Hi! I've been living in San Francisco for over 10 years and love to share the beauty and fun of my city. I am from the East coast (CT) and of South American (Argentine) descent. I work in high-tech, doing design and research, focusing on the design of products to make them easy to use. I love to travel and spent 9 months travelling last year around South America. I love to meet new people, and go out and enjoy the city nightlife but also love to enjoy the outdoors in beautiful Northern California. Monica's pad is fantastic. Incredible view, great location, simple and clean. And Monica is a top notch host! She left travel books about the area, gave us lots of advice about the best restaurants around and was an all around fantastic ambassador for San Francisco. Incredibly attentive, friendly and totally on it! We hope to stay there again next time!

Monica was a very informative hostess. My girlfriend and I spent 4 nights in her apartment which was located in a quiet neighborhood just 15 minutes from the downtown San Francisco area. The neighborhood is very quant and is just a 10 minute walk from beautiful golden gate park, Monica was so friendly and helpful over the phone and via e-mail prior to and during our stay at her apartment. We had a really nice stay in San Francisco in this apartment. The apartment is a great size for two people, amazing views. Close location to golden gate park & to multiple bus routes. Monica was super helpful with recommending places to go - so much so that we have to go back someday to finish them off! She was great to communicate with beforehand and organising the stay was easy. Meeting up afterward to talk about San Fran was great fun. I highly recommend staying at Monica's apartment!

I have been friends with Monica for at least 8 years. She is friendly, responsible, adventurous and a thoughtful host & guest. I've been to Monica's apartment many times for dinner parties and it's a sweet, homey place. When she comes to my dinner parties she is very helpful as well. I grew up in Monica's neighborhood, so I can vouch that it's safe and quiet, while accessible to some key bus lines in SF, so you can easily get around town, downtown or to the beach. I got to know Monica via airbnb (love how airbnb connects people)! I was looking for a space to live in SF while traveling with my fiancee and we stumbled upon Monica's lovely place online! We reached out and Monica was able to get back to us really quickly. I was on route to SF, and on the plane when her reply came, but she was really patience with our reply as well! I love Monica's apartment!It has an AMAZING view from the living room as well as the bedroom (romantic!), and it's situated in a neighborhood that features an endless array of restaurants, bars and grocery stores. It's also close to a bus line that goes downtown and runs frequently. On top of that, Monica is really warm, friendly, outgoing and will do the best that she can to make sure your stay is comfortable and memorable!
