Vacation rentals with beach access in Encinitas

Location! This rental is walking distance to everything in the heart of Oceanside. Steps to the beach, short walk to all restraunts in downtown Oceanside, .75 miles to the harbor. Rental was plenty big for 2 adults. Highly recommended! Perfect place to stay for a wonderful getaway!

Mary and Tony were amazing and attentive hosts and you can’t beat the location! Surrounded by water and beautiful beaches in every direction. We were there over New Years Eve and on top of a little welcome basket, they provided us with New Years hats and noise makers for the festivities. Very thoughtful. We were traveling with our 11 month old and I was very grateful that the they had a pack n play and baby tub (they only have a shower at the Airbnb, so baby tub was a necessity!). The stairs up to the Airbnb are steep, but they do have a baby gate. I didn’t really trust the gate, so kept my little one away from that area altogether (I would maybe recommend a gate that bolts into the wall for better security). We had everything we needed there and felt very much at home. We will definitely stay there when we come back. Highly recommend! Thank you, Mary and Tony!!! :)

Best airbnb experience I have had so far Forsure. Great view . Directly on the beach. Super close to food. And lots of tools in the kitchen to be able to cook.

I thought the photos in the add undersold the place. It was more charming and fresh that I had imagined. The art was bright and uplifting. Loved being so close to the boardwalk. Street noise was part of the environment when on the porch, but we slept just fine.

I was familiar with the area before I stayed & was glad to find a place in this location. I've stayed in this and the adjacent unit several times. It's an easy walk to restaurants & stores. The unit itself has what you need for a great stay, it's clean and comfortable. The property manager, maintenance & cleaning crews are fantastic when I've needed to interact. In fact, I had an issue with my rental car & they were patient & helpful while I dealt with roadside assistance when I should have already been off the property. Lovely people, all of them. At the north end of Mission Beach near Pacific Beach, it can be lively some times of the year but I've never had issues with too much noise, even in warmer months. Parking is easy & fits our 4-runner which is a great benefit at the beach. Blackout shades on the bedroom windows block outside light, the beds are comfy. As with other ground floor units, you can hear people above you when they are there but nothing out of the ordinary.

Outstanding place in a terrific location and a great, communicative, and lovely host. It's right on the water, so you can hear the soothing sounds of the waves crashing. The bed and home is extremely comfortable. There's tons of terrific things to do. The host is very responsive, clear, and kind.

Great location and good use of the space. Walkable to restaurants and the beach. Good instructions on how to check-in. Would stay here again!

This place reminded me what San Diego is all about. The location is perfect - a quick bike ride to sunset cliffs, the ocean visible from the front porch, and a 5 minute walk from the main strip of Ocean Beach. Absolutely loved everything from the bikes to the lemon tree to the comfiest bed and blankets ever. The home is equipped well with bathroom and kitchen electronics as well. Outside of the home, Joshua is extremely kind and let us check in early since our previous arrangements did not work out. I can’t gush about this place enough.

My family (4 adults and 2 teenagers) stayed for about a week. The three bedrooms gave us lots of space and we enjoyed hanging out together in the very comfortable common areas. The location was amazing and we spent much of our time on or near the beach. We had easy access to everything we wanted to do in the San Diego area. Hosts were very responsive. We had a small hiccup with a ceiling fan and the hosts responded quickly and had the issue resolved within a day. Would highly recommend and definitely stay again.

Enjoyed our stay in the future we would like to bring our service animals because it is close to doggie beach, not sure if that option is available because there was a very strict policy about pets. Typically with Airbnb services animals are allowed but we did not bring our dogs to this location. Other than that the place was great we loved riding our bikes. Very clean.

This place was HEAVEN!! We fell in love with the place. The place was spotless and looked exactly like the photos. A 15 min walk to restaurants and shops. We enjoyed the view from the couch every morning and the view from the lifeguard chairs in the evening. The Airbnb hosts were helpful and responsive. This place felt like home and can not wait to book again! Thank you!

Anthony was very responsive to our few questions that we had. We loved the place—it was perfect for us. They had thought of all the little frills that make it nice: seasonings and enough,kitchen, utensils, and kitchen, tools, and games for the kids. And the fact that my husband needed accommodations for his wheelchair, etc. the house was very accessibility, friendly! Thank you, Anthony!

I stayed here for three weeks. It was wonderful. The place was neat and cozy. Walkable to restaurants, stores, museums, and, thrilling to this midwesterner, about a 90 second walk to the beach. Felt totally safe walking around at night. Communication with Rachel was great, and Pete who managed the property responded immediately and was full of helpful suggestions, from where to order pizza to where to get my car fixed. Really enjoyed my stay, and would love to return some day!

This was a super awesome place to stay. My family was very pleased. Huge place to stay in.

Great house! Nothing beats the location. We took our toddler and pup for a quick getaway and they loved it. 3 minute walk from the beautiful beach and closer to the Carlsbad village. Clarissa was a GREAT host. So friendly and responsive. The house has everything you need and want out of a beach house. The house is so charming and beautiful… we will definitely stay here again!!!

Such a great getaway location! Quick and easy access to the beach, walkable distance to multiple restaurants, quick and easy access to interstate for a couple day trips to San Diego. Amenities were helpful and convenient, including multiple things for our young kids to do. Would love to come stay again!

All-in-all nice vacation spot. You can always find something to complain (i.e. musty odor mentioned in the previous review is a fact but everybody has a different tolerance level). Bikes are GREAT addition to the experience as you can almost drop using your car unless to stock up in Trader Joe's. Sandra is very welcoming host, instructions are clear and precise.

Maria was always available when I needed to speak to speak to her. She is a warm and professional person. The place was just beautiful. We had everything we needed and more. Parking was easy. The ocean view was magical.The place was quiet and restful. We are coming back in May for my birthday. I can’t wait to return. It is the ideal spot to vacation. I would recommend anyone to schedule a vacation with Maria.

If I could give this place 25 stars, I would! This was by far the best AB&B experience my family of four has ever had. Dalma was super responsive to all questions and even came right over when we ran into an issue with the fireplace that we caused. The home was immaculate, and the upgrades were impressive! Dalma put so much thought into every detail, and we had plenty of supplies for our weeklong stay. The location was awesome, just steps away from the water and a ten-minute (and gorgeous) walk to fabulous restaurants. Parking was not an issue and the neighborhood was cute! Lovely greenery and landscape all around. It rained during our trip for a couple of days but none of us was upset about being stuck inside because there were so many comfortable spots to play games, soak in the tub, or read a book by the fireplace. I will definitely book this place again and again! Thank you so much for your hospitality Dalma!

Perfect base to enjoy all Carlsbad beach and village has to offer. Hope to come back again

This location is amazing! I have stayed in many places in Oceanside but this was hands down the best yet. It is close to the best beach for surfing in the area, walking distance to the Harbor and downtown restaurants, and right off the highway for easy access. The complex is a beautiful garden with an excellent work out area and many other amenities. Paul's place is nice, although showing a little age around the edges. We had a little trouble getting in initially due to a policy change at the complex but Paul answered his phone and quickly solved this. I would highly recommend this rental.

I believe this is our 3rd stay at this amazing condo! Absolutely beautiful and the view is amazing. Super clean and has everything, shampoo, soap and well stocked kitchen. Everything is as described and the view is worth it! See you next time

We loved our stay at Abraham's condo. We used the jacuzzi, the ping pong table, fed the Koi fish and made some nice meals while there. The kitchen is well equipped! We walked on the beach multiple times each day and kayaked at the harbor which we also walked to. Amazing place. Roomy and a short walk to the pier. Even caught a surfing contest going on next to the pier on Sunday morning. Awesome visit and appreciated Abraham letting us come into the condo one hour early. Five star all the way.
