  I am leaving Katie and David's place tonight, after staying here for a week. I will miss the apartment - Katie and David have done everything possible to make it an interesting, gorgeous space - I'm always noticing new details. The apartment was quiet, the loft very comfortable, and Katie and David friendly, caring hosts who were also great at communicating with me prior to my arrival. Thankyou both. And Townes is a sweetheart! Thoroughly recommended.

I would agree with all the other folks who've stayed with them: Katie & David are great hosts (!!), friendly, flexible and just darn nice people! But I sensed that even before meeting them.   I had a great time at Katie and David's. We found we had a lot in common and they were very accommodating hosts. Their loft is comfortable and conveniently located, and they were able to answer all my questions regarding driving routes and places to eat. Great spot for a stay in SF.

  I really enjoyed staying at Katie and David’s place. Even before my arrival, they were very helpful in providing detailed directions to the loft as well as both of their phone numbers. Katie was kind enough to arrange a parking spot for me when I had a rental car for one night. David had great local suggestions, including a tip to hike up to the top of Bernal Heights Park, which I did early my first morning there.   We were so happy we found Katie and David. They have an awesome loft and were super sweet (so was Townes the dog). They helped us with everything we needed whether it be directions, or cab companies' numbers or finding the best/closest bar or reserving a parking spot. The bed was comfy. The price was right. Thanks for a great stay!!!

  Katie and David were really lovely and friendly. Very knowledgeable about the area, and willing to give advice and help. There were no issues using a shared bathroom, and I had plenty of privacy in my room. The apartment really is beautiful, and inspiring. They are really close to the BART and MUNI stops too. I hope I get to come back to San Francisco and stay again.

  The best place the & best people to stay at while in SF for sure! The room is spacious and the bed is even better as yours is at your home. Katie, David and dog Towns were extremely welcoming and nice hosts. Experiencing SF for the first time with these guys was with no doubt the way you should do it as well - highly recommended.

  Believe these reviews!..Great neighborhood. Great food (restaurant, groceries) nearby. Close to transportation. Spacious room, comfy bed. Katie and David were extremely kind, welcoming, gracious hosts! Townes the dog was super friendly. My 4 nights there were relaxing and enjoyable. Highly recommended. Would do it again in a heartbeat!

  Great location, very easy to access the BART, and buses. Must check out the Valencia St and the Mission St. A lot good restaurants, cafes, bars, coffee shop, parks and characteristic shops Fun neighborhood to hang out and walk around. The LOFT is spacious, and very welcoming. We sent the whole night doing nothing just reading our own books while lazily lying on the comfort bed and enjoying the music played by Katie and David.   katie and David's pad is wonderful and comfy - certainly v different my experiences as a londoner! they are very lovely hosts too and made me really at home. can't recommend their place more!

  This is a fab place to stay with gracious hosts Katie and David. They even made me a cocktail when I arrived! The bed was super comfortable and the location is superb.
