“Corfinio is the ultimate authentic Italian village for a holiday. Away from tourists and commercialism, and set in a stunning location. There is an air of old world charm, and a different life. The apartment is great and has everything we needed. The photographic opportunities are endless. We were met by Alessandro’s father in the piazza, who directed us to the apartment. The village is too small to get lost in. Nearby are supermarkets etc, but you do need a car for convenience. If I wanted to unwind somewhere, there is no better place.”
Ancient country house completely restored immersed in a park of 6000 sqm.
“Marco is welcoming and available for every request. The house is very large, furnished with taste and simplicity, sufficiently heated. In two families we were fine, although there was only one bathroom. The location is a bit 'far from the center of Cugnoli and requires the car. We hope to return.”
Attention to detail, a warm family atmosphere and country furnishings for an unforgettable stay. A wonderful structure all in wood and stone immersed in the peace and greenery of nature, in total privacy and away from the chaos of the city, equipped with every service and comfort. For an authentic and welcoming holiday, to feel at home and even better! A romantic getaway, an escape from the thousands of everyday stresses, a journey into the serenity of idyllic landscapes.
“Eufrasia was a fantastic host, available and always reachable by phone for every need, she even changed the pellets and turned the stove back on while we were out to let us find the house warm and welcoming on our return at the end of the day! The house is absolutely unique, welcoming and furnished with much personality and craftsmanship by the landlady. In any case, it is equipped with all comforts: for cooking, relaxing, lighting the fireplace, taking a hot shower or simply watching TV. From the windows in the morning we could see not only the valley but also the nice horses in the nearby enclosure. The place is extremely suggestive, located in a wide valley surrounded by mountains where various villages are located, all easily accessible (at least in February, when we came, without snow). Gagliano Aterno, however, struck us in particular because apparently almost uninhabited, the damage from natural disasters that took place 10 years ago led to a progressive depopulation, so if you are looking for commercial activities or anything else, we went to nearby countries. For those looking for good insulation, this place is great. From there, however, we arrived comfortably in various places of interest such as the Hermitage of San Venanzio, the Grotte di Stiffe, L'Aquila and in less than two hours we also arrived in Subiaco! It was a memorable stay.”
