I will say that whom ever gets to rent this apartment from Vanessa is in luck. From the breath taking Manhattan skyline view, to the sophisticated decor this is a must see, must rent place! Vanessa is an awesome and professional individual whom is very accommodating by nature, being the travel lover she, herself is. “This is a review of our visit to NYCity and our stay in West New York in August / September 2011.
Last summer I was with my family for 2 weeks in New York and found that West New York was a very interesting alternative to stay, especially when it comes to being close to everything and of course for a very good price.
We rented an apartment through Sonia Florez of NY and really was an excellent choice because the apartment is super nice, and definitely well located and similar to one you get in a classic building in Midtown Manhattan or Soho and less than 50 % on the cost per night! (Fine!)
The apartment has a bedroom with double bed (Provision of linen), bathroom with tub (Allocation of towels), full-fledged kitchen, fridge and auxiliary dining room, living room with sofa (bed for one person) study - high speed internet and cable TV. It is very urban style furniture and objects from around the world, the cosmopolitan sober. Important Note: For who knows how to play piano has a chance to enjoy and Webern Hamilton is in the living room!
The apartment is located one block from Blvd East in West New York, in a really nice neighborhood, quiet and just 20 minutes from Times Square, let me tell you: You leave the building and a half block walk is the bus stop, as you wait you´ll see all Manhattan skyline is just across the Hudson River. (Spectacular views day and night). There is a linear park for walking and enjoy the visuals. Take the bus that runs every 10/15 minutes and almost 24 hrs (2.50 per person), this bus runs from East Blvd and Lincoln Tunnel to Port Authority which is a block away from Times Square on foot. Conclusion, in about 20/25 minutes from the house to the most recognized Square NY or the transport hub of the 42 from you can go everywhere!
We were visiting NY on a do's off beat plan which means that having been in this amazing city before, we not necessarily visited tourist sites and West New York was an excellent choice, well located and an apartment in which we did have an experience more like residents than tourists to the Big Apple! hehe
