E-bike along the sun-drenched Marseille coastline

Take in the fresh sea air and panoramic views of the Mediterranean during a three-hour cycling adventure along Marseille’s stunning coastline, riding electric bikes to guarantee a smooth, comfortable journey. • Meet at a bike shop in Vieux Port to pick up our bikes and go over the route. Then we’ll head out along the Corniche Kennedy, one of the most spectacular coastal routes. • After escaping the bustle of Vieux Port, stop at the Vallon des Auffes, one of Marseille’s most picturesque spots, and the Plage du Prophète, a wide, sandy beach. • Glide through the rugged landscape to the fishing village of Les Goudes, where we’ll take a break for drinks at a local shop before returning to central Marseille. Whether you’re a seasoned cyclist or just looking for a new way to experience Marseille, you’ll leave with a fresh appreciation for the Mediterranean coastline.

Sailing Trip on a Catamaran in Marseille Bay

THIS IS A DISCONNECTED EXPERIENCE. Smartphones are turned off at boarding. You will embark on a 12-meter catamaran with François, a pro skipper, and quickly go underway, sails only, no engines, to experience the poetry of gliding on the water in silence. Help welcome ! Only if you wish, you can participate in boat manoeuvres and learn how a sailboat works and is safe. After a 1.5-hour, the boat will anchor in a calanque in the Frioul archipelago or the Côte Bleue, depending on the wind direction on that day. You will then be able share a drink, have a bath, paddleboard riding or just chill out. Note: It is a unique experience on a beautiful boat, in a warm atmosphere and an extraordinary landscape. Under the shade of the sails, in silence, your ability to marvel at the beauty of the sea will make a difference. François will do his best to make this to happen and it usually works wonderfully ! The sea makes us happy, allows to meet ourselves and the others. We will be back at Port de l'Estaque.

Explore a magnificient and unknown neighborhood of Marseille

In Marseille, you have tourist attractions as "le Vieux Port", Notre Dame de La Garde, la Canebière, les Calanques, the Stadium but you have also magnificent, really unknown and silent areas just next to the center of the city ! All the photos you can see, have been taken about 15 minutes far from the Vieux Port ! Leaving from Vallon des Auffes, we'll follow the all too often noisy and polluted "Corniche" by going through back roads. We'll pass at the edge of rocky coves less busy than beaches, and discover secret gardens, picturesque cottages, abandoned sculptures and old mansions by walking along green paths and banisters through a lush vegetation. A gorgeous route that only some insiders know about, if they live in the area ! For photography lovers or just for the pleasure, we'll take meditative breaks when arriving at the wonderful view spots over Marseilles natural bay. Of course I'll tell you about the history of this district and its evolution with the rise of the real estate and the arrival of « famous people ». After three hours power-walking (ascending and descending quite a few stairs !), we'll access to a little piece of heaven overhanging the sea.A guaranteed change of scenery ! Come with me to discover an other Marseille ! Other things to note WATCH OUT ! You need to be in good shape for this kind of walk. When we finish, I'll take you to the bus stop (number 83) close to the Prophète's beach or you can rent a city bike or scooter nearby.

"Old Marseille" neighbourhood tour and treasure hunt

Are you looking for an original way to discover Marseille and its hidden places on foot? This experience, accessible to all, offers you an unique and playful visit of the city, combine with a treasure hunt. I provide you a game and riddles booklet from my creation that will allow us to move forward from stage to stage, such as a real Sherlock Holmes, and thus find out the hidden path we have to follow. Streets or alleys name, details on monuments or facades, objects of urban furniture, you have to walk with your eyes wide open to resolve the riddles. In short: we walk... we have fun... we discover. Le Panier neighbourhood, the "old Marseille", and its surroundings will be your playground during this activity. A walking distance of about 4.5 km, without much difficulty except some stairs, for a real travel through time to meet the heart of the Phocaean city. As a resident of Marseille for several years, I will unveil you many unknown places but also some must-see ones, and tell you about the sites met, their History and even their legend, while keeping a playful spirit.

Clearly THE best way to discover Marseille’s many facets while enjoying a memorable day on a Fat E-Bike! These electric bikes allow you to ride effortlessly on both paved roads and rocky trails, making exploration a breeze. Our adventure begins smoothly with iconic landmarks like the Palais du Pharo and the Vallon des Auffes, as well as some hidden gems just as spectacular. We’ll then follow the Marseille coastline from the Vieux-Port to the edge of the Calanques National Park, where the city gives way to untamed nature. A well-deserved swim in an emblematic cove, followed by lunch at one of the area’s best restaurants (not included), will punctuate our day. (You are also welcome to bring your own picnic if you prefer ) On the way back, we’ll ride through green havens like Campagne Pastré and Parc Borély, weaving through trails, gardens, and historic landmarks. Catamaran à voile dans l'Archipel du Frioul

Vous embarquerez sur Le Souffle baladealavoile, un catamaran de 12 m avec François, skipper pro, et prendrez la mer pour une navigation sous voile, moteurs éteints, pour goûter à la poésie de glisser sur l'eau en silence. Vous pourrez si vous le souhaitez, barrer, participer aux manoeuvres et apprendre le fonctionnement d'un bateau à voiles et sa sécurité. Après 1h30 environ de route, le bateau mouillera l'ancre dans une calanque de l'archipel du Frioul en fonction de la direction du vent ce jour-là et de la tranquillité du mouillage. Nous partagerons un verre et pourquoi pas… un bain de mer. Vous pourrez pratiquer le paddle ou le farniente. Note : Ce n’est pas une visite de lieux précis mais une navigation sous voile où la contemplation, le lâcher prise et l’écoute sont privilégiées. C'est une expérience unique sur un magnifique bateau, dans une ambiance chaleureuse et un cadre extraordinaire. À l'ombre des voiles et en silence, votre disposition à vous émerveiller de la beauté de la mer et des paysages, de la rencontre des gens à bord, fera la différence. Le skipper pro fera tout pour que ce soit réussi et ça fonctionne en général à merveille ! La mer rend heureux, permet de se rencontrer soi-même et les autres. Highlights of the Luberon, hilltop villages and ochre cliffs

Start time: 8:45. Meeting place: tourism office. Join this day tour from Avignon (limited to 8 travelers) and discover the Luberon's top attractions. After a 45-minute drive, we'll first stop in the charming town of Fontaine de Vaucluse, located along the river Sorgue at the end of a lush green valley. You'll have time to discover on your own its impressive spring, where water flows out from a mysterious chasm. On the way to the next destination, Gordes, a photo stop at a breathtaking overlook is planned. Minutes later, I'll drop you by the town's ancient castle from where you can easily explore the cobbled streets of this world-known hilltop town and admire stunning views of the valley. Meet me again and head then to Roussillon. A longer stop here will allow everyone to have lunch (lunch not included) and also to enjoy a stroll around the colorful streets of the town. If you opt for a quick lunch, you'll also have time to walk the Ochre Trail (entrance fee not included - 3.50€), a pathway through the cliffs of a former ochre mine. Meet me back after lunch and discover another hill-top town, Ménerbes, listed as one of the most beautiful in France. Enjoy a walk along the peaceful streets of this fortified village, that inspired the British author Peter Mayle to write the successful novel «One Year in Provence». Afterwards, we'll head back to Avignon.
