  Richard and Stella are amazing hosts and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is conveniently located close to Balboa park and all major San Diego attractions are within 10-15 minute drive. The house itself is in great condition. Next time we visit San Diego, we will definitely try to stay at this house again.

  Richard and Stella were the best possible hosts. 1. Their place is immaculate, and better stocked than any vacation rental or hotel I've stayed at. There were plenty of towels, and they even left us with some basics - OJ, muffins, strawberries, wine, and a plate of cookies! The kitchen was stocked with everything you'd need (and probably more).   Stella was warm and welcoming and we enjoyed our stay in her beautiful and very comfortable 2 bedroom home. She has a touch of flair in her decor that we appreciated and the lovely backyard filled with warm sunshine was a perfect way to being our day with two little ones who needed to expend their energy. She and Richard care genuinely for their home as their own and they were quite accommodating of the little ones we had on the trip. Highly recommend staying here over any hotel!

  This house was perfect for our family of four (kids aged 4 & 9). Great yard to run around in, very nicely appointed house with every imaginable amenity, well-stocked kitchen, laundry...it was very relaxing and comfortable for us and we wish we could have stayed longer. It's in a great location, quiet and close to markets and restaurants, and minutes away from most of the big attractions in SD. Stella and Richard were wonderful hosts and we will definitely be back!

  We greatly enjoyed staying at Stella and Richard's apartment in sunny San Diego. From the minute we set foot in the apartment we felt at home thanks to all the wonderful details welcoming us, including home baked cookies. Our hosts were extremely helpful and attentive. We recommend this rental for both business and leisure.

  Richard and Stella were very pleasant and accommodating during our stay. The home is comfortable and immaculately maintained, and they provided a few "housewarming" treats for us, including a chilled bottle of wine, a few breakfast items, and bottled water.   Stella and Richard have created a home away from home. It felt very comfortable just hanging out in the kitchen or the back yard. The home was extremely well kept and clean. The kitchen well equipped and user friendly. The beds were very comfortable, every night was a great sleep. We chose not to rent a car while in San Diego . We figured out the transit system with a computer . We were able to take a bus almost any where we wanted to go with a short walk to the bus stop either up or down... More »

  Stella and Richard's place in San Diego was perfect for us. It's a great location, plenty of space, a well equipped (and really well stocked) kitchen and great facilities. Stella took a lot of time to make sure we knew our way around and were happy with everything in the house. We'd definitely recommend it to anyone.

  staying at richard and stella's home far exceeded each and every one of our expectations. they truly went above and beyond. from little things like a sign on the door for our daughters room to big things like making us feel like a part of their family! we only left a week ago and i can't tell you how much our family already misses our little sunny san diego home!
