  I'm going to be honest here, even though it would be easier to not leave a review at all. When I arrived I didn't have much time to look around, I dropped off my baggage and came back later to realize just how dirty the "private" room and adjoining bathroom was. The floor had tons of dust bunnies and the bed comforter smelled weird, somewhat like a smoker used it, but a scent that wasn't quite that.   i enjoyed to stay her place. she has everything you need. like towels, fredge, tv etc. unfortunately, i couldnt get a chance to see her, but she was really responsible. i stayed with my bf. she prepared extra air bed :)

  Owner met me at the T to do the key exchange so I wouldn't have to go out of my way. Good cheap room.

  Kerry was very accommodating. She told me what was nearby and even let me keep my luggage around till the afternoon. The room itself was fairly decent and had everything I needed - mini fridge, microwave, bed and night stand, personal bathroom with shower and soap.

  The place was just as described. Even though I did not meet kerry, she had already left a note with the keys when I arrived. And she was very flexible with the check in and out process as well. Overall had a very nice and comfortable stay.

  The place is in a nice neighborhood, Kate was very diligent and supportive along the process, got more appliances for the room and let us leave our bags a little longer. Great experience!

  NICE and CLEAN facilities with a good amount of space. Easily accessible, and only a short distance away by subway or bus from both Harvard Square and the downtown area. Kerry was also extremely flexible about when I could check in, since I couldn't give her an exact time until about a half hour before. She was courteous and professional, and my trip was a lot more pleasant as a result. Highly recommended, especially for anyone looking for an inexpensive, stress-free overnight stay.

  I could not meet Kerry on arrival, but she left everything I needed at the door so I have no problems to settle in. The place was clean and has all the basics, so was more than good for somebody like me that just needed a place to sleep ^^ Very close to MIT and there are restaurants, shops and others nearby. Recommended for single travelers.

  What a great first airbnb experience. The bed was comfy, the house was a lot cleaner than mine, Kerry was easy to talk to via email, super accommodating and didn't stress the checkout time since she didn't have someone staying the next night. Also it was DARK in this room during the day, which I loved because it meant it was super easy to sleep in. Ahhhhhhhhhh. I highly recommend staying here. Can't beat the price and tons of great stuff in walking distance.

  Kerry was very accommodating and helpful given our late notice for check-in and check-out. The room is located in a quiet neighborhood and close to MIT and transportation to Boston. Internet was available. The ventilation wasn't great but the provided fan has helped. The bathroom is very small. There was a small fridge available. It's a convenient place for sleeping just a night or two.

  A clean, private room with a bathroom in the basement of a house in Cambridge. Very quiet, perfect as a place to rest and relax while visiting Boston on a budget. The Subway is about a 10 minute walk. And while Kerry wasn't there when we arrived, she was nice enough to make sure the neighbors were there to welcome us and give us the keys.

  Kerri is a wonderful host! she provided us with a comfortable and safe living space. our plane arrived early and she was so sweet to rush home to welcome us in. its in a quiet and clean neighborhood. its a 10 min walk to MIT and a close walk to Harvard, and quick scroll to the subway connecting you to Boston :) i would stay with kerry again!

  Kerry was a very accommodating host, and her place was as described: a simple, private, basement room. TV, wifi, and a private bath made it a comfortable place. Easy access to busses and restaurants.

  Kerry's basement was fully furnished with everything we needed and she even pulled out a full sized air mattress for us. The room was clean and organized, as well as the bathroom. Since we got to her house pretty late at night, Kerry left us a nice note, the keys and internet instructions taped to the door. The house was easy to find and conveniently located. Thanks Kerry!

  About the Host: Kerry was a great host. In fact a great person at heart. It all started with the timing of our trip running into hurricane irene while helping my sis move into Boston. Our flights were rescheduled and my sis had to stay elsewhere for an additional 3 days before she could move in. Kerry was nice enough to put my sister up at her moms place while also letting the new guests check in. Thanks Much Kerry !!! Appreciate that !! About the Room: Its a good, well kept room.... More »

  I just stayed one night at Kerry's. The place was absolutely fine and in a good spot too, with lots of restaurants and coffe bars handy. Kerry was really nice and flexible about when I got out next day, which was a huge help to me.

  I stayed at the basement suite for couple of days. It's convenient (very close to MIT and Harvard). The suite was clean, private, and the host was really helpful.
