My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kumiko's. The apartment was clean and comfortable. Conveniently located close to a subway entrance, there was no problem travelling to anywhere in Manhatten or Brooklyn. Everything and more was supplied for us from an extra air mattress to cooking utensils. It was a great experience and I would definitely recommend it to any couples or individuals travelling to New York.
Kumiko's place is great, and exactly as presented in the photos. It is extremely clean and she provides nice extras like shower gel and shampoo. The apartment is close to the Lorimer subway stop and a 10-15 minute walk from Bedford Street in the heart of Williamsburg, but there are several good restaurants and bars right around the corner. It was an excellent experience, I would recommend Kumiko's place for a great base in Willaimsburg.
Our stay in New York was fantastic. Kumiko's apartment is in a quiet area but at the same time in the trendiest one of New York. Williamsburg is a wonderful neighborhood full of bars, nice vintage shops and it is two subway stops far from Manhattan (10 minutes).
Nearby you can find everything you need (supermarket, laundry, bar, pizzeria, restaurants, etc. ...)

Our stay was super, really cute little flat, very clean, perfect for 1 or a couple. Great area, Kumiko was super helpful with organsing the key and tips for local coffee.

this place is a perfect spot! close to the L a cute little spot the bed was super comfy i slept for hours. we were welcomed by kumiko's father as kumiko was away and he was lovely. he helped us with our bags and welcomed us with some drinks.
there were no problems here at all i recommend it to everyone and im sure if im back i will stay here again!
I had am amazing time in Kumiko's apartment—it is everything it says it is and more. I stayed during July and although she had an air conditioner, I barely needed it. So clean and quiet. Overall the best experience I've ever had doing this!
As a first time user of Airbnb my stay at Kumiko's flat more than exceeded my expectations. Kumiko was such a gracious and trusting hostess. Her flat was so comfortable with every amenity you could need and more plus the location was absolutely perfect! Must add that I loved that all her products (dish soap, hand soap, shampoo, etc.) were organic too! We will definitely try to stay here again next time for sure!
We had a great time at Kumikos place - very nice, clean, safe and cosy. Kumiko was excellent with communication and hosting, and we felt right at home. The area is perfect; smooth possibilities to go to Manhattan for that classic New York feeling, but located in Hipsterville in Williamsburg, Brooklyn right next to music primaries like Southside Guitars, Brooklyn Bowl, Music Hall of Williamsburg, Knitting Factory etc. From now on, every time we go to New York, we will ask for Kumiko's apartment!
We had a very good stay in Kumiko´s apt. Everything was as it appeared in the pictures in the website. Clean, safe comfortable,easy and quick to get to Manhattan. We definitely recommend saying in Kumiko´s apt.

1) Kumi is WYSIWYG, she is on the level, upfront and completely trustworthy.
2) Kumi is resilient. She's physically tough, doesn't complain, and she's tireless.
