We are avid travelers and cultural enthusiasts. Accents and foreign languages intrigue us. Exotic foods delight us. And what others do differently perplexes and amazes us.

We just returned home from a 14-month trip around the world and are excited to show others why we think Chicago is in a true Golden Age! We enjoy taking advantage of everything this city has to offer - great parks, restaurants and museums, and we look forward to sharing that with others.

We stayed with Ryan and Laura during my first trip to Chicago. Ryan gave us tons of tips and recommendations for restaurants, entertainment, and sightseeing. Location, hospitality, and room were all great. I recommend this space!

Though I did not get the chance to meet Laura, Ryan was a kind and gracious host while at the same time offering a great deal of privacy. The apartment and room were quite clean and comfortable, and the neighborhood was in a perfect location. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay; Ryan and Laura are a delightful couple and have really gone all out to make for a comfy and inviting stay. The private bathroom and the back staircase ensured that we did not disturb our hosts when we returned after the symphony. The lovely neighborhood is VERY quiet and well-located for walking and bus lines for shopping, eating and the Loop. The apartment is on the third floor, but Ryan helped with our bag. I look forward to staying with them again.

We had a great time at Laura and Ryan's place and in Chicago in general (besides the very rainy days we got there: ( ). We didn't have the chance to meet Laura unfortunately since we spent most of our time touring the city but Ryan was very welcoming and nice, he even gave us some restaurants and touristy tips. What a great place to stay! Ryan and Laura were very friendly and hospitable. The room was comfortable with a great bed, and the separate entrance and private bath were a big plus. Easy walking distance to good coffee, great restaurants and transportation. Big thumbs up.

Ryan and Laura are super friendly and helpful! Their home is beautiful as is the neighborhood it's located in. The room is separate enough from the rest of the space that you don't feel in the way and it has all the comforts you could want. It's great having a bathroom right in the room. Can't recommend these two enough! Thanks Ryan and Laura - hope to see you in Savannah sometime.

This place is every bit as beautiful as the pictures show! The best location in Chicago - right near the lake and zoo in Lincoln Park. Ryan and Laura are both very nice and cool, and instantly felt more like friends that strangers. I highly recommend this place.

I had an excellent experience renting the advertized room at Ryan and Laura's home: it was nicely furnished, clean, the bed was very comfortable and having an ensuite bathroom was a great plus. The location of their home was very convenient - within walking distance from public transportation but still in a quiet, tree-lined street.
