Located in a nice quiet cul-de-sac, the Beach Shack is the perfect spot for your Families South West Explorations. FAMILY BOOKINGS ONLY - Due to the proximity to our lovely neighbours, and noise complaints generated by groups of friends, we are only accepting bookings from family groups. We have a No Party Policy at the house and due to the number of recent noise complaints from Neighbours, we can only only accept bookings from Families at this point in time. BED LINEN is an EXTRA charge of $20 per Queen or $20 a Single Bed, left as cash when checking out. This includes Bath Towels for each person. BEDDING CONFIGURATION The main bedroom with a Queen Bed is downstairs and easily accesible. The two other bedrooms are upstairs upstairs via a spiral staircase. These upstairs rooms are another Queen Room and the room with single bunks. If a spiral staircase is a mobility issue for any of your group, the downstairs bedroom will be best. Split system Air Conditioners are in both of the upstairs bedrooms and the main living area. These easily warm or cool the house as required. A Pot belly stove is in living room and guests are required to provide their own fire wood if using the indoor fireplace. The house has it's own Netflix account so feel free to use that while staying at the house. It can be easily located on the TV menu when turned on. OTHER AMENITIES Unlimited WIFI, Gas BBQ, Fully Equipped Kitchen Microwave Dishwasher Kitchen Staples (Sauces, Tea, Coffee, Sauce, Salt and Pepper etc), TV with Netflix and PS3 with a few basic games, Board Games and Puzzles, Outdoor Dining Table, Outdoor Lounge, Washing Machine. Make sure you head to nearby beach at low tide to walk out over the exposed Sand Bars, especially if it's at Sunset or Sunrise time. You dog will love the Sand Bars too. A few of our favorite local hidden spots have been added to the house Airbnb guidebook so make sure you check these places out if you have time on your stay. LEAVERS INQUIRIES - WE HAVE ACCEPTED A 2023 LEAVERS BOOKING ALREADY. We are prepared to accept inquiries regarding future Leavers Bookings, however we have strict conditions that must be agreed to before any booking is taken. These include - $1,000 bond paid 1 month before the booking commences, 1 parent of the Leavers group must be in town or nearby for the duration of the stay, Max of 6 Leavers staying in the house and under no circumstance are extra's stay the night, and visitors kept to an absolute minimum. Entire house is available for use for your family. Entry is via a secure lockbox. Contact details are provided at the house or ask any questions through Airbnb. The house is on a nice quiet street that some lovely permanent residents also live on and we ask that they be respected at all times. Please keep noise levels reasonable and if you are planning a noisy trip away (i.e. noisy party) then this house is not suitable for you. Walk to the local beach that is only 2 minutes away or stroll into town for your morning coffee. The house is on a quiet cul de sac that is perfect for rollerblading or street cricket. Can fit 2 to 3 cars on the property if required and all cars are required to be parked on the property, not on the street. Please don't adversely impact the lovely neighbours by parking all over the street Please give as much notice as possible if you would like linen provided. The fees are $20 a Bed and $20 and will need to be left as cash for the cleaner who will make the required beds and wash it all afterwards. The linen fee includes Bath Towels also. Well behaved and quiet Dogs are allowed at the Beach Shack however we do ask that they stay outside in the back yard. There are other dogs on the street so we don't want dogs that will be barking at other dogs and upsetting the neighbors. The rear yard is nice and large and a great place for your dog. The lowest fence is approx 4 feet tall if you are concerned about your dog being able to jump over and get out. The beach closest to the house will be a favorite for your dog too.
