  • Patricia's home is one of the best values on Airbnb. Great location, hospitality and she provides everything a guest could possible need in her charming home!

  • I had a very good experience. I only stayed for a short period of fun time, (arrived late a night and left early in the morning,) but I had a good Beacon experience. The room is very close to the village so it was nice waking up early and taking a brisk walk to a coffee shop. I never actually saw my hosts in person. They just weren't there when I was there. This however, was not a problem. Patricia told me everything I needed to know and the door was left unlocked. They were very accommodating. Additionally for everything she didn't say, there were signs around the house giving me info. Overall, I had no trouble navigating the cozy home. There were only two main cons. First the bed was a bit short for me standing at 6'3''. However I'm used to that. Second, the floorboards in the room were super creaky and I was concerned I was going to wake someone up when I had to get up early in the morning. If I'm ever back in Beacon, I'd be happy to stay in Billie's room again.

  • The place was just as described and Patricia was a gracious host. Highly recommend

  • This was the absolute perfect place to stay for me. It’s close to the MetroNorth station on foot (it wasn’t an issue for me even with a big backpack) and close to Main Street on foot. The house has a lot of notices/signs for AirBnB guests so you know what to watch out for (e.g., please hang towels in the room, x is where the coffee/tea station is, etc.). I didn’t see the hosts (Tricia and Steve) while I was there, but it was ok as the signs/notices were very clear. And Tricia always got back to me quickly! I had some questions and Tricia responded timely and was responsive to my request. The house is close to 3 parks (Scenic Long Dock (behind the MetroNorth station), Denings and Madam Brett). I rented a bike from People’s Bicycle and hit up all 3 parks in half a day! If you’re into kayaking, that’s at the Scenic Long Dock as well. If you’re into massages, book with Melissa at Sacred Space Healing Arts on Main Street (you can book via their website!). I went for one massage and ended up booking another one the next day. She was absolutely amazing and just what I needed after all that biking! :) If you book with Melissa, let her know you read it here!! My favorite thing to do at the start and end of the day was to sit at the front porch (there’s also a backyard!) and look out at the front yard. Those times were so calming and grounding. I will book here again if I’m in Beacon! Thanks Tricia and Steve!

  • A lovely home of extremely kind people, our experience staying in this room was a wonderful one. Tricia and Steve, thank you so much for sharing your space with us! We so appreciated your help, hospitality and the ease that came with locating everything we needed, from towels to wifi to hot tea. Thank you :)

A spacious room with calming blue colors in a colonial house built in the late 1800s with a serene backyard. We're a quick walk to Main St. attractions, shops, and restaurants, and a stroll away from hiking trails. Come and unwind in Beacon!
The room is spacious but cozy, with a comfy bed, and desk. It gets lots of sunshine, and has a view of our backyard. The house is on a quiet street, but is smack dab in the middle of all the action Beacon has to offer: shops, hiking, and museums.
Beacon is a perfect blend of small town vibe and the vibrancy of NYC. Main St. is filled with small boutiques, record and book stores, ice cream shops, bars, and more. We live on a quiet street that's perfect for an evening stroll down side streets, and minutes from the hustle and bustle of Main St.
  • Great stay! Super friendly and accommodating hosts.

  • Awesome place, 5 minute walk from Main Street. Very homey and tastefully decorated place. Clean, bright, and spacious. Lots of nice small touches-water bottle by the bed, plenty of toiletries in the bathroom, etc. Highly recommended!

  • We had a really great stay- beautiful, clean place with a comfy bed and great water pressure :) The hosts are quick to respond, friendly, and accommodating. The location is 2-3 minute walk from Main Street and dead silent at night. Really great stay, planning to book with them again the next time I'm in the area.

A perfect place for a private individual/couple. Self check-in at your convenience. No interaction with me (the host) if you want to get away from it all. A minimalist space. Three walls of windows allows in plenty of natural light. Wake up to the sound of birds and go to bed to the sound of crickets. Located just 4 blocks north of Main St, you're walking distance to restaurants, shops and galleries. More than happy to provide recommendations upon request.
The room is newly renovated by yours truly, I'm slowly making the updates all around the house. The yard is a challenge for this former city dweller, but I am learning. If you see me it's most likely when I'm weeding. Furniture include a full size, firm bed (in replacement of the former futon bed), two armchairs, a bookcase and a coffee table. A/C and 2 giant ceiling fans to cool off and the house is shaded by 4 towering trees so it's usually 10 degrees cooler inside than the forecast temperature. A microwave, mini fridge, plates and utensils are available for use. Soap and sponge is provided for cleaning any used dishes. One parking space is available on my driveway, but there are plenty of street parking right in front and around my house.
My neighborhood is very suburban, you'll see dogs being walked, elderlies strolling and kids riding bikes on the street, cutting through a little block to get to the Memorial Park nearby (4 blocks away) or the highschool racetrack (2 blocks away). It's quiet at night, you might see some of my neighbors waving to you from their porch.
  • We really enjoyed our stay. The communication and check-in were very easy. We never met the host, because we had a private entrance. The place is a short walk away from downtown and I would definitely recommend it!

    Alexandra2019-07-26T00:00:00Z
  • A really quiet and sunny place. Thanks!

  • Basic but decent place to stay during a trip to Beacon. Lots of daylight, quiet green neighborhood and plants in the room are a nice touch!

    Eric2019-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • Great home-base for a weekend in Beacon! My girlfriend and I visited from NYC for some kayaking on the Hudson and leisurely strolling down Main Street. Vicky's sun room was very well located for both and we definitely look forward to staying here again! The photos do an excellent job illustrating the space, check-in was a cinch, and the abundance of natural light was amazing! We particularly liked the array of succulents on window sill, the book on Owls, and complimentary beverages in the refrigerator!

    Lou2019-06-30T00:00:00Z
  • Exactly as the post, clean, convenient and comfy! A slight walk from the main street, but nothing much to complain about. I got to coincidentally bump into Vicky during my stay and she was the loveliest host!

Steps from Main St, tucked cosily in the back of our home, is our bright and cheery sun room. The room has a private entrance, private bathroom, and a private deck with garden and mountain views.
Although located two blocks from Main St, the room is very quiet and peaceful. At night you can hear crickets chirping and see the stars from the large back window, deck, or yard. The recently renovated room is situated on the first floor and attached to the back of our home. It has its own private entrance, and bathroom with a deep-soaking tub. The giant window in back affords plenty of light and you will wake up to the sun rising. The room has a mini fridge and though there's no kitchen or tv, there are many restaurants and pubs just steps away. **We have three children three and under and you will be able to hear them at times. It borders a thick exterior wall and we have soundproofed the door that leads to the guest room. Guests have told us our place was quiet compared to their apartment but just so you know, if you are opposed to this it may not be the right place for you!
Our place is in the middle of everything: we are just steps from Main Street where there are coffee shops, farm-to-table restaurants, craft beer pubs, and vintage stores. It's a 20-minute walk to the Metro North station with trains leaving nearly every hour for Grand Central Terminal (the trip takes about 90 minutes). Other places of note: 5-minute drive or 30-minute walk to Dia:Beacon museum, Mt Beacon, and the trails along the river. 10-minute drive to Breakneck Ridge. 25-minute drive to Storm King across the Hudson river.
  • Larysa's place is amazing! It was so refreshing to escape the city and have a lovely backyard and patio to spend the morning. You are literally a second away from all the great stores on Main Street, parks, etc. Great people and Larysa made sure we were taken care!

    William2017-04-16T00:00:00Z
  • Such an amazing and relaxing experience. Larysa and her husband offered us rides and even took care of us when we were snowed in. The location is perfect even if you don't have a car since main st is just a block and a half away. Highly recommend!!!

  • We had a great stay. Recommended.

    Nathan2017-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • Larysa’s place was incredibly convenient to everything in Beacon. We walked everywhere. The space was clean, comfortable, and really felt like our own for 2 nights. The white noise machine was a really nice touch that showed she’s gone the extra mile in making her guests comfortable. Perfect for 1 or two people looking for a quick getaway. Definitely will be back soon!

    Lydia2019-02-12T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I were already in Beacon and wanted to extend our trip by another night . Since our current rental was occupied, I reached out to Larysa after reading the amazing reviews. She was very quick in her responses and I appreciate how she accommodated our request for an early check-in. The room was quiet, clean and we loved the minimalistic vibe. The bathtub was great for a nice soak and we enjoyed the private deck and seating area outside over a bottle of wine. It’s just a 5 min walk to the Main Street which makes it very convenient to access restaurants, supermarkets etc. Larysa was warm, friendly and gave us appropriate privacy. Would love to come back here!

    Saira2019-08-07T00:00:00Z
  • This spot is simple with thoughtful functional design that makes it perfect for a weekend getaway. The house is a block from Main Street where everything is and the private entrance with deck was perfect with coming and going as we pleased. The hosts were very friendly, cordial and communicative but gave us our privacy.

    Victoria2018-01-09T00:00:00Z
  • What a perfect spot for exploring Beacon, which has become my new favorite place. We took Metro North in from Grand Central. The house is an easy walk from the station, up and down Main St., to Dia:Beacon, and to several trails. Whatever your ideal small town weekend, you can do it from this home without a car. The room itself was perfect for us - bright and cozy with snuggly bedding, it was a wonderful place to come back to and flop down after a full day. We hope to be back soon!

    Andrea2018-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • Great place if you want to do everything! Really clean space and super sunny! Completely satisfied and the bathtub is amazing. I love everything about the minimalist space and even though it is smaller than your average studio, it feels spacious and lovely.

  • Lynn was very communicative and thoughtful. Check-in was easy and the apartment was both cozy and well-located. Plenty of amenities, and close to all that Beacon's Main St. has to offer.

    Graham2018-12-09T00:00:00Z
  • Clean, neat spot with plenty of space. Great location, and Lynn was easy to communicate with for check-in. Would recommend!

    Sheila2017-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • Having stayed with Lynn before, I knew it would be a good spot for my daughter, who needed a place to stay for a couple of days. Lynn opened up the necessary days for my daughter by turning the room around immediately, which was a lifesaver, as nothing else was available for that day in Beacon. As always, the place is charming, clean, comfortable and perfectly located on a quiet street only 2 blocks from Beacon's charming Main Street. We will always check with Lynn first when needing a place to stay in Beacon! She is a gracious and lovely host.

    Bebe2018-06-01T00:00:00Z
  • Lynn is an excellent host, and was very accommodating about our arrival time. The apartment is very comfortable, easy to find, and conveniently located. I only wish we had been able to spend more time in Beacon. She provides terrific information about local options.

  • The apartment was actually more spacious then it looks in the pictures. Everything was neat, tidy and laid out well. My 4 friends were visiting Beacon for the weekend and the location could not have been better. (Just 2 blocks from my home)

Although we traveled by car, we were able to walk to all of our desired destinations from the apartment. Lynn is a friendly and helpful host who welcomed us with information and recommendations. We'll stay there again next time!

  • Jessica was a lovely host -- very welcoming. The house is very convenient -- just half a block from Main street, and with ample on-street parking. The room is small but comfortable and clean, and Jessica invited us to use her kitchen, living room and yard as well. I finished the open can of coffee (with permission) one morning, and it was replaced by the next morning.

    Elizabeth2014-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • Jessica is a super sweet host and we had a wonderful time staying in her home in Beacon. The room was exactly as described and we had everything we needed in close proximity to the house. We would definitely stay in her home again.

  • Jessica is a great host! My friend and I spent the thanksgiving in her place. We totally felt at home. The house is super clean, and we found everything we wanted. The location is unbeatable: right at the center of main street, close to everything. Grocery store is right next door. Our room is a little bit small, but the common area of the house is great. We hangout in the living room a lot. Definitely recommended!

  • Jessica was very nice and the house was well kept. Perfect location for exploring Beacon!

    Alice2015-05-17T00:00:00Z
  • Jessica's home was such a perfect place for a sweet weekend getaway from NYC. Not only was her home comfortable and quaint, but the location could not have been better. My boyfriend and I were able to explore all that precious Beacon has to offer - on foot - from her great location right off of Main Street. We were able to partake in countless activities including exploring the Beacon Barks Dog Parade, a visit to Dia: Beacon, and a distillery tour while also having a comfortable home base to rest/nap/etc. Our stay couldn't have been better.

    Danielle2015-04-26T00:00:00Z
  • Things I will remember: Waking up and watching the impossibly tall bamboo waving with the wind. Jess' generous and attentive hosting. A house full of art and interesting objects. A really nice visit and so close to the main street and Beacon's charm.

It's a great place for anyone who wants to get out of the city, and catch-up with nature. The house was very close to Main St., a long strip of great restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and a great record store. Great stay, great location!

  • Tricia and family were very inviting and gracious hosts. The room and bed was very spacious and comfortable and they made me feel totally at ease, even inviting me to enjoy a beer and some homemade meatballs. They live and breathe Beacon so it was a nice way to get to know a bit about a place.

    Eyal2016-06-25T00:00:00Z
  • A home away from home... we had a fantastic long weekend in Beacon and staying at Patricia and Steve's house made our short vacation even better... I'd stay at their place again without hesitation... the beds are so comfortable and the bathroom is big and impeccably clean as well. The house's location is also nearby the train station and Main Street which add convenience if you're walking (like we did) everywhere. Sharing the bathroom with other guests was never an issue and communication with the hosts was excellent. We loved this charming house! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

  • I had a lovely time at Patricia's. I needed to clear my head and get out of the city for a couple of days, and her home provided the perfect spot to explore Beacon. Quick walk to lots of coffee shops and restaurants, as well as within walking distance of Dia: Beacon - it's a perfect little spot to crash at the end of the day without breaking the bank. She's also super friendly and provided lots of tips for the area and some great conversation. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend it!

  • Patricia is a friendly and wonderful host and her home is a in a great location just a few minutes from Main Street. We walked to restaurants for dinner and breakfast. Our room was clean and comfortable. It's not large, but cozy and fine for two people. It was a perfect place to spend two nights.

  • Patricia was so welcoming! The house is very charming and the room was cozy.

  • Patricia is a wonderful host and I really enjoyed my stay.

    Annemarie2018-10-10T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect location! I don’t know how to drive but those that do won’t even need a car to get around. A block away from Main St and everything you may need! Pat was available at all times but never intrusive. And we loved her sweet, calm dogs! And the best part? You can’t beat her prices! Thanks for everything, Pat!

    Diana2018-05-28T00:00:00Z
  • This is the second time I stayed with Patricia ( I missed the window for submitting a review the first time!) and I had a great stay both times. Patricia is a wonderful host, she is easy to talk to, her home is cozy and clean, her pups are angels, the bed and pillows are plump and comfy, and she has made me feel comfortable and at home each time. I already plan on coming back for a trip in the spring. Thanks again!

    Alexis2018-09-09T00:00:00Z
  • Great place. Pat is the best host and the dogs are awesome. Convenient to any part of the wonderful little town of Beacon . Stay at Pats and you cannot go wrong.

Panoramic Hudson River views; steps from DIA, the train, and a few blocks from Main St. Beacon. An elegant quiet Queen bedroom with 5 Wedding Dresses canopy, Shared pink marble bath and Shared kitchenette. Relax and dine on the deck, with nothing but Long Dock Park between you and the Hudson River and miles of hills. Recently renovated with creative touches of local artist host.
This second floor has fabulous views, and is usually a shared space. The second floor has a separate entrance up the riverside deck stairs.
Very residential neighborhood, a walk down the street is plenty of views. It's quiet, although you can hear the trains pass. It is not suitable for loud parties, but nice civilized dinners or drinks are a great pleasure here.
  • My boyfriend and I stayed at Dev’s over 4th ofJuly and had a wonderful time. Dev was an incredibly hospitable and accommodating host - her home was conscious and she had food for us in her pantry. Her home was absolutely stunning with a beautiful view overlooking the Hudson. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Beacon !

    Sara2019-07-05T00:00:00Z
  • Dev’s a wonderful host! The house was well appointed with all the comforts you need, plus helpful tips about the area.

    Dana2019-03-31T00:00:00Z
  • The room is really beautiful and artfully decorated, with a breathtaking view across the Hudson. Dev keeps her place sparkling clean, and she greeted us with freshly baked banana bread! The bathroom and kitchen are shared, but Dev is very respectful of guests’ privacy. We had a lovely visit and hope to come back again in the future.

    Anna2018-10-28T00:00:00Z
  • Dev’s place is in an ideal location - walking distance from the train, Main Street, and Dia - with beautiful views to boot. She was also very responsive to texts and even baked us pastries for breakfast!

    Spencer2018-10-22T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay! Everything was conveniently located and the amenities were great. The view though was amazing and totally worth the stay.

    Sarah2019-07-07T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent view! Dev has great local recommendations, and her dog was super cute.

    Monica2018-11-12T00:00:00Z
  • Dev is kind, accommodating and flexible. During our stay, she provided great tips for places to go, made freshly-baked breakfast, and was perfectly respectful of our privacy while being very welcoming. Her home is unique and thoughtfully decorated, has a beautiful view of the river and is a roughly 5-minute walk from the Dia:beacon and train station, 10 minutes from Main Street. I would gladly stay here again.

  • Tito and his wife go above and beyond for their guests and leaving simple necessities around was SO helpful! I developed an awful cold and Tito had sudafed and DayQuil amongst many other things for me to choose from. They leave out a beautiful array of snacks and munchies and the Apple TV is a plus to curl up and watch tv after a long day. We love beacon and visit quite often and will definitely look to see if Tito’s is available every time we decide to. Thanks again!!!

Super sunny 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment near Main St in Beacon. This is a full, proper 1 bedroom apartment with a separate eat-in kitchen, living room and full bathroom. The bed is a queen and the sofa in the living room can sleep an additional person. The house is a 6 minute walk to Main St, a 16 minute walk to the Mt Beacon trailhead and a 24 min walk to the train station. It's a perfect spot to explore Beacon!
I bought this house fairly recently (February 2018). There are 4 units in the building. 2 of them have regular monthly tenants and 2 units are on Airbnb. The building is a short walk to Main St, where all the shops & restaurants are. It's also quite close to Mt Beacon, which has excellent hiking and views. The house is also directly on the new Beacon Loop Bus route, which takes you from the Beacon train station, up Main St, to Mt Beacon, and to Dia. You can ask the driver to drop you off right in front of the house (and you can also flag it down from the front sidewalk as well)
This house is just three doors down from Beacon Daily, one of the best breakfast and lunch spots in the entire Hudson valley. They have a lovely patio too. The house is a short walk from Main St (7 min according to Google maps). This end of Main St is near the Roundhouse and the famous Beacon falls, as well as many galleries and restaurants (feel free to ask for suggestions). It's a fairly long walk from the train station, but hopefully you're not going there too often :)
  • Great place, larger than expected. Perfectly situated between Main Street and the Mount Beacon Trail. Both were a short walk away. Super clean, plenty of room to have some work time if you need it. Also, the bus stops right there! We're walkers so didn't use it, but handy to know. It'll take you from the Metra to nearly right out front. Recommended!

This is an early 1900's workers' house with charming original pine floors and lots of light. We are prepping for renovation so house is super clean and *very minimally* furnished. Lots of space to spread out free of clutter. You can eat tomatoes and beans from back garden and eat in the back yard with fireflies.
This house is small and humble with a big heart. It has original pine floors that have mellowed to a honey brown and show every ding and scratch from 100 years. (So please tread lightly.) There are two small bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. Downstairs is a living room and open, loftlike kitchen. There is a backyard with garden and places to sit. In the front is another overgrown garden. The back porch is just for passing through and front porch is a good place to leave boots, etc.
Main St. has bars of all kinds, cafes, galleries and all necessities. The house is walking distance from the train and river if you are in reasonably good shape. There is a farmers market and Flea Market on Sunday mornings a block and a half away. Just go out the back fence and turn left on Dewindt.
  • Elise was a great host. She was reachable by phone if needed but allowed for space and privacy. Great value for the money and close to everything in Beacon. Thanks!

    Michael2018-11-09T00:00:00Z

Full of natural light and warm wood, this is a really happy house with a gorgeous view of Mount Beacon from East-facing windows. The upstairs bathroom is huge (it used to be a bedroom) with stand-alone tub and spacious shower. Charming back yard features a pergola with mature grape vines, a young apple tree and a tree swing.
Decor in the house is minimalist -- good for your mental space! The main bedroom is mostly unfurnished and has a very comfortable AirWeave futon (less than a year old) that can be easily folded away, allowing the space to be used as a gym/yoga/meditation room. Second (kids') bedroom is space themed, with bunk beds.
There's so much green space, but cafes, shops, and restaurants are on your doorstep. Walk to Main Street, Mount Beacon, DIA Beacon, Madame Brett Park, or the Hudson River waterfront -- avoid the need to find parking in this very popular town.
  • Very quiet neighborhood, people are friendly, and food is good. This is a house full of sunshine, we had a great time.

Spacious cottage with access to a big back yard with fruit trees and vegetable garden beds, walking distance from the train and Main street. The cottage also functions as a photo gallery for the photographer Gil Gofer, presenting several images from his work around the world.
The cottage has a beautiful bathroom, kitchenette (with fridge, toaster oven and a coffee maker), dining table, new queen size bed, desk area and a couch. There is internet access and a TV/DVD (no cable, but a collection of DVDs). The cottage is very bright and airy, with 2 ceiling fans and 6 windows. The cottage is best suitable for a couple, or for a couple with a baby (pack and play available upon request).
Mount beacon and several other hikes, Dia Beacon, coffee shops, restaurants, galleries, shops, the river all are within few minutes walk or drive.
  • This was a great little getaway. The cottage was very neat, tidy, yet spacious. There's also a wide assortment of coffee and tea for caffeine lovers. They had an awesome DVD collection as well so if it's raining outside, they've got you covered! There are great restaurants and attractions within walking distance. This is definitely a great spot - would highly recommend to book this place if you are visiting Beacon. You won't regret it!

  • By far the best airbnb experience I've ever had! Catherine and Greg are amazing hosts!

    Sara2019-06-04T00:00:00Z
  • We had an amazing stay with Catherine & Greg. The room is just as pictured, even better, with a kitchenette and was very recently re-done. The ambiance was lovely and there were many nice touches and amenities, we ended up spending quite a bit more time than expected in the space because we were so comfortable. Catherine & Greg were welcoming and friendly, and had great suggestions about what to do with our two days in Beacon. We had a lovely visit and will definitely be back!

    Leah2019-03-31T00:00:00Z
  • Catherine & Greg were incredibly communicative and helpful as we planned our trip to Beacon. The check in was easy and the space (and house cat Wally) was inviting. The studio felt very spacious and had everything you would need for work or play. The kitchen was especially well appointed with nice tile work and nice appliances. We will definitely come stay again — it was a comfortable space that exceeded expectations!

    Ashley2019-03-30T00:00:00Z
  • The Loft is so cozy and comfortable! Unfortunately my boyfriend and I were only able to stay one night, as we were in town for a wedding. But the short time we did have, the Loft was great! It had everything you would need, small kitchen for coffee in the morning, comfortable bed and clean space! Our check-in was very flexible and the hosts were wonderful!

    Alexis2019-07-08T00:00:00Z
  • Catherine was an incredible host - on our first day, I had to come a bit earlier than originally expected and she was extremely accommodating. She waited to let me in and made sure I could connect to WiFi so I could do my work for the day. The loft itself was lovely and Wally is the cutest cat! Great location as well, super close to Main St. If I’m ever in Beacon again I’ll definitely be staying here.

Street-level private entrance to a mini studio apartment just off Main St. in Beacon's west end. Pristine interior and a 15 minute walk from Metro North or plenty of street parking available. We live upstairs.
Private one bedroom mini apartment with queen size bed, TV, white noise machine and kitchen with table and chairs and bathroom with shower. The kitchen has a microwave but no oven. There is also no range hood so guests must limit the cooking to boiling and steaming and refrain from frying or sauteing. Although there is a washer and dryer in the bathroom they are not for use by guests.
Usually quiet residential neighborhood just off Main Street close to galleries, coffee shops and shopping. In addition to an active visual art scene, Beacon now has an equally vibrant music scene with all kinds of music available on any given night at numerous venues in town including The Towne Crier, Quinn's, Dogwood, Chill Wine Bar and others.
  • Eleni and David were wonderful hosts. The apartment was perfect! Very convenient to the train, main street, and museum. I had a great time and would definitely stay there again.

They were there to give us the keys when we checked in, and let us keep our bags at the apartment after check out the next day when we went for a hike. The apartment itself was perfect--clean, comfortable and well appointed. The location was awesome for exploring Beacon too, right off Main street and very close to Dia:Beacon, the train and the river. I'd definitely stay here again next time I'm in Beacon!

Brand newly renovated and furnished 2 bedroom 1 bath apartment near Main St in Beacon. This is a 2-story apartment with a large eat-in kitchen, living room and full bathroom downstairs and 2 small bedrooms upstairs. Both beds are brand new full size beds. Additionally, the sofa bed in the living room pulls out into a bed that can sleep an additional 2 people. The house is a 6 minute walk to Main St and a 24 min walk to the train station. Come enjoy Beacon and spread out!
I just bought this house fairly recently (February 2018). There are 4 units in the building. 3 of them have regular monthly tenants and 1 unit is on Airbnb.
Right next to Stock Up, one of the best sandwich places in the entire Hudson valley. Definitely try any of their chicken sandwiches or smoked items. They have a lovely patio too The house is a short walk from Main St (7 min according to Google maps). This end of Main St is near the Roundhouse and the famous Beacon falls, as well as many galleries and restaurants (feel free to ask for suggestions). It's a fairly long walk from the train station, but hopefully you're not going there too often :)
  • Stylish little place. Very cute! Just keep in mind that it’s on a second and third floor and being a typically older building the floors are noisy and it’s hard to be as quiet as one might want to be. Possibly not the best choice for an affectionately rambunctious family ;) Great experience... very kind and responsive host. As Graham admitted it’s a new property so it’s not completely finished... i.e. the doors aren’t working to the bedrooms yet so just make sure you are comfortable with your flat mates ;) Would definitely stay again! :)

    Luis2018-04-12T00:00:00Z
  • This is a great place in a great location for visiting the Hudson valley area. Two blocks from the Main Street of Beacon and steps from The Beacon Daily which has some amazing food choices. Only note of caution is for anyone who cannot do stairs. Please make note that this is a second story unit with the bedrooms on the 3rd floor. If you can’t do stairs ... I would check out one of Graham’s other offerings. He is a great host.

  • We had a wonderfully relaxing experience at grahams air BnB. It was incredibly clean and spacious. With AC and over head fans so we were always cool and comfortable. Incredibly comfortable sleeping arrangements and a lovely patio to sit and take in the view of Beacon mountain. We cherished the size of the kitchen because we love to cook and had everything we needed to make dinners and we had plenty of space to stretch out and relax. It is only a short walk to the city center and 15 minute walk to Dia Beacon. Graham was incredibly lovely and always helpful. I thoroughly recommend his place

  • Graham provides an immaculately clean and cozy apartment. The location is ideal for walking to town and very quiet. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there on my next visit to Beacon.

  • Thanks for the quick response, amazingly clean, cozy and modern space. Beds were comfy, check in and out was easy and location was convenient. Walk to Main Street. Short drive to Storm King.

  • Graham's place was perfect for a fun getaway weekend in Beacon. The location was perfect, very walkable to Main Street and parking was a breeze. Check-in was easy, the place is very clean and extremely spacious, and Graham offered suggestions and tips for things to do in the area. We had a great time and will definitely look for this spot again when we return to Beacon.

  • Rafiqua was an incredible host! Super attentive and even gave us a little tour of her garden! Loved our time staying there!

    Camilo2019-04-28T00:00:00Z
  • The place was fantastic — this was my second time staying at the place and I will definitely return!

    Amy2018-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • Rafiqua and Dan’s place is more than sufficient for a weekend stay. It is Just a short walk away from Main Street. Also walkable from Dia and the train station. The space is really big! She has plenty of extra space for you to stretch out besides the bedroom including couches, dinner table, extra bed, closet, etc. There were good books to read and plenty of hiking maps for the surrounding area. We were left cute snacks and had fresh water and tea. The heating was superb and though it was really cold outside we were extremely comfortable. Rafiqua is a very sweet woman and creative also. She made the curtains and bedspread by hand! This was my first Airbnb experience and I was very happy!

    Robin2018-01-21T00:00:00Z
  • Rafiqua is truly a superhost! The space was lovey overlooking the incredible garden. private entrance at the front and a private door to the back yard. The vegetable garden is gorgeous and visited by many song birds! In addition to the bedroom, there is a large sitting room with a dinner table and a comfy couch and a coffee table. I can highly recommend this place if you're someone looking for a peaceful weekend away from the city, or even a bit longer summer stay. The kitchenette, private bathroom and a private sitting room (not to mention the 2 private entrances) make it perfect for that. The bed was comfortable, the bedlinens and towels were very fresh and clean. I will very gladly stay with Rafiqua again in the future!

    Eliis2018-07-22T00:00:00Z
  • This is a lovely, peaceful spot. Rafiqua welcomed me & encouraged me to call with any questions or needs. The room is ideal for a single individual. A private entrance & bath were essential to me. I also liked have a mini kitchen with fridge & microwave. The garden is very beautiful. I would be happy to return for another visit.

  • Rafiqua is a very loving individual. Quick at responding, very helpful, sweet and caring. The place was incredibly clean and neat. I recommend this place if you are looking for a nice quiet place. Would stay here again.

  • Perfect for a weekend away from the city. Rafiqua's place is private, comfortable, and clean. It's just a short walk to Main Street and the Beacon loop. And Rafiqua even gave us a tour of her amazing garden. Looking forward to staying again the next time we're in Beacon!

    Steven2019-06-16T00:00:00Z
  • Staying in Rafiqua's guest room was a wonderful experience. The room has a private entrance and bath, and is lovely and super clean. The bed is very very comfortable! The room looks out over an amazing organic garden, and the home is surrounded by wildflowers. We were walking distance from downtown Beacon, and thoroughly enjoyed having a resident's point of view of this lovely town. Thank you Rafiqua for your hospitality!

Charming and cozy mini basement apartment with a private entrance, west end of Beacon. Steps from historic Main Street, shopping and Metro North train station. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.
Private one bedroom mini basement apartment with Full size bed, kitchenette and bathroom with shower. The wet bar has a microwave but no oven. The wet bar has a portable sink design with bleach added for sanitizing, which is only to be used to wash dishes and discard liquid. However all other running water is drinkable. There is also hot plate, there is no hood so guests must limit the cooking to boiling and steaming and refrain from frying or sauteing. The ceiling is thin and you will hear guest upstairs during normal hours, put on some background music that helps a lot.
Quiet residential neighborhood just off Main Street close to galleries, coffee shops and shopping. In addition to an active visual art scene, Beacon now has an equally vibrant music scene with all kinds of music available. Not suitable for parties. Only quiet guests who would like to take advantage of the fabulous dining, arts, hiking and shopping that Beacon has to offer. -- You can walk everywhere--
  • This was a great, affordable place to stay and the location is excellent. I would just say to read the listing carefully and know that’s it’s a basement apt and the kitchen water is non-potable and works on kind of a pump system? Other than that, comfortable bed and couch, clean, good shower, as described and great location. Would stay again!

    Tia2019-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • Place was very cozy and comfortable. Everything from towels to water bottles was taken care of for us and the smart TV was even Netflix-ready. Town was cute with great food.

  • Good value right off Main Street

    David2017-04-28T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time! Micol was quick to respond, and was kind enough to leave a complimentary bottle! It was clean and very comfortable. There is plenty of space for street parking, and the neighbors are very nice. This place is only a block away from main street, and there is tons of great food and drinks nearby. We would definitely stay here again.

  • Mirtek's place was the perfect spot for a weekend getaway. It's a great size for 2 people and the location couldn't be beat. It's just as the pictures show. Mirtek was great at responding to all of my questions and making sure all of our needs had been met. Would definitely stay again!

  • This place is great for a couple. It's small but was perfect for my girlfriend and I who were spending a weekend upstate. Has a nice bedroom, great bathroom with standin shower and a roomy, comfortable living/dining area. It's clean and the decor was very nice. Fast wifi and great amenities, we had absolutely no trouble. 15 minute walk from the train station and a 2 minute walk from main street. Mirtek was always quick to respond to inquiries and offer help. No complaints!

This listing is for one guest bedroom in a 3 bedroom home, only few blocks from Main Street. Just 60 miles north of NYC along the Hudson River, you’ll find Beacon, a charming-and-hip small city with a population of under 20,000. Home to the renowned contemporary art museum Dia: Beacon, which opened in 2003, it has attracted crowds of artists, writers, filmmakers, designers, young couples looking to start families and veteran entrepreneurs. Beacon, an industrial and historic town once known for manufacturing textiles, hats and boxes, has a vibrantly growing and diverse community, and myriad new businesses continue to open shop in the historic buildings on Main Street. • JJ's place was fantastic; perfectly located near Main St, comfy bed, nice porch to sit on, and a cute dog. I had a relaxing time and would stay here again.

  • JJ & Justin were so hospitable and thoughtful. We loved staying at their place. We felt right at home. We loved their pup Borro. They even greeted us with wine! They supplied us with two street bikes that we finally got to use on the last night, they are located just a few blocks from downtown Beacon. It was so fun! We even got caught in a rain storm on the way back and J+J met us at the door with 2 towels so sweet.

    Amber2019-05-20T00:00:00Z
  • Jennifer's house was in a great location for a wedding weekend at the Roundhouse in Beacon. Our hosts happened to be out of town during our stay, but were always available for questions and were quick with responses. We were able to make ourselves at home without issue, and found the house to be very comfortable, even during hot weather. It's a quick cab ride from the train station, but also a very enjoyable and manageable mile walk downhill back. Beacon never fails to charm, and places like this only add to the experience.

    Rich2019-06-30T00:00:00Z
  • 50 Teller is a perfect spot for a getaway. Walk a few blocks to find great coffee, a bakery, dinner or breakfast diner!

    Darre'2019-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • JJ and Justin gave us a stellar experience for the weekend trip that my girlfriend and I took to Beacon. We weren't too familiar with the area and didn't have a car so wanted to make sure we stayed somewhere that was walkable to all the fun stores and shops on Main Street and this home fits that mold exactly. It's about a 4 minute walk to Main Street and right around the corner from several bars, restaurants and beautiful scenery. Needless to say the location was fantastic, but let me tell you about the home itself: JJ and Justin renovated this place with their own hands and you can tell how much work and thoughtfulness went into every detail. Not only was the home (and our bedroom) sparkling clean, but it smelled heavenly. My partner and I took the train up to Beacon and were planning on walking over to the home, but Justin came by and picked us up! Talk about hospitality. On top of that, JJ left us a bottle of wine which we enjoyed late at night while lazily rocking back and forth on the porch. As folks from Brooklyn, the peace and stillness of a Beacon porch was exactly what we were looking for this weekend. Let me also give a shoutout to Boro, their very sweet and cuddly little dog that didn't make a single sound and was the best bellboy a guy can ask for. Towels were set aside for our use, there was a huge closet for us to hang our items in and an A/C to keep us cool at night. The two bathrooms meant that we never needed to wait or cause a traffic jam. My partner and I seriously can't wait to come back to Beacon, and when we do, we're definitely staying here again. The value, hospitality and ambiance of JJ & Justin's lovely home truly made our weekend a wonderful getaway from the city.

    Jince2019-06-02T00:00:00Z
  • JJ and Justin's place is perfect. I enjoyed my weekend there thoroughly. Their house is immaculate but also inviting. Just minutes from Beacon mountain and the main street. I would absolutely come back to stay with them. A perfect experience.

    Tasha2019-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect location (a short walk to main street and quite near the falls; also within walking distance of Dia). Justin was able to meet me at the train station and gave me a quick tour of town. A wonderful couple. They had a bottle of wine waiting for me when I arrived and, as I was there to have some quiet time and work on a project, they gave me the space I needed. I could not recommend this couple or this lovely room more highly!! I will be back!!!

This is a newly build craftsman style private home, located 10 minutes from Beacon Train Station and Downtown shopping area. Guests would have a private bedroom with queen size bed, coffee maker, small refrigerator, microwave oven and wardrobe space. They would also have a private full bath with tub/shower, shampoo, etc included. In addition adjacent to the bedroom is a sitting room with TV, cable and WIFI. A continental breakfast with home-baked goodies,coffee/tea/hot chocolate available.
We have a high-quality, comfortable roll out bed that can easily be set up for an accompanying child. In addition we have pack and play for smaller children. The TV/sitting room has a TV with cable, HBO and SHO as well as streaming services.
Lafayette Avenue is a quiet residential street off Route 9D. At the end of the street is a cut-de-sac well suited to dog walking or just taking a stroll with a view of the Hudson River.
  • Welcoming hosts, walking distance from the train station. Nice to have your own area upstairs so it feels private. We brought our lil dog and he got to run around the backyard. Very clean. Would stay here again!

    Maria2019-06-09T00:00:00Z
  • Susan and Tom were excellent hosts, and very welcoming of our dog too. Our stay exceeded our expectations and we would definitely stay there again. The room was very comfy and well-stocked with the basic necessities as well as a Kuerig, mini-fridge, and microwave. The muffins and fresh fruit in the morning were a great start to our days. Location is in close proximity to all Beacon has to offer. The home is meticulously clean and access to a private tv room was useful because we had bad weather. (Extra plus: there is tremendous water pressure in the shower).

    Rohit2019-01-21T00:00:00Z
  • Susan is an outstanding host! The place is a nice, quiet, super-clean bedroom walkable to the train station and main street. Enjoyed our stay!

    Trevor2019-04-02T00:00:00Z
  • Susan and her husband's home was lovely. We loved every minute of staying with them even though it was only for a night. We had their famous blueberry muffins in the morning which were a great way to start the day. Susan and her husband were a pleasure to meet and to talk to. Will definitely plan to stay here if we come back to Beacon. Also, an uber from Susan's house to Storm King was $18. The shuttle from the Beacon station is $20 I believe. It's a perfect home to stay in Beacon if you want to explore downtown and also if you want to take a day trip to Storm King.

    Kareem2018-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • Susan's place was fantastic and she went above and beyond what I'd expect from a host. She was quick with her communication and was there to greet us when we arrived. The bedroom, sitting room, and bathroom are on the 2nd floor of the house. The wifi was good and everything was super clean! It was so much better than a hotel because you have a big bedroom with a mini fridge and microwave, a Keurig, a super high powered shower (Susan also thoughtfully provided many spare toiletries in case you forgot), and lovely towels. Though we didn't use the sitting room, there was one with a TV. The house was about a seven-minute walk from main street (15 minutes walk from the train station) and a 40-minute walk from the Mt. Beacon trailhead. The muffins and fruit in the morning were a really lovely touch, and they have a sweet dog as well. Everything was so thoughtful, and I'm really glad we chose to stay here!

    Sara2018-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • I had a really lovely stay at Susan’s house. It’s in a great location close to Main St and Dia:Beacon museum, and Susan was a very thoughtful and welcoming host! I would definitely stay there again!

    Cindy2018-06-08T00:00:00Z
  • I would not hesitate to stay with Susan again. Her space was super clean, quiet, very comfortable & well appointed. She & her husband were very accommodating and helpful. I appreciated the local history books. Their place was well located for me being on foot to get to Dia, Main Street, & to the train to begin my long journey home. I also loved visiting with their sweet dog.

One floor walk-up, in 100-year-old Historic Building. Hardwood floors, One Bedroom. In the middle of everything.

  • Kim’s place is simply amazing. A short walk from the train and in the middle of town. Checking in was easy and she welcomed us with open arms. She also gave us a ton of recommendations. The apartment itself is very modern and nicely arranged. Would highly recommend and we will be back!

    Elizabeth2019-09-20T00:00:00Z
  • The location is great! It’s walking distance from all the shops which made it very convenient for a night out. The apartment itself is very clean, cute, and cozy. Four of us stayed here comfortably. The host, Kim was welcoming, warm, communicative and made sure we were taken care of. I would recommend this place to anyone staying in Beacon.

    Andrew2019-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • Kim’s place was great and extremely cozy. We were ready to move in! Kim stocked the fridge with all sorts of beverages which was a great touch. She is warm and friendly and was eager to assist with anything we may have needed. The location of the apartment is perfect. Right in the middle of everything you could need and an easy walk from the train station. We look forward to staying at her spot again!

    Brittany2019-09-13T00:00:00Z
  • If there were an award for all time best host, Kim would win it hands down. The place was beautiful and perfectly located on Main Street - so close to so many great spots in town. Kim met us in person to check us in, saw us off, and dropped an umbrella outside the door on a morning when it was raining. Tips for places to visit in town were on point. Not to mention the cool Polaroid and treats left for us in the fridge. When you your host says “I just want you guys to have fun here” (and you do!), you know you are in the right place. We will definitely stay here again on our next stay in Beacon.

Very private cottage located less than 2 blocks from Main Street. Walk to the train, DIA Beacon, and Main Street galleries and restaurants in minutes. entrance allows guests to come and go freely. Guests also have their own private patio area complete with Adirondack chairs. Please note that smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property.
Only a block and a half from Main Street and within easy walking distance to Metronorth, our cozy cottage makes for a perfect weekend retreat in fabulous Beacon, NY. The cottage is in our backyard, and while right in the middle of Beacon, is very private. The yard is fully fenced, and guests can come and go freely from a separate entrance. The cottage has a bathroom, kitchenette (with fridge, microwave, sink and toaster), double bed, and a twin size daybed. There is a TV/DVD but no internet access. We do not have cable, but have supplied the cottage with a nice collection of DVDs for guest use. The cottage is very light and airy, with lots of windows and a skylight. The bed is a new firm memory foam mattress. Memory Foam is different from box spring mattresses, and some folks take time to adjust to them. But for most, they are incredibly comfortable! The space is best for a couple, or for a small family. It could fit 3 adults, but it would be a tight squeeze. Beacon is only an hour and a half drive north of New York City, and an easy 80 minute ride on Metronorth's Hudson Line. Beacon is a fabulous little town with excellent shopping, museums (DIA Beacon), great restaurants and coffee shops, and even our own music venues! There is also incredible hiking in the area, including Mount Beacon & Breakneck Ridge. We are also only 20 minutes from Storm King Arts Center. The train and DIA Beacon are only a 10 minute walk from our house, and Main Street is literally around the corner, making our cottage a perfect retreat for a car-less NYC getaway. For those with cars, there is ample on-street parking. The cottage is fully heated, and can be rented year-round. We also have AC for hot summer nights, though we find the cottage cools down pretty substantially at night and is great for sleeping just with windows and fans.
Walk to DIA, restaurants, coffee shops, galleries, Long Dock Park and the River Park..... It is all a stones throw from our home.
  • Utterly fantastic stay. Cute little cottage, impeccably clean, fully stocked bathroom. Fair trade coffee and coffee maker provided, which was just divine. And the Sunday 'Times' delivered right to our door. What more could you ask for? The location is fantastic, half a block off Main St. where all the excitement is. Thanks for a lovely weekend!

  • We stayed for two nights and the experience was wonderful. The cottage is about a 20 minute walk from the Metro North station and just over a block from Main Street with amazing restaurants, bars and shopping. The cottage was clean and comfortable. Nicely equipped with basics of a kitchenette and tastefully decorated. It was peaceful and quiet. Coming and going was easy and Rachel was very responsive to text and email. A great retreat!

Welcome to Beacon! A short train ride from the buzz of Grand Central Station brings you to the refreshing artistic heart of the Hudson Valley. As featured on Business Insider, this one bedroom apartment is a perfect "basecamp" for making Beacon yours. Whether it's hiking, writing, kayaking, shopping, strolling, eating, drinking, gallery-hopping, exploring, retreating or just relaxing and letting Beacon and the Hudson Valley show the way, you're steps aways from it all.
This top floor one-bedroom apartment is the perfect spot to enjoy Beacon and the Hudson Valley. It's a short walk to everything Beacon has to offer and a short drive to Hudson Valley favorites like West Point, Newburgh, Rhinebeck, Storm King and Cold Spring to name a few. It's also the perfect spot to just get away, relax, do some writing, reflecting and re-grouping. Conveniently located and comfortable, this apartment is designed to make your stay in Beacon one you'll remember.
This apartment is literally steps away from the center of Main Street. Key Foods grocery store is a 3 minute walk and be sure to check-out Max's on Main just on the corner...our favorite "local." From there, you can head back towards the Hudson River or make your way down to Fishkill Creek. All that Beacon has to offer is available in either direction.
  • We could not have asked for a better experience in Beacon! We were steps from the heart of downtown, but just far enough away to be able to enjoy quiet times out on the porch. Plus, a super easy walk from Metro North, so we didn't need to worry about a car at all! The space itself was gorgeous and comfortable (and of course clean & private). It was the perfect place to recharge after exploring the town or doing some hiking. Scott & Brian were delightful hosts, and full of great recommendations for things to do in town. They love Beacon, and their home, and it shows. We highly recommend their BaseCamp for anyone else looking to enjoy their time in Beacon.

  • Our stay at Scott's place in Beacon was just lovely. The space had everything we needed, and even included bonus local coffee ground, totes for shopping, local tips, shower stuff, nice dishes, modern tech, and more, lovely, thoughtful touches that show what a considerate and caring host Scott is. He was very communicative and available if we needed anything, even a late night Netflix emergency. The bed was comfy and the sofa bed (a trundle) was also - and we all had enough cozy bedding, and stayed nice and cool with AC one night and a lovely breeze the next. The neighborhood (and house) was very quiet, we sat on the porch and drank wine and listened to crickets. The decor was so nice too, clean and timeless-I loved the historical Beacon theme. Everything we needed was nearby, even the metronorth. It was an absolute pleasure! Can't recommend it enough.

  • Really fantastic place - the location, furnishings and hospitality was excellent

    Mick2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • Scott's upstairs apartment is great! It's a beautiful, sunny, well-maintained and clean space. It's spacious and the bed is very comfy. The location is super, just a couple blocks off main street and a 15 minute walk (at the most) from basically all the local downtown attractions. Scott was very friendly, communicative, and gave us lots of helpful tips on local sights and hikes. All around a very smooth and pleasant Airbnb experience, we would absolutely go back if we return to Beacon.

  • Great place, close to everything. Place was complete with all the amenities and extra sofa bed if necessary. Love the kitchen and self check in along with the cleanliness of the place. Would highly recommend and come back.

Brett and Jack's room is a very comfortable room in our historic 5 bedroom home in Beacon, NY. Our property is 1.8 acres and includes a large outdoor area with seating, a grill and a sport court. This room is on the 2nd floor and has two queen sized beds. There are 2 full bathrooms, one on each floor, both are shared. We have other bedrooms listed as well as our entire home for those that prefer exclusive use. Short walk to train, DIA, Mt. Beacon, Hudson River, Main St (shops/restaurants).
Our house was built in 1794 making it more than 200 years old. The house is preserved and cozy. We have nearly 2 acres of property that consists of yard and woods. We have a basketball/pickleball court. Pickleball is a fun easy game that can be played by 2 or 4 players.
  • This lodging is clean, with plenty of public areas. The four bedrooms upstairs share one (clean) bathroom. There is another bedroom downtairs. As far as I noticed the premises is not owner occupied.

  • Tricia's place is huge, charmingly decorated, and very clean. Tricia was a wonderful communicator with us and gave fantastic directions. Beacon is fabulous. The beds were super comfortable and everything was very well marked (towels, wi-fi, etc.) and organized. The house is amazing and all the pictures of Tricia's family everywhere made my sister and I really feel welcomed.

  • Had a great stay for a long July 4th Weekend. The house is well within walking distance from Main Street, Dia: Beacon, and pretty much all the town has to offer (I did not have a car). The room we stayed in is nicer than pictured, and the whole house is cozy and welcoming.

Welcome to the Healing House, a restful sanctuary located just one block from bustling Main Street. Enjoy your own private bedroom and shared bath, or spend time in the meditation room, beautiful back yard or welcoming kitchen.
The Healing House is devoted to increasing love in the world. The groups, classes and circles that take place here are intended to expand a loving and supportive community. It is a unique environment that embraces anyone who crosses the threshold and all belief systems (or no belief systems) are welcomed and honored. You are invited to come and go as you please, making use of only your bedroom/bathroom or you can make use of the other wonderful areas of the house including the Kitchen, Meditation Space, Library and Back/Front Yards. Come to the Healing House for your own Spiritual Retreat. Take a soulful hike up Mt. Beacon, or spent time at a powerful spot near the Hudson River. Eileen is also available for Healing Sessions. Discounts are offered to Airbnb guests. There are also places in town to take a yoga class or get a massage as well. The Healing House is centrally located one block from Main Street which boasts wonderful restaurants, numerous art galleries and unique shops. Most everything you need is within walking distance, however if you are looking to journey a bit farther to neighboring towns, Uber and Taxi services are available. We are also located a short distance from the MetroNorth Station. Because the Healing House is a spiritual sanctuary, there are no drugs or alcohol permitted on premises. Feel free to enjoy one of the great bars/music venues on Main Street and have a safe place to spend the night. There is a 2 night minimum when staying on the weekend.
The Healing House is located on a residential street one block from Main Street. Very safe area.
  • My husband and I chose to stay here against our usual interest in a private hotel room. We loved Eileen and loved staying with her. The energy and love in this home is wonderful. Eileen was very welcoming and open, she shared of herself and helped with whatever we needed, including introducing us to people that could help us. This felt more like a retreat. The chance to take her healing session and attend the Healing House group gatherings added immensely to the value of the stay. Our room was private and quiet and the space was adequate. We were really in town for private business in New York City but were drawn to the relaxing vibe of Eileen's place in the greenery of Beacon. We found that Beacon is a wonderful town to explore, with restaurants, hiking, art galleries, and a generally relaxed atmosphere. It's an easy 1hr 20 minutes by Metro North from New York City and a one way off peak tickets costs about $16.50. Economically, it beats staying in New York and paying high accommodation fees but still being able to access all the city has to offer. Eileen's place is well located in the centre of town - you could walk o everything from the train station to hiking trails, restaurants, pharmacy, grocers etc. It was about 20 minutes walk from the train station and a cab ride is $6. Well worth it, we are grateful that we got to meet this amazing woman and would recommend Eileen's place to anyone. We hope to visit again!

    Simone2017-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • Eileen's home is a great value and very welcoming space for a visit to Beacon. It couldn't be more central. It was also spotless while being very homey -- which was both impressive and appreciated! Bring earplugs if you're not used to the sounds of nature at night - they get loud! There are no locks on doors, only relevant if that is important to you. There was a friendly ambience between all the guests when we crossed paths, and Eileen is a warm and gracious host.

    Anna2017-08-06T00:00:00Z
  • This charming home in Beacon is so great I had to return for a second time, and very much look forward to my next visit. The rooms are comfortable. The location is perfect. The home is full of spirit and positive energy. What a great place!

  • Eileen is an amazing and thoughtful host. The location is prime, right in the heart of main street in Beacon. My room was incredibly comfortable and I felt welcomed and a sense of calm. I cannot wait to return to spend more time in Beacon and in Eileen's incredible and warm healing house. xo

  • We so enjoyed our stay at this lovely home with an incredible view and in close proximity to Main St and the train station. Dev is a superb host providing a stocked fridge, breakfast goodies and thoughtful personal touches. Celebrated my daughter’s 30th birthday and couldn’t have asked for a better place!

    Cindy2019-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay at Dev's place! The house is right on the water -- amazing views -- and everything (train station, DIA, Main St, Long Dock Park) is walkable, which was really nice and a $ saver for sure. We also took a Lyft to Storm King ($25 each way) for anyone looking to do that. Dev was very sweet and left a fully stocked kitchen for us, plus lots of other amenities around. She definitely made it feel like home for the weekend. Would highly recommend!

There aren’t drapes in the living area so if you are sleeping in there on the pull out sofa be aware. Very quiet at night. Short walk to Beacon main st which is full of cool shops/bars and restaurants. Dev was a lovely host and even left a surprise breakfast bag on my departure day! Would stay again!

  • Outstanding stay in Beacon for both me and my pup. Amenities were hotel quality and hosts generosity was exceptional....garden fresh tomatoes! The space is large and accessible to all places within Beacon. I did not have a car and was able to walk to hikes, the museum, and Main Street all within 10-15 minutes. And of course for me most important is that my large pup was allowed and she had a bed and fresh bowl of water waiting for her! Thank you so much for an outstanding retreat in beacon! Will be back for sure!!

A cozy, sun filled room in a colonial house built in the late 1800s with a serene backyard. We're a quick walk to Main St. attractions, shops, and restaurants, and a stroll away from hiking trails. Come on over and unwind in Beacon!
The room is a cozy space with a comfy bed, lots of sunshine, and a view of the backyard. The house is on a quiet, little street, but is smack dab in the middle of all the action Beacon has to offer: shops, hiking, and museums.

  • This was my first AirBnB experience. Beacon turned out to be a very nice town indeed and this room offered much privacy and piece. The bed is great. The neighborhood feels safe, good location near Main street, and an easy walking route from the train station. The only bad thing was that the other guest who was staying here kept on forgetting to unlock my side of the bathroom door; fortunately the door to the kitchen is a refuge... This is of-course not the hosts' fault. I would definitely like to come back here.

    Jiro2015-05-17T00:00:00Z
  • Tricia was a wonderful host. She was responsive and very helpful with providing us information about Beacon and activities to do there. We stayed in Casey's room and it was spacious and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Would definitely come back and stay here again.

  • I just finished a lovely two night stay. Patricia was very friendly and helpful with advice as to the best places to eat in town. The location is great and close to both downtown Beacon and the train station. Patricia recommend The Beacon Bread Company for breakfast where I had the best corned beef hash I've ever eaten! It was a pleasant five minute walk from the house. As others have commented, the bed and pillows were very comfy. This was my first Airbnb experience, and I was very pleased with my stay. I would definitely stay there again.

  • Our stay at Patricia's was pleasant and comfortable. The location is great and easy to access without a car. The room was spacious, clean and the bed was comfortable. The house was quiet as well, which worked out great for us. Patricia was also very responsive since the moment we booked the room until we got there. We didn't get to meet her, but her son was able to provide all the info that we needed and give us some good food recommendations

  • Jessica was extremely communicative and flexible with our arrival time. She was always available to answer any questions and made sure we had everything we needed. • Jessica's place is very well situated, right off the Main Street is restaurants and bars. We stayed for the weekend and really enjoyed the proximity to hiking trails and being able to go out in the evening. Jessica was very communicative--would recommend!

  • This room was perfect for us (couple and a kid). Jessica was great- so accommodating and warm. The location of the house is convenient and central. A great experience!

    Sasha2017-08-30T00:00:00Z
  • The location can't be beat. If you're looking to stay in Beacon, being right off Main Street offers a great mix of walkable activities/shops/restaurants (go to Max's, just around the corner) and convenience to the train station (15 minute walk). Beacon is also a town with very few hotels or B&Bs, so I really appreciate Jessica offering a well-priced place to stay in the center of town. Check in and communication were also very easy, and Jessica was very nice, and seemed to genuinely care about her guests. The house and room itself was comfy, though a bit on the older side, which creates some highly manageable quirks (the upstairs shower was out of order when I was there). Overall: Great value and location!
