill on a summer's day, or get up nice and early and watch people's sailing fails over a cup of tea. The amenities are all communal, with a working shower, oven and washing machine, all of which you are welcome to use.
The neighbourhood is special as it's quiet and peaceful, while being in walking distance of many of Bristol's sights. As it's so near the river, its the perfect location for sitting and watching the boats pass, having a riverside picnic or heading to one of the local pubs that look out over the water. There are often events such as sailing races on the river and nearby Bristol harbourside events. If you are the outdoor type, there are pleasant walks to Long Ashton through the nearby woods, or up through the houses to look out from the Clifton suspension bridge.

We live in a bright airy house, and very peaceful area within Southville / Ashton area, nearby Ashton Gate Stadium - about 15 minutes walk. Ashton court (where the international balloon fiesta is held yearly) is about 20-25 minutes from our house. Our home is shared with our 21 year old son. People from all backgrounds are welcome - male, female, couple, student, travellers for study, leisure and work.
Double small room. Prefers ONE guest only. BUT.... can accommodate couple on a futon bed or x2 persons separate bed arrangement - one on single bed and one single very comfortable mattress on the floor (which make the room less spacious when having x2 persons). Weak wifi signal but able to use the 2nd sitting room with stronger signal. The room can get cold at night but there is a radiator with centralised heating over the winter which is automatically set for few hours in the morning and night. Extra blanket can be provided. A downstairs toilet is available.
Really quite and peaceful neighbourhood. We are about 5 minutes walk from trendy North Street in Ashton/Southville area. Local pubs/bars, restaurants, take aways shop, cafes, butcher, green grocer, bakeshops, deli store, supermarket within 5-10 minutes walk. Nearby parks about 5-10 minutes walk, Or Ashton Court for about 20-25 minutes walk. Easy off street parking is available at all times within the nearby premises.

You can find live music most nights within easy walking distance, there's a Sunday market filled with local crafts, food and vintage stalls.

Beautiful historic Hotwells apartment, Bristol, located on Harbourside and at the foot of Clifton Village.
Light, airy space perfectly situated for exploring leafy Clifton and Bristol's dynamic Harbourside. This beautiful self-contained apartment is equipped with a fully-stocked kitchen/diner and living space, in an English Heritage grade II listed building dating back to 1763. Tall ceilings and big sash windows, this space is ideal for visitors who would like to be centrally located, yet in the quiet outskirts of the historic lower Clifton district of Hotwells. Please note that the apartment is very light and bright with no blinds - perfect for those who like to wake up naturally. This is currently my home so there will be a few personal belongings in the space, but you will have entire place to yourself and full use of amenities.
Hotwells is famous for it's colourful houses sat along the banks of Bristol's harbour. It is surrounded by excellent local pubs and just under Bristol's most iconic landmark, Brunel's Suspension Bridge.

Charming and elegant private basement flat in listed Georgian townhouse in quiet, leafy picturesque square; 10 minutes walk from Clifton Village. Very comfortable and cosy with central heating, wifi, TV, double bed - luxury linen and well-appointed small shower room. Cool in the summer; warm and cosy in the winter. If your car is essential we will provide visitor parking permits.
We think it's a great flat: a good size, peaceful location & very comfortable, especially the bed, luxury pillows & lovely Egyptian cotton. We've based it on our priorities when we're away! We provide bread, butter, home-made jam and marmalade, muesli and weetabix, plus teabags, ground coffee, milk, a bottle of wine and homemade chocolate brownies... and the kitchen is fully equipped if you want to cook. But there are lots of nice places to eat out nearby either in Clifton village (uphill), or around the Harbourside (downhill). In the sitting room there's Freeview TV and fast Wifi which reaches into the bedroom too. In case you need it there's also a washing machine & heated clothes airer plus an iron/ironing board. The shower room is small but warm and well-equipped with a powerful shower, make-up/shaving mirror and a good wall mounted mirror. The flat has its own private entrance down the basement steps from street level, which are quite steep, but with a good sturdy handrail and well lit. The bedroom door opens onto a very small courtyard below our back garden but guests are very welcome to use the large communal garden at the front of the house. We provide lots of information under 'house manual' on the flat listing (Airbnb make it available a few days before your arrival). It includes some general directions - which you should follow rather than the Satnav which takes you the wrong way! Also some parking advice (i.e. an alternative if our square is full), which steps are for our basement, the keysafe code, where to find the parking permits, WiFi code and more. There's also a photo guide for use on smart phones. Please do have a look - it will make for a smooth arrival and answer lots of those questions e.g. how do I get into the flat!
The flat is in a lovely position on a very quiet cul-de-sac, off a hill and facing a large grassy area with trees. In fact there are trees and gardens all around us which you can see from the various little paths, which wind up to Clifton Village. Cafes, restaurants, shops and Clifton's stunning Suspension Bridge are a ten minute walk, which begins with a steep climb up Granby Hill and left into Wellington Terrace but then levels out. The beautiful Downs stretch out from the bridge, or cut through Clifton village to head for the University and central Clifton around Whiteladies Road. Meanwhile ten minutes down the hill takes you to Bristol Harbourside and Docks. It's a lovely walk along the dockside all the way into the centre of Bristol, (with the option of a ferry across to the SS Great Britain).
