Liz and her Husband Dirk went above and beyond. Their accommodation is really special around the whole property. There are little cute things all around like a descriptions about their chickens, and their space. There’s a lot of love in their home. It’s lovely how Liz and her husband are proud of their heritage and are able to share it with their guest. The space is very nice. The host provided so many wonderful breakfast options and options for purchase as well, even a thoughtful honest system where people if they forgot anything can use and purchase toiletry items. The location feels very secure and easy to get to and from places. The host offer a taxi service to and from the airport, which is a very reasonable local price. They are very accommodating of my late flight times . I would highly recommend to anyone. They also have wonderful glamping options . Thanks so much!!

As advertised, this is indeed an oasis in busy Johannesburg! The directions were very clear, location was easy to find, and check in was easy. The space itself is lovely - spacious, very clean, and extremely well-equipped. Little details like lovely shampoo, conditioner, and soap and the kitchen being pre-stocked with coffee, eggs, butter, milk, and all sorts of spices for cooking made us feel right at home. This is one of the best AirBNBs I've been to from an attention to detail perspective. The garden is also lovely, and the cottage is very private and secure. The location is fantastic - close to everything from Sandton to Parkhurst to Zoo Lake. Liza was proactive and friendly with communication, and has really put the time into making sure that we were safe and comfortable.

Honestly, this is really a piece of heaven when you need to get some time to reflect, relax, and switch off. It's close enough to restaurants and shopping centres for convenience, but it feels like you're completely away from civilisation when you're at the farm. Ryan is a wonderful host and person and was so accommodating. The Karoo Lodge is beautiful and it has to be experienced to fully appreciate its beauty and energy. If you love fires burning and listening to music on vinyl, this is the perfect setting for you! So impressed by Big Inja's facilities and beauty. Honestly, this was everything I needed and more! What can I say?! An incredible spot to spend a few peaceful days in the city. it felt like a home away from home the second we walked through the door. Our hosts were fantastic and made us and our pups feel welcome the entire time we were there. The pool was a delight, and the view over Sandton was glorious. I can't recommend Alex & Gideon, or their cottage, highly enough.

Glen and Paul are friendly, present, low key and responsive. Their cottage is peaceful, secure and restful. I loved the homey feel and the obvious attention to detail - there are little luxuries like amazing water pressure in the shower, a fan in the bedroom for hot mozzie nights, a coffee machine, and quality decor. I appreciated their generous & thoughtful kitchen supplies (which made self catering a breeze for a busy professional on a work trip). The location is also convenient - situated in a central, grand part of old Johannesburg. Thank you - I'll be back.

Staying at Hugo House was just what we needed for our family of five. Check-in was incredibly easy and Steven responsive and helpful. You feel right at home once you enter. The kitchen is fully equipped which made it easy to prepare family dinners. we could do a BBQ in the quiet, private garden and the kids enjoyed the pool, especially when it got nice and warm from the sun. Once a week Veronica would come and clean the place, super helpful especially with kids. The house itself is perfectly located, we could take morning strolls to the Woolworths Food nearby, or to Checkers at The Woods Shopping center. There is a lovely play area for young ones at the center while our older ones joined coding lessons. It was so convenient that it was just 2 min up the road. Hyde Park Shopping Center is also just a minute away. It just seemed like everything is really close, it is a lovely location. The compound itself gives you that feeling of security which you want. Thank you Steven!!

Fantastic home, we felt it had a very homely atmosphere with all the amenities required. Location and security wise it was perfect. The view over the golf course from the outside stoep was amazing, best coffee spot ever! The artwork and the furnishings were so well suited to the house, was such a pleasure to be there. Michael was amazing with his communication from day 1 when we booked until we left. Such a beautiful spot, wish we could return every year!

I had a wonderful time at Anu's garden cottage. I stayed for just over a month and the place is well-equipped for a longer stay like mine. I also enjoyed having my own private courtyard and Anu was always very attentive about respecting my privacy. Anu herself is a warm, generous and funny person, and I enjoyed getting to know her and her family. She also communicated clearly and quickly and everything went completely smoothly. An unexpected benefit was having access to such a lovely and vibrant garden, as well as her very friendly dogs -- who are there if you wanted to play with them but also are good about leaving you alone if you prefer that. The location is great, around the corner from the Greenhill shops and restaurants. I'd certainly recommend Anu's place.

The place is quiet, beautiful and had everything we needed to make our staff very comfortable. We enjoyed our holiday because the accommodation was comfortable, more like home away from home, even my 10 month old baby was catered for with a high chair and cot. I will definitely return for future holidays in SA and I 101% recommend this place especially for small families, it’s exquisite and the hosts are friendly and hospitable.

Probably the best Airbnb I’ve been to so far. The host went above and beyond to make sure that the place is enjoyable. She had board games, bottled water, wine, and she welcomed us with candy on the beds. The house is beautiful and has plenty of space outdoors. My friends and I enjoyed it there so much. The only unfortunate mishap was that the host accused us of stealing the remote before looking for it on the couch, which she later found. That was disappointing, but other than that, 10/10 accommodation.

We picked Marten's place primarily for the back yard and it didn't disappoint! The kids loved the pool and trampoline as well as the play structure and lots of well maintained open grass areas to run and play. The house was great as well, particularly the open living space. Brave was always available at a moment's notice to clarify anything required. Would definitely book again. Thanks

We loved this place! It's super close to OR Tambo, making it perfect for a short stay. The apartment is amazing, with everything you need. Mercy was so helpful and friendly. We'd highly recommend it, far better than a hotel! We'll definitely be back.
