The apartment (45m²+ private patio) is located on the banks of the Saône, a 5-minute walk from the historic old Lyon district. Located on the 1st floor (no elevator), hillside of an old building on the bank of the Saône river, the building corridor is a little rustic (17th century). The apartment has been fully redesigned, keeping its authenticity. I made it my refuge, away from the hustle and bustle of Lyon. However, this place is not to everyone’s taste 😊. I describe later the pros & cons.

Parfaitement équipé, il dispose d'une chambre avec un lit Queen Size de 2 x 80x200 ou d'une literie 160*200 , d'une SB baignoire, d'une cuisine avec tous les ustensiles nécessaires et d'une méridienne de 177*78 cm pouvant servir de lit pour un enfant. Park couvert à 200m en bas du jardin. Attention : accès par petite allée pavée.

In the smallest village of the Lyon metropolitan area, Rochetaillée, a space of tranquility and greenery. Pierre de Lune is an independent studio in an old building in Pierre Dorée. With its own terrace, it is away from the noise but close to everything, from Lyon (30 minutes by bus, stop 100 m away) as well as shops, restaurants and walks along the Saône. A quiet corner to rest and discover the charms of old Rochetaillée, close to the guinguettes and the Monts d'Or.

The studio has a bathroom with shower and toilet, a desk, an equipped kitchen (stove, fridge, kettle) and a bedroom with dressing area and washing machine, air conditioning, Wi-Fi (fiber). Decor found at the Lyon Flea Market. Coffee, tea and herbal tea available.

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Fully equipped and functional kitchen (oven, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine, microwave, fridge/freezer...), quality suspended bed (160 cm x 200 cm) and electric shutters for restful nights, bathroom with washing machine, plenty of storage. Balcony with view and not overlooked, free parking at the foot of the building. As you can see, you will find everything you need for an enjoyable stay in Lyon.

Free street parking CAUTION: narrow staircase not suitable for people with large builds

A staircase starts from the "entrance of the artists", then upstairs, we are in the "Suzanne Valladon" room, a painter who lived not far from here. Where art and art of living meet in a cozy atmosphere! Breakfast is offered with homemade products, fresh orange juice, included in the price.
