This is an Artist 1 BR PRIVATE LOFT apt. You'll be in the heart of Boston's Historic North End District, one of the oldest communities in Boston. Steps to Public Transportation, Waterfront, Restaurants, and Cafe's.... Parking is NOT included however I will recommend the best possible option, which is to park in a nearby garage ($22-$28 per 24hrs). Overnight street parking is prohibited throughout Boston unless you have a special permit.
You’ll have private access to the entire apartment.
One of the safest neighborhoods in all of Boston filled with Italian restaurants, coffee and pastry shops.
  • Great place. Pretty small but pretty good

  • Jame's place is really warm and comfortable. My family and I had a really great time here. Location is very convenient. There are so many great restaurants close by, and it's only 16 dollars uber to the airport. James is also very considerate, all the communication went smoothly. I never meet the host, but I can definitely felt his thoughtfulness and hospitality. I would totally recommend this place.

  • Clean and well-kept apartment in the beautiful North End. Bova's Bakery down the street is a must. We loved walking around the neighborhood and found Ernesto's pizza as we were heading out (another must!). Great stay!!

  • Perfect location to experience all that North End and the surrounding areas have to offer! Apartment was clean and organized. With all the great restaurants nearby we didn't use the kitchen but it appeared to be well stocked with all the necessary utinsels if you wanted to cook.

  • A beautifully located and nicely decorated flat. It had good space for two people and was an excellent base for a couple of days. Although I didn't see James, he gave excellent instructions that made the visit a hassle free experience. The best thing about the place is the location, which is maybe a 15 min walk from Quincy Market and right in the middle of North End, which has a huge range of great places to eat.

  • Great place. Very clean. Close to major restaurants downtown. Would def stay there again

  • James place is very private, easy to get to and has everything you need. Very clean and quaint. Loved the charming neighborhood and the pricing was very reasonable. Highly recommended for a single person or a couple looking for a fun get away in Boston! Very conveniently located to all the highlights of Boston and the Harbor. Will stay here again!

Our home is in the heart of the South End, surrounded by restaurants, art galleries and shopping. A short walk to Copley Square and public trans. This spacious room has dramatic views of the Boston skyline of nearby Copley Square. You will enjoy a hand-crafted, wooden king bed and two comfortable chairs. A kitchenette includes what you will need for your stay when you aren't enjoying various neighborhood restaurants. A bathroom is ensuite. Parking in Boston is difficult and expensive!
Boston's South End is a historic district in a city full of history. Victorian bow fronts line picturesque streets interspersed with small, gated parks, even one just for dogs. A delicious array of restaurants and cafés tempt you from breakfast to dinner. Theatres at the Boston Center for the Arts feature cutting edge performances while galleries dot Harrison Avenue in what has been dubbed the 'SoWa' neighborhood. One-of-a-kind shops are sprinkled throughout offering unique products - no chain stores in sight! You are a 5-10 minute walk to Copley Square and the grand Boston Public Library, and then another leisurely walk to the Boston Common and Public Garden.
  • Great location and value

    Aaron2017-12-05T00:00:00Z
  • Kathe and Lisa’s place is amazing! It is located about 7-10 minutes walking from both Back Bay Station and Copley Square making it a great location within the city. The space itself is a great place. It has a large king bed making it great for 1 or 2 people, and Kathe and Lisa went above and beyond at making the place great with some food in the refrigerator and toothbrushes and toothpaste in the bathroom. Do note that there is only a small kitchenette, there is no stove in the apartment, but even then the apartment is fantastic! Would highly recommend!

  • Terrific hosts, easy, welcoming, clear.

    Ann2016-11-04T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great 3 night stay in January! The owner’s had excellent communication throughout the entire process. The complimentary coffee and tea were a nice bonus as well. Made us feel right at home in a great neighborhood!

    Michael2018-01-14T00:00:00Z
  • Kathe & Lisa’s place was just as described, and that combined with their thoughtful touches and hospitality made for an amazing stay. Their home is located in a quiet and safe residential area within walking distance to most destinations in downtown Boston. The room was spotless and they were extremely responsive and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend Kathe & Lisa’s studio to anyone looking for a relaxing home base while exploring Boston!

  • Everything you could want in a studio apartment in the heart of Back Bay neighbourhood. Very comfortable and clean and well stocked with the things you need!

  • Great location in the middle of it all! The unit was clean and easy to find. Parking can be a challenge so consider public transportation or Uber/Lyft as an alternative. It’s a busy area so I’d recommend ear plugs if you’re not used to city noise. We would definitely stay there again.

    Jason2018-02-11T00:00:00Z
  • Great spot - would stay again.

    Karen2017-08-28T00:00:00Z
  • Place was great! Exactly what I needed for business trip. The place is right in the middle of the action on Newbury street, which means easy access to great food and shops. Wifi was fast and reliable. Was very noisy, due to street traffic (especially loud due to bar crowd on weekends). Don't stay here if you're looking for peace and quiet :) For the price, it doesn't have a dishwasher or any additional frills or comforts, (a nice rug to cover the hardwood floor and bathmats would be nice), the bathroom is slightly outdated. but otherwise it was a really great place to stay and I would very likely stay again. Thanks Sonder!

  • Awesome location and perfect studio apartment accommodations.

    Michael2018-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect location, very clean, nice touch of having welcoming cold water in the fridge. Loved the place, hated the process of having them request to copy my drivers license for their records. This is the first place requesting that, even though I have used airbnb over the last few years in and out the us.

  • Ken was a great host. Easy to communicate with and left great directions for us.

    Maggie2017-08-24T00:00:00Z

  • Lovely place in a beautiful city. Apartment was clean, spacious & all instructions were easy to follow!!

    Ashley2016-11-18T00:00:00Z
  • Kens place was a nice stay for a single mid week night. I will say the parking is quite small and hard to get into though if you bave anything larger than a tiny sedan.

    Ajah2017-11-15T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay at! Plenty of restaurants within walking distance, and felt very safe. There is a noticeable difference in the air between the bedroom and living room/kitchen area, but everything was pretty much as advertised. The AC unit is in the bedroom, so it felt hotter in living room area. TV worked well, fold out bed from couch is fine for a few days. There was a welcome binder which was helpful. Complimentary coffee provided which is nice. Quick responses from the property manager for any questions I had. Would definitely recommend to stay here.

Getting in and out was easy. We hadn't checked our e-mail on our 2 day drive to Boston so we did not know about the key box but they came down to show us how to get the keys and we had no problem. Location is great excellent neighborhood with easy access to dining and subway system. Apartment is very private with lots of windows for light and fresh air. First floor and private entrance. We hope to stay here again.
