Walking History Tour, Foodie Style
This is a Baltimore Tour, foodie style.. We will walk through either the neighborhood of Fells Point or Mt. Vernon, and I'll tell you what I know. The history of both neighborhoods are so different from each other, so you really get an opportunity to dig into the history and stories of the city.
We will eat at 4-5 different stops, depending on each tour. Fells Point focuses on local, fresh, and Baltimore Food like crab cakes. Mt. Vernon focuses on higher end cuisine with multi-ethnic cuisine from around the world. The food on both tours is filing, and the experience is amazing.
The history in Fells Point deals with colonial roots of Baltimore. We talk about the founding of the city, and the role it played in the War of 1812. Our tour of Mt. Vernon speaks to the time after the War of 1812, and the influx of influence, wealth, and industry to the city. The two stories are completely different, as is the food!
Both tours are a full meal, and you will not be able to eat dinner after this tour. We'll show off some of our favorite places to eat and drink, and give you the insiders guide to the city. Once you've taken our tour, you feel like a Baltimore resident, and you can share what you've learned with friends, family, or coworkers.
Other things to note
Please let me know if you have any dietary needs. Our partner restaurants can accommodate any dietary restrictions such as gluten, shellfish, or vegetarian.
Paddle On Baltimore's Inner Harbor
There is no better way to see Baltimore City than by standup paddle board! We will paddle where Baltimore’s shipbuilding and steel mills once stood. This fun and informative paddle tour will give you a fresh perspective on our city. We will meet at the Inner Harbor Marina and paddle approximately 3 miles on the harbor.
We will go through a brief introduction to get you familiar with the waterways and with our equipment. We will review all the paddle basics to ensure you know proper paddle technique and are able to paddle safely and responsibly. Once you feel comfortable with the basics on how to paddle we will head out for our adventure: paddling around the Maryland Science Center, National Aquarium, we will get up close to the U.S.S. Constellation (the only surviving ship from the Civil War), Pier 6 Concert Pavillion, the historic seaport of Fells Point and then across the harbor to Domino Sugar.
We highly recommend prior SUP experience for this experience. Although Baltimore's harbor water quality has improved significantly, it is still not water you would want to swim in. If you have not been on a paddle board before, reach out to us and we'd be happy to give you a lesson on a different body of water!

Bromo Arts District Tour
The Bromo Arts District has some exciting and rapid changes happening within. This area has recently received the prestigious distinction of being an arts and entertainment district which is a state designation. This means artists which live and work within its borders are privy to certain tax breaks. There are live/work apts with galleries and pop-up events (some of our tours will be scheduled during these events). There are a variety of murals which are part of larger series throughout the city. We will be able to see work by artists: Michael Owen, Jahru, Jay Coleman, and NEVER 2501. Many of these walls are of very high-caliber but the gentrification of this area is such that it is very likely we will lose many of these walls in the next 5 years. We will also learn of the anchoring arts organizations which have been here for many years, as well as the up and coming newer businesses helping to bring new life to this forgotten area of town.
We will begin our journey at the bunshop on read st. BIPOC owned and offering a very unique selection of eats and drinks, as well as its eclectic atmosphere which has gold accents and unforgettable decor. This is one of the only cafes offering Thai tea and vietnamese iced coffee, as well as rotiboys (a malaysian pastry).
Graffiti Warehouse Meet n' Greet Party
The meet n' greet is a photo shoot and networking event for models and photographers. It's very relaxed and informal. Everyone mixes, mingles, and shoots at their own pace. Models and photographers shoot inside Graffiti Warehouse and when the weather is nice, outside in Graffiti Alley. Photographers, bring your camera and join the fun!
Other things to note
Flashes, speed lights, and additional lighting are welcome, but not necessary.

Highlandtown Murals and Painted Screens
We will walk to many points of interest, including murals, arts organizations, public art sculptures, as well as a local restaurants which have been around for 100 years. This tour will reveal the tightly knit fabric of this working class community in which these murals went up. Located at the edge of Greektown, this town was founded by a single man who was asked to create this town by the mayor of Baltimore, to which he dragged his boat to the top of the centrally located hill and began this strange quest of settling the land to the east of Baltimore. We will learn about the major players behind the mural art pieces and the movements which aided in their funding. Tour goers will understand the components involved in putting a mural up, as well as the questionable legalities.
We will also delve into the history of ‘painted screens’ a community art form specific to Highland town. It originated here and is sustained through this community.
Other things to note
This walk can be a bit warm due to lack of trees on this tour. Dress smart with clothing that breathes and be sure you can remove layers. Sunglasses, fans, hats, ice water, gatorade can greatly aid in the comfort during certain weather.

The tour takes approximately 2 hours, time can vary by rider experience and tour size.
I would like the guest to leave feeling like an insider to Baltimore and give them the same sense of discovery I feel here.
