  • Place exactly as described. Rooms in house with shared bath, good wifi, on edge of Watsonville with easy access to Route 1. Dog and cat were most congenial. I had a comfortable bed with topper. Host went the extra mile with warm hospitality. Down to earth lodging at a fair price.

  • Perfect place to start your highway 1 trip. Barbara is an excellent host and a fine woman. Highly recommended

  • I suggest that you ask for more photos, and make sure you know this is not an entire home you are renting but rather two rooms in a house. There is at least one cat living on the premises. Good luck.

Wake up to natural light in this vibrant studio guest suite with private entrance. Sip coffee & tea on the front deck amidst views of a bustling garden, happy chickens, and foraging bees. Enjoy the aromatic plants as you relax in the jacuzzi bathtub after a day's adventures in the neighboring towns of Monterey, Santa Cruz, + Gilroy, all within 30 minutes. 1 hour from SJC Airport. 10 minutes to Highways 1, 101, 129, 152, & 156, it’s a great rest + relax spot or hub for greater exploration.
The guest suite has a queen sized Casper mattress. A third guest (children included) can be arranged for $45 fee which is to be paid at the time of booking. The additional twin guest bed is a Zinus raised folding bed with 4 inches of memory foam.
The space is located on a private gated country road (the check-in instructions will provide the gate code) away from the hustle and bustle of neighboring towns. *If you are looking for a party in the center of town--this is not your ideal place. If you enjoy birds, this is your place. Gazing out you can see many migratory birds, hummingbirds, hear hawks in the distance, and at night you can even hear owls cooing to each other. Among our favorites, are the wild turkeys that roost in the neighbor's tree.
  • This place was so awesome - Savanna has put effort on the small things like nice coffee and high quality blankets. The location is also great, just far enough from the city to be quiet and close enough for a good time. Would definitely stay here again!

    Christie2019-01-14T00:00:00Z
  • This is a nice tidy and clean place. This would be a nice place if you want to get away from the city.

  • Great quiet clean place off the beaten path but close to area attractions! Enjoyed the peaceful stay!

    David2019-08-05T00:00:00Z
  • Nice relaxing accommodations away from the busyness of the city! The place is super quiet and comfortable. Wish we could have stayed a couple more nights!

  • Very cute place with great light. Bed was very comfortable, fresh eggs a great touch, and breakfast on the balcony was very nice. Great location between Santa Cruz and Monterey!

  • Savanna and Trevor's guest suite was a perfect place for a quiet weekend away from the big city. The area is beautiful and not far from Santa Cruz. The hosts were friendly and let us say hello to the chickens.

  • If it is cold, plan to bring space heaters. Arrive early to close windows and switch on the heat. We arrived with no heat and windows open. They won't warm it up for you. Be sure to read listing's check-in instructions prior to driving to address. You need to have a 4-digit code to get through security gate at entry to road leading to the property. Expect poor/zero cell-phone coverage on site. As others have noted, there's no WIFI either.

    James2018-12-31T00:00:00Z
  • This is one of my favorite Airbnbs that I've stayed in. The space itself is modern, pretty and super clean, and then the property is so beautiful, green and tranquil. We did the self-check in and that was super easy and simple to do. The host was quick and responsive with communication about how to do it. The way the host has put it together with a lot of thoughtful touches, it's just a very sweet, cozy, rejuvenating stay. I loved that they had chickens and bees and a gorgeous garden. And my husband really loved the space. We would go back. Overall, totally recommended! Thank you Savanna!

  • Nice, safe environment, cat and a dog. Good place for a student, the mattress is comfortable. The bed is against the wall and this place is attached to the house, not a place for romantic interludes. Hot water in the bathroom, cold water only in the kitchenette.

  • Rose’s guest suite is perfectly located between Santa Cruz and Monterey. My husband and I needed a few days on the coast and we wanted the flexibility to visit both. It’s about 20 minutes in either direction. The guest suite is located in a nice quiet neighborhood. It’s attached to the house, but we never heard any noise from the family. We heard their dog bark a few times, but it was not a problem for us, since we love dogs. It was very nice, super quiet and cozy! I loved the comfy bed! We would definitely return to Watsonville!

A suite with separate entry on a 4 acres park-like lot with nice views. Close to Watsonville, Gilroy, Salinas, a halfway between San Jose, Monterey and Santa Cruz. Small fridge, microwave, filtered water, kettle, Keurig. Soap, shampoo, conditioner and mouthwash. Dishes & cups. Jetted tub, shower cabin, a walk-in closet. Laundry available. Inquire regarding possibility to accommodate more guests in your party. The entire property can be used for special events for special amount.
You will occupy a unit on the first floor. It consists of the master bedroom with one queen bed and the master bathroom. Separate entrance through a brick-paved patio. It is good for 2 people. If you have more travelers, another room with a sofa on the same floor may be available for extra price (check for availability). Ample parking area. Fully equipped laundry room. Play with dogs and enjoy views on the entire lot with large mature trees. The patio surrounded by walls is perfect for parties or as the place to keep the dogs unleashed.
The name of the street means "The Hill". That's it: we live on a green hill with beautiful views. Wild turkeys and deer pass by, birds nest in the trees. In the morning, you can hear a distant rooster. Sunsets in September-October can be fantastic!
  • Gary and his wife were wonderful hosts. They were able to accommodate us even though we booked same-day and the suite was perfect: we had a private tub, private patio, coffee, snacks, and more. We would happily stay again the next time we're in the area.

  • Gary and Irene were wonderful hosts. Their place is beautiful. I felt I was at a 5 star hotel. Everything was clean and there were very thoughtful touches throughout the guest studio. Irene and Gary are so accommodating and really care that your experience is wonderful. The property is breathtaking. I loved the outdoor patio. Mornings and evenings were so nice on the outdoor patio. I hope to come back very soon. Their place is so close to everything. Perfect getaway.

  • Gary’s place is clean, cozy and comfortable. The bed in the master bedroom and the sofa bed are all comfortable. It’s a good choice for a group of 2-4 travelers. Gary and his wife are very friendly and hospitable. They offered us pantries, coffee and tea. We had a great night there.

  • This is a lovely house with a ton of room. The space is a great room in the downstairs with access to the backyard and surrounding land. Irene and Gary were great hosts and I would love to stay there again!

  • Beautiful and relaxing stay. Gary and Irene are great superhosts and the suite was very comfortable with all the essential amenities and much more ..better than a hotel suite!

    Yarira2019-09-19T00:00:00Z
  • Highly recommend this home. The guest suite is entirely private with a wonderful enclosure that’s a HUGE added bonus for traveler’s with dogs. The bed was super comfortable, plenty of pillows and blankets that felt brand new. The bathroom and kitchenette set-up were very smartly appointed. Irene and Gary are equally kind and warm hosts. Irene showed me around their home and grounds when I checked in, which I really appreciated! They saw to the smallest detail throughout my stay to make sure I was comfortable, as well as my dog. When I left my dog on the patio for a few hours in the evening, Gary thoughtfully brought a warm blanket out for him, which left an indelible impression on me. Gary and Irene’s hosting passion and enthusiasm is obvious and it shows—this is what Airbnb is all about. Thank you both again! :)

    Sima2019-10-01T00:00:00Z
  • We are a regular travelers, familiar with a wide range of accommodations and conditions. Gary and Irene’s suite is a five star gem. Great care has been made to make the accommodation as clean, comfortable and convenient as possible. It surpasses most presidential suites. Irene and Gary’s lodging is easy to locate yet private. It is a peaceful place, beautifully appointed, and of great value, but better still is Irene and Gary’s deeply genuine hospitality. They are super hosts. You’ll be glad you made the booking.

This newly remodeled studio is spacious, very private and comfortable. The California king bed, duvet cover, sheets and pillows all new. Amenities include electric kettle, toaster, french press, plates, cutlery, cups glasses, etc. I do not offer breakfast but there's a selection of snacks, tea and coffee and anything you might need to open a bottle of wine or two. The patio and comfy outdoor living room is also for you to relax and hang out. A gas barbecue is available to cook on if you wish.
Nestled in the inner section of the Monterey Bay coastline, away from the fog zone, this comfy cottage studio is the perfect quiet and private getaway. Close to some of the most spectacular scenery in California and excellent restaurants, wineries and breweries, you will never be short of something to do. Close by are miles of beautiful beaches, whale watching, sailing, kayaking, biking, hiking, birding, sunset gazing and people watching. What's not to love about this place where I'm so lucky to live.
Watsonville is a unique farming community, with wonderful organic and large scale farms. There are some of the best Mexican restaurants around and we are just a short distance going north to Santa Cruz (20 minutes) and south to Moss Landing (10 minutes), Monterey and Carmel (30 minutes). A drive to Big Sur takes about 45 minutes. You will find great seafood restaurants, wineries and stores throughout the area. The closest supermarkets are Safeway and Nob Hill. There is a wonderful local winery called Windy Oaks that has picnic sites and spectacular views of the bay. Corralitos Brewery is just around the corner. The Wooden Nickel, funky bar on Freedom Blvd has the best burgers around (the Nickel Burger is my personal favorite) and Cafe Rio at Seascape Beach has fine dining a coffee shop to enjoy morning coffee with a walk on the beach after breakfast. There are two of the best sushi restaurants around in Watsonville. So many things to do around here.
  • The studio is very functional and the decorations have a lot of cultural character. The outside seating area was quant and cozy. The bed was so comfortable definitely want to order the mattress. Easy access to the freeway and equal distance between Monterey and Santa Cruz. Jenny has put a lot of thought to what would be needed for a comfortable stay. Definitely plan on staying for another weekend getaway. THANK YOU so much Jenny!!!

    Smilez4dayz132017-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • Jenny was so amazing and accommodating. The ad was very clear. The room was very clean as well. The bathroom was neat and clean. There are were also little pieces of history in the room as well. I'll let Jenny tell the story. One little thing I liked was the French press. I have never made cold brew coffee before and the French press Jenny had allowed me to try it for the first time! We stayed with Jenny because the price was affordable and it was very central to Aptos and Carmel, which were the two places we visited. I would definitely recommend.

    Marcus2016-10-30T00:00:00Z
  • I would recommend this cottage to anyone. Very quaint and clean. Lots of interesting decor and hidden off the beaten path. Lovely time there. I would do it again. This place was an inspiration for my own Airb&b in SLC.

  • This was a very charming and comfortable place to stay. A short drive to the towns and sights nearby (Santa Cruz, Carmel, Elkhorn Slough, etc.). Good coffee, a lovely garden, a comfy bed, and thoughtful decor. Thank you, Jenny!

  • Sit back and enjoy the beauty and peace. This place is a little bit of heaven.

  • Jenny's studio was so well designed, comfortable and relaxing. She has a beautiful garden and cozy porch where we unwound with a glass of wine. We absolutely loved our visit and highly recommend her place! If we are ever in the area, we would definitely stay here again.

    Allison2016-09-28T00:00:00Z
  • Jenny was a great host! I told Jenny that I was bringing my two year old and she prepared toys and books which my daughter loved. The place is great with its own private entrance. Jenny's recommendation was also great if you want to check out the local bites.

    Nick2018-04-16T00:00:00Z
  • Jenny is such a nice host and provided great recommendations in the area, I was very happy to have met her. The location was also great. I had a busy schedule during my stay in the area so I appreciated the level of comfort I found there. Clean, quiet, private, quaint and again, very comfortable. I would love to stay there again.

Fall in love with this beach house style space located 8 minutes from the nearest beach and just 25 minutes from Monterey, Santa Cruz and Gilroy. A new remodel means you'll have that fresh feeling, enjoy lavish decor, and lay in bed with a great view through the open french doors. The property is located on 3 acres in a gated community. Oriented at the back of the house, and behind the garage, you have a private, fenced entrance with a lighted pathway.
Beachy feel with hints of local driftwood and soft tones. Purposefully tacky on the outside to completely awe you when you see the inside. Custom, handbuilt headboard, shelving, and mirror sets the mood to keep you feeling relaxed and positive. Dimmable lighting thought means you can enjoy the space at your own level. USB charging ports on both sides of the bed make charging your devices a breeze. A sound machine with MANY sounds and MANY volume levels and black out curtains will keep you sound asleep for as long as you please. The kitchenette area includes a mini-fridge, microwave, coffeemaker and supplies, some dishes, towels, cleaning supplies and trash.
The neighborhood sits amongst the hills filled with eucalyptus trees. A gated community greets you as well as the fenced in property. All properties in this community are 3 acres or more so you'll be surrounded by lush trees and hills.
  • WOW! All I can say is nothing but great things about this place. We were staying in Santa Cruz for the week and the location of this AirBnB was great! I have to say one of my favorite things about this AirBnB was the large closet and bathroom space. There is two sinks so that makes it extremely easy to have two people getting ready at the same time and not having to wait for someone else to finish. The bathroom mirror provides excellent lighting which was perfect for my girlfriend who used it to get ready and put make up on every day. Another cool feature we enjoyed was the ceiling fan. It provides great airflow and we didn't even need to run the AC unit. The fan has a cool sea breeze mode that simulates the breeze you would get at the beach making the whole beach feel even better! Feeling tired or want to rest? The room also includes a nice TV that is mounted on the wall. We were able to chill out and watch some of our favorite shows on Netflix. Lastly, the entrance to the AirBnB was pretty awesome! It is decorated nicely and looks even better at night when the lights are on. Do not hesitate to book your next stay here! You will feel like you are on a beach vacation with modern and clean amenities! Thank you for being a great host Jesse! We will be back again!

A magical Redwood Treehouse located it the beautiful Santa Cruz Mountains. There is a live tree growing right through the main living area and another in the bathroom! It is simply incredible. It was built by my friend, Randy, a stained glass artist. Everyone who sees it are delighted by it. Please read entire description before making a reservation request. It has a delicious high-bed, a kitchen with a small stove and refrigerator, and typical cooking tools. There is a full bathroom with shower and toilet of course. There is now a hot-tub at about 103 degrees ready for your soak before bed or a morning treat. The Treehouse is a short walk of a few hundred yards (about four minutes) through the beautiful woods from the parking area. There is a gas stove for heating. There is a TV and DVD player with many movies to choose from. For travelers this is the best of both worlds. A wonderful treehouse nestled in the redwood forest, a short distance to HWY 1(Pacific Coast HWY) the main vein to Monterey, Carmel-by-the-Sea, Big Sur, Capitola and Santa Cruz and the HWY 101 Corridor. People come from all over the world to experience the Pacific Coast specifically the Monterey Bay area. It is an area rich in history. Here you will find world class art, music, cuisine, golf, surfing, sightseeing, hiking, biking, sunbathing, whale watching, birding, fishing, Monterey Bay Aquarium, Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and so much more. You can spend the day engaged in a variety of activities, physical and/or cultural. However you spend your day you can return home to a mountain treehouse and quiet. The weather here is excellent. It is located in a micro climate called a ‘banana belt’. Though the beach is only 25 minutes away we are often in the sun when our neighbors in the valley and on the coast are in the fog. Winters are mild we average 25” of rainfall a year. Summers can be warm but delightful. The fog rolling in at night is nature’s air conditioner and everything cools down. The weather is nearly perfect. Fog burns off early enough to make the beaches comfortable all day. The Santa Cruz Mountains are home to Sequoia Sempervirens commonly known as a Redwood Tree. They are native only to a specific part of Pacific Coast region. Come and visit our amazing part of the world and experience something special about the California Coast. All linens are provided. The kitchen has the basic items for cooking, i.e., spices, oil, vinegar, sugar, and tea. Two-night minimum on weekends. THREE-DAY MINIMUM on HOLIDAY WEEKENDS. A 60.00 cleaning fee will be charged per each stay. We are a green establishment. Environmentally friendly cleaning products are used. We ask our guests to consider using fewer towels during their stay and not requesting a sheet change unless your stay is longer than a week. I have a moderate cancellation policy. You must cancel a full seven days before your reservation. Please make sure that you read it thoroughly. You will be charged 50% of your stay if you cancel after the grace period.
  • We arrived about 20mins later than anticipated, however, Mary Jane assured us not to worry with the text "no worries, life is good." That quote pretty much sums up the stay here. The star of the treehouse was Gray the cat. She was waiting for us as we arrived and definitely added a sense of warmth to the home. The hot tub was clean and facilitated much needed relaxation after a long day of hiking and driving up the coast. The amenities are what you would would hope for. Nothing more, nothing less. We absolutely loved the stay and will definitely be looking into staying here again. Thanks MJ!

  • We loved staying at the treehouse. It was a perfect cozy place to spend a rainy weekend. Mary Jane came out to greet us as we arrived to help us find the entrance to the trail and gave us a flashlight to help us find our way. It was a unique place that had everything we could have needed. I wish we could have stayed longer! We hope to go back.

  • A great place to relax. Surprised my husband for his 68th birthday. What a guiet relaxing time. In Gods creation.

  • This place is magical. Mary Jane is just lovely!

    Joyce2012-06-18T00:00:00Z
  • Mary Jane was in contact by text, and her family members were there to show us where to go. Nice people!

  • If you want an adventure off the beaten path, then this might be for you! Great laughs, great memories...it was like staying at a friend's home that happened to be elevate in the middle of the forest! Very homey and comfortable, but not upscale. Had everything that we could have wanted. I would say it's MANDATORY to arrive in the daylight...phone service goes in and out for GPS, etc. Great memories!

    Kristin2014-12-24T00:00:00Z
  • Mary Jane's place was a perfect retreat from the city noise. We enjoyed the fresh air, the birds and slept very well :)

    Anna2015-07-05T00:00:00Z
  • We had an amazing time in this "grown-up" treehouse, with beautiful appointments, a high ceiling, and windows everywhere to let the green in :) It's beautifully maintained and charming, and having a kitchen and bathroom in-house is a definite plus. The bed is comfy, and we had a marvelous stay. Thank you, Mary Jane and Marty!

It is a trailer with queen bed, kitchen, full bathroom, sofa bed. It will be full access to everything. Trailer only for guest. Also be aware that it is out in the country so you will hear birds singing, some dog barking and strawberry view.
The property has a baseball batting cage too, just have to let me know if you would like to use it. Trailer is a fifth wheel trailer with a queen bed, a sofa that converts into a bed and dinette that can also be converted to a full size bed too. Keep in mind that it is quite small for 4 people but 4 people can sleep comfortably.
I love to live here because it is outside of the busy street noise. The noise you hear around here are birds singing, maybe a dog and nature.
  • Yoana has updated the decor in this camper. It's really cute. The main bed was very comfortable. We had a nice stay.

  • Yoana’s place was nice and cozy!

    Nicole2019-07-11T00:00:00Z
  • The place was very clean and had a lot of amenities available for use. Yoana was very detailed and quick with responses!

  • Yoana's camper is very cute and cozy. It met all my expectations. It's a great deal for a one night stay. Very clean and spectacular. Definitely would stay again for another night. Would recommend this for a couple or small family. The bathroom was the only tight space but other than that I enjoyed everything else in the camper. It felt like home.

    Rafael2019-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at the Nomad RV was short but nice! The plane was very cute and Yoana was very helpful!

    Sunset2019-08-01T00:00:00Z
  • Good clean place to stay. Got back to his with information regarding location etc right away. We’d be happy to stay there again.

    Ken2019-09-06T00:00:00Z
  • Cute camper in a beautiful area! Check in/out was so easy. Woke up next to a beautiful vineyard!

    Abby2019-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • Overall, a lovely place. Adorably decorated, cozy and neat. Keep in mind the strawberry field located directly behind the RV will have workers in by 5 am and they play semi-loud music; not too much of a problem if you're a heavy sleeper but may be problematic if you're not.

You can spend the day engaged in a variety of activities, physical and/or cultural. However you spend your day you can return home to a mountain cottage and quiet. Spend your evening relaxing in the hot tub secluded in the Redwoods. Looking south from inside the cottage is the largest window which affords the incredible view of the Pajaro Valley. The queen size bed is placed so you can enjoy gazing out upon the fertile valley while lying in bed. Some mornings the fog lays down so perfectly one can feel wonderfully alone looking out at the sea of soft white. Sunsets are often remarkably beautiful. Sit on the front deck in an Adirondack chair with a cup of tea or glass of wine and enjoy creation. In the morning and evenings you can sit and watch and listen to the Mourning Doves, Band Tailed Pigeons, Oregon Juncos, Stellars and Scrub Jays, Hummingbirds, Hawks and Ravens. The cottage is bungalow style. It is like a large open studio. There is no separate bedroom. Just inside the big window there is a delicious couch and a loveseat that provide comfortable viewing from inside the cottage. The couch is large enough for a fine nap. It is also a great place to snug down with a book or magazine or some knitting. The gas heater stove is particularly cozy on a cool day. There is a piano in the cottage as well. Feel free to play. The cottage is fully equipped with a kitchen including a reproduction antique stove and small refrigerator. It has a newly installed bamboo floor. One can enjoy their breakfast with a breath taking view. Coffee and tea in the kitchen are for your enjoyment. The bathroom has a tub/shower combination. Bedding and fresh linens are provided. The cottage is heated with a natural gas stove. There is an oil heater for extra chilly nights. There is plenty of open space inside to accommodate several people practicing yoga at the same time. And it is quiet enough for meditation. We find many of our guests are looking for peace and quiet in their busy lives. It can be found here. Occassionaly the guests spend many days resting, reading, etc. inside the cottage or on the beautiful deck that looks out to Pajaro Valley. The weather here is excellent. • The cottage is set in a lush green space, surrounded by giant redwood trees with a deck which affords a wonderful view of the valley down below. We enjoyed having our breakfasts out by the deck . The cottage is comfortable and cozy and one cannot help but curl down with a book next to the heater. The hot tub and its location is an added plus.Mary Jane was a wonderful host and was quick with her responses. We had a small problem with the gas heater and her husband Martin came over promptly to help us out. All in all we had a great stay and enjoyed the greenery and quiet this cottage affords.

    Madhav2016-05-10T00:00:00Z
  • It was exactly what we hoped for, a secluded cottage with an amazing view, right next to the wilderness, and the private hot tub really put it over the top. It was really nice relaxing in it and watching the sunset. This was my first time using AirBnb and I think it will be hard to top.

    Jacob2015-11-01T00:00:00Z
  • I'm reluctant to give the Dragonfly Cottage a great review - the more people who learn what a wonderful, peaceful, unique, and gorgeous experience the cottage is, the less chance I have of booking it next year when we definitely plan on revisiting. It's like visiting a spiritual masterpiece inside a surreal photograph inside note-perfect postcard. It's high enough in the mountains to afford a fantastic view of the redwoods; the cottage's exterior is obviously the work of a dedicated craftsman; and the interior tops it off by being not just clean, well-lit, roomy and domestically inviting, but lovingly arranged and artistically balanced. One sense's immediately that their sense of style and anticipated needs have been carefully considered. And all the aforementioned is accented perfectly by the caretaker couple who could not be more friendly and available. Can't wait to come back next year.

  • My husband and I loved spending a long, tranquil weekend in the Drangonfly Cottage for my birthday. We took full advantage of the quiet of the surroundings to relax, talk and take in the majesty of forest. The cottage was cozy and bright during the day, with the deck perfect for drinking coffee and reading in the sun. At night we admired clear starlit skies from the hot tub, then cozied up on the couches, warming ourselves near the gas stove. Truly an amazing weekend. Mary Jane and her family were very accommodating and helpful during our stay, making sure that everything was in order but giving us our full privacy. Would most certainly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a weekend getaway! Thank you Mary Jane!

    Tiff2012-11-12T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage is beautiful, looking over a gorgeous valley and with everything you need for a cosy weekend. We stayed there for our anniversary weekend and wife's birthday party, and our hosts Martin and Mary Jane were very flexible and attentive to our needs while giving us so much space we felt very much like we were there by ourselves. There are so many cute touches to the decorations and facilities - I'll leave you to discover them for yourself. Oh, and don't forget to head down the stone steps to the hot tub; the perfect spot for a quiet glass of champagne while watching the sun set over the forest.

  • Great mountain getaway!

    Neil2013-04-29T00:00:00Z
  • The hot tub and killer views makes place so worth it! It’s a little bit of a drive through a cute town and up the mountain, but we really loved that part since we enjoy checking out new places. The property is super cute and I could have easily stayed there for way longer. A perfect romantic place for a getaway in the woods.

    Erin2018-07-26T00:00:00Z
  • Wow what a property. The view in itself is worth the money. Absolutely stunning. The cottage was really cute inside and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The placement of the hot tub with that view is so amazing and such a boost for anybody’s soul. We could only stay one night but wish we could have stayed longer as it is simply beautiful.

The Lodge at Tangled Oaks is a superbly converted barn on a six acre property on Monterey Bay. Positioned half way between Monterey and Santa Cruz, Tangled Oaks is directly inland from Moss Landing at the center of the bay. The stand alone 1000 square foot Lodge is finished in shiplap walls and tongue and groove ceilings. It has a full kitchen and bath as well as a fenced back yard suitable for dogs. The Lodge is regarded as a warm, welcoming place in a beautiful California country setting.
This is a county environment with lots of space between dwellings.
  • Exceptional all the way. Above and beyond what I expected. Wish we could have stayed another night. Lots of room and large king bed to relax in at night.

  • A true escape in a perfect lodge. We came here to have a heads-down planning night for an upcoming event, and with no distractions and a perfectly cozy setting, we got a TON done. Not only that, but we were inspired by the space and used the fully-stocked kitchen to cook a fantastic meal. Thanks to Nancy and Alex for creating a lovely retreat!

  • La Casita is the perfect home away from home! Don’t hesitate to book your stay here. We have experienced many Airbnb homes and La Casita is exceptional! Beautiful and comfortable decor that looked like it was done on HGTV ( no wonder: Natalie is a professional interior decorator). Every detail you could think of was done to make us feel welcome. Super soft towels and linens, comfortable bed, WiFi, and yoga area. We loved the outdoor space too with a bbq and picnic table. We also really enjoyed the chickens roaming around the property. And the extra treats (apple juice, farm eggs)were such a nice touch. Natalie was so warm and helpful. We were very impressed with the property and the location. We will definitely be back! Thank you Natalie and Kirt!

    Howard2019-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • The casita is very comfortable and tastefully decorated. The hosts are extremely helpful making the stay memorable. Thank you Natalie and Kirt.

    Mary2019-06-25T00:00:00Z
  • As the first guests of the Casita I am going to make sure to add a lengthy review because this place exceeded all my expectations! Natalie was very responsive from the beginning and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was very welcoming and comfortable. I must have just stumbled on this listing just as it was posted so there wasn't many photos before I booked it and I was just happy to find a bed to get much needed rest. When I walked into the Casita my jaw dropped cause it looks like it was just on an episode of HGTV. There were super thoughtful touches everywhere and everything is new and clean. Natalie had left us some snacks and sausage, and the sausage was so amazing that we picked up a couple pounds from the general store down the road to take home. I especially liked that there was some yoga mats left in the Casita, so I took advantage to stretch a little bit after a very long drive. Natalie mentioned that her daughter does yoga classes, and I wish that I had taken advantage of that. I had never spent time in this area and Natalie provided some excellent recommendations so we took advantage of the local dining tips before heading home. Thank you to our hosts and we hope to be back in the future.

  • Absolutely loved this adorable spot! We were traveling through the Santa Cruz area and wanted a place that was central to our route but still homey and quiet. This guest house had incredible decorating, along with thoughtful welcome gifts and an expansive book of recommended stops for our visit. Next time we are in the area we’ll definitely be coming back!

    Emily2019-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our cozy stay in Natalie and Kirk’s beautiful casita. They had some delicious local goodies waiting for us when we arrived. We really enjoyed it! We celebrated our son’s birthday in Santa Cruz and Capitola area, it was close and convenient. Natalie even surprise our son with a Mickey Mouse birthday pancake annnnnd hot chocolate. Such a welcoming family! We had a great time! We’ll definitely be back to visit!!

  • Sefla and Fras are very special hosts and their home is a quiet peaceful sanctuary. They thankfully opened it up for me, even though I was travelling with a 9-year old. Their house is furnished with taste and love for art and detail. Seflas' art fills the house with beauty and allows a peek into her way of seeing the world. A view very appealing to me. I Love the little Buddha in the bathroom ... his daring, knowing smile is what got me at first sight. Fred showed my grandson the fascination of a piece of threat and Ocean loved it. Thank you! What a gift in this fast moving world of increasing artificial realitity. I hope to return one day to learn more about Sefla and Fred and their journey through life. Thank you.

Our stay at Fred & Sefla's was definitely a highlight of the trip. They are both hospitable and easy to communicate with. We had a great time and would definitely recommend friends to stay with them.

  • One of my best experiences on Air BnB. Sefla and her husband were amazing. Their home was very quiet and comfortable. Everything in the house was clean. We had our own kitchen, dining area, bathroom, and bedroom. The hosts were very nice. Their hospitality was greatly appreciated. Highly recommended.

  • Great location for visiting Watsonville, San Jose, Santa Cruz area of California. Close to the Santa Crus Boardwalk, a State Park and San Jose. Drive a few miles to the Strawberry fields and orchards for the best strawberries and cherries you have ever tasted. Enjoy walking the Boardwalk and riding the wild rides at the Santa Cruz amusement park. The Beaches of Monterey and Carmel are just a short drive away. Return to a warm and restful atmosphere provided by your hosts Sefla and Fred. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this AirBnB. Henry and Joan

Private country cottage near the beach: ~ Set in beautiful valley with organic farming/backed up to a national wildlife reserve. This cottage (~350 sq ft) sits a few hundred yards away from main house on 7.5 acres. Great views out every window of the house looking out to the valley. Walking distance to beach (you can hear the ocean when the waves are up – close to Manresa State Beach and great surf). Located ~ 7 min away from the nearest grocery store and restaurants. Featured in travel blog!
The space is very private and cozy (~350 sq ft) with a great size deck and fire pit. It is a peaceful escape yet close to the beaches and town. It is a peace of heaven. We have beach toys, chairs and and an umbrella to borrow. We also have 2 aquarium guest passes that are often available on advance request. PLEASE READ and note: There are no curtains on any of the windows. It is a private but if you like a dark space in the morning this isn't a great fit. WE ARE NOT ON THE BEACH BUT CLOSE TO IT! We are ~ 3/4 of a mile to the beach walking distance or a 5 minute drive to a place where you can park if you have gear and want to do a beach day rather than walk down. I recommend if you have kids or you don't enjoy the exercise to just drive down (this is what I do with my 5 yr old when we head down).
We live next door a couple hundred feet away and you pass through our driveway to get to yours and the house. We are settled in a beautiful little valley where there are a total of 5 large parcels of land. It is very private and peaceful. Our small reclaimed wood business is just across the valley. If interested and timing works out we would be happy to open up our warehouse showroom and shop to you while you visit. We sell small and large home decor pieces and do custom projects as well. The business is called RetroXO. Follow us on Instagram @retroxo
  • Clean, cute, great location. Would come back again for sure.

  • Laura is a great host, absolutely welcoming and caring! She welcomed us with fresh fruits and was absolutely helpful about all our needs and questions! The cottage is super cute with all the wonderful little details, which makes someone immediately feel at home! It is small and angled, which makes it very cozy! The kitchen is super for cooking and provides everything you need and wonderful beach is very near! For a family like us, with one or two kids, it's perfect! ❤️

  • Nice space in a quiet location. Manresa beach (my favorite) is literally down the street. Looking forward to coming back.

  • My stay in Peaceful Valley was delightful! Laura and family are so friendly and have so many little touches in this cottage that made it a great getaway. It's beautifully appointed with furniture from their reclaimed wood collection, and I'm a total fan now. I especially liked the desk upstairs where you could sit and read or work while looking out over Peaceful Valley. The setting itself is calm and serene, and it's a convenient spot for going south to Monterey/Carmel or going north to Aptos/Capitola/Santa Cruz. Speaking of, the use of the Monterey Bay Aquarium guest passes is a fantastic perk. I finally went back for the first time since I was a kid! I'd just recommend that anyone thinking about staying here should keep the spiral staircase in mind. It wouldn't be a problem for most, though my parents couldn't handle it. Otherwise, highly recommended!

  • Laura was very responsive and staying at the cottage was so great! We really enjoyed the atmosphere of the cottage, and the aquarium guest passes really helped make our trip a memorable one! It’s a very intimate space perfect for my husband and I who celebrated our wedding anniversary!

  • Kelley and her family, thank you so much for your hospitality. Very attentive and outgoing. We felt welcome from the moment we walked in. When we came back to the cottage we found apples on the outside table, a warm touch. Enjoy the cottage, apple trees, vineyards, book reading, cute doggies, seeing horses and the sky full of stars. Cozy, beautiful and peaceful stay.

  • Great and secluded place to stay. Surrounded by fruit trees and grapevines. Kelly and Bruno were gracious hosts. They made recommendations for the surrounding area to explore. They also welcomed us with a bowl of freshly picked plums from their tree. We would recommend their place if you're traveling thru the area.

30 day minimum. The small room is perfect for a single person who does not need a lot of space. It can accommodate a couple as well, but it is very small. The site says "real bed" but don't be confused: all the beds in the house and cottage are futons, The small room has private access to a shared bath (so it's a private bath if there are no cottage guests) with its own door to the bathroom which means it is right next to the bathroom. Our cats and dogs are not allowed in the small room.
This is a Craftsman style country home on a sunny 1/2 acre just South of Santa Cruz. Ten min from beaches and excellent restaurants. With large decks, and patios, it is designed for indoor outdoor living. We are 60 min South from Silicon Valley, 90 min South of San Francisco and 40 min North of Monterey Bay Aquarium. Take day trips to Big Sur. or explore the local Redwoods. Or grab a bike and tour the local wineries and apple orchards on country roads just minutes from the house. Santa Cruz has a vibrant music and dance scene, a Boardwalk as well as sailing, surfing and kayaking. Access to a car and transportation from the airport is open for discussion... Bedroom and guest cottage are perfect for a couple. We can also accommodate a larger group -- up to three couples. Kids and pets welcome -- no indoor smoking please. Optional Amenity (Inquire Ahead) Wood-Heated Hot Tub: May be available depending on drought and other restrictions.
The property is near the top of a low ridge nestled in a country neighborhood At night you'll here coyotes and owls and also bats and a whole assortment of night critters. Because of the dry summer conditions as well as our resident bats, there are no mosquitos. We are close to excellent mountain biking trails and there's lovely road biking through orchards and local farms.
  • I had a lovely overnight stay at Christine's and I thought the listing information was totally accurate. Christine was most helpful and the perfect host for me.

    Mary2011-09-24T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Christine. There was one other person there who we had a great time with, as well! The house is very comfortable and welcoming. We cooked in the kitchen at least two meals a day and felt very much at home. There was a slight bit of confusion, likely on our part, about the accommodations; but Christine was very approachable and we worked everything out quickly! The wood-fired hot tub was fabulous! If you need a more spacious sleeping space, I would recommend staying in the house. If you like cozy, the cottage is your spot. Really, the only problem was that we didn't want to leave. We will certainly stay with Christine again when coming through the area. Thank you!

    MaryAlecia2012-04-17T00:00:00Z
  • This is an adequate room in a nice ranch house located in the coastal redwoods with garden kept grounds. Very green and quiet. Christine is very nice and accommodating. Very dog friendly. This is "shared European style" in-home private bedroom shared bath accommodation. Expectations should be accordingly.

    Ron2016-05-23T00:00:00Z
  • Christine’s property is gorgeous! It’s secluded in the best way, with a painless drive to beach or eat. The futon is really hard, but her listing and the reviews don’t make me feel mislead. She was a great communicator.

    Miranda2018-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • Although we did not meet Christine, she was very communicative and checked in with us throughout our stay. Her home is even more beautiful in person. The description says small room, but my boyfriend and I were very comfortable and didn't feel cramped whatsoever. Easy to get to Monterey and Santa Cruz. I highly recommend Christine's place!

  • Amazing California aesthetic

    Bill2015-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Wow! Such a lovely area! The gorgeous house is located in the beautiful forest, and it is so calm and quite. The house and rooms are really sweet decorated - and Christine is such a great host! She made us coffee every morning and let us use her hot tub in the afternoons. We loved it all!

    Lisa2014-08-07T00:00:00Z
  • Christine was a wonderful host. She was very accommodating and very gracious with her home. I was greeted by David and Molly when I first arrived and was left with a lot of room to myself. I appreciated all she did in preparation for my stay. I would definitely recommend this place to others and would stay here again if ever working in the area. Great place!

This lovely, restful glamp-site is handcrafted for rest and rejuvenation. Our 300sq foot Sibley tent, pitched on top of a brand new redwood platform, is a perfect getaway for couples or sacred solo respite. Enjoy the scenery, electricity, and a luxe outfitted queen-sized bed while getting your sleep-outside fix. -- Please note that we do have nearby neighbors -- This is not a remote forest glamping setup with absolute silence. Read below for more details. Thanks!
NOTE 1: THIS IS A TENT MADE OF CANVAS AND THEREFORE HAS NO INSULATED WALLS. THERE IS AN ARTIST COMMUNITY THAT LIVE IN YURTS JUST OVER THE BACKYARD FENCE. MUSIC AND CONVERSATION CAN BE HEARD AT TIMES. WE ASK THAT OUR GUESTS BE EXTREMELY RESPECTFUL OF OUR NEIGHBORS AND NOISE. NOTE 2: We are no longer allowing open fires for the season due to the high risk of fires. We apologize for the inconvenience. NOTE 3: No DRONES. Wi-Fi is available, but we're big fans of disconnecting if you're game to not ask for the password ;). You'll have access to the washroom at the main house and food storage. When you're not chilling in this sanctuary space or roaming our half-acre of fruit trees, wild roses, redwoods and oaks at will, it's 15 minutes to swimming in the ocean, 15 minutes to hiking in the redwoods. We have a list of recommendations and adventures in the works - more to come soon! LAND REQUESTSWe're in a sub-rural zone. You'll hear the lonely yips of coyotes at night, but we're also very respectful of our close-by neighbors. We will only expect the same from our guests. Quiet time is 10:00pm to 7:00am.
We have nearby neighbors who can be heard from time to time talking or calling for their cats. This is a thin walled canvas tent and therefore has no sound insulation. Noise travels easily and high volume talking and noise will be heard by neighbors. While we have no control over our neighbors noise, we ask that our guests be extremely mindful of volume, especially after 10pm. While the property is located in a more rural neighborhood, it is not the same as being camping in a remote forest. Corralitos is a valley town in the south county of Santa Cruz. Just inland from the great Pacific, we tend to be 10 degrees warmer in the summer and rarely get the fog and wind of nearby La Selva. Excellent surfing, hiking and biking is all at your fingertips, just ask us for additional recommendations. Our quiet side street off Amesti is a great mix of cultures, ages and backgrounds. We're well aware it won't be long before this gem of a smalltown starts to change, so we're enjoying it while we can!
  • One of a kind accommodation!

  • If you are looking for a unique "glamping" yurt experience, Jacob's place has everything you need! With great amentities such as very wonderful coffee machine, cooler, mineral water, hangers for clothes, convienent bathroom, games, and wifi--we had (almost) everything needed or could have wanted! When we realized we needed a knife, Katie was quick to communicate and it bring it out! The yurt exists at the back of their property, secluded by tall foilage. It is well ventilated, stylish, and has all of the mystical feel you might want in a yurt, while bringing the comfort of indoors outside. To enter the bathroom, it is necessary to walk directly by the master bedroom of the main house. It is a little awkward at night, but overall a minor nusiance. We also noticed the bathtub needed to be wiped down before using, but overall these were minor complaints. This has been my first yurt experience, and I definitely recommend you give it a try at Jacob's!

    Lucy2019-07-15T00:00:00Z
  • This place will blow anyone's mind, The tipi/tent is very large, it's tasteful, well set up and well equipped (heated blankets, everything you may need, the Nespresso machine inside was the cherry on top for me) clean and adorable, in the middle of the wilderness but still, with access to a regular bathroom, we'd love to come back, perhaps for a 2 night stay! (we didn't want to leave ☺)

    Jordan2018-03-31T00:00:00Z
  • Loved our stay-the ultimate glamp out! The tent was huge, decorated beautifully, and full of thoughtful touches-filtered water, coffee, tea, essential oil diffuser and board games. The bathroom was stylish and pristine.

    Collette2018-06-12T00:00:00Z
  • Glamping in this canopy is incredible. Jacob really makes the space feel luxurious with a coffee machine, water heater for tea, chic kitchenware, all the quilts you could need, and a very comfy bed. The bathroom is surprsingly easy to access as well. Hearing the coyotes howling at night and the nature all around you in the morning was something really special.

With so much going on in Monterey and Santa Cruz during the summer Knights Ranch is the perfect spot for resting up in between events. Too many exciting things to list here so check out the local calendar of events for listings and get your reservations early. We fill up fast.
Quiet, Private Setting. We are on 14 acres and behind a locked private gate.
  • The owner is very good. Just a little bit far. Very good experience.

    Abby2017-08-21T00:00:00Z
  • Everything is awesome! We wanted a nice, quiet location in the country, and this was perfect! The pool and hot tub were a nice bonus. Our little girl loved toddling around and looking at the animals. Debby and Jim are so nice. Debby was quick to respond to all our communications. The pictures are accurate, the place is clean, and really nice. We were able to relax, travel to Monterey Aquarium, relax some more, and even watch Monday Night Football, which was a nice bonus. We had such a nice time, that I'm sure we'll be back again.

  • A little gem, we had a fantastic time over Christmas. Debbie and Jim went over and above to welcome our family. Would highly recommend.

    Angela2017-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • Staying at the ranch was not just an overnight stay. My family had such an amazing experience and we haven’t stopped talking about it. Not only is it the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed at, but it has a charm and warmth that is so inviting. I feel that Debby and Jim have made this destination a place that you want to either stay longer or you know you want to come back to. Both my children were so excited that they continue to talk about it and didn’t care to be on their devices. They just wanted to feed and visit with the animals and fell in love with the ranch. We just can’t say enough about the owners, whom I can’t wait to visit with again! Highly recommend a stay here!

    Flora2017-09-24T00:00:00Z
  • Great place hidden away in the hills. No cell reception, but that was the idea - time to get away from everything and reconnect. The kids and us got to play outside, swim in the pool and walk around the property. I got to read a book in peace and quite outside. Debby and her husband even worked to get the big screen out so we could watch a movie outside at night (freezing, but the kids absolutely loved it!). In addition, Debby also made it a point to have eggs and coloring kits for the kids to make Easter eggs. A memorable trip.

    Shannon2018-04-02T00:00:00Z
  • Great Airbnb. You will have so much space to explore. Especially if you have children I would highly recommend this Airbnb. The goats, the horse, chickens and the dogs are very friendly and love attention. We will be back :)

  • Knights ranch is a wonderful place to stay: the accommodation is fantastic , comfortable and spotlessly clean ,for us as a family with 2 adult sons it meant we all had space and could also cook (The kitchen was excellent and very well equipped). We were only sorry we hadn't booked for longer on our road trip!

  • Cheryl's Gazebo Room was exactly what I was looking for - nestled behind her home, way off the beaten path, a 10 minute walk from the beach. She was friendly and helpful but totally respectful of my privacy, shared all the info I needed to enjoy my time there, and the room was a perfect space for one. (It'd be great for a romantic two as well...) It was ideal for an almost unreal 2-day getaway to the area - a short drive to surfing the Hook and all of the fun spots in Santa Cruz, yet removed enough to be totally peaceful.

    Robert2015-08-29T00:00:00Z
  • Cheryl had good communication before our trip and arrival. The property was nice and quiet and the gazebo was very clean and ready for our arrival. The separate bathroom was also clean and had all the amenities we needed. It is its own little building with a shower/sink/toilet and only a 10-15 second stroll down the path past pretty plants and succulent gardens. The beach is only a 10 minute walk away. We would stay again.

    Andrea2015-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • We had an awesome stay in Cheryls cute little garden house. It is a cozy and well kept place, close to the beach with amazing sunset views. We are sad to only have stayed for two nights!

    Stefanie2016-09-05T00:00:00Z
  • Super cute place, host very gracious, heard coyotes calling to each other in the night, and overall great experience. Succulent garden was amazing and you hear the ocean from the unit, but not see it.

    Karen2019-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • My friend and I stayed here for two nights and had the most amazing time! The Gazebo is beautiful and Cheryl is the sweetest host, we felt very welcome and comfortable during our stay. The location can't be beat-5 minute walk from the beach and surrounded by beautiful green hills and flowers, yet still close enough to drive into town for meals. Overall, our stay at the Gazebo was peaceful, refreshing, and definitely one for the books!

    Hannah2017-03-17T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great experience. We were on a walking adventure along the coast and Cheryl's house was the perfect place to stop for us. Cheryl is a very gracious and cheerful host. She had all the amenties we required.

  • Adorable, Cozy, and Comfortable. Spotlessly clean with lots of lovely natural light. We like the proximity to Seascape and La Selva Beach. It has a very quiet country feel. The host was very helpful and responsive and the unit was equipped with all the amenities we could hope for. The toilet and shower structure is in another building but it is for the sole use of the Gazebo guests. Nice and private. We hope to stay again!

The house is on a quiet street in downtown Watsonville, walking distance to restaurants, grocery store, yoga studio, park, creekside-trail and more. Hope to see you here!

This is a cute old house on a quiet street in historic downtown Watsonville. There are many beautiful old houses and I love walking around the area. I love the opportunity to walk to the market, restaurants, performing arts center, parks and more that are in my area.

Lots of Mexican food which worked out in our favor since it is our favorite :) Philip was away on his own adventure but still kept in tough with us. We would stay there again.

    Christina2018-03-25T00:00:00Z
  • Philip was a fantastic host. Easy checkin, clean & spacious room & close to Santa Cruz/Monterey. We had come down with colds during our vacation. Philip & his girlfriend left nasal spray, waters, teas & lemons for us. Very kind. Felt like a safe area as well :)

  • Cool space with everything that we needed! Highly recommended

This house is located close to highway 1. Has a million dollar view from the back deck. The house is located close to Santa Cruz & numerous beaches. I have a cat & a small dog. I can vacate or hang out with my guests. I enjoy cooking & try to eat healthy foods.
This neighborhood is special as it’s off the beaten path & fairly quiet. The Wooden Knickel is a great local restaurant that’s been around since 1978. A lot of parks & stores close by.
  • Nice warm home!! Felt like I was at my Grandmas

  • Very homey cozy casual. The view from back porch is amazing. Barbara is welcoming and helpful and also allows the guest space for their own routines.

  • Clean, comfortable and quiet.

  • Jeanie’s place was awesome. Clean and comfortable. Safe. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay.

    Kellen2018-09-24T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful host! Great room. It's the best place to stay if you're going to visit Santa Cruz and Monterey/Carmel.

    Vanessa2015-09-06T00:00:00Z
  • Great location for visiting several places along the coast! The place was clean and access via the keypad was easy. We arrived late on a Friday night so we had to park down the street a bit but the rest of the time it wasn't a problem. It was nice having a fridge and attached bathroom; the bed was a bit firm. Good value.

    Julie2018-05-28T00:00:00Z
  • Hidden Gem! Not too far from Santa Cruz and Monterey. Down the road from a locally sourced farmers market. Wonderful host. We had fresh flowers, welcome card, fresh fruit and water/coffee in the room upon arrival. Very clean and tidy. Jeanie is quick to respond and very thoughtful. Very peaceful neighborhood, quiet and across from a park.

    Cato2018-07-01T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I stayed here when we came into town for a wedding. It was only 15 min away from the wedding location. This room was clean, very comfortable, and quiet. There are large bushes between the bedroom window and street so you have more privacy. We didn't have to deal with a key exchange, Jeanie arranged a door entry code with us beforehand. There's also a Target nearby if you forget to pack anything.

    Krissy2017-09-10T00:00:00Z
  • Such a great place in such a great location. We arrived quite late but that was no problem at all. The communication with Jeanie was very good and she provided us with a detailed description how to enter the house. The room itself was so pretty and very nice decorated. In the morning we could enjoy a cup of coffee, which was great. The little fridge in the room is also very convinient when travelling. We had a great stay and it definitely was one of the good airb&b experiences. I can highly recommend this place to stay!

    Marion2015-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • Cons: None! Pros: Room is accessed without disturbing the whole house, no key needed, very confortable bed, mini-fridge, Keurig coffee, tv with Roku player and is own bathroom; but the biggest pro: Jeanie was a great host! Would I recommend this place? A resounding yes! It's right in between Monterey and Santa Cruz, plus Watsonville is a nice looking town. My husband and I couldn't have asked for more from this place. Great price, great comfort and perfect location from the popular sight seeing sights.

  • Tim and Hasmik are absolutely incredible hosts. They welcome you to their home as if you are family. They both go above and beyond to make you feel at home. When we arrived they had set up the litter box I’d shipped ahead for our cat and provided a food and water bowl with her name on it. They cook amazing meals for breakfast and invited us to try traditional Armenian dishes. The outdoor space is spectacular full of fresh fruits and veggies as well as beautifully flowering plants. This was more than an Air B&B it was an opportunity to meet two amazing people and be welcomed into their lives.

    Sarah2019-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • Tim and Hasmik were the most welcoming and hospitable AirBnB hosts we've ever had, and we've had many good ones. The facilities they provided us were great: comfortable bed, roomy bedroom and roomy bathroom, all the little things provided as needed, quiet and lovely country location, etc. etc. But the thing that separated this AirBnB visit from all the others is the warm and welcoming attitude they showed us, and it quickly became apparent that this was a deeply felt attitude, not just a show for the purpose of pleasing the customers. We also appreciated that they were perfectly accepting of our rather strange hours (late nights out dancing, etc.)--we did do our best to creep in quietly. Oh, and the breakfasts they served us were outstanding.

    Stephen2019-09-09T00:00:00Z
  • Tim and Hasmik are absolutely incredible hosts. They do everything to make you feel at home and to help your visit be better. We enjoyed every aspect of our stay - the room and the bathroom are big, clean and comfy. The special thing about Tim and Hasmik is their very friendly and personal approach. They treat you as a friend. We enjoyed sitting and chatting with them on their very nice deck. The breakfast they cooked for us was delicious.

It is a trailer with queen bed, kitchen, full bathroom, sofa bed. Toilet and shower are in a separate private space. It is a quiet place perfectly suited for resting. Expect to hear some dog barking sometimes. It is a remodeled older fifth wheel model so don’t expect everything to be new.
The trailer has all the services needed. It is 8 minutes away from Pajaro Golf 🏌️ , 30 minutes away from Monterey and 30 minutes away from Santa Cruz. It is in between both cities. There is a convenient grocery store 2 miles away and a shopping center 15 minutes away for your convenience.
It is a ranch, so my property has private fence and a private gate. It has a nice view to the strawberry fields.
  • Good spot to sleep and have a stay over. If you are looking for a place with good wifi, this is not your spot! Good beds, and wonderful vintage trailer!!

  • We stayed here overnight on our drive from SFO to LAX and it met our needs well. It’s an RV/Caravan so you have to appreciate that you aren’t going to have lots of room but it was plenty for our family and the bed was amazingly comfy. The host is awesome and really helpful. The best part is the tranquility. It is incredibly peaceful during the night.

    Graeme2019-07-13T00:00:00Z
  • It was a pleasure to stay here. The place is even better than the pictures! Lots of privacy and Yoana was very considerate and attentive to our needs. Would stay again :)

    Jaden2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • It was a quiet place, pretty small place, you got everything you need, kitchen, fridge, microwave, hot water shower, separate toilet... Yoana is very responsive. The place are safe. It would be more interesting if the RV locate in the open air. Now only half open air. Anyway it’s very interesting experience living in the beautiful small home. Will come again..

Relax and restore your energy on our beautiful private horse ranch. The RV is a living unit with enough space to stretch out and be comfortable. Get cozy and enjoy the ranch experience and/or explore our area. Aromas is centrally located to both Santa Cruz and Monterey Bay. Traveling with your horse? Special accommodations can be made for your equine family. We have many local hiking and equine trails in our tri-county area.
Please expect the living space to be close to horses. Some may love that idea, some may.......
Our ranch is also located just minutes from the historic town of San Juan Bautista. Incredible antique shops, the San Juan Mission and yummy restaurants are within a short drive from the ranch.

  • We really enjoyed our first ever stay in an RV! It had everything we needed and was huge! In the morning Darlene and family were having an Arabian horse day and welcomed us to come along, which was an awesome bonus. Thanks Darlene!

  • Amazing experience! The ranch is great fun to live on with a variety of animals around. Darlene was a wonderful host and showed us around which was a lot of fun. • This is a great place for a cozy, peaceful stay. The cottage is comfortable, bright, and even better than the photos. The location is convenient to hiking, wineries, groceries, etc.; but the property is away from town and very tranquil - we ended our day on the deck, looking at the stars, with the creek running and crickets chirping in the background. Extremely easy check-in; very responsive hosts who live on the property but were very respectful of our privacy; clean; well-stocked kitchen (dishes, pots and pans, coffee maker, toaster oven, tea kettle); comfortable bed; ample towels and blankets. Highly recommend, and we’d gladly visit again.

  • This is the perfect place if you are looking to get away from the crowd! We spent our days walking trails or painting while listening to music. The cottage is super cozy and relaxing and I would definitely recommend it if you need a retreat!

    Sarah2018-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • The place is exactly as represented in the photos. The creek behind is calming. It is a private space, perfect for a weekend getaway. There are wineries all around if you are into wine. Morgan Hill is a quiet little place. The cottage was clean, spacious and the patio was cool. We had an amazing time! The amenities are super sufficient and the kitchen is stocked with enough utensils/equipments for making a full fledged dinner. Thank you Denise!

  • Denise is an amazing host! The place is gorgeous, private and quiet. Highly recommend. Ryan

    Ryan2019-06-28T00:00:00Z
  • Denise's place was beautiful. It was in a gorgeous setting, had very nice decor, was convenient to grocery shopping, and had everything we needed. Although it was not the only house on the property, it felt very private, which is what we wanted as we were looking for a place to unwind from our stressful jobs in Silicon Valley. Our favorite part was the deck overlooking the creek. We had a nice meal there while drinking some wine. Denise gave us a complimentary bottle of wine, which was a very nice touch. We would not hesitate to go there again and we hope we can again this year.

    Rosalind2018-04-08T00:00:00Z
  • This is a lovely cottage in a beautiful quiet setting along a creek. It is close enough to Morgan Hill that it is easy to find good restaurants. The hosts were helpful and welcoming.

  • Had a great time staying here! Really great spot for a chill weekend, just close enough to downtown (10-15min drive) but still the feeling of being far away from it all. The place had a luxurious feeling and was really welcoming with plenty of amenities. We visited on a pretty warm weekend so was great to have some A/C until the evening when things cooled down.

We have a little guest house on our property that we're blessed to share with family, friends, and the airbnb community. We're a 10-15 min walk to our private beach. Close proximity to both Santa Cruz and Monterey, and close enough to San Francisco to explore the city for a day trip.
Our guest house is a very spacious 1 bedroom cottage with separate living room and kitchen. We call it Sand Dollar Farms because of all the sand dollars that can be found on the beach at the end of our block, not because it's an actual working farm. The house looks out onto 15 acres of native landscape from the living room (as well as some falling down greenhouses that used to be part of the orchid farm in the 80's) You can feed the chickens out your kitchen door, stroll to the beach at the end of the block, read a book in the sunshine and then cozy up in a blanket once the coastal fog rolls in. It's great space to unwind after a long day of exploring everything Santa Cruz, Monterey, and San Francisco have to offer.
We live in the country. Every time I step outside, I'm reminded of this in the animals I see right outside my back door. Deer, possums, hawks, owls, rabbits, mice, snakes, lizards, gophers, coyotes, you name it and you'll see it.... from the cute and awe inducing to the not so sweet and cuddly. There isn't a day that goes by that we don't see at lease one of the above mentioned critters. Walk down to the beach and you'll be amazed at the shore birds, dolphins, otters, and whales that you can sometimes spot right from shore. We feel so lucky to live in such a magical place where we're constantly reminded of how amazing mother nature is.
  • We had a lovely stay! The place is stylish and clean. The beach down the street is just perfect- dreamy, open, gorgeous, clean, without many people. We went kayaking all day in moss landing one day and another spent at Monterey bay aquarium which are both highly recommended and short drives away. Here are tips: - Bring warm lounging clothing, it takes a lil while for the place to heat up - Connect to internet for communication the reception is spotty - bring butter /oil for cooking those delicious eggs!

    Leah2017-12-04T00:00:00Z
  • The home is absolutely charming I wanted to pick it up and take it home with me, the amenities were great, fridge, stocked kitchen, stove, beach toys, TV, books, coffee etc...Treats for the pup and a cozy bed that he adored and chicken watching ;) We are not familiar with California so that was on our part it was off the beaten path for us but not too bad a short drive north to Santa Cruz and a bit longer to Monterey, I would come back just to stay and relax for sure. The land and surrounding areas are stunning, we saw coyotes who aren't afraid of people, bunnies and lizards. I don't think I would change a thing! the kids adored the place just as much. Thanks for sharing your home it was a pleasure for out first road trip to Cali, it won't be out last!

    Rachel2016-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • Rusty and Angela’s place was wonderful! The home was clean and very comfortable. We wish we had more time to stay longer. The close walk to the beach was also a perk! I highly recommend this stay to anyone.

    Alicia2019-07-21T00:00:00Z
  • Rusty & Angela's cottage was very stylish and clean. It was dog-friendly as well -- I really appreciated the clean dog bed and water/food dishes they put out for our pup. Their cottage is well situated for a jumping off point to Monterrey and Santa Cruz. We really loved being able to walk to the semi-private beach down the road. We enjoyed staying here and wished we could've stayed longer than a weekend.

    Crystal2018-11-13T00:00:00Z
  • An absolute IDEAL place to stay if you want a relaxing beach getaway. Was perfectly clean, on a beautiful & quiet street, was great for our dog & so comfortable and accommodating for traveling with young kids. The whole cottage was spotless and the kitchen had everything we could possibly need - including a wine bottle opener, coffee maker, and adorable vintage oven to heat up our dinner leftovers! Aside from an easy walk to the beach, and very friendly hosts, our FAVORITE part was the awesome shower head! Already looking for dates we can sneak away again and head back to Sand Dollar Farms. The perfect way to experience Santa Cruz County!

    Carson2019-05-19T00:00:00Z
  • We loved everything at Rusty & Angela's place: it's peaceful and comfortable, very close to a beautiful private beach where we had long sunset walks, and the hosts are really welcoming! Don't hesitate a second to book if you want to explore Santa Cruz and Monterey area!

    Isabelle2018-02-05T00:00:00Z
  • We had an awesome stay! Super cute decor, very nice hosts and the perfect location for some peace and quiet and beach time!

  • Perfect little beach getaway. Cute little cottage with plenty of space to relax after spending time outside. Easy walk to the dog friendly beach. Quick drive to Moss Landing, Capitola, Santa Cruz and more! Loved getting to have our dog travel with us. The cottage is even equipped with a dog water bowl and food bowl. Easy check-in and communication during our stay.
