Family-friendly vacation rentals in Ærø

We were very satisfied. It is nice to find a place on the water where you can also take your dog with you. The small summer house is very cozy. Great is that you can use everything that is on site, such as the bikes. A highlight is the outdoor hot tub. If you want to be quiet, the perfect place - just right for us!! For people who like to go in coffees or want to stroll, rather unsuitable if you don't want to take a "long" drive. Thank you Helle, we will be happy to come back. :)

Great place within short walking distance to the beach. In the house there is plenty of room for a family of four, and especially the trampoline in the garden was a huge hit outdoors. Everything lived up to expectations. We thank Thomas for a great stay and for his care of the guests as well as quick responses to communication. Would definitely recommend Thomas' place.

We felt at home. It was so nice, quiet and beautiful to be in the “Nice Yellow House”. The kitchen had EVERYTHING you need-which was a super nice surprise.

We felt very comfortable for a week in the autumn holidays with 2 adults and two children. Everything was as described. Thanks a lot!

Mosegården is beautifully located next to Faaborg Fjord with views of the islands and the sunset. The vacation home is spacious and well appointed with everything you need. Nina and Erik are welcoming and very easy to communicate with and make agreements with!

We were a lot of people staying for a simple night when we had to guest Ø Festival next door. Christina was incredibly flexible with beds and what time we could check in. Such a nice and cozy house, as well as a large and beautiful garden. We wish we had to be there a week! Great correspondence and easy to check in.

There was great reception. Kid-friendly beach. Everything was as expected. Highly recommend.

Really nice little cottage, which lives up to the title Fred and Idyl. We had some really lovely and relaxing days in lovely surroundings. Highly recommend Brian's lovely summerhouse. And Brian was super easy to communicate with.

We spent two lovely days in this very nice villa close to the city center - walking distance to everything. We lacked nothing, however, some of the beds were right on the narrow side for sleepers of 185 +... We had a great communication with the host couple and the place is highly recommended!

We had a great time, our dogs felt welcome and even visiting 4 people found room for one night. The kitchen is well equipped, the accommodation is super cozy, especially due to the fireplace and the beach can be reached quickly.

Lovely stay with Steen and Lotte, who are really sweet and nice. It was great to stay with them in a quiet setting for a family with 3 toddlers. Highly recommend!

The house is beautifully located, although there are some other cottages around it, you still have your peace and quiet. The house itself is just to feel good-we had four of us with a dog and the five of us felt at home. The fact that the grounds are fenced around the house contributes to relaxation. It's just a few minutes walk to the very nice beach. The area is wonderful to explore by bike and there are great routes for walking. Charlotte responds very quickly, she is very friendly and straightforward. This holiday will definitely be in every way in our memories ☺️

Our stay at Vanessa and Lars’ holiday home was fantastic! The house is beautifully designed, modern, cozy, and perfect for families with children. The large, open kitchen and living area is bright and welcoming, with floor-to-ceiling windows opening to a spacious garden. The hosts were incredibly responsive, providing helpful details before our stay, like what essentials to bring. They also provided thoughtful extras like toys, books, and a welcome package with essentials. The home was spotless, and the key collection was smooth. Our children loved the garden, which features swings, a trampoline, and soccer goals. We also enjoyed exploring the peaceful area and visiting Sønderborg, a charming nearby town with great restaurants and historical sights. Vanessa and Lars went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. If you’re looking for a family-friendly and stylish getaway in Denmark, this is the perfect spot. We can’t wait to return!

A lovely house with beautiful views. The garden and terrace to have breakfast or dinner is ideal. Unfortunately we were only able to use it once as the weather changed slightly. We loved the close by beach, hours of fun swimming in the sea. Just a little note, bed linen and towels are not included (it states in the listing and was totally our fault to have not read it.) As we travelled for a bit prior we were not able to bring our own and had to buy it. It would be amazing to have an option to hire it.

The three of us felt comfortable in Lars's little cottage. The fireplace is also very comfortable for cooler seasons. Privacy and tranquility were really great there and drinking a coffee early in the garden just wonderful! At the beach there are sometimes many stones, but you can also find sections with little stones. Sønderborg is about 20 minutes away by car and we really liked it for strolling and also the beach promenade is nice for swimming as well as strolling. The kids were immediately thrilled for a next stay with Lars!

A really nice place. Plenty of space and all essential amenities available. Lars was great at giving local recommendations and we were able to order breakfast for the next day in the evening, the day before. Breakfast was high quality at a great price. A place we would definitely like to come back to. I fully understand the good reviews that Gitte and Lars have received.

We had a lovely stay at Mettes house. Our son loved the garden with the trampolin and the pool. The house is located close to Svendborg, Odense and Egeskov Slot, so there's lots to see close by.

We booked the place with several families for a few days - we all enjoyed it very much - due to the many possibilities - you always had something to do - definitely recommended. The only drawback - the rooms for sleeping - are quite small - and for some reason the second side of the closet is always screwed on. The beds on the plateau should be planned - only with two people - we had two larger children there - it is too high for small children and never fit there - there is also no closet for these. Keep this in mind when booking - if you're really a lot of people.
