  Kristen was a great host, and even helped me out when I lost my i.d. and needed the dmv to fax a copy to me. Her studio was very cute and had everything we needed. Note that the mattress is on the softer side, so if you like a soft sleep, you're in for a treat! Loved all her recommendations for neighborhood finds. Since we were rained on a bunch, the distance from subway was a bit problematic, but in walking weather, it was not an issue at all. Plenty of cabs for rainy days, unless it's at... More »

  Kristen is a very great host. She is easy to get a hold of and shows a true concern that you are comfortable and will answer any questions. Her apartment is very "NY" like. If you want to experience what it feels to live in the Lower east side and feel like a true New Yorker, this is your best bet. Cant beat the deal either. The Bathroom and place in general is very clean. My only complaint is the Subway a bit of a walk away but there is so much going on during the walk you wont mind.

  we enjoyed our stay in kristen's cosy apartment! she welcomed us to a clean and warm atmosphere and made us feel very much at home there. there was also a list of recommendations for places to eat and drink in the neighborhood not to mention a delightful bottle of proseco. thanks again kristen for a wonderful stay at your place :-)

  Kristen is a great host. We arrived late but she made arrangements for us. Her flat is very cool, cozy and clean. When we arrived a bottle of sparkling wine was waiting for us. She also left us bread for the breakfast. Everything was well explained in the apartment. I would go back there anytime.

  Kristen is a very welcoming and generally nice and positive person. She had a few leftovers in the fridge, prepared awesome Prosecco for us and even mailed the key to us, so we could get easily into the apartment. The damage deposit was send via paypal and Kristen returned it the day after we left. Very reliable!   Great studio apartment! Communication with Kristen was speedy and effortless from the beginning. Even though my flight was delayed (ugh), Kristen willingly worked around my tardiness. The apt. was very neat and clean and the neighborhood was a pleasure. I would recommend the stay to anyone interested (the champagne was a nice touch!)

  I had a lovely experience at Kristen's place. Her studio is very charming and clean. I did take advantage of the list of suggestions she left me and tried Esperanto (fantastic veggie omelet) and Elsa (gorgeous little bar). Although, I do love the neighborhood - the one thing missing is a convenient subway stop. But if you don't mind walking - it won't hinder your stay at all. I would stay here again!

  Kristen was incredibly kind, helpful and most importantly, trustworthy. She contacted me immediately upon accepting my offer to work out the logistics of my stay and made herself easy to reach despite the fact that she was out of town.
