FAQs

My home doesn’t have windows. What can I do?

Artificial light often creates unnatural color casts, so we encourage hosts to focus on capturing their space with natural light instead. If your home depends on lamp lights, that’s fine too. You can turn them on and capture at the time of day that reveals the most light.

It’s the holidays. Should I photograph my decorated home?

We love seasonal images; however, it’s important to remember that images often stay up year round unless you change them frequently. For this reason, it’s best to capture your home in a way that works for all seasons.

I typically make a meal for my guests. Should I include it?

Sure! If it’s included in their stay, then we’d love you to add it. Keep in mind that if it’s something you don’t always offer, it’s best to not include it, as this may set unfair expectations.

Accessible amenities: should I include them?

Absolutely! Ramps, shower chairs, grab bars: if you’ve got them, flaunt them. Guests want to see whether or not your home is right for them, and highlighting these items in your images and descriptions helps guests quickly determine if your home has what they’re looking for.

Should I photograph spaces I don’t offer to guests?

We suggest only including images of spaces that guests have access to. This will help reduce misunderstandings and set guests’ expectations.
