Abstract painting and cocktails
Bien contemporary art gallery opens the door every Friday (other days are sometimes available) to those who want to be creative while being social.
We will receive you with a welcome drink, Mojito Whiskey sour, etc. After presenting each other, you will be introduced to abstract painting. Every time we have a theme to focus on different techniques and expressive resources. The gallery provides with the materials you will need to create your abstract painting.
A professional artist will guide you through the whole creative process. He/she will make sure that you will create a hangable abstract piece that you will be proud of and make sure you have a good social time.
You will be able to buy extra cocktails, or coffee during the event.
Danish Histarchitorian shows the depth of Copenhagen
Come join a Danish architect and a Danish historian for a walk through the Copenhagen we love. On the tour you will hear what makes Copenhagen unique as a capital city – historically and architecturally.
Understand how wars, economic ups and downs, and mad kings have shaped the city's architecture. And understand how the architecture today shapes the way we live.
As Danes working with architecture and history we know the famous stories about our city and its people as well as the small facts of Danish everyday life.
The tour will cover most of central Copenhagen where you will see historic sites and hidden backyards. The tour includes a break where you will have time to sit back and relax with a coffee.
We want to give you the most personal tour as possible so we welcome all the questions and wishes you might have.

Hey Captain - Social Sailing
This is our "Hidden gems" tour where we will show our own favorite spots, which are off the beaten track from the standard path. Expect to get an introduction to areas we think are cool, local, and where you get a great a sense of what the life in Copenhagen is all about. We will either take a southern route or Northern route depending on what is going on in the harbor at your specific departure day.
The harbor in Copenhagen is undergoing rapid change, from an industrial harbor to recreational space open to everyone living in the city. During the summer months it acts as the main nerve binding the city together and attracting numerous water-based activities in the process. You will see how this is folds out with Kayaks passing by and happy Danes jumping into the water. We will point out our favorite places and hidden gems, whether you are looking a place for having an afternoon beer in the sun, a relaxed morning coffee, or simply and area to relax away from it all.
As we explore the upcoming areas away from the inner part of the city you will see how former industrial buildings are being transformed into new spaces and how Copenhagen is evolving as a city.
Other things to note
Please be ready 10 min before
We have a convertible roof for our boats we use for rainy and cold days, but nevertheless dress according to the weather.

The Kierkegaard experience
Experience the city that brought us Søren Kierkegaard
You don’t need to be a philosopher to join this tour. If you enjoy a good story or just want to learn about Copenhagen’s history, this is the tour for you.
The philosopher Søren Kierkegaard is one of the strangest figures Copenhagen has seen, and is undoubtedly one of the greatest minds to come out of this city as well as being a world-renowned philosopher!
Born and raised in the capital, Kierkegaard (1813-1855) felt most at home walking the streets he knew better than most, talking to vendors, craftsmen and the ordinary people.
On this walking tour through Copenhagen, you'll get the story of Kierkegaard's childhood, his growing up, his faith and philosophy (just a little), his struggles, mistakes and not least his unrequited love for Regine – to whom he dedicated his life’s work.
The Copenhagen that Kierkegaard knew was quite different from today. With no sewerage, thousands of cows, pigs and horses, hundreds of thousands of rats – Copenhagen was known as one of the dirtiest cities in Europe. And yet it was: “Big enough to be a major city, small enough that there is no market price on human beings.”
Other things to note
Please note: the meeting place is NYTORV - and NOT Kongens Nytorv. :-)
Explore a Crowdfunded Space Program
Join us for a day of rocket-building in our workshop. You'll get a closeup look at how space exploration has transformed into a hobby—and vice versa—by a community of passionate artists and engineers. You'll witness the art of rocketry happening right in front of you, as our volunteers work on current projects. Meanwhile, we'll discuss how it's possible to build rockets with extremely low budgets. You'll see how they work, with hands-on explanations using our own built engines, boosters, capsules, and hardware. Finally, you'll get to experience the feeling of sitting in a space capsule, waiting for the moment to be launched into space.
