Beautiful, quite place, very cozy. Penny and Gary are really lovely people and gave us few good tips where to visit. Would highly recommend to stay at their place. Have to mention the hot tub ☺️

One of our favourite places we have ever stayed - I would recommend Jodie’s place to anyone visiting the area. Jodie was a fantastic host who made sure we were comfortable, and the farm was a spectacular location with beautiful surrounds and even a resident platypus in the dam! The breakfast with homemade sourdough was delicious and the cabin itself was everything we could have wanted and more. Thank you for making us feel so at home and helping to make our holiday so special.

We had an amazing stay at Michael and Julie’s house! The property features two renovated and well-designed batrooms. The location is ideal, with reasonable access to Gunns Plains Caves, the breathtaking Leven Canyon, and the iconic Cradle Mountain. It’s also conveniently close to Coles, Woolworths, and the adorable little penguin colonies. The home was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, making it a perfect base for exploring the area. We highly recommend this property and look forward to returning in the future!

We had a lovely stay at Ian & Marj’s place. Room was comfortable and clean. Location was a short drive from Burnie and equipped to prepare simple meals.

Scott and Maggie went above and beyond to make us feel welcome in their comfortable home highly recommended to anyone staying in the area.

Absolutely fantastic! The one thing we couldn’t control was the weather, it rained everyday of our holiday bar one, but there wasn’t a better place to be hulled up with the panoramic views of the ocean and young alpaca’s playing in front of their Mothers. Michelle gave us a tour of the farm and it was very special. We were able to pat and hand feed most of the animals. It was truly a truly wonderful experience. Michelle was a great host! Very friendly, generous with her time and helpful.

Trish is a great host and responded quickly to questions. She pointed us to the little penguin observatory in burnie which is the place to go if you want to see penguins. The view from the garden is lovely and we enjoyed sitting outside in the evenings. The room was well equipped. The only point I would make, which is my fault for not realising before I booked as the photos do show it in the listing, is that the bathroom is opposite the kitchen area and the loo is just separated by a screen. It was ok but if you are shy or need a bit more privacy it could be an issue.

Gorgeous bungalow that makes you feel like you’re removed from the rest of the world. Cosy little space and private garden area, very comfy beds and lots of books and board games to keep you amused.
