Kristin was a great host! She gave us very detailed instructions in how to get to her place and also helped us plan our trip to Ventura harbour. We received a lovely breakfast with a great range of fruit. Thanks for a great stay!

Kristin was extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful. She offered me breakfast every morning as well as tea and coffee whenever. She spent a lot of her own time showing me around and making me feel at home. The mall is right down the street along with the bus station which made getting around really easy. Kristin was a very pleasant host. I enjoyed her company and she was very accommodating .... makes a tastey smoothie .... Her place is very convenient to the beach, stores, and eats. The bonus is that she sings very well too.

A very nice place to stay! House is in a very convenient location, close to the Highway but absolutely quiet. Kristin has the best bed I have ever slept in. She is very helpful, very kind and a great singer! She spoilt us with a wonderful breakfast, took us for a walk to the beach and we had lunch together in downtown. Ventura is a nice small city, very recommendable if you prefer to stay in a less crowded area. Also very close to LA and Santa Barbara. Any time again!
Reluctantly i am writing a review because I feel obliged to do so. Kristin was a welcoming host, and I had a good breakfast, however i don't really think that the place was suitable as a bed and breakfast. It is in a low rise housing complex on the fringes of town. I realised i was staying in the hosts' bedroom, whilst she slept in the living room. It just wasn't a big enough space to accommodate paying guests, and there was little privacy. Kristin was a great guest! And she is a wonderful singer as well. We enjoyed her stay, and entertainment as well. You might ask her to sing a bar or two.
Kristin was an absolute delight....easy going, respectful, independent, considerate....Any host would enjoy her company....We do hope to have her back again & again....Fond regards Wendy & Mike
