  We had a great time in NY. Tom's Flat was perfect even nicer than in the pictures. The area was very nice and central , we could walk everywhere. I would come back to this flat in a heart beat.

  Tom's place is located in East Village and right next to Death & Company - a great little speakeasy bar. Lots of bars, cafes, restaurants, and dives to check out within minutes. Great apt to stay at.

  Tom was a great host. I couldn't get to the apartment til fairly late in the evening but he still found a convenient way to get me the keys. The apartment itself was clean and spacious (though there wasn't a ton of furniture) and the air mattress was good. Clean linens were provided. The area is great, too. Overall a great experience. Tom's a really nice guy, too.

  NYC is all about location location location! I loved staying in the E. Village! The apartment is bare bones... but the air mattress was surprisingly comfortable and the place was also quiet, with the exception of loud neighbors on a weekend night -- but that's to be expected! It's the big apple! Tom was really cool... the entire transaction was really simple and easy. My only gripe was there was no hair dryer, so bring your own.   It was great staying at Tom's place. Great location, surrounded by great restaurants, bars, delis, nice people, close to the subway... The apartment is very practical and had everything we needed. I totally recommend!

  Our stay at Tom's was fantastic! It's all about location. We were right in the East Village and had great access to transportation, restaurants, bars - anything you could ever want. This was the best part of the apartment: stepping out and being right on Avenue A or 1st Ave, both of which have awesome restaurants and nightlife.   Easy as can be. Tom was very helpful and sent me all the info I needed to know in advance for the apartment and recommendations of the surrounding area. The apartment was great. Clean and comfy as he says. Great location and easy to get around. I'll definitely book his place again.

  Place was wonderful, decent price, great location, wonderful apartment. Clean and well-kept. Great bar downstairs as well (Death & Co) which is definitely worth a visit. Tom is very responsive as well. Definitely recommend.

  Tom's place was great! It was very clean and comfortable and the bed was nice and firm. He also had an air mattress for an additional guest. The apartment was pretty spacious for New York and the location was great and we were a few blocks from the subway. The East ViLlage has great restaurants and a wonderful nightlife. You can't hear too much noise at night but the apartment is above a popular bar. I would certainly stay at Tom's again.

  Indeed, the place is both comfy and clean. The cleaning lady was finishing up when we arrived. For New York City, the place was spacious, with a lovely living room and separate bedroom. The bed was firm, better than most hotels. The apartment is near lots of subway lines; very convenient. Tom provided us with excellent directions and places to eat. He gave us detailed instructions on the apartment, which were really helpful.

  Tom's a very understanding and relaxed host ;> The apartment is very neat and cute. Nice and spacious bathroom. The location is great. Very walkable to everywhere, including the no. 6 metro line that takes you everywhere beyond the village. Taxi fare to La Guardia airport is about $25. I'll live here again.

  The apartment was perfect and the location umbeatable! A lot of nice restaurants and cafes, besides the incredible Tompkins Sq park one block away!! Tom made everything extremelly easy for us, and even recommended a lot of places to hang out in the city. The perfect place to enjoy NYC!

  I stayed at the place twice already. The location is perfect - I do agree - nothing beats East Village! And the place fully reflects the ambience and style of the neighbourhood - comfy, stylish, but not pretentious with some free, artistic spirit. It is absolutely the 100% New York apartment. Great for a couple. The host is very nice, helpul, very easy to cooperate.

  We really enjoy our stay in NY! Thanks to Tom appartment we lived liker New Yorker for 3 days. The appartment is just as described and just as fotos show it. it was very simple to contact Tom and everything was ok when we arrived! Next time in NY will be at Tom's place!!!!!!!!

  A funky place in a fabulous location. The apartment really is "comfy and clean" and has everything you need. Tom is friendly and makes it super easy for you. And it couldn't be in a more perfect spot for going out or exploring New York- I love the east village! Kate
