  Marie's home was so welcoming. We had no trouble locating it and thoroughly enjoyed being out in the country away from the traffic. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked for a hot breakfast. Marie was at work, so we never did meet her, but from her home, we could tell she was a gracious, educated person. We would highly recommend Edge of the Highlands for your visit to Scotland.

  Our stay at Marie's place was wonderful. Our daughter indeed enjoyed the piano and her sleeping room arrangement. And then the view from the kitchen...whahhhh! The location is great to the extent where you wonder why not to live in the country. We had a good time. Patrick & Joanna

  Marie is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Though we didn't spend much time with her (she granted us a lot of space), that time we did spend was interesting and informative. Her home is roomy yet cozy, the room very nice, many interesting books, the bed very comfortable. The area itself is rich in beauty and history, and the small village of Comrie is filled with good people and a lot of charm. The valley just south is worth the drive all by itself.   My friend and I had a wonderful time staying here -- we were made to feel instantly at home! Most places just offer breakfast (and my friend was happy that there was even brown bread provided for breakfast), but we were allowed to cook dinner as we needed. -- the layout of the house is such that guests end up with almost a whole wing to themselves. If we ever go back to the Highlands, we'll definitely try to stay here again!

  The stay with Marie was just what we were looking for.... A cozy little place , close to everything that we could simply reach all of our destinations and wild day trips.....and return to a large comfy bed, oh and the night light was always left on for us to guide our way in... Marie was very helpful with figuring out how to get us around on the roads, even printing and lending us maps of the surrounding areas...   Marie was welcoming, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about Scotland. She provided us with everything we needed and more. The cottage (rather large for a cottage in my estimation) is in a beautiful area with wonderful views. The portion of the cottage available for our use was quite spacious and comes with its own entrance. While the kitchen was to be shared with Marie, we felt like we had it to ourselves.   Marie was a warm and wonderful host - very attentive while leaving us lots of freedom to enjoy her cozy, charming house and it's beautiful view. She also gave us valuable tips and directions for places to eat and sight see in the area.
