I am Alexandra, 43, a mother of 4 (19, 14, 11 and 6 years old).
I was born in Beira, Mozambique. I am living in Portugal since 1976. I am a luso-african-asiatic descendent.
I am a Geography teacher (have teached for 18 years, and love teaching), but I left school last year.
I live in Grândola with my daughter Ângela (19) and my son Ari (6).
We´ve got 2 dogs (Flika and Pulguinha) and 3 cats. I love animals.
I love biking and walking, reading and writing.
I enjoy cooking, gardening and housekeeping.

I can't say enough good things about Alexandra and her family. I have only dreamed about people who are this sweet in my own fantasy world. Alexandra went out of her way to include me even in a special course of biological farming which, to me, as an avid gardener, was very enlightening and useful. Grandola is a wonderfully safe and quiet town that offers all of the amenities one might need and is a great steppingstone to the Alentajo. Ten stars!!

Alexandra was an excellent host. Her children are very friendly, and her home is lovely. She was very warm and welcoming. She walked us to restaurants and spoke with the owners on our behalf and gave us a brief tour of Grandola. She did much more than was expected. We truly enjoyed meeting her and her family.

We had a very pleasant stay at The Yellow House! The house is very comfortable and spotless (Alexandra is a cleaning freak :-) ), breakfast is delicious! Perfect location if you want to discover the Alentejo, both inland and the coast. Strongly recommend it!

Alexandra is my sister and she lives in Grândola, an amazing area about 100km south of Lisbon. I considered myself living there once, but then made different options. Grândola has the best to offer in terms of both countryside and beach, amazing and exquisite spots not far from the city and already with a true Alentejo feeling.
