  Sara's apartment is a cosy haven on the upper eastside close to shops and transport. It's well appointed and Sara and Bill are great landlords who are attentive and helpful. We strongly recommend this apartment and we look forward to our next stay.

  Sara's aparment is the perfect place to stay in NY if you want to be in a beautiful and safe neighbourhood. It's really cozy, spacious, clean and well equiped, besides, and probably my favorite part, it's so close from the museum mile in 5th Avenue, it will only take you about 15 minutes (or less if you walk fast =P) to get to Metropolitan Museum, Guggenheim and other Museum.   Nice, clean apartment. Only a few blocks from main metro stop. The kitchen had full amenities and lots of conveniences. The bedroom was quiet in the back off the kitchen. If you have someone sleeping in the living room on the sofa bed, they will have to deal with street noise. Sara was easy to communicate with and gave you instructions for everything you needed ahead of time. Definitely recommend this apartment.

  appartement très bien situé, propre, calme et bien équipé. Un petit bémol pour le lit en 140. Je conseille de mettre le sommier directement au sol pour plus de stabilité! En dehors de ce petit détail, location parfaite!

  Sara and her partner Bill are big hearted hosts. Their clan who reside on the property and in the neighborhood and world make the experience of staying with them even more colorful amidst the comings and goings. The accomodation in the chapel is private but also part of this little community as you choose.

  My husband and I stayed in the apartment while doing some renovations of our own apartment (we live nearby). It is a few blocks away from the subway and in a safe neighborhood. The apartment is very clean and has everything you will need to be comfortable (I was able to cook dinner with no problem). The wireless Internet worked perfectly. There are several grocery stores within a few blocks.

  Sara F. was an extremely knowledgeable and thoughtful host who went out of her way to make sure our stay was enjoyable. She has lived in San Miguel for over 30 years and has lots to share about local restaurants, markets and the lifestyle of the town. While we enjoyed being tucked away in a residential neighbourhood, there isn't much right around the chapel so you have to treck into town for most things.
