Tierkloof Mountain Cottages: Serenity

Situated on the slopes of the Swartruggens range, Serenity boasts magnificent panoramic views across the Ceres Karoo. It is perfect for those looking for privacy and tranquility. It has a large private pool as well as a wood-fired hot pool, and a long patio with chairs and daybeds. The interior of Serenity has a large open plan living area with a closed fireplace for those chilly winter evenings. An ideal getaway for bird-watching, hiking, mountain-biking, stargazing and total peace and quiet.

The name says it all. Located on a farm 28km outside of Montagu, this house once was home to full-time fruit farmers. Surrounded by mountains with only the sound of birds this is the perfect relaxation destination. The spacious house is ideal for friends and family who wants to escape the city life and relax in nature. There’s lots of hiking opportunities and mountain bike tracks. Evenings can be spent around the fire under the stars. There’s a braai inside for the cold winter days.

Bontebok House - Drie Kuilen

Bontebok house is a modern off-grid (only solar power) cottage in a remote valley of our reserve. Enjoy the quietness and wildlife on your doorstep! It has two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped, has a fridge, an oven and a gas stove. There's also a fireplace, braai on the veranda and wood fired hot tub. This house does not have WiFi or cell reception. 4km from the house lies our yard with free WiFi access. Firewood is available at our shop for R50/crate.

Haven Cottage
