Mermaid Cottage was as described by previous guests. Cozy, comfortable, and supplied with everything we needed. Plenty of towels, extra blankets, etc. Since we like temperatures on the cool side we did not need to increase the heat. Wonderful hot water for taking a shower. Stephen was responsive to text questions. Great location for restaurants, walking, and biking. Recommend Mass Audubon's Allens Pond Wildlife Sanctuary for birding - it's 6 miles from Mermaid Cottage. We would stay here again. Thank you, Stephen!

My family and I booked this house for them to stay at the week of my wedding. It was absolutely perfect and made for incredible photos for my first look with my HUSBAND! So much room for everyone. The kitchen was so spacious! And let’s not forget about the VIEW!!! This house sits right on the water with stunning views of the harbor for sunrise and sunset. I would recommend this place to anyone traveling with family members 10/10!

A beautiful place by the Taunton river. Great views and very comfortable setting. Felt at home immediately. Free food from the host’s restaurant was very good and much appreciated. The host was very responsive and proactive in making sure our stay was enjoyable.

Matthew was super attentive and nice without ever being too invasive. the few times I did have a question he responded almost immediately and kindly. The place has everything I needed and more! Even made my entire trip easier because I could pack lighter due to laundry on site and supplied toiletries. I will absolutely be staying here again!

From the start Barry was very informative and helpful with the adventure we had set forth. Place is beautiful, clean, so welcoming...easy instructions for use of the home. The messages back and forth made us feel like part of the family...easy to talk to. We will be booking again!! 5 Stars all day!!! GO PATRIOTS!!!!!!!

I booked Pedro’s guest suite last minute after my motel reservation had to be cancelled. What a perfect space! Cute, cozy, and comfortable with everything I needed. Extra touches like bottled water and a candy dish were so nice. The beds were great, as was the lounge chair. Pedro was very nice and super responsive. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

I love the location and the feel of Mary's home. My husband, daughter, and I came to Taunton to visit my in-laws, this location happened to be very close to their place. It's also very quiet and peaceful. It has all the amenities that we needed at the time. Very home-like. Even though her family lived downstairs, they were very quiet and respectful. Mary was responsive and helpful when I contacted her around 3-4 am because I didn't know how to operate the thermostat and it was freezing 😓 Thank you for letting us stay in your wonderful place, Mary! If we were ever loud, I apologize.
