  • The place was in a great location for us as hockey fans. The place was also clean and tidy. There was a mini bar type arrangement in the room if you wished to use it. Can’t really fault anything except the bed head had a cut out design and the pillows fell through it and sleep ins aren’t an option as there isn’t block out blinds.

  • The location is good and checkin is pretty easy. the only complain is that the noise sound proof isn’t great as we can clearly hear the night club downstairs and the blind in the bedroom didn’t block out the light which isn’t good for light sleeper. Also the host is slow at responding the message and didn’t pick up the phone.

  • This location is perfect and more!!! the apartment itself is incredible! has an incredible view. really!!! we could have spent all our stay watching through the window and chilling in the balcony. room is very nice and bed very comfortable. kitchen is absolutely a place to enjoy. it has it all. we did not cook much but we really enjoyed having breakfast or dinner there. all the place design is so well done. then the building with its own security, access, parking, and lobby. again: it’s the right place for travelers who enjoy the good things.

    Your host is a native Calgarian who can provide recommendations on sightseeing, booking trips to the mountains, renting a car, all sorts of things. I speak poor French and Chinese.

  • Hey everyone! Connell is a great guy. At first I thought he was a little stand off ish but then quickly realized he was just giving me space. Once the ice was broken, he was super helpful, accommodating and inclusive to the point of inviting me (a complete stranger) to join in his game of thrones gathering with his friends. He has been living in the same neighbourhood for a bulk of his life and has all the inside scoops about where to eat, drink and find amenities. 3 min walk to the tram and 15 minutes walk to the red mile. I stayed with him wedsnday night then had a repeat stay Sunday as well. Hot tub and gym in the building was great and the building itself, suuuuper secure. Key fob party! I will definitely contacting him again for my next stay. Pssst, Connell, wanna see that patio DnD table idea when I come back.

  • Ot is a great location, value for money. Me and my wife had to go to us embassy so it was very near to it and downtown area. Clean nice place and host was very good and accommodating. I requested to checkin early. So, they accommodatedme 2 hours early. We had one issue, the mattress was not to our liking, we couldn't sleep very well. Although it might be an individual preference as I like hard bed, so that experience might be different for everyone.

    If you're looking for a Beautiful place to stay in the heart of the downtown action, without all the noise, then this is the place for you. The street will remind you of peaceful neighborhood living but still only 2 blocks from the best dining and entertainment that Calgary has to offer. Only a short walk to the BMO center, telus convention centre, Stephen Avenue, 17th ave, repsol centre and government offices. Or enjoy a walk down the bow river. Complete modern renovation June 2019!
    This is a well kept space and very comfortable. I keep a fan for guests rooms if they get hot in the summer and I am always up for suggestion to what I can add to make the place better. ALL the necessities should be in the apartment but since I just moved in, it may need some little things. Feel free to let me know.
    Within a 10 minute walk in any direction you can get to THE SADDLEDOME, BMO CENTRE, COWBOYS CASINO, STAMPEDE GROUNDS, 17TH AVENUE ( Calgary's top street for dining, drinks and shopping), 4TH STREET DINING, STEPHEN AVENUE, THE CALGARY TOWER AND SOOOO MUCH MORE.

I didn't hear the trains that others have mentioned, I guess I'm a heavy sleeper. I would have liked to have been better informed about the other guests who were there during my stay. Like, just that there were actually going to be 2 sets of other guests staying while I was there. I would stay there again because of location, nice apartment and price, but I'd now know to ask about any other guests.

  • I really don’t know where to begin. This was my first foray into the Airbnb world and Aaron’s property has set a standard that I don’t think will be able to be beat. I like nice hotels and have stayed in great executive suites when on long business trips..so I was a bit hesitant...but that changed the moment I walked in the door. It was like coming home!! The place was spotless...everything looked brand new and it was stocked with anything that I could possibly have needed. The bed and blackout curtains made for a wonderful sleep. It was simply awesome. There is not one thing that I would change The property alone would have been enough...but add in the location and you have a winner! Great south view from the 20th floor of the Saddledome, Calgary and the Rockies in the distant. It is close to the beltline amenities and establishments so there was lots to check out and the neighbourhood vibe was great. Secure parking..which I appreciated. It is in the largest residential condo building in Calgary...and the people in and about the property were friendly. Security on site for added comfort even though the area is nice and safe. Aaron was great. Communication was timely and accurate. He helped me take advantage of the property and enjoy my stay. Simply amazing!!!! My two weeks flew by. I wish that I could have stayed longer.

  • Aaron's place was absolutely spectacular. I had an event downtown and wanted a bit of a stay-cation and the location suited me perfectly. It's a beautiful modern building with security right outsidethe heart of downtown. The suite is well equipped with a convection stove and a built in refrigerator and dishwasher. It is beautifully decorated and the furnishings are all new and very comfortable. Loved the bed especially and the black out curtains were most welcomed for a rare sleep in! Aaron was a gracious host. I highly recommend this place. One of the nicest Airbnb's I've stayed in, especially for the price and location.

    My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers. Located in the new East Village. This building is Brand New, and across the street from the Studio Bell Music Centre, 2 blocks from the Saddle dome, and 1 block from the c-train station.
    This never lived in suite offers the best walking , biking, and access to both the city core and stampede grounds.
    East Village is an award winning master designed community in downtown Calgary. We are just a short walk to the river pathway system, and 1 block from our city hall and free transit ( in the core only). We have recently had a small shopping market added across the street from our New building which also offers free entertainment on Thursday,Friday and Saturday.

  • Sondo’s place is the perfect place for a Calgary getaway! My friend and I stayed for 2 nights during Stampede weekend and had an amazing time. The check in process was easy and Sondo responded within minutes whenever we needed something. Her apartment is in the perfect location overlooking the Cowboys Tent and is right beside the Casino Cowboy. The condo is beautiful, clean and the balcony view was unreal!! It was nice to wake up in the morning and have an morning coffee on the balcony overlooking the Calgary tower. I will definitely be booking this place when I come back again! :) Oh, and my girlfriend loved the bed and can’t stop talking about the comfy sheets! lol

  • Sondos's place is just PERFECT! The room is so modern and well kept. It was the perfect size for my boyfriend and I. It was very comfy, clean and relaxing. The view from the bedroom and balcony is another story. It was breathtaking and great for photos. Friends and family thought we spent over $1000 to get the place we got. Overall, we really enjoyed spending time on the balcony soaking in the heat and watching the night life. Also, the locations is prime for anyone visiting Calgary (like we were) for the first time. We couldn't ask for a better stay in Calgary. We were considering moving to Calgary and this trip was the push for us to do so. Sondos's is very friendly and helpful when were checking in and there were no issues checking out. She was a great host, since this was also our first Airbnb.   • We were the first guests to stay at Sondos condo and my wife and I were thrilled! The condo had everything we needed. Dishes, appliances etc. were all covered (including a Ninja Blender and Nespresso). There was a big flat screen TV and Wi-Fi which worked without issue. The decor and feel was light, cozy and modern. The bathroom and bedroom were very nice and the bed was very comfortable. Though, what we felt made this place so memorable were the window views from the bedroom and the beautiful 22nd storey walkout balcony. The views of the city at night were amazing. Not to mention Sondos has decorated the balcony with flowers, plants, a rug, fountain and a nice little two person couch which extends into a little bed. Sitting out there with a bottle of wine while taking in the city lights and sounds was definitely the highlight of our stay. The condo building itself is really nice and there is underground parking which was super convenient. The location is amazing as you’re close to East Village, Cowboys Casino, the Saddledome and the new Studio Bell! You are also close to the Ctrain line which can take you downtown. There’s also a really nice breakfast/coffee shop attached to the building (ZCREW Cafe) that we went to in the morning which had great lattes and amazing food! Sondos was a great host and was readily available to answer any questions we had and was overall really lovely to talk to and meet. She also left us some chocolates in the condo which was a really nice touch/gesture. Needless to say we are already looking forward to our next stay here when we make the trip into Calgary.   • Jeff's place was great! I booked this spot for my wife and I to get a good nights rest before grabbing a camper van the following day and leaving. The apartment is located in downtown close to tons of shops and restaurants. There was also ample street parking near the apartment and I believe there was also a spot for a car. Our flight was delayed pretty badly, but it wasn't an issue as check-in was easy. We slept well on the bed and took advantage of the very hot shower in the morning. The apartment was very clean, even for me wife, who has high standards for cleanliness. I was worried that the apartment might be cold, but it was nice and toasty when we showed up. If we were staying in Calgary longer this would be a perfect base of operations for us. I was pleasantly surprised at the space. Communication with Jeff was great. He messaged me within a few minutes every time I sent a message his way. Checking out was easy too. I would stay here again in a minute. Thanks Jeff!

  • Probably one of the best places I’ve stayed at, and I stay at mostly 4 stars hotels. The suite is on the 26th floor, tastefully finished and decorated. It’s meticulously clean and it comes with an underground parking spot. At that rate, it literally beats Radisson or Marriot at any given time. They responded quickly when I had a question about the underground parking. I would definitely suggest this place, and would forsure come back to stay at again.

Although on the 26th floor, the noise really carried up and made it difficult for me to sleep. Something to think about of you're a light sleeper or don't go to sleep until 11pm to 3am. Kitchen was good but if you're planning to cook you'll need to pick up more essentials from Sunterra up the street (only had salt and pepper). Other than that it was great, having parking included was fantastic. Bed was comfortable and shower was awesome. Thanks!

If you’re lucky enough to have this place at Stampede, you’ll have the best view of the action in Calgary. Please note that reservations during the Calgary Stampede are non-refundable 60 day prior to check-in (as opposed to the 5 day moderate policy which applies for the rest of the year).
    Across from Stampede grounds/Saddledome, the BMO Convention Centre, Cowboys Nightclub and Casino. Five dollar taxi/Uber to 17th Ave bars and restaurants, and a 5 minute walk to Stephen Avenue. Trendy Inglewood is really close to the east, but it’s a long walk, so I would suggest an Uber.

Laying in bed and watching the sun rise through the buildings, the night skyline is so vibrant. The WiFi and streaming services were fast, no dead zones. Nice hot showers, with good water pressure, great after long days hiking in Banff, Lake Louise, and Jasper. Wonderful location. Easy to get in and out.

  • We really loved staying at Phil’s place. It was in a great location and Phil was very accommodating. Unfortunately our car with a Thule on top wouldn’t fit in the garage so we had to pay for parking but there was a great little lot nearby with tons of spaces. The showers were great and there is shampoo and conditioner supplied. The kitchen was well stocked and we were able to make a yummy home cooked meal. There is a nice little store nearby for all grocery needs. The room darkening shades did not keep out much light so bring an eye mask if you are sensitive to light. All in all we loved our stay and would absolutely rebook if we find ourselves in Calgary again!

    The home was built in 2016 and features European Cabientary, laminate floors and stone counter tops. You have a view of South Calgary and part of the downtown core. Warning! It tends to be of a bit noisy area during stampede time.
    You are on the edge of west Calgarys area revitilization. Access to transit and the LRT line are steps away. Walk easily to the DT core and the river district.

Cute place with ALL you need to chill in a great city for a few days. Thoughtful touches, comfortable bed and so....convenient to the action of the dome, 17th ave etc.,, Daryl’s deck was closer than where some of our friends parked.

If you want to explore further, the C-Train is steps away! Underground parking was a nice touch to keep our vehicle safe and secure. The common space is wonderful for getting some fresh air and taking in the sights of downtown Calgary. The little things, like an available National Parks Pass for guests is a wonderful touch for anyone trying to get the Alberta experience. Rosso Coffee Bar, which is steps away, is a great little place to pick of some delicious coffee. Jean really thought of everything, and we were more than happy to stay during our time there.   • We began and ended our Canadian holiday at Mike & Hellen’s place, flying into Calgary before heading out to the national parks. It was a perfect base - we loved it at the start of our hols and so looked forward to returning. The place is stunning, with incredible views and in a great location. The unit has a stunning view, is located within walking distance to all the best of DT Calgary. 17th, Chinatown, Breweries and the brilliant architectural achievement that is the new library.   • WOW. The title on this listing really catches what this condo Is all about. Chic and luxury on top of the city. I don’t think we could have gotten a better view of both worlds , Calgary Tower with sky rises and the Rockies from every room. The only thing that was greater than the view was the inside of the home. So bright and airy, sparkling clean, modern but with a catchy design and decor. We felt like we were in a designer home living the highlife. Our hosts were as amazing as the home. They greeted us with free treats like snacks and soft drinks so we really felt like in a 5 star hotel. Their responses were quick and very courteous just like in the best hospitality places. Their check in method was great as we did not had to search for lockboxes, we only used access codes. We highly recommend Mike & Hellen’s place to everyone seeking quality.

You feel like you are sleeping in a cloud in the sky with the shades up, but Bre & Joel have two sets of shades if you want to block out the city lights and sounds. They were incredibly detailed with the check in instructions and the apartment is located in a central location for being able to walk everywhere! We would definitely stay again!
