Professional woman originally from NZ who loves traveling to new places, meeting new people and trying new food. Has travelled extensively for work and pleasure.Putting roots down for a while now and have a home to share in Sydney with travellers. My husband and I had a lovely time at Deborah's house. Both she and her daughter were very accommodating and friendly. The house and room is very comfortable and contained all the amenities you could want. We would highly recommend staying with Deborah.

This was my first experience of using AIRBNB and I know I will be using it again for all the rest of my travels. Debbie and her daughter were fantastic hostesses and made us feel right at home in her beautiful historic home. Our upstairs room had a little terrace that we would sit out on. We were able to see life going on in the neighborhood, see the beautiful trees, and hear the lovely birds singing to us. Lovely terrace house in funky Newtown with a very hospitable host. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to anyone wanting a stay fairly close to (but not indiside) the Sydney CBD

Great house, good location... close to everything, shops, trains, buses, supermarket. Room was great, as was the bathroom. Deborah was a lovely host and so helpful. Would recommend any one to stay here!

Lovely light-filled home in one of Newtown's leafy streets. Debbie was a kind and helpful host, and I greatly appreciated her flexibility with my comings and goings.

Deborah was a great host with a great house right in the heart of trendy Newtown. Easy access to the shops, restaurants, cafe's and the train station is just a few minutes walk away with easy connections to the rest of the city. I recommend a stay here!

My first experience with airbnb was a very positive one (the followings too). Debbie's house is located in a very nice and quiet street, the house is very pleasant, and I enjoyed a lot the conversations with Debbie. She gave me also useful informations for walks around Sydney and for theater plays.

It was a great experience staying at Deborah's house. The house is lovely. The room is large and sunny and the bed is comfortable. Deborah is very friendly. The location is brilliant, with great links to Central. The local area is lovely with some really nice places to eat .

The very first day I 'met' the house and loved it: it has a great energy itself. Bed and linen are just awesome! Then I met Deborah and I felt like being with a friend, someone whom I like to share thoughts, dreams and everyday life. What a gift! Newtown offers a lot: nice restaurants, cinema, bookshops, and it is 10 min by train to Central. Just go for it!

The terrace in Newman St, Newtown is a nicely positioned and beautiful residence that intrigues and amazes the senses. The room is open and roomy and the rooms are clean and tidy. I'll be coming back to Newtown for sure.

My wife and I recently spent the weekend at Debbie's lovely house in Newtown. Debbie made us feel very welcome with chocolate croissants on our first morning and delicious blueberry pancakes the next! Debbie was a great host, very interesting to talk to and full of lots of info about the local area. Her house has a lovely warm feel, is clean and tidy and decorated with Asian furnishings. And the bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in!

If you like the supburbs of Sydney like me, you can't get better than this ! Very conveniently placed, nice room, great bed and shower. Didn't meet the host as she was away but that had it's advantages..A home away from home. kate

What an amazing place to stay! Super welcoming and helpful host, located close to CBD but in vibrant Newtown with so many little shops and cafes and bars. Debbie and her daughter Dora are a lovely and respectful family. They spent a week in my apt and left it perfectly, they took care of my plants and lived in the apt as if it was their own place. On the first night we had dinner together and talked a lot. They are experienced travellers, kind and openminded, it's a pleasure to welcome them!
