La Bufadora is one of the largest blowholes in North America, often shooting upwards more than 30 meters (100 feet). The path to the blow hole is lined with local shops offering food, drinks, souvenirs, restaurants, and more.

The area has numerous restaurants, souvenir shops, a dive shop and a recently added museum. While visiting you can board a boat and take a tour of the Sea of Cortes reliving the story of the little whale who created the blowhole. One of 3 in the entire world, this gorgeous, natural marine geyser is always active. La Bufadora's splendor is magnified during high tide, yet active throughout the day. Be prepared for a trek uphill and bring pesos. Lots of vendor booths that cater to tourists. Delicious food. Try the grilled clams with cheese near the geyser (toward the end of the uphill path). This is a great place to take the whole family. Outdoor pools, zip lining, hiking and plenty more outdoor activities. We recommend to show up early, it’s a very popular place in the summer. Closed for part of the winter, you might want to call ahead for those hours.

Sooo many things to do here. You can camp, zip line, ride horses, rent Atvs and Rzrs and ride them around their sizable trails. There’s a nice size lake with koi fish and paddle boats that you can rent.

Iconic place, you have never been to Ensenada until you go to Hussong's Cantina. A place with a lot of history and character, over 120 years old. Have a beer and order a banderita (lime shot then a tequila shot then a sangrita shot in rapid succesion). A must when in Ensenada, don't be alarmed by how full it is, there is always space for one more person.

Extremely long lines on weekends, but the view from above dining area is amazing! This place has live bands, great local brew beer (Chivo Grunon). But be prepare to wait 2 hours or more for a table during busy season. I recommend this place on a week day around 4-5pm, just before the sunsets to get a breath taking view of the whole area.

One of our favorite properties to visit. It's got it all: a great restaurant, a casual food trailer, a delicious ice cream stand, a coffee stand... all in a great environment amongst vineyards. This place a better for families and groups than other places but still has a youthful trendy vibe about it. Enjoy some time perched on top of their oversized wine barrels and take photos! One of my favorite restaurants in Ensenada! Javier, the owner, is always great and very attentive. You must try the queso fundido (type of fondue with tortillas) and the huitlacoche risotto with lamb. Anything you order here is delicious. Great assortment of wines. The restaurant is located in the garden area of what used to be a house. The front part of the house is now a wine store. Great Place !

Deliciousness at it's best! If you have money to splurge be sure to head on out to Deckman's. The place is set in the middle of Rancho El Mogor which has it's own winery and organic farm. Everything is cooked with wood and outdoor, it's truly a unique experience. Dining area is in a building made out of hay bales. Try the Mogor Wines, I personally love their red. For lunch or dinner do the Ribeye Steak (it takes a while but is superb) or one of the pastas

About a 30-minute drive south of our place and you will be out in the Guadelupe Valley which is filled with local wineries. Great day trip. Get an early start as the wineries usually close by 4pm or 5pm. Some of the smaller wineries require reservations so call ahead and plan your day. Also, Sunday’s are family day in Mexico and many wineries might not be open.
