We are 3/4 of our family - son Ian will be an engineering freshman at CalPoly this fall...daughter Sara is staying home and taking care of our mini-farm on the Oregon coast. Dad Dave is a marine biologist, metal artist, and surfer. Mom Liz is a librarian-chicken rancher -wannabe writer. At home we have 4 dogs, 5 cats, 5 pigeons, 20 chickens, and 5 pygora goats. As you probably know, it's hard to get away from the farm - this is our first "vacation" in 10+ years...so we are really looking forward to it! (Son Ian moves into the dorm on Monday the 12th, so he won't be with us the entire stay)
