Waterfront vacation rentals in Ammersee

Top location with access to a public swimming lake (free of charge). You are far enough away from the lake so as not to be harassed by bathers and close enough to walk quickly. The apartment was super clean and newly furnished. Family Paulsteiner is always responsive and very helpful. Bicycles can be easily stored. To shop you need your car or better a bike. The location is predestined for this. From our apartment we had alpine and lake views. It can't get better. We'll be back.

Carole’s place was as described. Steps from the old city, lively neighborhood, across from the river with lots of foot traffic and retail. Perfect spot for Oktoberfest or just a weekend. Away in a cool little city

I was in Helene's beautiful apartment during a trade fair and can only report good things. Everything is easy to reach by tram, the Isar and the English Garden are just around the corner and some nice restaurants are also within walking distance, so all in all absolutely recommended and I for my part will be happy to come back, thank you.

Daniela's apartment is super nicely furnished and fantastically located. Directly opposite is the access to Lake Ammersee and you can take great walks through forest and fields, stroll along the lake and take boat tours again from the nearby jetty in Stegen in spring. Excursions are therefore guaranteed :) The apartment itself was easy to reach, you could park well, the access was via a key box and thus flexible and everything was tiptop clean. I can only recommend the apartment!

Had a wonderful stay with Sophia. Friendly and helpful but not intrusive. Chickens on the farm laid my breakfast for me! home made jams … bread service if required. The appartment is really well equipped and everything is in good condition with lots of homely touches to make sure you enjoy your stay. We will definitely be booking again! The house is beautiful! We had a great time there. It is really wonderfully furnished and you feel comfortable there as a big family. Particularly nice is the huge living room, where everyone can sit together comfortably and have a good time. The children also had a lot to play with. I can recommend it in every way!

We spent Xmas and New Year at this house. Cornelia is such a great host. The house has everything we needed for our family! It was an amazing experience!

Beautiful and clean area, with a lot of entertainment oppportunities, active sport life and sharp clean air on the other hand cosy, clean and silent location perfect for a family trip. Friendly and proactive host really feel like friends. Simply perfect!

We really felt super comfortable in Astrid's place! The Airbnb is beautiful and well maintained! Astrid also had many recommendations for us, which made us very happy and which we also followed up on. In the area you can go hiking directly (on the Jochberg it goes straight up) and there are some good restaurants right around the corner. In general, the contact was extremely pleasant. We would recommend Astrid's place and of course her as a host to anyone without hesitation!

It is fantastic, especially the roof terrace with the panoramic mountain view is absolutely amazing! The location is right in nature with easy access to shopping and restaurants. We really enjoyed time with 4 families with infants (1.5-4 years)! There was plenty of room for everyone and you feel right at home. For children, everything from baby beds, high chairs to toys is available, also a playground is right around the corner! Communication with the hosts is super fast and straightforward, they are always available, super friendly and happy to help out. We would come back anytime and highly recommend it! We were two couples with two children traveling for skiing. We have reached the Alpspitzbahn on foot in 15 to 20 minutes. The apartment is spacious and perfect for six. There's everything you need in the kitchen. Very cozy and modernly furnished. Just outside the door is a playground and a small park. We were very pleased!

Rainer was extremely helpful with all of my needs and adjustments. He was generous with tips and ideas for experiencing the local environment. He was kind with changes in my schedule, which was not to be automatically to be expected, given the Christmas holiday period when I rented. I would definitely like to return, and I will (reluctantly!) recommend this sacred place to others who might appreciate its many rare qualities. The setting is second-to-none, and Rainer is even moreso. One of the top places I have ever rented on this site.

We were guests of Dagmar and her husband for a short stay, both of whom are extremely friendly and helpful. The apartment is superbly furnished and the location is great, quiet, in nature and super connected in terms of traffic.

Anke and Christian were very gracious hosts! They made sure that we checked in easily and provided wonderful recommendations for activities and restaurants. The condo was wonderfully clean and bright and comfortable. It was such a delight to view the lake through the glass doors and balcony by the kitchen and living room. A really delightful experience in beautiful Tegernsee!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The location is ideal for daytrips to Munich or the region south of Munich towards the Alps. A very important feature was the very comfortable bed !

Such a beautiful location, the views of the lake and the mountains from the veranda are amazing. Place has everything you need and it’s walking distance to the down and the many swimming spots. We loved it.

Very nice, centrally located yet quiet, bright apartment with a balcony and views of the countryside. There was nothing missing and we felt totally comfortable from the first moment. In 10 minutes you can walk to Lake Ammersee and the city center of Herrsching is even closer. Check-in went smoothly. Annika and Nicola are very nice, helpful and attentive hosts. Great equipped place in a lovely location. Really everything from the kettle to the baking paper and coffee powder. Wolfgang is very friendly and easily accessible. Two notes that were not clear to me until the day of arrival: - Pool and sauna are public area. Sauna is small (for about two people), costs extra and can only be paid in 1€pieces (about 1€/15 minutes, until sauna is hot plan about half an hour - so sauna about €4-5). - The garden is also for other hotel/holiday apartment guests and you have to cross a street to get there. Still, everything positive prevails and the place is highly recommended! Thanks + happy to come back!
