Vacation rentals in Decatur Township

We were only there for one night for a PENN STATE football game. We drove from Maine and Leann let us check in early so we could grab a nap before the game… very quiet location and two mornings we were able to watch a momma deer and her two babies graze on the lawn. Absolutely beautiful!

This is perfect for an individual or a couple to enjoy a stay at a wonderful guest house. I was there in the winter so could not use the outdoor pizza oven or the fire pit (rained a lot) on a raised deck. The kitchen I used for my entire stay and the appliances are first rate and the kitchen had a nice island for prep. Would be nice if a table with 4 chairs was added so I had a place to both work on my computer and eat while looking out at the gorgeous countryside. King bed is SUPER comfy. Great place for someone to stay in Happy Valley who is there to travel around. Home base for me during my 3 day stay.

Big Rack Rentals #2 in Weedville, PA was so much better than described, and that we expected! It was just perfect for the 3 of us for our impromptu getaway for a different kind of Thanksgiving! The home was so very well laid out with a wonderful entryway into the living room and dining room area. The kitchen area was so very convenient too! Bedrooms , beds, pillows and linens were very comfortable. Sleeping was a very quiet, peaceful experience! The hot tub was just terrific too! We too a dip all 3 days!!! We made a 3 foot Hoagie the first night! The 2nd day, we ate out at The Straub Brewery only 25 minutes away, and stopped at all of the LOCAL gift shops an indulged in bringing home lot of the local Elk souvenirs and Local products! On Thanksgiving Day, we cooked complete meal in their fabulous kitchen with about 20 different items/dishes, including appetizers and of course, a 16 lb Turkey!!! We had a terrific getaway with 3 Nights and 3 Days! The 3 of us GIVE THEIR AIRBNB 5 STARS!!

What a cozy Thanksgiving retreat!  We celebrated my nephew’s 11th birthday and Thanksgiving here. There’s plenty of space to prepare large meals and gather around the long table.  The cabin is well stocked (wood, paper products, kitchen supplies, and etc.) and the fireplace is immaculate.  We loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom. It snowed during our stay, and the cabin windows made you feel like you were in a beautiful snow globe. There were plenty of spaces to spread out, play games, read a book, or just relax. Our family enjoyed building puzzles and playing darts, ping pong, Connect Four, and Hookey in the basement. We also built a snowman and went sled riding. The ski room was perfect for hanging wet gloves/coats to dry.  The main steps did get slick when loading/unloading, even after shoveling, but the host made us aware of this ahead of time. You can tell the hosts take pride in this cabin.  They were attentive and responsive. We would definitely stay here again!

Very clean and bedrooms were a nice size. Kitchen was vey clean and I had everything that I needed as far as dishes, pots & pans and utensils. We would definitely stay again!

Susan and Steve are great hosts of this fantastic condo. They replied very quickly to any questions or concerns I had; always in a positive manner. The condo itself is really well appointed. All of the furniture is in great condition and very comfortable. They have provided everything you will need for a relaxing stay (fresh linens, bath towels, bath gel, shampoo, kindling for the wood burner, etc., etc.) Also, think odd little things that you may have forgotten, like plastic wrap, plastic storage bags, scotch tape, measuring spoons, etc. Yes, the kitchen is fully stocked. There are pots, pans, dishes and coffee mugs as well as spices and (although limited) some cooking oils. Rent this condo on your next trip to Blue Knob! You will NOT be disappointed. I have stayed at several condos there, this one was the best by far.

Beautiful property, spacious and clean home. Our stay was peaceful and private, Josh was always quick to answer if we had any questions, I would highly recommend for a large group or family!

Lisa’s cabin is AMAZING! Plenty of space and more bath linens than you could possibly use! Although we spend most of the weekend at the racetrack, the time spent at the cabin in between was a perfect recharge each evening.
