i am a jewelry designer, born and raised in cologne, germany, but i have considered los angeles my true home for the last 13 years. in march of 2011, i moved to palm springs for what was supposed to be a temporary stay. when it was time to go back to los angeles, i found myself reluctant to do so, but i was also not ready to give up my beloved home. airbnb offers the perfect solution to let other people enjo(website hidden)me that doesn't feel like a hotel, while giving me the freedom to enjoy my new favorite city without having to make a permanent decision.

I stayed for 2 weeks and very much enjoyed myself. This is a classic, Hollywood bungalow in a very attractive, quiet courtyard (only to be found in Southern California I believe). The neighborhood is lively and smells like Thai food and the metro is a short walk. One of the more accessible parts of Griffith Park is in walking distance. I had a car and that was a problem. Excellent space, very clean and a cute apartment complex. Location was great, street parking wasn't always easy, but there are meters on Hollywood you can park overnight til 8am. Walking distance to a super market, CVS, a bunch of thai places and Harvard and Stone which is an great bar. Only downside is no TV, wasn't planning on watching it anyway but it's worth mentioning.

This is a lovely little bungalow in one of those classic hollywood complexes with little bungalows off of a common walkway down the center behind a gated fence. We had a really lovely time. It's not the kind of place you want to stay if you want to get crazy because it's a quiet area, but the flat is great for that real hollywood experience. Cute hollywood bungalo in a convenient location! Susanna was very attentive, helpful and communicative. The house is also beautifully decorated and it gets lots of light in the daytime. It was also very clean and there was plenty of space for our clothes in the closets & drawers. Although we didn't need to use it, the full kitchen would be nice to have in the future. Would highly recommend this to anyone who would like to enjoy the great restaurant/bar scene in West Hollywood. Great... More »

Susanna is the sweetest host ever! I had a feeling that I'm staying at my good friend's house. The apartment is very sweet and charming. I strongly recommend this cozy place with the character.

We had the most fantastic time staying at Susanna's gorgeous apartment! The apartment is situated in the Thai district of LA , surrounded by plenty of good food and is also very close to all the sights in Hollywood. Everything about Susanna's home was perfect and we couldn't have asked for a lovelier host!

I stayed 4 doors in the appartment and LOVED it! it was perfectly located, very clean! the furniture in the appartment looks great and you feel at home right away. I was in touch with the owner (super nice) and she helped me with any request I had almost immediately! this place is a 5 STAR rating! will definetely come back for my next trip to LA!

Was our first time to had to sleep in an unclean bed, unclean used sheet with hair people under the pellows and full of hair cat in all the blanket and sheets, without light in the old bathroom, a smelling freedge dirty with hair cat on, a microwave so disgusting full of food inside, dust everywhere, tv and internet unusable, smell everyday during 8 days the pice of cat in all the house, and the more bad thing was to meet an agressive host angry to us because she had to come over to buy new...
